Was able to book appt the next day with 3 time options!! Keith, the repairman, was professional, wore a mask, quick, thorough and friendly. He fixed the issue and answered all questions.
I would avoid using Sears Appliance Repair for anything. I have found that their technicians lack the necessary knowledge to diagnose and repair a problem.
The repairman was great, I knew right away what the problem was and fixed it put a timely fashion. The downside is how Sears does their appointments. The Workman was great.
This was the third time since December of 2020, Sears has failed to repair my ice maker . Now they will try again tomorrow!

Technician was prompt, businesslike and courteous. Came right in time and quickly repaired the dishwasher. Could have charged me for a new pump, but repaired mine instead saving me money. Cleaned up everything on completion and left with dishwasher in perfect order. Highly recommended.
Serviceman Trevor arrived on time and was very cordial, neat and professional. He was quick and efficient . He gave me an explanation of my problem that I was able to understand. He finished with his inspection and let me know that I might think about replacing my water heater since it was getting older. It was pleasant experience for me.

Our repair woman was professional and helpful! She arrived at the time she said she would, and when she discovered the second problem with our washer, worked with me to get the repaid done as rapidly as possible. I am extremely satisfied with the service and would easily ask for her again!
I am completely unhappy with Sears and the service I have received. My refrigerator has been out for 2 and a half months and there is no fix in sight in the near future and there is no one to contact that will do anything about it. This is the worst experience I have had with a company in my entire life.
Our AC annual PM service was done mid March 2015. The technician arrived on time and completed the service in about 30 minutes. Our AC no longer makes any noise when turned on. The service was great.
We are very happy with our repair service. It was questionable if it could be done and the repairman went above and beyond to make it work. It took longer than expected, so it ate into his repair time allowed for other jobs (it was after 6 before he left so he did not get to those other jobs). We are very happy.
Awful! I was sold on the competence of Sears warranty and purchased our Kenmore Elite 28.9 Cu Ft. french door bottom freezer unit. On the first year anniversary, I called for the annual checkup. I was also told they would install the filters but I had to buy them. The company sears contracted to fulfill the warranty calls sent a person who worked on lawn mowers and didnt know much about Refrigerators. He came in and checked the temp on the refrigerator and freeze. Then he said that was it and was ready to leave. I asked him about changing the filters and he said he didnt know how to do that. I am not only disgusted, we are now looking for a washer and dryer but absolutely have no faith in Sears providing a reasonable warranty. What a rip!

I have used Sears for both my refrigerator and my dishwasher and I have had nothing but good things to say. Sears is my go to repair company. Always professional and polite. I would seriously recommend Sears.
I am Craig Woolsey. Shirley is my wife. I was surprised and disappointed when I received the amount of the bill. I anticipated that the $79 fee for the call would cover the major part of the repair. The bill was twice the amount of the fee. I dont know how long the repairman worked or what the hourly rate for labor is. Since there was no new part included in the fee, it seems overly expensive to me. There has not been sufficient time to know if the repair was effective, so my rating above is generous and optimistic.
The last repair person to come to put a new gasket into my control panel on my range, didnt get it secured on the right hand side. I am going to have to request another repair. Ugh!
Our craftsman mower started stalling, not wanting to start. It has the Kohler Vtwin engine. I called customer service to schedule an appointment. The gentleman was very helpful and managed to find an opening soon. The repairman was a very nice and knowledgeable fellow. In less than 30 minutes I was ready to go. New carburetor. All at no charge! It really pays to have an extended warranty, and craftsman equipment. Always have had great experiences with them!
They came out to fix my craftsman garage door opener. They thought they had it fixed. It turns out that the intermittent issue was not fixed. They returned, free of charge, and claimed they had it fixed and tried to leave when the garage door was exhibiting the weird intermittent behavior. They looked at it some more, claimed it was fixed and left. It was not fixed. I contacted customer support to see if they would then put the money I spent to repair the door opener toward a new door opener. They said they would call and email me back. I never received a call or email back.Do not contact unless you want to be stuck on the phone in auto-attendant hell and have sub-par work done.
The reason I am very pleased is because of service repair man. I know Sears by the quality of your employee. I wish all took their job that serious. He was there a few minutes after 8:00 am. I know him as Perry.
Good communication, the Tech knew what he was doing. He was very respectful and had our issue repaired in no time.
Serviceman arrived on time. Repair was completed satisfactorily. But, $200 for 10 minutes of labor is outrageous. We wont be calling Sears again for repairs.
The serviceman was very pleasant and spent a long time trying to fix the problems with my washer. He had been scheduled to replace the drum as it was snagging clothes and tearing them. However, the drum would not come out of the washer, so he broke the transmission in the process. My washer which had made a slight grinding noise now has a very loud whining, grinding sound and makes being in the house while doing laundry virtually impossible. I mentioned before he left that the sound was not normal and was told that it was a new transmission so it would make a new sound. Sears is coming back out on Saturday to address this issue again, hopefully they can fix it. Also hoping they take the old drum with them this time instead of leaving it in my garage.

Nothing was repaired . Technicians claim there is nothing can be done . One problem is the spin cycle is too harsh low spin and highest spin are at the same RPM which leaves my cloths stuck to the barrel sides. The results being the cloths are so wrinkled you cant even iron them out. Then there is a metal on metal scraping during the weighing/leveling times. Technician says there isnt any metal in the clutch or whatever area generating the sound. He says it is all plastic . I do not understand how plastic can sound like metal . I did not ask him about the hardware holding the plastic together, there may be some misalignment there making the noise. I have to take their explanation but I do not have to agree with them. Personally I would like the washer replaced but have been told that isnt going to happen. I have been a longtime customer and have purchased at least 7 (seven) washer/dryer sets, refrigerators and dish washers from Sears since 2000 this is the first time I have asked for a replacement and I have complained only 1(one) other time.
Happy with the diagnostics testing but repair is still not complete because we are awaiting repair parts. Ask for review after full repair is made.

Took almost a week for them to make first visit on a fridge that was totally not working! They ordered parts and scheduled return for 1-1/2 weeks out. Then one day before they were to come, they delayed another 4 days. We had no problem with the repairman that came. The problem was they had no concern for getting repairs made on a timely basis. We cancelled contract!!!
Repair was first rate! It took a long time to get an appointment but the repairman was on time and very good at what he does.
This is the 3rd icemaker put in over 6 months, or so. Really tired of having to wait for servce.A lot of times the appointment was scheduled, & even though I was given an estimated time, & or the tech said he was on the way; I ended up waiting about 3-4 hours of my valuable time. This is extremely irratating when you have others things that have to be done.
The service was on time, done well and fast...the contractor was polite.

Our refrigerator has been broken for nearly 3 months. Weve only had it for a few years. Repairmen have been unprofessional and dont appear to know how to fix it (we are on our 9th appointment). Never buying a Kenmore again, but especially never buying a warranty from Sears again.
