I work for this company and is by far my favorite. I have returned a second time as I loved it the first time (this is my second job). They not only match me with the perfect employer, they also take really good care of me as an employee. I have worked for other companies but this one is by far the best!
So, I started to talk with Soliant about a travel teacher position. When it came to placement and contract price we couldnt agree. The school district wanted to hire me. The school district was offering more in the way of salary/benefits combined to district employees than Soliant was negotiating with me. So here I am willing to re-locate temporarily for the school year and yet the district could pay me better. Whats the use? Oh, and are they even trying to place me elsewhere? No.Ok, I have been contact by a Soliant Rep. We had a very nice talk. She will keep me alive. I was told my recruiter had left the company. So, I guess nobody picked up the pieces. I will change my review from 1 to three, and well go from there.
Soliant Heath has great Pharmacist opportunities with large multi system hospitals. I worked with Senior Account Executive; Thomas Tatham, whom was very professional and helpful during the entire contract work process. Soliant also worked with me to gain an direct hire position with the hospital. They are good for PGY1 residents who have just competed their programs and now looking for hospital work. The entire staff of Soliant Health is highly professional and kind.
I totally wouldnt recommend applying at any job post they do or even wasting time to contact them. There were many positions opened in my area, I kept applying to them and sending my resume for each position without no response from them. I called and I left many voice mail messages and still no one got back to me. I sent emails to see whats happening and still didnt get an answer. After 3 months, I got a text message on my phone at 6:30 am whether Im interested in a new position so I replied yes but still didnt hear from them for more than 3 weeks now. Thomas Tatham, Senior Pharmacy Recruiter is not recommended to deal with due to the above reasons. I got a phone call one day regarding a position I applied to from Soo Lee Account Executive. She was totally unprepared for the conversation. She didnt even looked at my resume before calling me. She kept asking questions that showed, she know nothing about the positions I applied to or my skills. She didnt check her emails or my job applications that I sent before calling me. She sent me a skill check list that I completed and sent to her and still didnt get an answer for two weeks. I explained to her during our phone conversation regarding my poor experience with them but she kept trying to defend her colleagues and find silly excuses that they were busy. No matter how many emails or calls you make to follow up with them, they never answer. Im totally disappointed in this company. They should hire more professional and capable employees to deal with applicants.
I have enjoyed working with them. Kimberly in the pharmacy department was amazing. I look forward to working with them in the future.
David Franklin is a pleasure to work with. He is patient, kind, helpful, caring, etc... I can go on and on about him. He treats you like he has known you forever and he is sensere. Working with David and the Soliant team has been a great pleasure! I recommend them 110%!
I have worked for Soliant since 2004. While I have always loved my job, I have never been so proud to be part of an organization as I am now. I think a company tends to show their true colors when bad things happen. We can all agree that some bad things have been happening in the world. This company has gone out of their way to make sure all their employees not only kept their jobs, which we all did, but to make sure we were okay as people. To make sure we had access to services our family might need and offer flexible work schedules. Some companies put customers first, and that’s all well and good – but the wrong approach in my opinion. Soliant puts its employees first and I can tell you right now, every employee I know will go above and beyond every day to make sure our customers have what they need, because Soliant makes sure we have what we need.
This is my second year working for Soliant Health and it’s been amazing! Last year, I was straight of grad school and feeling overwhelmed with everything but Tori was there with me every step of the way and did all of the heavy lifting. It’s been that way since day one. There’s never been a time where I’ve felt ignored or unappreciated. If I ever have a question, Tori is one call away, even with a 3 hour difference!!!!
I have been working with Soliant for over 5 years as a contract SLP and I love my recruiter! She always answers my calls, texts and emails no matter what time I call. She has helped me with a couple situations with the school district to fight for more resources for me.
I worked for the company back in 2018 for 9 months. Now its 2020 and Im buying a house. The only thing holding me up from closing is the w2 I need from my time with them. They failed to place this on myadp (like every other decent travel company does). Ive now contacted 5 different people at soliant in regards to this. No one wants to help. 3 phone calls, no answer or call back. 2 emails. There are so many travel companies out there. Please go with literally anyone else.Ive worked with some really good ones. This just isnt one of them.
I worked 56 hours 3 weeks ago as a Med Surg RN and I was supposed to get paid 2 Fridays ago. Called my recruiter and she said I can choose to either receive a debit card or direct deposit to my account the following Friday which was yesterday. I chose the latter. Lets just say, I still dont have my pay. She said yesterday, I would have it by the end of the day and to call her if I didnt but then Kirsten Redd the recruiter wouldnt even answer her phone anymore. The fact that I left my kids to work a covid unit and not get paid says alot about this company. I pretty much just want to get paid and I dont think thats too much to ask. When they wanted me to take the job, they called and answered my calls all the time but now, its time to pay nothing I guess I am not important anymore
I would like to thank Adrienne Schuchman for her outstanding recruiting services. She was extremely helpful, thorough and proactive. Soliant is very lucky to have such a brilliant young recruiter matching candidates with the right fit as well as going the extra mile for them in order to make the world a better place for them.
I would rate this company zero stars if I could. I have had one of the most absolutely horrible experiences working with them. I am not being dramatic when I say that I am actually traumatized from my experience working with Soliant. It has caused me mental/emotional anguish as well as tremendous financial burden. I do understand that what happened to me is an individual case, and that others may have had nothing but positive experiences working for this company. But I am writing this post to warn you, that should anything happen that is out of your control, this company WILL NOT HAVE YOUR BACK. You are nothing but a number to them.I am a traveling SLP and approached this company in search of a job in the Asheville, North Carolina area. She convinced me to do an interview with a school in Elizabeth City. Long story short, I was offered the position and turned it down several times b/c I was not happy with the location. She and another recruiter continually pushed to try to persuade me to take the job through a number of tactics. Finally, my recruiter came to me with the idea that I could work for the school completely remotely (from home) and live in any part of North Carolina that I would want. This solved all the problems, right? I was ecstatic! But also skeptical. I had a bad feeling that the school did not really understand my conditions for signing the contract meant that I would be working remotely for the entire school year, and living in a city that was nowhere near the school itself. I VERY CLEARLY communicated these concerns to my recruiter, week after week, more than 10 times, through texts, emails, phone calls, etc. “Are you sure that the school is OK with me working remotely, even if their plans change with the COVID pandemic?” Time and time again, I was assured that I was guaranteed the position remotely and there was absolutely nothing to worry about. Then, at 9 pm on the night before I was ABOUT TO MOVE TO ASHEVILLE, I get a phone call from my recruiter, who very calmly explained to me that the school district would like to move forward with an SLP who can work in person. Like… my life is completely packed in my car, I am out thousands of dollars from all of my clearances, putting a deposit on an apartment, paying my first month’s rent, furnishing said apartment, etc., and I GET THIS CALL AT 9 pm. This is 4 days prior to the supposed start date of my “secured job.”Needless to say, this turned my life upside down and caused more turmoil than I can even begin to explain. I spoke with both recruiters involved who were unable to offer anything other than “Yeah, this really sucks, I’m sorry.” After asking to speak to the director, you can imagine my dismay to find that he was even LESS sympathetic. I mean, unless you consider a flat, emotionless “I apologize for the inconvenience, but unfortunately our hands are tired” as some sort of genuine remorse. The contract that I signed explained that I would get reimbursed for the cost of obtaining my North Carolina license, as well as 1k for relocation costs. I told them that this was the least they could offer me, being that I was not the one breaking the contract, and being that I was now responsible for paying a 10-month lease with no job. Their only solution they could come up with was, “we’d love to help you find another position, we have some openings right now.” Yes, that’s right… their solution to completely screwing me over as a company and showing no remorse, was to offer the chance to sign YET ANOTHER contract with said company. I have NEVER in my life had such an unprofessional experience with a company. What I have gone through, and am going through, still feels like a bad dream and this company has completely left me abandoned in the aftermath of this mess.EDIT: the response to this review about the VP reaching out to me - just another effort to save face. I’ve still heard NOTHING nor have I been offered any support or genuine apology from this company to “rectify” the situation.
I am very disappointed with this company. A recruiter contacted me with an opening for a school position. I let her know that I was concerned about distance of position but would still consider. When describing the position, my recruiter told me it was permanent with contract renewal for next school year. Because of this, i decided to proceed with the interview and was considering even moving if it went well. During the interview, the director notified me it would not be a perm position and wanted to “be honest with me” that contract renewal was unlikely, contradicting what my recruiter had told me.I was offered the job same day. My recruiter came back and expected me to have a decision by end of the day, which was very offputting as she knew I was interviewing with other employers and this is a major life decision. When I decided that the position wasn’t right for me for obvious reasons (no security, long commute) I let her know as professionally and graciously as possible. I also told her i would still like to be considered for future openings in districts that were more local and have longer contracts, basically positions that would better meet my needs. My recruiter responded extremely unprofessionally and claimed that she had told me from the start the terms of the position and that it was only short term (untrue) and no longer wishes to work with me or consider me for other positions. Very unprofessional, rude, unreasonable, and clearly not out for the best interest of the healthcare professionals she is representing. With that being said, I am disappointed to say that I am no longer working with Soliant. I would not recommend them to other professionals, as they seem to only be concerned with their own benefit versus that of their clients.
Soliant Health help me a lot during my job search. I worked with Olivia Mahler. she introduced me to the opportunity to work for Stanford. She is really helpful. She guided me since the first step, giving advises for interview, assist me with all the hiring process and timecard. She is the best agent I have ever worked with. All of her colleague are also really professional and supportive. They are located in TX when I am in CA, but I never feel any inconvenience during months of working with them. If anyone is looking for job in Medical Field, I strongly recommend Soliant Health
No stars. I sent my resume to this email posted under the job description weeks ago as well as several phone calls only to get sent to vm. No one has reached out to even acknowledge my interest, let alone the job posting. This agency seems to be a little shady, already showing independability.
Soliant Health is an amazing company to work for. Its the perfect environment for professional development all the while ensuring work life balance is maintained. I would and do recommend Soliant Health to all of my family and friends alike.
Applied 4 times....got 2 calls with expectations of a follow up call for interviews to interpret in Phoenix. No call backs...when I call to get an update...i am always directed to a voicemail. Then as I continue to search....there is a recsnt post of an open position in Phoenix 🤦🏾 unprofessional
Soliant has been a great company to work with!! My recruiter Paige is always very responsive and helpful with anything that I need.
I love this company. Joey is a kind recruiter and want stop until he places you at an assignment that suits your needs.
Company doesnt honor contracts or guarantees. Never worked for a contractor who wrote a guarantee in, but then refused to honor it. I wont be back with them, thats for sure, and I may never work in another school either.
Great company to work for and Terry Willoughby is the best recruitor, very professional, caring and very supportive in the process of finding the perfect assignment for you.
They have always be soooo good to me. Quay is my recruiter and he rocks! Again thanks soliant
Good, you all helped me get back in the classroom again.
Alden Hill is a liar. He is unprofessional. He set all these expectations and then didn’t follow up. When I finally reached out to him he made excuses then hung up on me. Avoid if you want to work.
My manager calls me and makes sure I feel supported.
Poor follow up with Case Managers. Payroll errors.
