The people at this location are amazing! Extremely friendly while also professional. I was there 4 hours. They were short handed. Luckily I had a battery pack on me to chill on my phone the whole time I wasn’t chatting with the staff. I observed how welcoming they were to every customer. Anitra and Monique were great. My car when it was done looked brand new. Jordan did my detailing and did an amazing job. Well worth the wait and money. I’ll be back!

Booked a detailing appointment and was told 45 minutes to an hour. Came back 90 minutes later and nothing had been done to the car. Waited 15 more minutes and no one had even started. They at least didnt hassle me about the refund. The entire issue could have easily been solved with any type of communication to tell me they were behind schedule, but instead I wasted nearly 2 hours and my car was still not clean.UPDATE- They offered to mail a package out for me that day and the parcel was never received by USPS. Im guessing that the person behind the desk threw it away. Still 1 star. Absolutely do not go here.

Great service as always. Clarance was right there when I pulled up and paid extra attention to the areas I asked him to make sure to clean.

The monthly Subscription well worth it. Two washes a day! Get a full wash the first time. Basic wash the next time. Never have a dusty car again. Shine all summer!

If you want a quick cleaning sure but do not get detailing. Made appointment was told 1 hr. Dropped it off told 2.5 hrs. Got it minutes before 4hrs. Left the wrong keys in the vehicle. Bird poop not there when i dropped it off there when i picked it up. Did not vaccuum the trunk. Still dust on the dash. Smears and smudges on of dirt on the paint. Plastic insides of doors still dirty. Mats still dirty i can kind of understand but would have liked to know before hand. Widows smudgier on the back side of car. Yes i paid for the best detailing and will be going somewhere else no matter how much more it costs. Wasnt worth my time or money. Photos attached. Also Jax i will not take you up on any offer to make things right i just dont trust my car there anymore.

I set an appointment the day before company vehicles to be done and they knocked them out with no problem. They were fast, friendly, smooth, and organized. Monique is running a well oiled machine over there! Monique was a gem and so sweet. Stevie J, our detailer, did a FANTASTIC job on our company vehicles. We will definitely be back!

The material has become too old that actually makes contact with your vehicle. There were strips of the material in the creases in of my car.

Fair priced for fair washes with the unlimited plan. I like the vacumes with compressed air stations. Lots of employees if you need help. Usually pretty quick even when the line is long.

My car came out brand new, they also offer interior wash, and if you wash your car vaccums are free. Also i like the fact their vaccums are hanged high, so you dont have to fight with it :) very Dynamic Crew

I made some nice change while employed there.

Car wash is Ok and close to my office but would drive down to Royal Oak to one of the other locations. This is probably the worst location for getting my truck cleaned. They barely wipe it off after getting washed and when I get to work you can see that it is still somewhat dirty.

I paid an additional $40.00 to have dog hair cleaned out, after my dog died. I left it there for several hours. They didnt even take it inside to clean it, although it was a slow, but very cold day. There was still dog hair inside when I came to get it, but it was too late (and cold) to thoroughly inspect it. By the way, there is a spot on their website that allows complaints like mine. I spent over 10 minutes trying to send it, without success.Update: Jax contacted me and made this situation right.

In town for the Woodward dream cruise, it rained last night and we needed a hand wash before heading over to Ford Headquarters for a car show. They treated our car as it was there own. Very professional, courteous and quick. Was in and out in 20-25 minutes. Thank you!!

I wasnt even able to get a wash because first they wouldnt let me get an interior and exterior clean done unless I was a card member and then I was about to get a regular wash and they wouldnt let me pay cash so I just left and I didnt understand why I couldnt do either one when it was a person that was servicing me not a machine.. but I guess all them do that now but I just think that is odd.

I want to say jax car wash is not the same. I now go to mr c. They are much better at there service with customers. Hands down also jax needs to go and see why Mr c is better. I will not go to jax any more 20 bucks for a car that is wet when you leave . Management doesnt care. Incompetent.

Ive been coming here for years, I gave three stars because they dont dry my car like they used to. I rather give a tip to someone personally that does a great job and not a group tip box for a terrible job with my car...

My truck was an absolute mess. I was embarrassed to even let them look at it. Every person was very kind from the check-in, manager, and detailers. They performed a miracle for me today and it was well worth the money. They were able to get impossible stains out, wiped it down clean. It looked like a whole new truck! Thank you all!

I paid for a detailing service awhile ago. It was sold to me as “never expires. we’ll take care of you .” I finally was able to bring it in today (I had a baby and we’re in the middle of a pandemic) and the employee was just plain rude. She said that she SHOULD charge me MORE because I wasn’t sold the right package given my vehicle (I drive an MKC - small SUV) but that she wouldn’t, she would charge me an extra $30 instead because of the condition of the car ($40 with a $10 discount). She said some people end up waiting to get the service and the car becomes dirtier- obviously talking about me. Why do you sell a package that never expires then ? Did not feel like my business was appreciated at all given my husband and I both bought packages and dropped close to $200. Will be taking my business elsewhere.

The manager here is super kind and professional! There was vomit in my car that needed cleaning and we were going to get turned away due to needing a membership or an appointment but she saw us calling other places and she fit us in to get my interior and seats cleaned. Employees professional as well. The interior came out super clean and smelled good!

My first visit to Jax. The wash was just okayish. I took the almost everything exterior wash and even after the wash, there were noticable patches of dirt, stains, all over the windshield, hood, doors. Could have been better.

Love the quality and fast work they do . Lots of packages to choose from. It is the only place I wash my car at.

I was there this morning for a interior clean & it was a great experience start to finish. Moe at the desk is amazing! Very personable & genuinely cared about customers and staff. Jess D. who did the detail work was great as well! Friendly & did a fantastic job. The other workers were also friendly as they passed through the lobby as I was waiting.I’ll definitely be returning & recommending them!

First and last time, bad management and customer service, front desk very rude, not good cleaning at all.

Detailing 7/19/20 Interior driver side and passenger windows still filmy/filthy. Trunk not vacuumed out. Little spots from whatever spray product they used inside the cabin were all over the dash and interior. Seats were damp and smelled like cleaner, so I hope they were done well and not just wet. The only reason I went here was because I needed a rush job. If you are Looking in the Troy area, call Maximus Auto Detailing service and make an appointment. About the same price, and real detailing done - as in detail-ing.

I can’t believe I ever wasted time going anywhere else!!! This is the ONLY place I will go from now until I expire. They have FREE high pressure air hoses for customers and their detailers will do a great job on your car if you have the club membership. It’s only like $22 for the month and they do everything for you. I take pride in my truck and I’m happy I found a place like this to make it easier on me to keep it clean. Thumbs ALL THE WAY UP!

I went to get the highest level interior and exterior car wash. The girl working told me they could only give me exterior service unless I was an unlimited member. That has nothing to do with safety and everything to do with greed. They are trying to force sell you into a monthly membership. I used Jax for years but not any more. Avoid!

I wish I could give it a Zero(0) Star. The unlimited club deal is a joke. Just a way to get you to pay monthly and for them to do little work when you come. Every time you come through it’s a quick service. Yes, it should be efficient but I shouldn’t be leaving with a dirty car with soap as the only difference than when I pulled in. Almost like a FAST FOOD for car washes. The customer service inside, the WORST. No eye contact from the girl at the counter, the lady manager did try to make it right after her condescending comments. But as they say, it starts at the top! Just looking to get rich on volume washes rather than taking care of loyal customers who pay their membership fees month in and month out. The best thing I did was canceling my membership TODAY! I take pride in owning my car and taking care of it. And these guys do NOT treat it that way and this review was after a few times too many! I can go own, when the guy at the wash entry tells you “I’m not going to power wash your car, what the machine does to it is what you get” - you know you’re in for an unfortunate situation. I’m usually respectful to old folks and seniors, but come on grandpa, if you’re not gonna do it right, just retire and let someone else do the work! 1 star service is generous for the service and experience.

This drive-thru wash scratched the paint on my car. I know the car didn’t previously have these small scratches and swirls because it’s brand new. I would highly recommend avoiding this car wash.

I would recommend getting the monthly pass it definitely the cheapest if you like a clean car. This location can be busy as hell but the attendants are on their stuff and pretty cool. Rather expensive if your just getting a single exterior wash.

Went there for my annual birthday wash. They were moderately swift vacuuming out the inside, and even though my car is a manual they drove it through no problem. However, my dashboard was still quite dusty and they forgot to towel off the outside. All-in-all I was rather disappointed. Ive had better luck with the Woodward location but their line was too long for me on that day.

They do a nice job with interior vacuuming, but I have never left without smeared windows on the inside. Do not buy the tire shine, because their application is consistently horrible, with completely missed sections. I always have high expectations, but for the cost of a shirt at Banana Republic, I am always disappointed.--Comment on Jax reply: While it is interesting to know of the plastic gassing, it does not address Jax inability to clean car window. I clean them myself, easily, with no special treatment.

Very sales-y on the front end. The young girl didnt need to call me honey a dozen times. Also, there was quite a bit of over spray on my vehicle. (From their tire shine) I would recommend that they apply it to a proper applicator rather than spraying the tire and wiping it.

Today was my first time here. It would have been amazing if the people charging you in the front ask if it was the first time for a customer and then give directions so that they know what to expect. When I reached the conveyor belt, I didnt see clear signage about asking me to put the car in neutral and handsoff steering wheel. Would have been great if the person at the beginning of the belt mentioned it or if the signage was clear way before entering the belt and youre covered with foam that you cannot read anything (again, this is my first time at such a carwash facility)The wash itself was decent and worth the price overall. Rating it 2 stars so I can get the attention of the management. Will of course comeback again klnow that I know what to expect :)

I have the jax unlimited. This wash is tight on space, and I just do not feel as comfortable going through, the wash system does not seem as nice as Rochester Rd or the University location. They were nice enough, there was no problems with the staff, just the wash was not quite as nice from my point of view. Not Bad just not as nice.

Dont waste your time going to this place. Their car wash was so outdated. It hardly cleans anything. And if you complain about it you get to hear from the MANAGER GABE we are busy..come tomorrow. Like I dont have a job. You can imagine if the manager is so rude the other employees dont even care because they have full support of their boss. One of the most unprofessional and laziest manager Ive dealt with. I am going to contact the general manager and see what they can do. Hope they dont act like GABE and give me excuses that dont even make sense.

My dad has been going to Jax Kar Wash for quite a while now and has even bought a bunch of full service tickets because he’s liked the service. My dad has me go to get his truck in for a full service yesterday and I got there around like 1:20pm, when I got there it was really busy and a few of the workers were a bit pushy and upset which I did not at all blame them for because of how ludicrously busy it was. The beginning I believe was fine and it didn’t take long for the truck to go in. When it came out and it was time for the people to wipe down the interior and exterior, I noticed that the people who were wiping down were messing around and throwing the towel at each other which also didn’t bother me because I could relate with some people I work with. I was in a hurry to get back home and left without doing close examinations, it was only after later that day that my dad was upset with a large mud smear on the interior passenger side door that is over a foot in width and just under a half of a foot in height, after looking further I noticed that a large portion of the right side of the driver seat was completely unwiped and the rear seats didn’t look to even to be touched, there was even a few more smaller mud smears throughout the interior. My dad seemed quite disappointed, he has had a few other issues in the past and there is no reason to get this bad of a job for the amount of money he pays for this service.

It was okay nothing special

I usually like going here and they typically do a good job. However, today it was not about how well they washed my car but how they treated it. The employee was finishing up wiping down my suv, as I open the door the speakers are on full blas . I just bought this vehicle a week ago and the last thing I want is my speakers blown. Whichever one of their employees thought they could pretend it was their car and turn the music on full blast should be reprimanded. Its not their vehicle. I specifically turn the radio off when I left my car so they can clean the touch screen without messing anything up. To me that is completely disrespectful and I will never take my vehicles here again

Damaged my Tesla front wheel sensor bracket and manager monek told me that she is not liable rudely and it is a Tesla problem. During the whole conversation, she said not a single time that she is sorry.Tesla owners don’t come here. It will damage your car. If you love you car, don’t go there either. We need to go somewhere they care for you.

Brought my wifes new jeep Grand Cherokee in for a wash had a first time coupon for the best $19 wash for only $7 so was excited to get it looking nice for her I got home to find the roof was still dirty the tire shine was blotchy and only cover 3/4 of the tires the car still looked dirty with water spots and on top of it I now have a large 2 scrape in the roof that was not there when we bought it a week ago..

My previous review was 5 stars and said, Always a great job.But they cracked my windshield and refused to admit it happened in their wash. 1 star now.I know someone else who had a previous experience where they backed his vehicle into a pole. They wouldnt admit responsibility to that either. Too bad.

I recently went threw this car wash with my family, our poor truck has been worked to the bone recently trying to re-do a house and it wasn’t in good shape. The manager personally went back threw the car wash with out truck just to get all the mud off! Way to treat a car right! It was fast, easy, and well taken care of. Our truck has never looked better.
