If you want to experience some Polish- European ambiance, Wawel is a wonderful restaurant to go to. I suggest there potato pancake appetizer, snitzel, and city chicken were all good. Highly recommomend you have an imported polish beer while you are here! Only thing they are misssing is Kuhnhenn beer.
Great place for hosting an event. So much great nostalgia to see, and the catering.... the food was absolutely amazing!!!
So Im half polish and half white, which is why I came to this banquet hall. I saw this fine young lady who looked like she was working very very very very hard. So when I sat down at the Polish party at my brothers wedding, the girl delivered the food with expertise and finesse. She wouldnt tip because she was humble, but I managed to get her name. Wikitoria.
Worked a few events here. Staff is very accommodating to vendors.
Nice Hall facilities, great service and unmistakable Polish food. Sausage and peppers. Potatoes, chicken and carrots.
Food is always good. Service fast and always pleasant
So very nice. Good food. Good service. No rush.
Simply the best food that there is absolutely perfect in every way
Great food, way better that the now defunct Polka. Very tasty, fast. Looking forward to the next meal.
Went to the Polish-American Sports Hall of Fame. 🇵🇱🇺🇲⚾🏟️🏈⚽🥅
The food was excellent. The staff was very accommodating!
Its a poker room, good dealers... though leaky roof, doesnt smell good, unclean chips, not much to eat or watch between hands.
I attended a small wedding reception at this venue that Ive eaten at before. And theyre doing a great job in terms of helping people be safe during this pandemic. The food was good was served plated and everyone at my table seemed to enjoy themselves in the meal. That was a lot of food it was delicious. Our servers did an amazing job.
The food was okay. The beer was good.
Great personnel working in the Polish center fun time every time you go there very well managed every affair Ive been to cant wait for him to open again or go to every fair I can whatever they offer thank you all the management at the Polish center
Awesome place to have a get together. The food was amazing and the staff was very friendly
Normally a great place, I found the communication for their paczki pickup to be sub par. I waited in a line of cars for about 20 minutes, only to find that there were two separate places for two separate pickup events. No one came down the line of cars to alert us to this fact. There were also no pickup instructions sent with the payment confirmation email. Even though this communication was rotten, I found everyone very pleasant and apologetic. So they get one star knocked off for this fiasco. YUM!
Great food. I will be going back for more.
Amazing food there. Just price
Easy and organized! Very friendly staff! Best Paczki outside of Hammy
Great old school atmosphere, amazing staff, best authentic food.
Food has really gone down in quality.
People were great as was the food and atmosphere!
Dinner was very good!

Beautiful Day For My Neices Wedding Shower ❤️ Staff, Food And Atmosphere Was Incredible ❣️
The food here is fantastic.
This is a very nice place to have meetings or gatherings. I have been here twice now, once to see a Candace Owens Event and the other time was to see Charlie Kirk. They have a very nice setting, a nice lobby area with sports memorabilia. They have a couple different rooms here which are spacious for large gatherings. The food that was served was delicious, especially the mashed potatoes and the perogies.
Amazing wait staff and amazing decor! I highly recommend the potatoes pancakes with the Apple sauce. The polish sausage was wonderful with sauerkraut. We ordered a large appetizer for the table and we couldnt keep our hands off! Thank you so much for giving us a fun time!
Food was ok. Service could have been better especially since there were only us and two other tables
This entire venue, restaurant and staff has completely deminished. I have been a supporter and patron for decades - until the obvious decline in quality and professionalism. Just before Christmas Eve, I had decided to give the American Polish Cultural Center one more try - it was horrific! If you are seeking high-quality Eastern European food and superior quality, simply travel across to south Maple Road - you will not be disappointed. I will never go to the American Polish Cultural Center again - actually, I will be completely surprised if this restaurant and venue is still in business beyond the next couple of years. Simply awful.
The food is delicious!!! You cant go wrong going here! Service was great! I would recommend
We had my mothers wake here. Food was ok, mashed potatoes were terrible, as was angel wings. Staff was helpful and friendly. We had to ask for soft drinks, and we did not receive hot tea per our food contract.
As always, the food was very good and plentiful. I love ordering the combo platter, so I have leftovers fir several meals. Just wish the lunch waitresses had better attitudes.
We love the restaurant, weve been there to see Polish dancers, & I love hearing the piano player. The holiday buffets are great! Would be gorgeous venue for any large party, wedding, etc. Beautiful building.
It is always nice to learn about of a cultures. We went to a Christmas party/lifetime achievement award Ceremony.
Food is great and you get a lot of it too.
The food there was absolutely fantastic. Its the place that you go to where you just want to relax and sit back and enjoy your meal.If you feel like getting on the dance floor and dancing theres plenty of great music. And if you dont like to dance you can enjoy watching the ballroom dancing .
I always have a good experience here. I have been to the restaurant 3 times and always have had a good experience with the service, and the food. I have also had my wedding reception here and man, did this place do an awesome job! Even if youre not Polish, you are welcomed here for anything! Such a great place of business!
Great food! So/so service. With only 4 other tables for an early lunch, the service was pretty slow. Cool atmosphere, older crowd. Ill be back when I have the extra time for lunch.
My annual stop for pączki.
The best Polish food Ive had outside of Poland (and it pretty much could have been in Poland from what I remember). Hands down would recommend!
Our family gathered last night for the marriage of Anne and Alan at The American Polish Cultural Center. The food was delicious from the soup to the kielbasa, kraut and cabbage rolls. The wait staff were very good also. Very nice venue!!! Large dance floor.
One of my favorites. When I am down in the area. Okicim beer. Only place I know you can get it. If you like beer, you need to try it. Polish combo. Words will not do it justice. Youll just have to try it for yourself
Nice place spacious rooms bar service available if requested for the event youre holding.. the particular event event that I want to the food was not that good.. Im sure you can select other types of meats evt to fit your event needs
The food was good. However the mixed vegtables were cold and the soup was cool. The staff at the door were very friendly and the wait staff were good. Restaurant is only open om Sunday. Would love to see Craft shows come back.
Great polish cuisine
Great place for an event. Its nice to have some Polish cuisine rather than The usual suspects often found at banquets.
Great location for events, wonderful, helpful staff, lots of free parking, great food.
Authentic Polish food, makes me miss my Grandmother! The dill pickle soup is absolutely amazing!!
Never been there but Herd very good food.
Excellent food! Excellent service! Awesome Manager who really cares about his customers experience!!! I am an Event Specialist & I direct everyone I know to experience this hands down amazing center! Keep up the great food & service!!
Good place for authentic Polish food! I especially like the dill pickle soup here. This is also a very handy place to pick up paczkis for Fat Tuesday.
Good overall keep. Service good.
Oh man, the food is AMAZING! Have yet to find something I DIDNT love, and I have been there multiple times! Also, try the dill pickle soup, it is Glorious! It isnt the fanciest of places, but it is still one of my favorites!10/10, will dine again soon!
Food is good. Family style meal. Dish portions of food are not enough for everyone at the table to get a fair portion. Server seemed irritated when asked to refill serving bowls.
AMAZING home made polish food and lots of it every time its fresh and u can always ask for more if you run out . The staff are polite and speak both polish and English. The building is big spacious they have a few rooms but they all open up depending on how big the party is ... the bartenders make good drinks and u can even feel free to tell them how u want ur drink made so its not too little or too much alcohol for your taste ... Ive been there a few times and Ive never been disappointed I ONLY have good things to say and totally recommend
We had a memorial service with lunch afterward for my brother. The good was very good and the staff was very attentive during our difficult time.
Friendly and helpful staff make it a pleasure to get tasty paczkis here every year. They arent quite as good as the fresh made paczkis you can get at some bakeries, but for 1.25 each, they are plenty delicious for most people. Im a fan of their custard, raspberry, and apricot fillings!
The perfect place to hold an event, or have a meal, or just sit at the bar and enjoy a cocktail. The people that work there cant be beat!! First class all the way.
Love Love Love this restaurant!Best polish food. Fast friendly service. Huge portions for lunch!🍴☺
Great Polish food great polish icons on the wall and museum-quality pieces of Art. The food is authentic and delicious and the wait staff are super friendly
Attended my friends High School Reunion. Very nice.
Not clean, had to wait for then to set up the room for us. Big Dried food left all over the floor, defiantly didnt get cleaned from past event. Disappointed
I am 100% Polish and I have never found a place that has good Polish food. Until now. This is the best Polish food I have ever had in Michigan. If you are looking for really good Polish food this is the place to go.
Great polish food such as crispy fried pork chops, kielbasa, kraut, soups. The best service. Great for lunch. Closed on Saturdays.
Fun, old world experience. Excellent food and plenty of it. You will not leave hungry.
Amazing authentic food. The servers are very knowledgeable about the dishes. We have been here many times with family and friends.
I went for a Homes for Our Troops benefit and the food and service was wonderful. Definitely a great place to eat and drink.
Great food. Peculiar atmosphere, in that its a banquet hall acting as a restaurant.Piano music on Friday nights! Also, fantastic paçzkis!
Best Polish food at a great price. A must go place.
Great facility. Beautiful; I loved the lighting; awesome dancefloor; the staff are very helpful. I recommend for hosting a classy event
Food was amazing. Atmosphere is fun but outdated. what youd expect. Server was great but a little slow.
Was here for my co-workers wedding. It was a beautiful hall and was a pleasure to be in. The only downside is that my husband and I didnt know where to enter in.
My husband and I ate at the restaurant part of this place and the food is awesome. We decided to hold our sons birthday here. The price was in our budget with 100 adults and 28 kids. For appetizer we chose potato and cheese pierogis and polish meatballs. We picked the dill soup, house salad, stuffed cabbage, kielbasa and sauerkraut, city chicken, mashed potato, and green beans. We also decided to use their cheesecake for dessert. Be aware, they charge $0.50 per person for dessert and another extra $0.50 if you bring your own cake. On my invoice I saw a charge and thought it was for having my own cake. One of the owners explained that it was for the cheesecake and not the cake. We had to pay an extra $70 at the end of the event. I would have omit the cheesecake if they had explained this in advance. Our guest loved the food, especially the dill soup and stuffed cabbage. The complaint we had was the dinner service. We were served family style because there was no room for buffet style. There were only 2 people on the floor when the food was being served. I noticed when a couple of tables were almost done eating, some tables had not been served with the main courses and sides. This really upset me. I could tell some of my guest were annoyed, especially the ones with children. I had to delay the main activity which made guest leave before the cake was served. So much cake leftover. I truly recommend buffet style or make sure you have at least 1 server per 2 tables. The bartender was the best. Shes the reason I gave this place a 4 stars instead of 3 stars. I wish I could remember her name because you can request employees.Overall, we definitely recommend this place for the price.
Best authentic Polish food Ive had
Good food slow service
Great authentic Polish food and it located in a museum of Polish culture. The walls are beautiful and hand carved. The menu has wide variety of choices. Many include a cup of homemade soap, I tried the dill soap. It like a potato soup, with a dill seasoning. Everyone that tried it, seemed to enjoy it. I had the Wawel Polish platter, which was a bit much for a lunch. It had a variety of their specialities, perogi, stuffed cabbage, meatballs, kraut, kielbasa, city chicken and potatoes. Other than the city chicken, everything was very good. I have had golabki, stuffed cabbage from my spouses polish family and there is as good or better. They have several polish beers on tap, the one we all had was the dark one and it was very good. I will definitely be back.
We went for the Fathers day brunch a couple of days ago. Talk about amazing food, courteous waitstaff, and just an all around delicious time. We will be back!
The service is terrible here on so many levels. They advertise it cost around 13 a person but after we paid 48 a person and that is wedding level. For around 30 people it was about 1100.00 - small drinks, cold food, rude women that think they are better then you, argumentative staff, unfriendly, no please thank you, dont know math try to charge you more at the end for people that are not there, the grounds are all weeds and not maintained, too many different people telling you what you can and cannot bring or do, English barrier- even though my fiance is Polish he thought the same thing about the whole experience. We were going to see how my sons first communion went before considering this place for our wedding in November of 2017 and they knew that- he said we are never going back there. Stressful experience. Especially when Kathy brought out a bill for people that werent even at our party. She said we had more? but that was funny to us considering we had a seating chart and we had a few people that couldnt come and we paid in full. Still charged us for 27 dollars but guess what I had to walk away from her and let him handle it. Him being an engineer can count and went over the numbers with her 10 x totally pissing us off. Never again! She ruined it for us and we will not be doing anything here ever. Also be prepared for the the English barrier. Our waitress addressed me about only having 7 chicken nuggets and I asked that is only enough for one child? I ordered more and she was like I dont know you have to talk to manager. I was eating so I had her talk to my boyfriend in Polish to get this worked out. I can understand Polish clearly and speak a little but she brought out 7 plates of chicken nuggets not 7 nuggets. That is exactly what I ordered we had alot of kids that like them.....dont understand why I would need to talk to a manager about chicken nuggets. Also the bartender left several time during the party and 2 young employees walked through the middle of or party laughing.
Atmosphere superb. Food could be improved. Salads with iceberg lettuce arent in fashion...more nutritious greens. Vegetables overcooked.
Weve been here for two functions and the service and food is excellent. The facility is also very nice.
We had a Fathers Day buffet. Food & service were good.
Great food. Service was excellent as well. Friendly staff and well stocked bar.
Excellent food and lovely lady hosts! Quick service with a smile in a lovely setting
Great food and service
