Happy Face is one of the better Temp Agencies in Georgia. They place applicants quickly and and have high grade service. I had the pleasure of working with Latonja. As soon as I spoke with her she ensured my file was up to date and even edited my resume (thats a service people pay for). Latonja is personable and was communicable the entire duration of my placement process. Usually seeking temp jobs is caused by a pressure of urgency, because of this reality I am grateful that I called Happy Face. I cant say enough positive things about my experience. When I first met with them, they act nice and willing to help. The lady I met with, Rhea Thomas, said my resume needed a little help. I followed her advice and brought it back to her and she said it was much better and claimed to have sent my information off. Fast forward a month and a half. I heard nothing from her so I called. She then tells me that she cannot work with my resume. Why would you lie and say you can work with the resume, then suddenly say you cant?? Doesnt make sense. Then, she had the nerve to ask me what chance do I think I have in obtaining a job compared to other resumes? That really angered me. Its like she doesnt even care about the clients at all. I had them remove me from their systems. DO NOT GO WITH THIS PLACE.

Tom does a great job for our company, has found some great candidates for us and is very attentive to our staffing needs. Always very friendly and prompt.

A complete waste of time. I was referred to this company by a friend and its been a horrible experience. I initially emailed Tom Jones who gave me the runaround for about 2-3 months. Hes very condescending, has poor communication skills and is not helpful at all. After my last conversation with him, to which he said he forwarded my contact information and resume to a recruiter and advised me to wait for the recruiter to contact me...I still havent heard anything. Thank goodness I found a job somewhere else because this place is sketchy, at best.

The staff was genuinely helpful and friendly and were diligent in matching my skills and experience to available positions. Happy Faces is the best staffing agency if a person wants to get a state government position. Their hourly rate is higher than other agencies. Also, Happy Faces will pay their employees for holiday pay (if you work the day before/after the holiday)---no minimum hours worked is required. Wow….a great benefit! I really have to applaud Latonja Perkins on being an excellent communicator and focused Recruiter. On 1/18/2020, I applied for a job online at night and the next morning by 10:00 am, Latonja Perkins was calling me to meet with her about the position. That same day I had a wonderful 15-minute meeting with her. She emailed my resume to the client that same day and within 2 days the client wanted to conduct a phone interview with me. Within 1 week, I progressed to the next step, a F2F interview. Also, I saw another job that I informed Latonja I wanted to apply for. LaTonja submitted my resume immediately and I had a F2F interview with another client and waiting on the next steps. Latonja has great follow-up skills. She communicated ‘promptly’ about the job and will submit your resume quickly. She is thorough and detailed-oriented with wonderful people skills. As of the writing of this review, 2/8/2020 (3 weeks with Happy Faces), I have had 1 phone interview and 2 face-to-face interviews with 2 different clients because of Latonja Perkins. This is the staffing company to get you in the door for that government position.

Horrible company, rude staff, seriously you would be better off working at McDonalds. Contracted ended and was sent a email to not set foot on the premises then a few days later they call me to return my keys and uniform to the employer. Which I have no issue with but was confused about how when I was told not to set foot on the property. The woman I talked to was horrendously unprofessional with me. She was sarcastic and just down right hateful. All because I was following up with them since I was told not to set Foot there. I will always tell everyone how horrible this company is and to never work for them. They mess up checks all the time. And now I am basically being told they are holding my last check ransom until I drop off my keys and uniform. Yeah thats a really great way to make people happy. Also to anyone they hire in Dalton that job for the college is only going to last until the end of June. Because the college is not gonna keep any Temps after that time. So just an FYI.

Shortly after, I was placed on an assignment at a great company. Any issues or concerns I had was rectified immediately. Communication is great!

It’s almost laughable that the company name is “Happy Faces” Personnel. I recently interviewed at the Tucker office, and the environment was one of low energy. No smiles or genuinity from the staff—“Sour Faces” Personnel would be more befitting. I should’ve read the previous reviews beforehand, so I wouldn’t have wasted my time. It all makes sense now. During said interview, I was told a call center position would be available on a set date. As time passed, I received no follow up about this job. I had to call and speak to my interviewer to inquire about it...only for her to tell me it was all of a sudden unavailable. Was it unimportant to take initiative and let me know? In retrospect, I don’t even think this position was a real one- just a ploy to get my hopes up so I’d stick around. I can already see that they won’t be of any assistance and I suggest that anyone seeking employment LOOK ELSEWHERE!

My experience with happy face at first was great, but they promised false jobs, and the staff are very rude when you address something to them. They tried to send me to a job an hour away but I declined and the lady threatened to make me look bad by saying I “declined a job”. Makes no sense at all. I don’t recommend this company at all.

Though, I am looking for a job I dont believe I should be treated rudely. Working with Happy Faces (HF) has definitely been a learning experience. The highlight of this experience was and the most exceptional examples of humility and common decency came from Vanessa Canity on the day of my interview and the exemplary customer service and follow-up/through from Catherine Robinson. Ms. Catherine is truly a ROCK STAR!!!! The last six months taught me a lot about myself and that businesses like HF truly are most concerned with their revenue cycle and not necessarily the employees they hire to provide the contracted services to their clientele. There are many, many opportunities of growth for this organization around common business practices and talent management.

WARNING: LONG REVIEW (Please read if you don’t want to waste your time with this place, a couple minutes of reading this will save you a lifetime of annoyance!) - My experience with this company has been similar to a lot of others who have reviewed previously. It has been nothing short of TERRIBLE and a waste of time!! HF is unorganized and dare I say it, incompetent at keeping up with who they’ve hired for what position, what information they even have on you in your employee file, or who you even are. Its taken months for them to find a potential job for me and every time they say they have a position for me they asked me to come in for a 3 minute POINTLESS interview just to ask me pretty much if I wanted the job I already agreed to over the phone. When they finally found a potential job that I knew I was qualified for as I’ve worked this particular position in the past, they proceed to tell me that the organization decided to “move in a different direction” and offered me a lower paying job with a lot less hours to work. A day or two later the potential organization (original job HF told me about) called me asking if I could come in for the interview. WOW… I let the potential organization know that I was surprised to hear from them as HF told me they were no longer interested. Of course they were just as surprised to hear this FALSE information. It doesn’t end there… HF gave me a start date and practically forced me to complete background checks and drug screens before the start date which was about 3 days max. I did as I was told and went to the job (on the start date HF told me I should) which was FAR (40 minutes) away from my home! I get there and the organization says that they have tried to contact HF in reference to my HR documents, as they relayed the message to HF that I could not even start until those documents have been processed and received by their org (ALSO INFORMED BY THAT ORG THAT ANOTHER GIRL CAME THE DAY BEFORE AND THEY HAD TO TURN HER AWAY AS WELL)! I wasted time and gas that I don’t have to waste!! It does not end there. I called HF to let them know what was going on and one of their recruiters who I will not name proceeded to lie to me and say she forwarded all of my documents over to her supervisor and that she’ll see what was going on…want to know how I know this is lie? The drug screener let me know that my results would not come back for at least two days and I had only submitted to the test about 12 hours before my alleged start date so how is that possible? I received an email from their recruiter the same day I wasted my time going to the job stating “everything had cleared and I can start Wednesday” (which was the next day). 15 minutes later I received an “update” saying that I actually could not start that day as one document in HR still hasn’t processed. WOW… Then 30-40 minutes later I receive an email stating that I never completed the background check and drug screen at all!! Luckily for me I am very organized and make sure to keep all paperwork, especially when dealing with a working environment! I am at my wits end with this company! I have only given you one scenario on what I’ve gone through while being employed with this agency. SEVERAL OTHER THINGS HAVE GONE WRONG, but I’m afraid you all will get tired of reading. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME AND TROUBLE. Look for another organization to help with your hiring needs cause BABY this is not it!

Unless youre interested in working for the DDS for $9/hr, dont waste your time applying with this agency. I applied with this agency twice in the last 2 years and they NEVER landed me a job, nor did they make the effort. They lie and get your hopes up, only to never hear from them again. Oh and dont dare be proactive and show initiative by calling and following up with them weekly, they seem to be bothered by that. I mean, the nerve of me to call and inquire about the status of my job search. I did meet the owner of this agency my first time in the office and he was very impressed with my skill set and years of experience. His exact words, while looking at my resume no one with this experience and skill set should be out of work...this agency puts people to work. Then he handed me his business card and told me that I could contact him anytime. However, each and every time Ive called the agency asking to speak to him, the nasty receptionist with an attitude, makes it impossible to speak to him by always saying hes unavailable or that she can give him a message. I doubt he ever got the message because Ive NEVER heard back from this man. Its difficult enough to have to go through a layoff, but to then have to deal with an agency, who is supposed to be in the business of putting people to work, but isnt interested at all or doesnt care, as long as theyre employed, is even more disheartening. It makes you become discouraged by the entire job search process altogether. My experience with this agency that overpromises and underdelivers, has been everything but happy :(

I just spoke with Michael at Happy faces he said they were in a Quarterly meeting so thats why no one answered the phones and Wells Fargo had an issue on their end but everyone should be receiving their money before 5 today

This is a horrible temp agency to work for. The positive reviews posted are from employees working at the corporate office. Beware if you take the assignment at Department of Driver services the pay is 9.30. If you request to be placed on another assignment with hire pay they overlook you and ignore your request.

After feeling frustrated and feeling a sense of the agency mishandled my paperwork and false information I have to say that Megan personally reached out to me to rectify my issues and went beyond to help me and was very concerned and with that been said it made me look at the agency in a whole different scope. She was professional and very warming to speak with and it really helpme.

I was told I had gotten a job through this agency, which was supposed to be a 2 yr assignment and was more money and hours than my current job, so I jumped on the opportunity and left my current job only 2 days before my orientation at the new job, only for Happy Faces to call me mins before the orientation is to start to tell me that I need to leave without explanation.It was never explained why I was told to leave nor did they care that I was now without a job and a single mom around the Christmas holidays. I have never been one to leave a job before knowing I had a new one just as I did this time. And just as the other reviewer stated Happy Faces only lead me to believe they cared and would get me another job immediately but it never happened. I even met one of the owners whom told me, he was sorry I had to go thru that and he would look into why I was treated this way and in the meantime I can call his line directly and he would get me a job himself. To this day I leave him messages in his personal voicemail that he never returns. Needless to say, this company is only good for selling dreams of a great job but you are lucky if you get one for real.

Its like this company tries so hard to be professional but they are incapable of doing so. Ive worked with them before in the past but you have to be very proactive with them as they never follow up.

When I learned of Happy Faces & their great clients I called and was prompted immediately to complete the application and the on-boarding documents. Within the week I was interviewed twice and hired. I was given many opportunities along with much praise at the great work I perform for the company. I have not had a gap in employment and in less than a year I received a raise and an office. I am kept very busy, which is what I love since I am/have such high energy. There are always lots of smiling (Happy, lol) Faces that are so happy to assist in answering questions or directing you to the proper associate. This place is very very very unprofessional. I went to the office in tucker. Interviewed with a lady name Zalina. She loved my interview and resume so much so she set me up with an interview with the owner and the vice president. They expressed how they thought i would bring something special to the company. The owner assured me. If i did not work for them directly he would for sure get me employed somewhere. Sooner than later. He told me he would call. Never did. I kept getting the run around. Zalina had started working for another company. I kept getting sent to a lady name Vanessa . she hung up on me. So i showed up. And she promised to find me something. Never got a call back. I expressed my concern on the owners VM. No call back . they are TERRIBLE !!!!!!!!!!!

I am a person that automatically checks businesses, products and/or foods for their overview via the web. Therefore, I base my judgement on pursuing any future endeavors with what I discover. Hence, when I saw the horrid reviews for this agency I was very skeptical but I bit the bullet and I am glad that I did! Happy Faces has been spectacular. I was fortunate to work with Zelina and Edwina. I stayed in constant contact with them and they followed through! I was placed within a few weeks of working with them. They are encouraging and motivated to assist you with finding exactly what you enjoy. I highly recommend their services! Ask for Zelina!
