The Dean Sellers service department was great. They answered all of my questions. They provided me with a loaner while they worked on my car. Marion Sanders did a great job helping me schedule my appointment and checking in my vehicle when I arrived. The service tech was able to begin work right away so I could get me car back the same day.My only complaint is the online scheduling tool did not work. I requested an appointment online on a Tuesday and did not receive any follow up. I called two days later to confirm my appointment. Marion answered my call and did a great job helping me. Marion really did a lot to make my experience a good one. I would recommend using Dean Sellers service department.

Purchased a new vehicle 1st Quarter 2021 not only have had several issues with the Vehicle. I have put the vehicle in service repeatedly for the same issue “engine disengages When accelerating”. After several trips to Dean sellers Service department. I have attempted to get this vehicle back into service since July 23 (Over 2months) spoke with Ford Corporation & three customer service reps have helped me to no avail!It is a shame in today’s time that the very customer that bought a vehicle is the very customer that must take the concessions and be treated as if I’m a botherI’ve asked to speak with Liz sellers the owner as the receptionist was speaking with her and giving my name and vehicle the call was disconnected the receptionist says she hung up and did not return the call I left my information and still awaiting a call from Liz to hopefully help rectify my situationI purchased a luxury SUV and given the smallest vehicle for a loaner. It has been a terrible experience working with FordUPDATE: Liz called me later this evening (Very nice and Professional) and mentioned that this is a Priority and they will be in touch.

I contacted this dealer after having a horrible experience at another dealer. This dealership is clean, professional and knows how to treat a customer. From the moment Ivas picked up the phone right up to the very end when we shook hands, it was a fantastic buying experience. He was extremely attentive to what we wanted, found us exactly what we needed and for a fantastic price. It took a couple days to find what I wanted and get the paperwork in order (this was due to the horrible situation at the other dealer not to any fault of this one) and all the way through the buying experience, Ivas always picked up my call and had the answers right on the spot. My wife brought her 2015 Ford Flex in for service asking for an oil change and inspection because of loud muffler sounds. The oil change wasnt done and the exhaust system wasnt repaired. We understand the exhaust because there are no parts available but they still charged us $125 to DO NOTHING.
We had an excellent experience at Dean Sellers, particularly with our salesman Phillip Curtis in the used car department. He gave us a friendly greeting in the parking lot (the only salesperson in 2 months of looking for vehicles to do so), he worked with us to ensure that we were completely satisfied with the vehicle we purchased. He made sure the items we agreed on were fixed and the vehicle was detailed before delivery. It actually looked better than when we originally looked at it. It was refreshing after dealing with too many salespeople who seemed not to care and it was a fantastic experience. Great job Dean Sellers and especially, Phillip Curtis.
Dean Sellers Service was awesome! I got an oil change and tire rotation, and it was in and out in less than an hour. I didn’t have to call to make an appointment, the price was reasonable as well!Highly recommend for service!
The check in on a first come first served basis seems to only apply if you are staying and waiting for the oil change/tire rotation. Otherwise, if you were dropping off the vehicle, they were not definitive about how long service would take. That was frustrating.However, it still was relatively quick and the text updates were very helpful.
I went in for an oil change and Dean Sellers and their staff did a wonderful job. My car was serviced in a timely manner and came back washed. The staff was friendly while I waited and they had both indoor and outdoor seating.
I had an appointment at 11:00am to sign papers to buy my truck after my lease. In and out, right? I was asked to wait for a few minutes and was given a seat in an office off the showroom. At 11:40 I asked if I could be helped soon as I had an appointment for work at noon. Several asked to be of assistance, but the man I was waiting for had not yet completed the paperwork. At 11:50 I was taken to his office and waited while the paperwork was processed. After signing the papers (at 12:05pm) it was explained that the reason I missed my work seminar was because some man came in and would not leave, he just kept talking and we couldnt get him out of the office.Im not sure if this would have happened had I also been a man, but I was just a woman with a $34,883.00 certified check in my hand waiting to sign the papers to buy my truck.I will not be back.
They got on the job from the overnight drop off very first thing in the am and had the work finished by lunch time. It was what we expected for the repair, no unpleasant surprises, good communication. Loyal customer.

I purchased an used vehicle with this dealership and one salesman guy completely took advantage of me. This guy sold me a lemon and completely lied about the history of the car. I received a car fax on it, but obviously something was wrong because the car did not last even a month. Not even a month later, the car broke down. I had to get a loan for $4,000 to repair everything…. Never again. This was definitely a lesson learned on my part. Never go alone and ALWAYS take a man with you.
I was very impressed with the knowledge of my salesperson Kile, even though there is a car shortage, I literally visited 5 other metro Ford dealerships, I was given various appraisals for my vehicle and when Dean Sellers came below my highest quote from another dealership Dean sellers matched it, I made 1 call and you had the exact truck I was looking for and I drove the truck home the next day after waklkinbintobyour dealership, the most impressive point is the knowledge of the salesperson, who in my guesstimating was the youngest person there, and that impressed me and he was able to convince me to get back into the lease program which I had lost all confidence in.

I have had my 2020 Escape Hybrid in for 6 or more times for this error message System off to save battery, Please turn ignition off or start engine Each time I get it back, the message reappears. Now it comes on every single time I open the door, with the car off. I have taken to the blog posts and this seems to be a common complaint among Hybrid owners for the new 2020. A few people upgraded their 12 volt battery to a larger one to solve this issue, but Ford wont warranty that and it costs out of pocket around $350. This is obviously an issue Ford engineers have to figure out. Apparently the car cant keep up with the technology and gives this error. My biggest fear is my car will go completely dead and I wont be able to get into the vehicle at all let alone start it. Some blog posts have indicated this has happened to them. Right now my service advisor at Dean Sellers tells me they are awaiting more info from the Ford Engineers, meanwhile, I have a new vehicle that is not operating correctly. This needs to be escalated higher up the Ford ladder and fixed or rectified to a point that I dont have this message appearing (such as Ford footing the bill for a larger accessory battery).
From the start, this was the BEST dealership experience EVER.
I came in for an oil change and also because I was experiencing and clunking noise under my car. The service person went for a ride with me to hear the noise. When we came back they checked the underside of the car and found a broken strut. They needed to order the new strut and told me It was still safe to drive the car. The service person was very cordial and took good care of me.

Terrible. After 30+ years with Ford, I’m done. They ‘fixed’ my Edge engine problem 30k miles ago to the tune of 3000, but not want 7000 to fix THE EXACT SAME ISSUE. Dealer wouldn’t help - said I had to deal with corporate. Ford corporate wouldn’t help - said I had to deal with dealer. There is a service bulletin on this, so they know there is an issue, but the refusal to help a longtime, loyal customer is baffling.
I continue to have great experiences with the team at Dean Sellers. After experiencing problems at another dealership I started taking my two Lincolns to Sellers. The team is helpful, the service is prompt and affordable, and my vehicles are almost always ready in the time frame promised.
This was my first service on this car and in this dealership. I came in for a simple oil change and to have my tires inflated to the recommended 33 #. Although I mentioned this at check-in my tires were not inflated to 33 Based on my ford pass info and I was not given any reason why they were not inflated. Otherwise my visit was fine. My car was completed quickly and the waiting room was comfortable and empty for most of my wait which was a relief during these civic times.
I had a great experience at Dean Sellers Ford! I went in to look at a used Explorer and the one I went in wasn’t the one! George made sure we went back to look at their inventory and we found the perfect one! Had a lot of fun looking through their inventory! Big selection of used pre owned as well as new. I was able to get a certified pre owned vehicle with low miles, very clean, got more for my trade in than I was anticipating! They are also very responsive via text! If you need new vehicle, I would highly recommend!
Arthur always takes Care of me when I come in. He showed me how to use my Ford pass points for services like my oil changes. He’s always very warm welcoming and friendly. I normally just walk to my gym during an oil change but if i ever need a ride to my condo Arthur always makes sure that someone gives me a ride home. He even texts me updates or notifies me when my vehicle is ready for pick up. Arthur is the best !
I worked with Ivas to get me into a 2018 Expedition Max. He was quick to respond, very helpful, respectful and made sure the vehicle was ready to go when I arrived. Great service, they picked me up from the airport for free, and even when there was a little issue with it they took care of me. Would definitely buy from Ivas again.

Brought my F150 into Dean Sellers in Troy MI. I dropped it off the morning of July 8th and did not get it back until July 29th. It took three weeks to complete my warranty work (powertrain). I know they did not have techs working on my vehicle for 8 hours a day for three weeks .On July 22 I had to ask for a loaner f150, was never offered one. I feel if they knew it was going to take three weeks or longer they should offered a loaner vehicle from the start.I also felt at times the service manager and service advisor were un-professional. Service manager told me he would call me the next day and never did, just had the service advisor reply to me with a picture of my vehicle.One day the when inquiring with the service advisor telling him I need more then just my car is being worked on etc he replied with hes fixing your car, I am sorry I dont have a bunch to say other than that but he is doing his job and trying to get you your car back in running conditionIn that scenario I was hoping for answer like .. The tech is working on your vehicle, here is what he has completed thus far and his next steps are this etc.. From July 8th to July 22 I did not have answer of what was wrong with my vehicle it was only on July 22, that I found out it was the short block engine. Did not realize it takes 2 weeks ( 80 Hours) to diagnose the problem..... It got to the point where I was trying to figure out how to get my car to another Dealer because of the poor customer service.I would not recommend Dean Sellers to anyone for Service, and I would recommend that the service advisor be sent to a workshop entitled How to Handle Customers and How to Address their Concerns. When I did pick up my vehicle he said listen I know we got off to a ruff start but your gonna get a survey etc Well sorry Dean Sellers its 3 weeks to late, damage was done.

Long story short, I found it online and had the option to calculate my deal and send it to the dealership. I hit send and within 5 minutes I received a text from Ivas Jarbou at Dean Sellers Ford, asking were there any questions he could help me answer. I asked was the vehicle ready for a test drive. He said yes, verified the address and I headed straight there. I pulled up and he greeted me with keys in hand and a smile as I walked up. The vehicle was at the door and ready for me to go! Update: I have increased my rating from 1 star to 3 stars for two reasons: The first was the timely fashion that the management reached out to me to try to fix my problem, and the second is the help I did receive in the store (from Kile) was extremely above and beyond, and I don’t think that it’s fair to under appreciate him.One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a car dealership. Had to wait almost an hour for them to get the car out that I scheduled a day in advance. On top of that, after we had driven the car and looked it all over, the saleswoman (Erica) started going on about how my money would be spent better on another car if I’m just going to lease. If I have a car in mind I want to buy, it isn’t the salesperson’s job to tell me what I can and can’t spend my money on. Very upset with the customer service.

UPDATE: I was contacted by the manager and he arranged for dealership to pick up my car and drop off loaner to fix my issues. Definitely a different experience this time compared to last.LMade an appt for service and loaner car after brand new explorer with under 500 miles wouldnt accelerate and for scratches that were present when I bought car. I arrived to appt and Monty proceeded to collect all my info for the loaner. I uninstalled both of my full size car seats and then he told me when I was done that they were going to run the codes first. He asked me to wait 15 min. I was sitting at his desk and he showed me to the lounge which was filled with ppl (too many for COVID precautions). I chose to wait outside in parking lot instead. After 30 minutes, I went to see what was happening with my car. He told me nothing was wrong with it. I asked if the scratches were fixed and he responded that it wasnt his department and didnt know where the guy was that was supposed to handle it. I left without any answers and scratches in my brand new car. Drive past this Ford dealer and go somewhere else.

Service department attempted to charge me for a service that could not and was not performed on my vehicle. Had conversations with service advisors who were following dealership policy and cordial yet service manager was confrontational and combative. A gross local of professionalism and customer service. Will never go back.

Ive updated this to 5 stars because you dont have the opportunity to work with very many businesses that take ownership of problems and work hard to resolve them. This has been a really great experience for me. I tend to avoid dealerships. So far the repairs to my truck at Dean Sellers has been nothing short of excellent. Joe was excellent, and the text message updates are awesome.
I like taking my Flex for service at Dean Sellers. I get good service.this time there was a couple things I think they need to share with their staff.1. Try and give the best price possible by looking for coupons and asking customer if they have the ford pass. I told them I had ford pass and wanted the best price possible before any service was done. I got my price, asked if they checked out if my warranty will cover this cost, asked if my ford pass might cover this cost, asked if this service issue was a recall. had i NOT asked for any of those items, I would have paid over $2k. not good. luckily I asked to have them check those items.2.) I always use my Ford service credit card for service done to my car. Ive never had an issue on getting 6 or 12 months same as cash deals on anything over $250. this time I was told that I needed a letter from my credit card company telling me i qualified for this promo. thats never happened before and I wasnt happy because people dont know when their vehicle will need service. so a letter before service is not good. meaning. if i had a letter, and no service was needed then the letter was invalid. but now I didnt have a letter and my car needed service, but I couldnt take advantage of the promo that I always took adv of before in the past.. I was told the manager would NOT approve this promo without a letter.so not sure why I have the ford service credit card. I thought that was a perk.NOT happy with me having to pay another way.

Their post on cars.com seemed more legitimate than others, and the car itself matched the photos. I was a little leery of buying my first car all on my own, but Dean Sellers made it simple and easy. Although, I had brought all my car and insurance paperwork with me, so I managed to have all the necessary paperwork on my first visit.Service was very friendly and not over bearing. No stereotypical try to confuse the consumer for more money sleazy car salesman here.I stopped by at 5 pm and the only reason I wasnt able to get my car was my insurance agent closed at 5 pm. I was easily able to get the car the next morning.They also did me the courtesy of picking me up from the rental car place (located on the same block), which I thought was a very neighborly touch.All in all, I was very satisfied with my purchase. I was expecting some sort of trial to suffer through. Instead I was surprised by how easy it seemed.

Found a used truck Friday morning on Facebook Marketplace, sent a message and received an instant response and phone call from a salesman. Luckily I was matched up with Tom Hayes, he was very honest about the trucks condition up front and wasnt at all trying to push the sale. Drove out to look at the truck, was exactly as he described. It did have a few physical blemishes that the dealership will be taking care of. In 1 week Ive put 1,000 miles on the truck with no issues. Cant say enough about Tom... my credit union totally dropped the ball due to being swamped but Tom was super patient and stayed over an hour after theyd closed (on a Friday) to make sure we could get this done.
I have found that Dean Sellers is the friendliest and honest dealership Ive had the pleasure of going to. (They had to fix a mistake that Lincoln did on my Lincoln). They were timely, communicative, told me my options for servicing. Arthur in service was outstanding.I have been treated so kind by their staff. Arthur has been so awesome! I had a recall before the pandemic on my Focus for my transmission. I had to wait until they open things up but he scheduled me right away. I was able to take my car in and get a loaner vehicle. When I drove it home, it began making noises and more difficulties then before. I was able to record the noises on my phone, being my car back in and they are currently still working on it. I appreciate the level of professionalism and courtesy I have received. We are very happy with our purchase from Dean Sellers Ford. Ivas, our sales person, was wonderful. He was incredibly responsive but not pushy. He went out of his way to assist us and our busy schedule to get the deal done. He was also quite patient with me and answered my questions even after the sale was completed. They have great customer service, they have good workers...However...Be sure you have your papers finalized before switching your VIN. They told me to switch, I did. Got there and asked for an additional 2500. Now...Im not complaining about my deposit...But I am complaining they make it sound like its yours...Then ask for more. I dont have a perfect score...But I would have liked a call informing of the extra $$. I drove from Roseville to Troy...To be told...No. 👎 For anyone struggling to make ends meet....This place doesnt care to inform you of the extra $$. Just be careful.
