I was with Keith tonight and he was very fast at getting everything sorted. He took the time to explain all the concerns I had with the new Covid money and my recent divorce and how that would play into this years return. This is the first year of going into a place with the documents instead of going through Turbo Tax since 2015. Turbo Tax while nice and free does not allow for you to be able to take care of the college portion without paying extra money along with explaining what all the numbers mean. I am just a simple IT guy and dont really know much when it comes to these tax forms but Keith at Saylor was able to break it all down and help me through it all. I will be going back there with the next tax return.

This tax service really was honestly more than a headache than anything else. For starters when arriving we waited over 15 minutes to be seen (our appointment was at 3:30 we arrived at 3:25 so 20 minutes in all, I set stop watches everyone’s time is valuable). Upon getting into the office and starting the process I noticed that our social security numbers were switched so I pointed it out. Mr. Saylor stated he would fix it(no problem there) Towards the end of our appointment on the printed out tax form our social security numbers were still wrong so I pointed it out again and he dismissed it in a condescending matter, I do believe in all I stated the discrepancy four times. (Mr. Saylor also did not cc my correct email address on any of the correspondence, but my husband’s was thankfully). Fast forward to getting our final documents to look over, the social security numbers are still wrong 🙄. Understandably annoyed I call the office to get this rectified. My husband has to call back a short time later to give some more information and upon calling he can hear the woman who answered the phone say “it’s that guy again, I’m glad it’s not the girl”. Then after all of this we get an emailed invoice stating that we owe for the services rendered (we paid the day of). All and all we may have gotten a slightly better refund but for 200+ dollars, years of experience, and many positive reviews we did not expect to be dealing with all of this. We will not be back.

Keith Kolodsick is a true professional. He remembers clients and situations which provides a very welcoming and relaxed environment which typically is not correlated with tax time. Keith does a fantastic job explaining tax regulations, changes, and strategies to help streamline and organize tax season. I am a client for as long as Keith is in the business.

Like many others, I have been using Turbo Tax for many years. Each year doing my own taxes not fully understanding what I was doing. I am in the process of getting my finances in order and follow the Dave Ramsey program. I spent 2 hours one year trying to figure out my taxes on my own. It was a complex year and I had 3 different types of 1095s and multiple W2s. The new tax code had come in and it was just confusing. Keith sorted that all out for me. Ive been there every year since without a worry in the world. This place is top notch.
