Our AC decided to stop working during the night. Called A Best the next morning and had a Technician at our house within an hour. Unfortunately the AC was not repairable so we had to look to install a complete system. A Best was able to move some things around and installed our new system the same day. To say I was amazed does not properly describe my feelings...overwhelmed with gratitude starts to explain. The installation was smooth and the Technicians were very professional and thorough. The Manager, Jared, was very attentive as were the Technicians. I highly recommend contacting A Best for your heating and air issues.
I didn’t have an emergency, but I knew I needed some work done to my heating and cooling system. They were prompt for scheduling the service. The service tech was on time and had great communication- even before he got here. He took time to explain what was needed and gave me options. Which I truly appreciate that!
So grateful for A Best Air and Heating Inc. My 91 year old mother’s air went out over the weekend. We called A Best Monday morning and by Monday afternoon mom had a new A/C and furnace. Everyone, from the tech who first came out, the installers and the people on the phone were extremely professional and knowledgeable. We have done business with them in the past and have always received excellent service. I highly recommend A Best!
The technician showed up and appeared to be under the influence. Was unable to put sentences together. He then told me it was 150 dollars a pound for Freon. I talked to two other companies that were 75 and 80 dollars. Told me it needed 12 lbs of Freon when it was only 10 1/2. When I called the office nobody there could confirm their going rate for Freon. I paid the 70 dollar surcharge. Bare in mind the tech was able to tell me this was an “easy fix” would take 30 mins. But would cost 2,050 dollars. I got two other quotes at 750 and 800. I’ll leave this review at that.

Service guys arrived early to start installation of a new HVAC system to replace a 21 year old system. They worked from 6:45 am till 4:45 pm in 100° heat. Strongly recommend A Best Air & Heat.
Matt answered my call after everyone else in town couldn’t come to my property for another week. He first put me down for the following day then called back immediately saying he could get someone out that same day. Sure enough two hours later a young man named Dalton showed up and noticed the problem and fixed it super quickly. AC is back on and we are very fortunate since it’s over 100 degrees with the heat index. Thanks again to Matt and Dalton. I most definitely recommend this company.
Called for seasonal maintenance on my HVAC system & to change the air filters. They were very quick & responsive to schedule me and arrived on time the next day. Being disabled I felt I could trust them completely to do their best on my behalf as they also went the extra mile to help and explain their services.I called them for their $69 special and signed on for their annual maintenance & service plan. My heater had not been working for a week or 2. I finally called A Best just this morning and I was able to talk with one of the owners. She promptly scheduled me for an appointment and told me Robby would be my service technician. Robby arrived and was very pleasant. He completed his work quickly and efficiently. He took the time to explain what he had fixed and broke down the pricing. He then informed me they have a service contract and the difference in the pricing. I went ahead and signed up for the service contract. I would highly recommend them to everyone.

UPDATE as of 8/19/2020-A Best sent a refund of the price we paid for the cleaning.BE AWARE! The company does not follow through with their commitments. Ive included the original complaint below which was filed with the BBB. The company responded a year later saying they would refund our cost yet hasnt followed through with that either.We hired A Best Air & Heat to clean our air ducts. They have been done twice now and still not completed properly.We had A Best Air & Heat come out in the Spring of 2018 to clean our air ducts. The lady cleaned quickly each duct from inside. We had the company out in January and the technician explained that there was no way the ducts were cleaned properly and he called the office to reschedule. The company called and scheduled them to come clean again on 1/21. The dust had been building up constantly in our home since then and our allergies have gotten worse. When the technicians came in on the 21st, they said they were going to be cleaning from the attic and pulling everything in that way. They assured me that there wouldnt be an issue with dust or anything and they would cover anything that needed to be covered. They didnt cover anything and as I was in the office where one of the returns is, they dumped about 3 cups of dust and dirt all over the dogs kennel. I ran up into the attic and told them and they assured me this wasnt happening anywhere else and said they would clean it up. My mom stayed at our house from 1/26-2/3 and almost immediately was sick from all the dust and dirt. She called out a company to check the ducts and their professional assessment was the ducts have never been cleaned properly. They took pictures and gave those to my mom as well as asked her to put cheap filters in the returns and see how much dust and dirt came out for 2 days. My mom spoke with Tammie at A Best Air & Heat to let her know what was going on. Tammie wanted to know the results of the test right away. Since the test has been done, I have called A Best and so has my mom, multiple times to discuss and no one has received a return call. The first time I called to discuss this was on Friday, 2/8 and have called them on 2/11 and 2/16 as well. Each time Ive called Ive been told that she would call me back when she was back in the office. My mom has called several times and hasnt received a call back either. My youngest son and myself have terrible allergies which is why we paid to have the ducts cleaned in the first place. This is becoming a serious health concern.
Called A Best because my furnace and unit were very old. The A Best tech, Boyd, was great and professional.. Boyd was knowledgeable and gave us options to precede.Charlene, Boyd, Dewayne, and Jared all worked very hard and we are very pleased with the results.
They were here within 30 minutes of my call. I clipped the thermostat wires with my hedge trimmer. It blew a fuse that I didnt know about.Great service. 👍

Very responsive, a service tech was here within a few hours to diagnose the problem and to schedule a time for new equipment to be installed. The installation team was on time and efficient, had the job wrapped up and cleaned up in less than half a day, very easy to work with.
I was on my way home to meet Jarrod Morton for an estimate, when my truck broke down. Instead of just rescheduling, Jarrod asked where I was and came out to help me fix my truck on the side of the road! Obviously he did not have to do that, but it goes to show that the folks at A Best really care about their customers and will go out of their way to help you! The technicians that installed the unit were very knowledgeable and professional and were willing to be transparent with every step! The whole install took around 4-5 hours.
ABest has a beautiful $12/month maintenance deal that covers the maintenance charges twice a year and offers discounts on repairs. I’ve been on the plan more than 4 years, have had both the heater and air conditioning units replaced and have received excellent service.

Woke up to a hot house this morning. Called several HVAC places around Claremore, none could respond today. We have plans this week and needed it repaired fast. ABest said no problem between 1pm and 3pm. Tech knocked on the door at 1pm sharp! Wow, thanks a million, all went well and air is cold again!
On June 26, 2021 we had a technician, Dalton, come to our home to do an inspection and try to find out what is wrong with our central heat and air. We were advised by our landlord not to say he was the third company to come out and try to diagnose it. Well he did his inspections and sat at our dining room table to speak with us about his findings. He started out by saying the insulation isnt sufficient in our attic and the the duct work was not accurate. He asked us about financing, and when we said we rent he jumped up from the table and said oh that changes it . I need to speak to your landlord. He never wanted to speak to us again. On June 28, 2021 we then heard from our landlord that a best would be installing a new unit the following Saturday. We couldnt wait! Our days of sweating were over! Well that Saturday, July 3, 2021 the crew arrives. 11 hours later they still were not finished. They claimed it was hot and therefore needed a cooling off inside their truck with the windows down for hours at a time. It was still not fixed. The guy first of all said hed be back the next morning at 7am and was an hour and a half late..more excuses and more 1 hour breaks. I then called the company to report the unprofessional behavior and was not heard by the boss. At noon on the 4th of July he realized he didnt have the right equipment and the part place closes at 1230. Another day of no air. They then come out on Monday and refused to give a time, due to unaccountability. We then wait for them to arrive on July 5th. We just wanted air all the time everyday never cleaning their mess and laying their equipment on my mother-in-laws antique dresser.. leaving scratches all in it. They evidently didnt level the drain pan that day causing a leak and ceiling damage. Someone came out to, fix it correctly on 07/09/2021.a six hour job and 5 trips later and almost 30 hours of man time, our ac works sort of good, it runs constantly, and at best gets to 75.On the way out the door the HVAC man Hayden said he would email our landlord the findings... You guessed it, he never did. HVAC guys are con artists. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!Nothing ever done about insulation, and duct work!

I am really impressed with A Best. I had my condenser, compressor, and furnace replaced. The cost of the complete replacement was very fair and competitive. The technicians are knowledgeable and courteous. Rob and George had the entire job completed within four hours. They not only left the job site free of any trash but actually left it cleaner than it was when they arrived. Quality of work was outstanding. Customer service is great too.
First, the technicians showed up when they said they would be there. They also called and texted when they were on the way.Second, there were no surprises on the price. What they quoted was a good price to begin with, and they did not come back with overtime charges after the fact.Finally, they were knowledgeable and completed their work in a reasonable amount of time.We had a complete heat and air install and when they did the install the technicians came on time again, placed tarps on the floor to keep from tracking dirt on our floors while they were bringing the new system in the house and removing the old system, they got the work completed in a timely manner (complete heat and air install in a day with some extra fabrication in our heater closet to make things work better).I would recommend A Best to all of my friends and will be using them for my heat and air needs from now on.
The technician was very informative and professional. Everything was explained thoroughly.However, after doing a little research I found their pricing to be extremely high. For example, I was charged $600 for a new fan motor, Actual cost online $200. Charged $200 for new contactor, actual part cost $20. I will probably go somewhere else for future repairs.
Our heat went out on the coldest weekend of the year and I was 30+ weeks pregnant! A Best came out to check the system on a Saturday. They returned on a Sunday to install (which they normally dont do) a new heating system 4 degree (-15 with the windchill) and snowy weather! All the men were professional and worked diligently to get heat in our house as quickly as possible. We are so appreciative of how quickly and hard they worked to fix the problem!

A Best Air installed two new units at my house. That part was great. They work as they should. I used A Best because my brother and mother recommended them. However, everyone has different experiences. I had follow up questions and their customer service after the fact left me feeling like I was being a bit of a pest. This is why I only gave them 4 stars. If you do use these guys, be sure and call the office if you need any assistance. Don’t contact the technician even though they will tell you to contact them if you have any questions or issues.

We called them to inspect a non-functioning A/C unit and they said we needed a full replacement for $6000. We decided to try a second opinion first. The next company came over, thoroughly inspected and cleaned the unit, explained the issue that was now resolved. We paid for labor only and saved $5870. A-Best sent over salespeople, not technicians. BEWARE! Do NOT use!
The A/C went out on a 95 degree day (of course). I called them and the owner of the company and a tech came right out (on a Friday afternoon nonetheless). I explained that I wanted a good system but was on a bit of a budget. They gave me a price that was about half of what one of the other companies in Tulsa had quoted me a year earlier (I imagine thats how they pay for all those TV commercials). The installers came the next morning, on-time, and were courteous and professional. The poor guys were working upstairs in 110 degree heat and never seemed irritated. It would be one continuous string of profanity if I had to spend my Saturday doing that. They were done in in under five hours just like the owner said they would be. They cleaned up after themselves and explained the new system to me. Highly recommend, five stars. Thank you!
Called the company out on Saturday, they came out within a few hours to see what was wrong with my AC unit. Turned out that the AC unit was bad and the best route to go was to replace the whole system. They tried to come out the same day, but it was already to late, so they came out at 8:00am on Sunday, on a holiday weekend, spent about 7 hours putting the new system in. I wouldn’t blame them because it was over 90 degrees, and I own a trailer house. Last time I called to have my ac replaced no one would even work on trailer houses. Good work, will definitely be calling them back. They quoted me one price, and they stuck to their word.
We had two employees come to service our system and help us figure out what was going on. Another company invoiced us for new parts for $4000. We wanted a second opinion and after inspecting our system we found out all we needed was a different size air filter. We paid $200 to become a member and have them come service our system twice a year. We are thankful for their knowledge and expertise!
We are not happy with this business. On their website they advertised a $39 service call. When the technician arrived, he did a great job of diagnosing the problem. My motor run capacitor was broken. He quoted us a price of $260 + the amount I already paid for the service call to replace it. We googled the part and it only costs $12. So, basically they were going to charge us $248 dollars for the five minutes it would take him to put the new part in. This amount seems to be a little excessive so I asked for a discount but they were unwilling to give me any discount. On their website, it say, As our customer, we view you like a family member, and we’ll treat you the way we’d like to be treated. $248 for 5 minutes of labor = $4960 per hour that they want to be paid. Thats too much.
Normally A Best Heat and Air have been decent in the past.....I dont know what has happened now but this time around not so much! Our unit is only 3 yearsmlm old and we had an issue after A Best came out to check out why our unit just keeps running.....the guy said everything was fine, he could not find anything wrong...well 2 days later my other half went to check things out because it still just kept running none stop and found a duct acrually on the back side of unit in the attic had come off and the guy went into the attic and said he didnt find anything wrong!!! I called them and the lady took my name and number to have the guy (who was the service manager!) call me the next day and NEVER got a call back...NEVER!! Pretty poor customer service if you ask me!! I will be calling someone else next time!

I had them replace a 30 year old unit a few years ago. They do the upkeep checks on it twice a year, also keeps the warranty running. This weekend the ac frittzed on us, called Saturday night and 9am Sunday morning they were here and fixed it. Due to humidity the drain line clogged, tripping the float valve. Drained and works like a champ. Only charged us half what others charge due to us buying a unit from them for a Sunday job. Always been a pleasure working with them.

I appreciate how quickly they respond and service after the sale is equally good.Even just calling the office to ask a question they are patient and always kind. I found them 2 years ago when my upstairs HVAC unit needed replaced. They did great. Today I was equally impressed (if not more) than I was then. Robby Beford was very professional and he showed up within 45 minutes of making the initial call. He was very knowledgeable and friendly and he had my heating system working in about 30 minutes. I will definitely use these guys again in the future.
First of all I would like to say that I called several places left voicemails, and sent text messages, and A best was the first to respond! It took the other companies days, and I have not even received a return call from some that I inquired with. Our ac stopped cooling, and would freeze up, they were able to get a technician out the next morning to look at it. I received a call when he was on the way, and when he arrived he was courteous, well mannered and his appearance was clean and neat. He promptly got to work checking over everything and performing diagnostics. After he was finished he came to me report his findings. My evaporator (R22 system) was rusted out, leaking Freon, he didn’t stop at just telling me, he showed me photos of the evaporator and the rust and how bad it was. He informed me of my options, one of which was needing a full system replacement, due to the R22 system being obsolete, at the end of the year. He then informed me about possible financing options, and went as far as putting me in touch with Them, so that I could discuss options. My wife and I decided to opt for replacing the system, and decided to apply for financing. We initially only got approved for a portion of the amount, but over the next couple days they kept working with us and trying different things to try and help us get the amount we needed to be able to replace our system. When they had exhausted all avenues, they put us in touch with a local credit union, with whom they do business and who we actually currently use. The rep at the credit union went to bat for us and used all available resources, and through both parties cumulative efforts and perseverance were able to get us approved for the amount we needed. Once we were approved A Best was at our home the next day installing our new system, which works extremely well and efficiently. The technicians again were courteous, well mannered, and clean. They got to work and within several hours had completed the install. Would, and Will recommend to everyone! Top tier premium service!
I had some issues with a freon leak that finally failed my condenser. Robby was awesome, he figured out the issue and we figured it was best to spend money on a new condenser instead of trying to fix the 12 year old one I had. They were back out the next day and my house was cooling within a couple of hours. Robby was great and Ive only had good experiences with A-Best. I appreciate the efforts and technicians they have.
After a 5+ year service agreement, the technician reported an electrical problem without actually inspecting the unit. Had he done so, he would discovered a loose connection on the unit. Instead, he reported that he serviced our furnace with no issues. Instead, after three phone calls to resolve the issue, we are stuck with a $250 electrician call for no reason and A Best would rather call us liars. Oh, and the furnace hasn’t been serviced according to our agreement. So, I highly encourage you to look for a company that actually values their long-term customers and doesn’t look at them with contempt.

Technician quickly found a duct problem and corrected it on my Central A/C. Then completely serviced and cleaned the system. Cost was very reasonable. Tech was friendly, very Knowledgeable, completed the work quickly, and clearly explained what he was doing, I highly recommend A Best Air & Heat I will definitely use them again.
