Stopped in looking for a specialty pan on a whim...hadnt been there since pre-covid but same friendly staff and great selection. I generally order in bulk from my wholesale supplier but in a pinch this spot never disappoints (or if you are an avid baker on a smaller scale and need ANY type of container, box, decorating supplies you can feel pretty safe theyve got you covered! Found an Awareness Ribbon pan to make a cake (last minute request) for my neighbor and Amazon wasnt going to arrive on time and I found it here. Highly recommend this place

If you bake, this is your supply store. Molds, flavorings, boxes, classes...I cant do it justice.Add to that phenomenal, well informed staff, and youll never want to leave.

Its a decent supply store. They are never fully stocked on any given day and always make excuses as to why they dont have certain items on the shelf. Some staff members are REALLY nice, helpful and engaging others (the ones that have been there a while) they choose who they want to be nice to. Customer service will always be a priority, they should take heed.

My first visit there was nice. It was a lot to see in such a small space. Too cramped, and over priced items.The customer service people was very helpful with info and tips.

Dont ever call this place needing any information to see if they have an item as they are not the least bit helpful!! Explain to the lady I live an hour away and she states Ill just have to come and look and see. I guess she didnt hear the part that I live an hour away...

You can go there and get what you need for any things that will make your cakes, pies, cupcakes and cookies look different. You can take classes how to bake. They have all kinds of different shapes pans and items you can use. They have boxes and trays. You just have to go and see for yourself.

If youre any other race besides white they wont treat you well. The older lady acts as if theres a long rod up her you know what and doesnt like being asked anything! I will never return here.

My husband and I hired Cake Art for our wedding cake. They EXCEEDED our expectations! Our entire wedding party and guests all raved about the cake and cupcakes. Although we made sure to have extra, it was all consumed by the end of our reception. A great testament to the presentation and (most importantly) the taste!

Last year August, I signed up for 2 cake decorating classes. I was unable to complete the classrooms because my mother passed away. I shared with, Angela, the instructor what was going on in my personal life. Angela spoke with the owner of Cake Art, and without hesitation she suggested that I repeat the classes free of charge. I can not express how thankful I was with her decision. This establishment is undeniably outstanding when it comes to customer service.

Anytime I go to the store they are out of just about everything from their chocolates to their candy colors, and lastly most everyone there is friendly and want to help and then there is one older woman who is just very rude and abrupt. It’s apparent that she don’t want you asking questions. I don’t know her name but I do remember her face.

This place is great! Off of Lawrenceville Hwy in Tucker Ga. They have EVERYTHING from cake pans to decorations, flavors and boxes. They allow you to walk the store and get what you want, ask as many questions as you want and have classes to learn how to make the stuff you see on t.v. Its great. From birthday party decorations to weddings and edible glitter in about any color you can imagine. Plus, its inexpensive for boxes and most decorations. Check out my video for more info.

Cake Art is an amazing place and I dont bake. If I were a baker I would live here in this store. It has everything you need for the cake enthusiastist. They teach classes so there is some here from the beginner to the most experienced baker. I highly recommend them and the staff are extremely knowledgeable, friendly. They seem very well versed in everything cakes and baked goods. As you can see they also have plenty of party supplies.

Normally I love this store. I have taken classes here and have gotten many of my supplies from here. I went to have an image print to put on a cake. After spending almost an hour in traffic to get to the store I was told they couldnt print my image. I would either need a flash drive or have the image printed out and then they could do an edible image. That is information that should be put on the website so I can be prepared. That way I dont waste my time and gas. Now I have to scramble to figure out an alternative.

Called to inquire if they were open and the individual who answered the phone (which I know exactly which employee it was) stated that they were only doing online orders. I then asked for delivery or can we pick it up after placing it online? She said yeah but Ill only be here for another 15 minutes. I then said ok and started to tell her what all I needed, she then hung up and upon trying to call back 4 more times she proceeded to pick up and then hang back up. The 5th time I called I then got a recording. You would think that as a small business they would be appreciative/welcoming any & all business. I guess Ill proceed to shop on Amazon. Good luck!!

So bad that this is the only place in Atlanta who prints edible images, I called to know the prices and to know if they do online services before heading to the store because I live 45 minutes away, the lady on the phone was so rude, she had such a bad attitude, she ended up saying that they don’t do online services and then she hang up whitout even saying “you are welcome” or something when I said “okay, thank you very much”

Really like their classes, great instruction and place to learn how to improve. The retail staff can be a bit grumpy at times.

Yesterday was my first time visiting Cake Art and I am certain it will not be my last. Each isle was filled with the most creative, crafty items one can imagine. My coworker has introduced me to my new hobby: candy and cupcake baking! Cake Art is where I will go to gather all my needed materials. Oh, they offer classes that are affordable!!!

I can always find what Im looking for in this store! Im like a child in a candy store.

1. Cashiers not friendly at all, they have no knowledge of the merchandise in the store. 2. We did not even receive a hello or welcome to the store Not willing to answer questions about simple items we needed. They seemed upset and therefore, not only at us, but all customers in front of us were complaining of bad customer service and assistance. They were rough checking out the items at the cashier desk to at least 5 people in front of us (between a young cashier and the older lady cashier) I went with my mother who has her own catering business and she had to find somebody on the back room (classroom activities place) and even this woman, who appears to be a catering teacher, did not want to answer a simple question about the packaging we we trying to purchase. 3.Poor variety of supply. We have gone to this store several times in the past years, and the truth is, the quality of customer service has been decreasing slowly but firmly.

I loved, loved, loved this store. This past Tuesday was my first time actually going as I always order for my business online. I needed some last minute things and decided to give them a try. Im borderline not ever wanting to patronize this place ever again. I am big on customer service. For Gods sake, you work in a happy place, well to me anyway. The PERSON behind the counter lacks professionalism and customer service. I didnt not care for the way she never once acknowledged me after walking in the store and looking directly at me. She never once said ONE word to me when checking out. Just plain RUDE!

I just went for a couple things! I make cakes a lot and usually buy everything I need from here! But today my daughter and I were so disrespected by a customer and these people did nothing! I was crying! They had no care I was so hurt! My daughter was upset I wouldn’t let her run around! Usually I have someone watch my kids but I have 3 cakes due and no one was available! I had to put my little one in the buggy and was trying to hurry up! This woman was giving my little one dirty looks and talking bad about her on the phone! I told her if she had an issue she could tell me not talk about my kid! She walked away continued talking about my kid that was crying because she couldn’t run around and get into stuff. Kids cry! I as a mother can’t give in to them every time they cry so others are happy! They have to learn! We had another argument in the front of the check out person she didn’t say a word! This woman was so disrespectful to a little kid I was in tears! How can u treat a kid like that! I have been loyal to this place but never again will I shop here! They have no respect for moms! They should have stepped in at the first sign of a commotion and said something! I will never recommend this place to anyone or spend a dime here! I will make sure everyone knows they don’t care about their loyal customers!

Cake Art is my first resource for supplies in my business; most of the time, they have everything I need and if theres something not available at the time of my purchase they will take the time to look for it. Im not too close to their location so I do most of my shopping online and then, we pick it up later in the day; they always have my orders ready on time. Staff is amazing, specially Angie and Anita, but all of the employees are always helpful, very knowledgeable and friendly. Wide variety of products, well stocked, clean and always adding new items to the inventory. This is the perfect spot for cake decorators, bakers, etc, I 100% recommend it!!!!

Since baking has become my hobby, this store has become my go-to to buy my craft needs. Theyre a little over priced but I understand since its not a chain store. Recently my daughter & I signed up for one of their cake decorating classes. It was horrible!!! The teacher, Angela, does NOT like to be asked questions & she gets very upset if you dare to ask something about what she just rushed through! Her response we only have 2 hours here so just wait & Ill get to you later, which she never does. There was an Asian man in my class with a very thick accent & whenever he would dare to ask a question she would immediately shut him down & even raised her voice at him, telling him she couldnt understand him, so just WAIT! The final straw for me was when I accidentally made my decorating icing with the wrong kind of Crisco & she made it a point to tell the class of my mistake & mock me for it. If I paid my $160.00 for my daughter & I to learn & enjoy the class, we shouldve been treated with much more respect than we received! Someone did call & leave a message to talk to me about the issue but when I called them back, he never returned my call. To me that means they dont care about the customer service, they just want your money!! Oh and by the way, I learned EVERYTHING that I wouldve learned in the class, on Youtube!! For free!!

I wanted to give this store 1 stars but that wouldnt be fair because the store is very well stocked and clean. However, the staff is awful. I walked around on a very slow Monday afternoon and not one person asked to assist me and at least 2 employees crossed my path, maybe 3. I found what I needed and when I went to the register, the cashier didnt say anything to me except for the total. This was not just a bad day, its like that every time I shop there. They are seriously unprofessional. They are usually talking about personal things, like health issues and family drama. I feel very unwelcomed when I come there. God forbid, you dont know the exact name of the item youre looking for. Its almost as if they dont want too much business. I try to get everything I possibly can from Michaels and Matthews. Cake Art has everything I need, but they are always the last resort for me.

Jamie was incredibly helpful, I got everything I needed for my baking needs! Not to mention she has a great smile and I think I saw her twice but wearing different outfits!

Been shopping in this store since 2013 and always had a good experience. They always have what i need, and if not they order it for me. If something if about to run out they will hold my product for me and reserve it. Even when i move from Georgia i will use them because its the only place in Atlanta. International sugar art on Jimmy carter is ok but dont have no where near the products cake art carries.

Slightly more expensive than craft stores, but the things that you can find here are PRICELESS. Only had one concern: Why are your Wilton Cake Classes SO expensive? $99 for 4 weeks, when Jo-Ann is offering the same classes for $30-$50? And the supplies arent even provided with your courses...

Called ahead to see if they had a 3D skull cake mold by Wilton. Was told yes they did. It was $35, which seemed right because it was $32 on Amazon. Drove an hour and a half to get to the store and what they had was a Wilton 3D skull mold, but it was 3 MINIATURE skulls. NOT what I asked for. The woman I talked to was nice and looked in the back for me, but her only other suggestion was to try Michaels or Walmart. Yeah. Because they have skull molds in June.

I went into the store a couple of months ago. Staff was very helpful and they had the suppIies I was looking for. While in the store I decided to sign up for a candy demo class. Looking some fun to do and as intro to a new hobby. Well, I today I get a phone call for a second time canceling this class. My question was does this happen often? The answer I received was its still hot outside and the candy will melt. My reply was, why would you schedule a class when its hot? . The answer I received was, the teacher makes alot of stuff. So I asked how many has signed up for the class? 3, but we normally have more ppl sign up in the fall. Again, I ask why would you schedule at class at that time of the year? No answer. Im really thinking twice about signing up for a different class to tske there.
