I have been going here for years. YEARS! All of the team are awesome and lovely, to boot! They do a fabulous job and are always efficient.

!!!THIS REVIEW IS WORTH READING ALL THE WAY THROUGH!!!!!!!I booked an appointment and went there and the lady was really nice but she applied the nail tips very shoddily, and she kept filing into my nail bed. She did not apply the acrylic correctly and when she used the electric nail file she made them lumpy and uneven and dug into my natural nails. She then proceeded to hand file over and over again and when she applied the polish she kept filing in between. I asked for a almond shape and all of the nails were different lengths and different shapes. I asked for them medium sized and she then made them really long. When she applied the tips she matched them to my nail but then applied them crooked, and the edges of my nails did not match up to the edges of the tips. She applied the polish and didnt let it cure for the full amount of time. I paid 50 dollars and a 10 dollar tip, did not reflect the quality of the nails. 1 and 1/2 weeks later the nails are starting to fall off and it hasnt been 2 weeks. We go in and they tell us that we have to come 2-3 days after we get them done in order to fix them which is something that they never told me. I told her what I wanted fixed to them and they told me to come back a 6 and that it was free. I come back at six and then she gets to work fixing my nails, she goes to apply the tips on the three that broke off and redo my thumb nails. I kept asking her to fill in the other shapes, and file the nails down a little bit, she took the e-file and just hacked away at the nails with polish still on them and made them look really ugly. I kept asking her to fill them in and she kept ignoring me or to come back a different day because she wanted to go home. She finally agreed to fill in the other nails, and she made all of the other mistakes that she did the first time. Then it was time to leave and they go to charge us 30$ even though they said it would be a free fix. They then give us a 10% discount and we quickly left. A few more notes, they are really rough with the files, and they dig into my skin and left bruises underneath my nails. They overcharge, and try to rush you out of there, they are really rough, and dont let the polish cure all the way and whenI got home fur was sticking to my nails and they didnt hydrate my hands or cuticles afterwards and then when I put lotion on it mattified my nails when I got them fixed. My nails at the edges where the tip and real nail meet kept chipping away and breaking. IN CONCLUSION, do not go here, they overcharge for the quality they give!!!!!!!

These are the nicest ladies. This was my first trip there and they took me right in. Lynn was my mani-pedi person and she did a terrific job. Ill definitely go back.

Super kind, good prices, fast appts. No one wants to over pay for a gel manicure that only lasts so long, these gals get you in and out with a smile and good price.

Today is my 1st time stepping into here and I have to say they are absolutely amazing I came around 1pm and they were beyond busy due to it being the 4th of July but no matter that they booked me an appointment at 3pm and when I arrived they were waiting for me and completely ready super sweet and beyond accommodating to me. I dont live close to here but I will definitely be back just because of their service. Thank you ladies I truly appreciate your help today and making me feel welcome.

Even though I am young, I love this place. The connection between the staff makes a very relaxing environment. The prices are decent and they always do my nails perfectly. No matter what occasion you come for they have the best color selection and are very good at listening to what you want. The chairs are SO relaxing and take the stress right of. I definetly recommend this place!

My 1st time at Maize. I made an appointment and I suggest doing so. They are very friendly, efficient and my feet feel amazing! Michelle did my pedicure and I went for the full spa pedicure but they also offer an express. Which is about half the time. Also available is waxing. Even better are the prices! My full spa pedicure cost $25. Bring cash for a tip as they dont allow it be added to your credit card.

I absolutely love this place! The service is amazing and the quality of anything from pedicures to acrylic nail are super well, high quality for a great price! Everyone is so sweet and this is always my go to place for anything, anytime, definitely recommend!!!!

I went a second time...upgraded my review to 5 stars. It was a Sunday as I was going on a trip so I wanted to give them another shot.I mentioned that there were different people there than last time, and the staff all kind of grimaced. I think they let some not great workers go. Service was great, slow and careful. Staff was very friendly and they stayed late on a Sunday with no problem. Prices are very good. They earned a great tip, and I will be going back again. Note: bring cash if possible.Previously 3 stars--Not awesome. Didnt soak feet long enough to soften and did not remove heel dead skin. Polish and cuticles were ok.

I took my young granddaughter (7 y/o) and her friend here - all three of us had pedicures and they were as nice and attentive to the girls as they were to me - a month later & my polish is still on!Good value- great service🙂

Maize Nails is my favorite nail salon ever - nothing is ever a hassle and my nails always look great!

My daughter and I went to this place for the first time last Saturday. It will also be the last time I ever set foot in this place. I dont think any of the techs spoke English, so we had a real lack of communication right off the bat. The water for my feet to soak in was barely warm, and the jets were never turned on. I asked the lady not to use the cheese grater on my feet as it tends to make my heels split. But she didnt understand and used it any way. When she got to the polishing part, she put it on so thick it never had a chance of getting dry. Plus, it was messy and she didnt bother to clean up the over flow. My daughter was very unhappy with her gel manicure-it, too, was very messy with polish slopped all over her cuticles. Needless to say, we will never go back there!!!

Very friendly staff I like recommend Diane shes being my nail lady for 3 years she does and amazing job very pleasant very professional Definitely recommend Maize nails.

My mom and I meet every 2 weeks to get our nails done, and have for years, so we made an appointment here and we still had to wait for 20 minutes because they were so busy and had over-scheduled, big time. We both received horrible pedicures. Both of our technicians rushed through the whole pedicure and put the nail polish on so ridiculously thick that it still wasnt dry 2 hours later and we both have dinged up polish on our toes. They used plastic liners in the basin so they dont have to clean them after each pedicure and it felt soooo slimy and gross on my feet! They never even turned the jets on!! I also had a gel manicure done and it was the absolute WORST gel manicure that Ive ever had! My cuticles were rough and raggedy when she was done, and the polish was not only super thick, but she had gotten polish ALL over my cuticles. Anyone who has ever had or done a gel manicure knows that the polish has to be very thin and if it gets on the skin in any place and is not cleaned off prior to baking under the light, it will peel off in a matter of days. I also ​have nail polish underneath several nails some how. I would have complained before I left, but nobody working there spoke ANY English---we told them things several times and they had no idea what we were telling them. Even with the 20 minute wait, we were in and out of the salon in an hour and 10 minutes because they rushed through everything so fast. We went on Saturday and both of us had smudged, smeared, messed up toe nails that night, and now its Monday and I already have peeling nail polish on 9 of my fingers!! GEL MANICURES LAST 2-3 WEEKS WITH NO CHIPS OR PEELING IF DONE CORRECTLY!!! Dont waste your time or money at this salon---there are nail salons every 2 blocks in Tucson, and youre bound to have better luck at any of the others.

Sloppy job, i had to file and fix my nails after i left. no attention to detail, zero customer service. And to top it off, the nail tech, knowing what i wanted is just finishing up, then suggests a cheaper way to get the same result, but next time, still charged me $15 more this visit.... which will my lasr!!!

I could not have been more disappointed. My friend and I went in for gel manicures, 2 hours later she ended up having to rush out with nothing by a plain clear coat on (that they still charged her for) and my nails have color on my skin, the gel didnt set correctly bc they only put it under the uv for 30 seconds, she only painted half of my pinky, and the cursory cuticle work is more than evident. I wont be back.

My daughter and I just had manis and pedis done. The staff was friendly and professional. It was my daughters first time and shes 4. They were so patient and gentle with her, making it a wonderful first experience for her. Well definitely be back!

Ive been twice for manis and pedis and both times had pleasant experiences. Staff are friendly and helpful. They also get my heels smoother than any other place Ive gone to! Will definitely return

My wife and I are on our fourteenth year of going to Maizes nails. We tried others when we first came to Tucson but no place was as friendly as Maizes. I think well stay here.🤗👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩🤗

They are very nice and open weekends too, Sundays last appointment is 5pm.

Its nice and welcoming, the women are very gental, careful and helpful. Definitely would like to return.

Awful had to have the nail tech take my first set of tips off before she put on the acrylic. I asked for slightly curved nails she said no one at the salon did curved nails i asked for square i got some coffin shape some square and some oval. My nails started come off two days later. What a mess I would never recommend anyone going there.
