Filled out an application for a rental which I had to process with one failed attempt then finally by check. Then somehow the realtor managed to move a family in even though we were told the needed to prep the home before anyone could move in. I understand that this is a business but when you have to find a place for your family to live a heads up would be nice especially if you filed and processed your own application fee.
