I have lived at Green Park for almost 2 yrs and have loved it, however I am noticing a change lately. The only complaint I have ever had is the parking which if you read reviews everyone seems to have that same problem. Lately it has been worse than usual as when arriving home I had to circle the complex for at least 30 minutes unless I wanted to park outside the gate which I do not want to and shouldnt have to . It would be a simple fix if at least one spot minimally should be two per apartment was numbered with apartment number that would solve issue. My daughters apartment complex implements this system and it works perfectly. We do have green park residence tags, however it is never enforced. I do other than that love the complex. I did notice this morning which is not the norm, but trash was everywhere so maybe there was a gathering hence the parking issue. Also there was breaking in of cars most they said were unlocked, however prior since I have lived here we have had nothing. It has always been very quiet and safe. I sure hope they remedy the problem because I do love everything else about the place. Super convenient
Wow.... just wow. Probably the best apartment move in experience I have ever had. Jose will seriously take care of you. He will go above and beyond to make sure that you understand what is presented and comfortable with everything. Coming from multiple horrible experiences this place is the place you can actually call home. TRSUT ME!
Living at Greenpark has been amazing! The management team is kind, helpful and understanding! The property is kept clean and I feel safe!! Going in 4 years and I have enjoyed every moment!! Your missing out if your not here with our hidden community!!
I am absolutely happy and very grateful I chose Green Park to be my home. This is my first time living alone and they made it really easy from the beginning. Great staff, and amazing neighborhood!!!
It was a pleasure living at green park. The grounds were always kept clean. And Jose is the man very fair and knowledgeable I would only recommend green park apartments.
Great staff and amazing pool! Love it here!
Green park is a very nice community. Quiet, clean, and nice!!!
I lived in GreenPark Apartments from 09/13/17 to 09/12/18.Pros: Maintenance men were speedy and polite, pool and fire pit area are gorgeous, rooms and complex have a great layout, and the location is wonderful and extremely convenient. One of the leasing agents, Jose, was extremely nice and accommodating.Cons:1) Multiple car break-ins (which were not all reported in the newsletters) and multiple home invasions with no extra security measures added after the incidents. I personally was robbed at gunpoint inside of the complex in front of the lit trash compactor that is only ~20ft away from the townhomes, and saw no action taken after the incident. They raised our rent and did not do anything to make us feel comfortable enough or safe enough to renew our lease. The cameras only monitored the entrance gate, exit gate, and a portion of the roads leading to those gates. The back of the complex had no gate and instead hosted just a traffic barrier between us and the back of the stores (Mellow Mushroom, Best Buy, etc.) on that side. People slip under or climb over the traffic barrier frequently.2) Pool area (which includes the main grills, recreation room, and fire pit) would close frequently without warning for weeks.3) Gates frequently broken and left open for almost a full week. When it snowed on two different occasions, the gates broke immediately, and the office could not be contacted for any information.4) My apartment had never been lived in before, but looked rushed to be completed as there was no toilet tank when we moved in, plaster was left on light fixtures, ceiling fans, door frames, and the laundry room door was not correctly cut so it would wedge itself causing paint to chip off after each use.5) The landscapers and power-washers were rude and regularly inconvenienced us and other residents by parking in areas that blocked incoming and outgoing traffic. Our apartments front door area (and many other residents) flooded when the power-washers redid the walkways. The front office told us they knew it was happening when I called in and that we should just place a towel by the door.6) The first property manager, Molly, was transferred after many complaints of racism were made against her. The second property manager, Michelle, was nice, but aloof and desensitized to the needs of the residents. Both property managers regularly sent out newsletters to residents in a demeaning tone as though we were children.7) The only security improvement noted was temporarily in the pool area after it had been closed down due to glass being found in the pool. One guard would walk around, especially when it was close to the the pools closing time, but this is most likely because the apartment was fined by DeKalb County for glass being found (they have to drain the pool and be reinspected when that happens). The courtesy officer was rarely seen and on the night I was robbed, he was said to be patrolling, but his car never moved from its spot as seen on the video footage.8) The trash area is regularly overflowed: boxes and furniture everywhere, bags on the ground and spilling out of the cans, and broken glass on the ground.
We loved it here. Would move back in anytime. Great staff, very clean, love the rules-kept everything looking new. Very quiet as well.
Check out my review on yelp. They could not get it deleted from there. Save yourself the trouble and stay away from this despicable place and people. They “happily” let me out of my lease after my review just to keep over $1000 of my deposit with a move out statement that makes no sense. And if my review is not enough, check the other ones. Shame on you, the people who hired you and your team Michelle. I will make more money but your hearts will forever be ugly. Good riddance.
It truly was an honor residing at Green Park! Friendly staff, respectful residents and great shopping centers in walking view! Id move back in a heartbeat!
I love living here!!
I moved in 3 years ago I was the first person to live one the 3 bedroom townhouse.I should have known by the second week there that it was not the place for me. First I had a mouse in my brand new unit that all they did was put down sticky traps for me to catch. Two days later I woke up to no heat in December only to find out that my heating and air unit had been stolen the night before. And things went downhill from there the only bright part of Green Park Apartments is Felecia in the office. There where repeated Car break-ins as well as apartment break-ins and security was nonexistent I never saw the police car move from the front. There was an armed robbery and a trash compactor and it is poorly lit where the three-bedroom units are. The entire summer our pool was probably open 4 to 6 weeks the entire summer the fire pit never works and maintenance are the rudest I’ve ever seen. Upon my move out a couple days ago while doing the walk-through I’ve never seen such pettiness and all of my life.I lived in Green Park for three years and paid $2333 per month I had never been late on my rent and for For them to tell me that I am responsible for soot around a smoke detector paint that was peeled off by my mosquito net where my alarm system was mounted on the wall was totally Ridiculous this is the worst place I have lived since I’ve been in Atlanta for the last 20 years.
Very lovely and neat appointment. My sister lives here and I totally like how well kept and organized they are . They have a pool, enough parking for cars and a little play ground for Pets . Lots of flowers and green
Green Park is an amazing place to call home. I’ve been here for 2 years and just recently resigned a new lease. The staff is great and always professional and helpful. Felicia goes above and beyond to make sure that I have a pleasant experience whenever I walk into the office. Although I don’t interact with Jose and Michele as often, they are both equally professional and demonstrate great customer service! The pool, gym, and grassy area in the back of our townhome are a few reasons why I absolutely LOVE living here! I would highly recommend Green Park to anyone looking for an amazing place to call home!
If you want to live somewhere noisy this is the place. I had very noisy neighbors whom I complained about numerous times and nothing was done. They offered for me to move into another apartment as if I was the one causing the problem and I wasnt the only one complaining. So if you dont care if your concerns are not addressed this is the place for you as for me I moved out! Although I can say they do seem nice when you are moving in
My experience at Green Park Apartments was Amazing! I felt like I was at a resort . The staff was remarkable and I will recommend this Community. My stay was lovely 😊
I am so pleased and excited to be moving here. Felisha has went above and beyond to make my move possible. Felisha is friendly, compassionate and very knowledgeable. Michele and Derrick are also very friendly. I would recommend this complex to anyone looking for a place to call home.
So far I love it. Ive lived in some nice places, but this by far feels more like home. The staff members are courteous and helpful. The property is super-convenient to everything. And most important, I feel safe. Its good to be home.
I’m sooo in love with my new home. Couldn’t have ask for a better location. I’m a new resident here and i’ve only been here for almost a month now. I would like to give a special thanks to Ms. Felicia for going above and beyond for me when she didn’t have to. I struggled trying to find a new home and while looking Green Park definitely caught my eye in the beginning of my home search. One of the first things I said to myself while looking online was “I wish I could live there”...thinking I would never be approved, I applied anyway. Felicia was truly heaven sent. I appreciate everything. Green Park has been nothing but a breath of fresh air and a perfect place to call home. As a single woman living on her own, it’s safe and secure which was number one on my list. The appliances are beautiful and the pool area feels like a resort. I’m more than happy. Thanks again Felicia :)
I have been a resident of this apartment since a year and have no complaints regarding the apartment services but I would want to express one of my concern with one of the esteemed individuals of this apartment, Mr. Hose who happens to be the assistant manager of these apartments. He misconducted himself (tried to touch without my permission couple of times which is not a professional way to approach) during my visit and with couple of my friends previously. I would appreciate if you take this matter seriously or the repercussions for these actions would be very costly.I would like to be an anonymous, since I am the resident.Hoping for immediate action.Thank you
Very friendly staff and amazing facilities maintenance. If you have an issue, they are quick to respond. Definitely recommend if you want a clean and quiet place to live. Shout out to Glenn and Molly! You guys rock!
Love it here!!! Love the pool!!
I have lived in Green Park Apartments for about 9 months now and I love it here. I live in a quiet building that always has parking. The apartment complex is clean, beautiful, and well kept. My apartment itself has new appliances. I dont have to interact with staff unless I have to retrieve a package and they have always been nice when I come in. Im hoping to renew my lease in October.*** I updated my review. I reduced my rating to 3 stars. I have since moved out of Green Park Apartments as of 2/1/2021. The experience in the apartment was good. However, when moving out, I had a balance for the water bill. When I received the information initially, a payment due date was not mentioned. If I had of known the due date before, I would of just paid it immediately. However, I received a reminder a couple of days ago to pay the balance by 3/1 or the balance will automatically go to collections. Due to some financial obligations, I asked the apartment complex for a couple of extra days until 3/4 to pay the amount. They werent willing to work with me. Its unfortunate when I was a resident for almost 3 years with no payment issues. It would have been nice for them to be flexible especially in a pandemic. Rant over.*****
Green Park apartments, is a great place to live, I absolutely love living there, clean, quite and I feel extremely safe and secure.Management has been wonderful, Molly, is great to work with, extremely helpful and always courteous. Jose has been also a pleasure to work with they make a excellent team. I would strongly recommend Green Park to everyone.
I moved in Sept 2016 and I love my townhouse! This neighborhood gave us the feel of living in a home with great benefits! And the plus is Tucker is growing and we are getting new stores. The team in the office is nothing but Great! If you have not stopped by, you should and check it out.
Ive been here since they opened. The experience with the staff has been Great. They have done a wonderful job of community events, activities, gifts especially when we were still under construction. They have resolved issues as they come about in a friendly, professional, tinely manner. Their care of the residents had been delightful. I am looking forward to renewing my lease. I am hoping our community does a better job of caring for this property. Keep up the good work staff.
I have lived here since December and have zero complaints, which is saying a lot as someone who has lived in over a dozen apartments over the years. The amenities are very nice, the apartments are beautiful inside and out, and the staff is always quick to reply to maintenance request. There is a fire pit, which is perfect during the winter and the outdoor grills are connected directly to the gas line so no worrying about being out of propane or having to bring charcoal. I plan to renew my lease.
Word of advice to possible tenants DO NOT LEASE HERE! THE MANAGER IS VERY RUDE! the other staff members however are very nice I am a current resident here. they now want to swab our pets for DNA which i find is absurd and i feel like it violates my pets! You cant have more than two visitors at the pool per resident and you all have to have a wristband which is preposterous considering how much we pay in rent here to be able to enjoy the amenities in which we waited well into winter time to be able to use but by then it was too cold, so with family in town I cant show off the community to them because I have more than two guest other than that the community is nice maintenance is very quick at completing request BUT I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND anyone move here unless they are a loner with no pet or have no need to entertain outside of their home.
I visited this place a week ago and Jose helped us and he was incredibly nice and explained every detail. Thanks Jose, thanks to you mi sister found a great place to live and plan to stay here for a long time. The apartments are beautiful and the staff is great, specially Jose! Thanks again, would recomend 100%!!
I have lived in this new community for about 6 months now. Very quiet community, nice amenities, friendly office and maintenance staff and convenient to almost anything. Looking forward to enjoying the beautiful pool and nice grill area in the summer. Would highly recommend this apartment community!
After touring apartment communities for weeks, I stumbled across Green Park. I toured this community and instantly loved it. The office staff is amazing; courteous and attentive. Looking forward to enjoying the pool and other outdoor amenities!
I moved into 1br apt in November. I loved it. Unfortunately, After only two months I have to relocate back home due to personal reasons. The staff gave me no problems as long as I followed my lease terms. I would highly recommend this complex to anyone. Great place to live.
We moved in to Green Park almost 2 months ago and LOVE IT!! The complex is new with beautiful updated appliances, the grounds are kept very nice, neighbors are friendly. Jose made moving in so easy and answered all of my (many) questions. It’s so nice to see people using the amenities, everyone loves to come to the pool and grill out, kids love to play in the grass, it’s has just been an all around awesome experience here. The front office cares about maintaining the complex, they just finished pressure washing and re paving. We wanted an apartment with access to places to walk to- there is a movie theater across the street, pizza, sushi and other restaurants all in walking distance. Kroger, publix, Target and aldi all around the corner. LOVE IT HERE!
Can not get any better! My fiancé and I lived in one of the townhomes here when they were first constructed last year. Excellent homes. Closet size def can be bigger. The community is really nice with many families that live here. Not a drug/alcohol infested scene. Really nice leasing office staff. Jose is one of the best people to work with. The manager Michele is also great! We only moved out due to work commute.
We visited this complex today and Felecia was working by herself. It was at least 5 different families wanting to view apartments. Felecia was very informative, professional and patient.
I moved out a couple of months ago and wasn’t going to write but felt like I had to share. I gave GPA a 3 because it was a beautiful apartment. Brand new. SOME of the staff was very nice and helpful. But all of that was overshadowed by Molly as well as other things but Molly was often times, unnecessarily rude. One day the gate wasn’t working (like many days, but I’ll get to that...) my mother and father, as well as a whole line of other cars behind them, were waiting to get in the gate. My mother gets out the car and lightly knocks on the window of Molly’s office and said to her “What are you doing? You crazy? Knocking on the window” which was extremely unnecessary. She appears to be very condescending towards African-Americans. I could include numerous unpleasant interactions with Molly that resulted in making it easy for me to make the decision to find another apartment after 1 year. There are way too many rules, making it feel more like a dormitory than a apartment.“Quiet Hours” start at 10. Making it hard for company to come over and stay because they have to be quite. Trash Can. I was going out of town for a funeral and Molly called me about the trash bag being out without the trash can, but I was also called at work one day for leaving the trash can outside after they picked it up. It’s a lose-lose with that trash can.Parking is limited.Gates were always broken. So much for “safe community”The fees are ridiculous. An extermination fee, trash can fee, Utility Reimbursement????. Just spending money on top of the 1000+ I’m paying.Walls and floors are very thin. The upstairs neighbors walked very heavy which caused my kitchen light to flicker. But again nice looking apartments.
I love this complex! The leasing staff is very attentive and always willing to help. I also love the spacious layout of my 1 bedroom apartment.
Amazing experience living in this Brand New Community. The community is very beautiful inside and out. The office staff is amazing . The best place to live in Tucker.
I just renewed my lease for another year at Green Park. I’m very happy with my 2 bedroom townhome, my neighbors, and the wonderful office and maintenance staff. Thank you Glenn, Michelle, and Jose - you make our community even better!
Green Park Apts are easily one of the worse apt communities I have resided in. It is difficult to determine what is worse the incredibly thin walls/floor or the lack of concern from the apt staff. There is consistent noise from 285 as it is directly behind the apt complex (to be expected) however, adding in the stomping, banging, throwing of items and loud music from the upstairs and downstairs neighbors living at green park has been a complete nightmare. Expect to be waken up out of your sleep on most week nights at 1am or later to loud noises from your neighbors that continues throughout the morning. Good luck finding parking anywhere near your apt building. There are cars that literally never move. There are not always notices that alert you when a staff member or maintenance will enter your apt. The staff is probably the least organized that I have witnessed when it comes to determining your rental rate, fees, etc. most things are done last minute. I can not wait to get as far away from this place as possible. The only real benefit here is the location. Which honestly is not worth it.
The apartments are beautiful and my experience with the staff has been wonderful. We worked with Jose and he has been very kind and helpful every step of the way.
Nobody mentioned that AT&T is the only internet provider here. It has been a nightmare so far not having internet when you need it. Because of the exclusivity AT&T is acting like they are doing you a favor. I did not have internet for almost a month and had more than 5 technicians try to fix my internet connection. Be aware if reliable internet is essential for you. I wish someone warned me.
My girlfriend and I just moved in. The apartment looks great and so do the grounds. Were near the backside near the interestate but cannot really hear it when the front door is closed which is really nice. The pool is very relaxing and I really love the location since it is close to the movie theater, grocery stores, the mall, and etcetera. The only real negative I have so far is that the parking lot can get pretty full at time and you may have to park a little further out in the complex at times but its nothing too major. All the residents seem really nice. The front office staff is pretty nice as well and helped get everything set up smoothly for us.
I love this community! Staff are friendly and the free coffee/tea is a plus! Very nice gym and pool area.
I am coming from New York and this is the best apartment I have seen and I have been trying to contact the office and send my application I am ready to moved please get back to me Thank you please contact my wife [email protected]
The property manager is very rude!! My application was denied, and I was told I had to wait 3 weeks for my Admin fee to be returned! I was never told that in the beginning, if so, I would not have applied. When I asked why so long? She slammed the phone down in my face! Told me that she was the property manager, the highest of the highest high, and that no one was in charge, but her- and we know this isnt true! So with an attitude like that, I would definitely not want this person as my property manager regardless of how nice they supposedly are. There is a level of respect, and it appears the property manager doesnt have any, and is in need of a interpersonal communication skills training!
Lived here for close to a year and a half, and it was certainly a roller coaster-- not a good one.Tl;Dr Unless you have big dogs and no other options, take your rent$ to another community. From advertised amenities (the pool, grills, clubhouse, fire pit) only being available 50-60% of the time to rude and passive-aggressive management letters to the community, Green Park may look pretty on the outside, but its been far from picturesque living here...I have never lived in a community that needs access to your apartment for inspections more than Green Park. In the past year and a half, I had to give access to routine maintenance at least 6 times. Once, I was expected to give unbridled access to my apartment for 2 weeks because the office couldnt give me a more detailed schedule on when smoke detectors were supposed to be inspected. Unreal. The dog park, for the first year of my residence, remained un-mowed and the dog stations are repeatedly left unfilled with bags, sometimes for days at a time. Not that big of a problem, except management then threatens the community with letters and emails about us being slapped with fees... (we pay pet fees and pet rent for the pet amenities... just maintain them. its basic.)The parking is a joke. If you live anywhere but the front of the complex, youve only got a 50/50 shot of being able to park anywhere near your building. They have started to tow, and they give out window stickers... but it just doesnt help. The real problem? There is not enough parking for building 8. Even without visitors parking where there shouldnt, there is simply not enough parking.Noise. Its a problem. Management does nothing about the noise. The manager in the office doesnt seem like she knows whats going on at all.. They brought her on months ago and it still feels like shes not quite learning the ropes. Countless times shes either given me wrong information or simply had to wait to refer to Jose.Jose has been great, probably the saving grace of the office, but you can tell hes had enough of the BS. From the tenants to his colleagues, he gets it a lot from everywhere, but he is smart and always kind and could do a lot better. Curious why hes not manager...Id give one star, given the number of other unacceptable occurrences (pilesobleach bottles leaking/baking on grounds after cleaning breezeways, cigarette butt and broken glass littering the parking lots for days uncleaned, numerous armed robberies taking place within the gated community, etc.), but the communitys proximity to Fuji Ya earns it another star. $1 sushi on Thursdays.
I am a resident of Green Park and the apartments are absolutely beautiful on the inside. However, the manager Molly is a complete nightmare. Unfortunately for Green Park, her attitude is terrible and will/have drawn away residents and/or potential residents. She has absolutely no customer service skills and treats everyone as if they are beneath her, especially the African American tenets. Please beware of the TONS of additional, ridiculous, made-up charges upon moving out. I am being hit with a bill for over 6,000 in order to move out. In my contract it mentions early termination of a 60 day notice ONLY. However, they will charge you 3 months or rent, as well as make you return the money for the move-in special and add additional fees in an attempt to fill a struggling, empty apartment complex. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere, where you will be treated with respect. My rent is over 1,800 dollars for a 2-bedroom and my stay here with Molly and Jose has been one nightmare after the other. I can’t wait until my lease it up.
I wish I would have found this property before signing a lease elsewhere. On a lighter note, I just referred this property to one of my co-workers, and she will visit this week.
Spacious, modern apartments at an affordable price! I was looking for apartments when I knew I was moving from Chicago to Atlanta. As soon as I saw these apartments I knew Id lease one.
Its a beautiful property and the staff has been great. I love living here.
I love it here and Staff are very nice and helpful!! Second year here!! Love it !!! Everything you need is right here!!! No place like Home!!
The complex is beautiful and management is generally very nice but It’s terrible for crime. Had my Jeep broken into twice along and my girlfriends car once with several incidents reported in the complex by the management here including someone being robbed near the trash compactor. We had to call the police frequently for suspicious stuff going on in front of our townhome. It’s a really nice complex - but you are an easy target being a nice complex on a dead end quiet street while paying a premium to be there. Would never recommend.Sidenote: we were also told by the leasing agent we were the first to live in our unit and that it was previously the model. Our nice neighbors told us that was a complete lie and there was infact a couple that lived there before us. Not a huge deal but why lie?
My best friend and I were interested in seeing a standard 2 bedroom as well as a 2 bedroom townhome. The Leasing Agent Jose showed us to the first apartment, shortly after we arrived in the unit he told us hell be right back to continue looking at the apartment. We waited, waited.......approx.15 mins. wondering what had happened to him we couldnt wait any longer so as we began to exit we saw that not only did he just leave us in the apartment he left the keys dangling in the door. We grabbed their keys and walked over to the office to find out why we were left abandoned in the apartment, and to get our drivers licenses that they kept in their office. We pulled on the door only to find they were locked. We couldnt believe what we were experiencing at this place...... who does this. As I reached for my phone to call the police to make a report against them for having our drivers licenses locked in their office my friend started knocking on their door again (with their apartment keys in hand that Jose left in the door) A lady walked over to the door and said were closed our reply was what do you mean youre closed, Jose left us abanadoned in one of your units and you have our drivers licenses locked up in there. She refused to let us inside, so, I said Im calling the police to report the theft of our licenses. She then quickly let us in, once inside we asked where was Jose? The most unprofessional idiot in the world, where is it, the man who left us in the apartment and she said oh he left for the airport What!! What do you mean he left for the airport he was in the middle of showing us an apartment. This was beyond unprofessional we were ready to just get out of there, these people are beyond idiots. We asked for our licenses and she said Im not sure where he put it. I said either you find our drivers licenses or were making a police report. She precedes to scramble trying to find our IDs while having a cellphone attached to her ear attempting to call the idiot because she was confused and incapable of simply finding our ID. We waited another 15 mins or more for her to figure out where the idiot Jose put our IDs. In retrospect I wish I had completed the call to the police so that we wouldve had documentation of their stupidity & unprofessionalism.Ive since made numerous attempts to contact their corporate offices, I left my contact information with the lady who initially wouldnt let us in the door and I left numerous voicemail messages for the person that manages there office. To date no one has tried to call me nor email me. Jose had my contact information and he never even attempted to reach out and apologize for his stupidity. And the audacity of them to write a phony blanket template response on Google is even more infuriating. And, from what I understand they have since promoted this guy to assistant manager- unheard of! What professional company does that! Jose shouldnt be working there, let along be a Manager. Do yourself a favor dont live at a place that treats people like this. Shameful and classless.
Felicia is super friendly and the best!
Great Location- Close to Virginia Highlands and Decatur and of course Main Street in downtown Tucker- Some of my favorite spots to hang out! I have been a resident of Tucker for the last 5 years and I am excited to move into a brand new apartment!
Very nice place to live. Molly the manager is awesome !!!
Would NOT recommend. Extremely poor rating. Management finally changed and got slightly better, but still not top quality. You cant use the gym when the front office is closed during holidays because they lock you out of that part too. They removed the coffee maker in the back too. Insane crime - by the trash compactor someone was robbed. There was a STREAKER in this complex and flyers and emails were sent out. Inconsiderate people living here leaving glass at the pool OVER AND OVER so pool was closed for over half the summer. Maintenance didnt even fix all the lights I said burnt out. Leasing office manager and assistants are very rude and dont even seem to care at all... You would think they might care to put the residents first. The trash you pay for monthly is very poorly run, and you cant even opt out. Honestly Tucker is terrible - pick a new city. All the restaurants around here suck food wise and service wise.
Great place to stay
Amazing staff and beautiful houses !!
Such nice apartments
Cool place
Love the staff
Ok
Amazing !
Amazing !!
