Service man very thorough, removing the winters accumulation of leaves and washing out unit. This has not been done by last two companies. Spent time on check list--so impressed with attention to inspection details. Have them on a one year contract as a result.

AC started blowing warm air Friday evening. Called Dowd the next day. I was thinking they probably wouldnt be able to schedule me until Monday. But they were able to come out within the hour. I got a call saying the technician would be here in 30min. Arrived right on time, took the cover off the unit & immediately spotted the problem & even had the part with him. My husband and I were amazing and thrilled that we wouldnt have to spend several days in the Oklahoma heat with no AC. We felt like the technician was very honest, didnt try to inflate the bill, but got er done in just a few minutes. This is our 2nd experience with Dowd & well definitely use them in the future.

Mr Dowd came out after hours on a cold night to correct my furnace problem and get my heat back on. I had out of town company and was so relieved to have my house toasty warm in a very short time. I’ve never experienced such honesty in a field where they could have not been. My a/c quit working, so they came out to look at it. I know nothing about a/c units whatsoever and I thought I was going to have to purchase a new unit. I was so surprised when the nice gentleman told me it just needed to be cleaned out. He was there 10 minutes and left. Grateful is too small a word to use but describes best how I feel about Dowd Heat and Air.

This place is INCREDIBLE!! I came home to find out AC had gone out. I didnt have a clue what to do so I started calling places. Billie (sorry if I spelled her name wrong!) was SO helpful, she advised me of what to do and worked her hardest to find someone to come help that night. One the technician got there he was great! I was even told that I should consider replacing the unit. Terry came in, diagnosed and fixed the problem. Im so grateful for the service I received today!!!

Very expensive.

They are contracted with PSO to install a thermostat. I understand this is a non emergency and they have to get to people without A.C. at the start of the summer. But they rescheduled twice with notice of only the late morning of. One of those days I had to take time off of work. The third time, I rescheduled when they said it would probably be at least another couple hours after the time we set... I understand all of this. But I set an appointment today for 3:30. It is now past 8:30 and I have not heard anything from them. Wasted Friday.

I have a 5 ton upstairs AC. For 15 years it has failed to cool the house below 80-something degrees in summer. Technicians and salesmen from companies big and small have examined it and, in one case, added major duct work to it. Nothing worked. I was quoted $11k to replace it by one large outfit. I was also quoted $4k to install an expanded condenser line, despite the current one matching the manufacturers spec.Dowd sent out technicians, not a salesman. They diagnosed (1) low freon, (2) constricted return air ducts, limiting airflow and (3) an 18-inch plenum completely open to the attic at one end because it had been sealed with a cardboard sheet 20 years ago.For a modest cost, Dowd repaired and modified the ductwork, and added freon.*** My AC now works perfectly for the first time since I have owned it. ***Oh, and they gave me a convincing replacement quote for less than 1/2 of the competition, once the present system really wears out.Hats off to these guys!

I called them out today. They came out really fast; which really surprised me. They did a good job and got me up and running in not too long of a time. I would have given them 5 stars. But I need to get further estimates on a furnace replacement. They sounded a little high on estimate to replace it. But I may be wrong. I will get some more estimates on replacing furnace.

When my ac went out, I got estimates from several companies. Dowd recommended just replacing the coil and were cheaper than other places as well. Techs were quick and professional and my ac is working fine.

The gentlemen that came out to replace an a/c unit were on time, professional, and held themselves to the highest of standard. They did not leave until everything was done, and done right! This meant having to fix issues that were unfortunately done improperly by other repair services. They were insistent on making sure everything was done properly, at no additional cost, so my family would be safe. I am very thankful for them.

Very impressive service! Rusty and crew did an excellent job installing our new system. Terry helped locate hidden ducts covered during a shoddy remodel and had sheet metal delivered to repair our old rusted plenum. These are the guys you can trust to get the job done right the first time.

Came out to reinforce our heating pipe on the roof. Same day service and the technician was great. They were fair and didnt charge us since when our home was built they felt it should have been reinforced more. They did the install of the HVAC when our home was built.

Dowd’s Heat and Air Technician came out and diagnosed the problem being a Heater igniter control board when a technician that my home warranty company sent indicated it was the thermostat. My home warranty technician left with-out fixing the issue but Dowd’s Heat and AIr not only came a diagnosed the problem they came back quickly after the home warranty company agreed to cover the charges and installed the new control board and my heater was up and running excellently in no time flat. Very professional, knowledgeable and courteous technician. Price was also reasonable. Highly recommend them for your Heat & Air issues.

Great guys! Was referred to Dowd by a friend in the HVAC business. Was told they do good work and wouldnt overcharge me. He was correct on both accounts. The quote I got from Dowd was considerably less than the others and they got to work the next day. My old system was a mess and we ended up replacing everything. My only complaint would be their scheduling and time management. June is a busy time of year for them and they have a lot going on, but I expected calls when they couldnt get out at the scheduled times. In the end, I feel like I got a great high efficiency system and they did a good job of installing it correctly. Will definitely be using them for all my HVAC needs from now on.

THe office associaate had a Tech. here that morning, and the tech.had the condensing coil cleaned out and the motor and capacitor replaced in 30 minutes getting us cooling down.

I heard Dowd advertising $85 Furnace tune ups on 99.5FM so I called them and told them I wanted just that. It is one of my rental properties so I gave them my phone number as well the tenants phone number. They informed me they would call when they were headed out to the property. To make the long story short, the first and only phone call I received was the day after they visited the property. They told me they didnt do anything while out there because they were going to have to take the evaporator coil and assembly out and blow it all out to fix a furnace that we didnt know about. They said it was going to cost me $900 to clean. I asked them to just quote me a price on replacing all of the heat and air units for the entire house and I was told they would email me this information tomorrow. I never got an email or call back. Today (two weeks later), I got a bill in the mail for the $85 furnace tune up whenever they did nothing but look at the unit. They never called me while they were there or anything. I already have a guy coming from Fort Gibson, OK tomorrow to replace all heat an air for 3500. Dowd wants nearly $1000 to just blow out the evaporator coil. I would recommend not trusting Dowd to do things they say they will do like we will call you on our way out or we will email you a quote. The only thing you can count on is them sending you a bill in the mail for services not performed.

Was On time. Went above what he need to to to help me get heat in my house restored.

I have to give Terry kudos for integrity and having a competitive quote. His technicians were prompt and courteous and kept me up informed on where they were at in the installation. I did have a couple of issues that popped up after the install in that I realized the coaxial cable supplying my internet had been cut which took a couple of days to troubleshoot and isolate the problem. Also, not a big deal but we had a cold front come through requiring us to switch back to the furnace which would not work. Took me a little while to find that the gas had been turned off to install a new coil but had not been turned back on. Not a major deal but I would have given a 5 star rating if those issues had not come up.Overall I would recommend Dowd Heat and Air to anyone that asked and once again I cant stress enough in Terry Dowds integrity in the quote process.

Called them to come out and give me a quote on a new heating and cooling system. They called me 10 minutes passed the scheduled appointment and told me that they would be there in 30 minutes. Needless to say, I told them to forget it. I can understand that things come up and people will be late, but calling 10 minutes after the appointment time is unacceptable.
