We have been returning customers for oil changes to this location for many, many years ... but no longer. Today we got in line for an oil change. There are two service stations and two lines. Both service stations were occupied and had one vehicle waiting in line. We picked one that happened to be slower. Other cars arrived and lined up in the respective lines. After waiting for about 10 minutes or so, the car ahead of us finally moved along. We had other things to do in town, so we were happy to move along, knowing we would be next, Out of the blue, one of the managers/workers walked up to our car and told us that we needed to move our vehicle because the truck that was 2 cars back was there ahead of us and that this is a first come first serve operation. Hello? Is that not the point of a line? If a car was there ahead of us, surely they would not be behind us! They insisted that the consensus amongst the crew was that the other car *** IN A DIFFERENT LINE*** was ahead of us and that we needed to change lines so that they could go ahead of us. Seriously, who does that? We were clearly there first and this guy was pretty much calling us liars in an attempt to accommodate the driver of the truck in the back of the line. We chose to go somewhere else instead of dealing wit their random choice of who gets to be served next. There are too many other places to go to for an oil change without having to deal with this kind of BS. I suspect that perhaps it was a buddy that they wanted to get in ahead of everyone else, but this was completely unacceptable. After many years of supporting this business, we will now take our business elsewhere. We ended up going to JLube and got amazing, friendly service and a free coupon for a car wash.. Never going back. And you should think twice before supporting an operation that does business this way.

I have been coming here for years and have never had less than exemplary service. The are polite and professional, work efficiently and neatly, and communicate the needs of your vehicle without trying to upsell everything. I’ve had just about every basic fluid and battery service here, and have been happy with the experience every time.

Amazing, efficient, professional, very polite. Staff showed me the oil filter and recommended replacement at NEXT oil change. I was also shown dipstick after new oil was added. Staff referred to me by name.

Sault ste marie location Some of them workers was down right rude they really need to be taught customer service my elderly grandparent went there and she does ask alot of questions she has a little touch of Dementia and one person came off rudely like yelling at her I just dont understand why people hire people like that they need to learn respect they totally lost my business

I had almost destroyed an axle on a vehicle by trusting another oil change place was doing the fluid checks they claimed they did. My husband sent me to Northwest Oil Express. They are wonderful, not only do they check all the fluids but also show me what it looks like so I can confirm if it is in need of replacement. They check my tire pressure, clean my windows, offer interior vacuum service, check lights and air filter, all at no additional cost. Plus a coupon for a free basic car wash. I wont take my vehicles anywhere else.

In between oil changes they top up all the fluids in my engine and check my tires. I love it!

Ive never been to Northwest Oil Express but they were so good to me! I dont know much about cars but they explained what they were doing and why they were doing it. They were kind, patient and attentive (even when I almost ran one of them over--not one of my finger moments) and they even have me a free car wash. I will definitely be visiting them again!!

These people are all about customer service. Right from the get go you are treated with courtisy and professionally. They did a stellar job servicing our car and even vaccumed it out. We were in and out in less than 30 minutes and the price was very reasonable. If u need an oil change or other minor service these are the people for you.

Fast service and did the job I hired them to do. However, not one person was wearing a mask and/or observing social distancing. I was the only one wearing a mask and I had no where to go. That put me at high risk.

I have used a lot of different oil change shops over the years and Northwest is one of the best. Their team is professional (the same people work their). They get you in and out quickly and are thorough with their inspection of your car to see if it needs anything else (air filters - burned out tail lights etc.). They even give you a free car wash coupon.No need to check elsewhere - Northwest is the best in TC.

I actually do my own oil and car repair typically. Currently Im really busy and sick so I had to take my car in. Its been awhile since I trusted any of my vehicles to anyone for anything, but this place came highly recommended. Well, I was extremely impressed with them. They were professional, courteous and expedient. They even offered to vacuum my car for free. I honestly cant say enough good about them honestly. If I ever need a service done on my car I will definitely go back, and I highly recommend anyone reading this do so.

This place is the best! Fast friendly service, if they see something else wrong they tell you but they dont pressure you. They also check all the lights, tires, air fliter, fluids, belts, and even vacuum the floors out for no extra charge.

Very Good service. Get your oil changed here. And then stop by as much as you need to top off oil fluids and tire pressure. All this with a view of the bay at the same time. Very nice!

Ive had my oil changed at several places around town, none can compare to Northwest! First time visit today and I was very impressed with their clean environment and friendly, courteous staff!! I got my oil changed, fluids topped off, windows cleaned, car vacuumed, 3 light bulbs changed AND a free car wash at Boone Street Car Wash! Did I mention I was on my lunch? I am a customer for life:) Thank you for the excellent customer service!

I used to hate getting my oil changed. Then I started going to Northwest Oil Express. They vacuum out your car while you wait in the lounge area not far away. Great customer service from people who genuinely enjoy their jobs. They are informative without pressuring you into purchasing additional services / products. They also gave me a car wash coupon. I will always take my car here for oil change service. They are friendly, fast, and no BS when it comes to suggesting stuff my car doesnt need, like other places do. I feel great because the price is good, they check my tires and other fluids, and even vacuum the car out for me while Im waiting comfortably in their waiting area, with free coffee. The car wash is nothing special, but it gets the job done. I always get coupons from the Golden Key mailers, so watch for those and save a little more on the oil change.

The team here works very well with one another, and they make sure you know whats going on if youre as curious as I was. If youre not as much as a gear head as some people are, they take the time to explain what exactly is going on in your vehicle. They also offer a car wash, car vacuuming, and many other things besides a simple oil change.

Awesome! Will now be my new oil change stop. Many of these other quick lube places end up bombarding you with a litany of upsells that are never needed and I always end up leaving bullied. Not this place... In under 10 minutes, I was in and out. That included me getting out of the car and sitting in their waiting area, them changing the oil, topping off all of the fluids, checking my air filter, checking tire pressure and a free car wash to be used at Boon Street Car Wash (which is my favorite in town). Seriously, the place to go if you need a quick oil change and where youll be respected and can leave good knowing your cars been taken car of. Well done!

This is the only place I take my car for oil changes in TC. They are always very fast and friendly. They dont try to push every little up charge on you. You can also go back between services for top offs. I have had nothing but great experiences anytime I have stopped in.

Always amazing service. Unlike other oil change places that always try to upsell stuff, these guys will always give a friendly and honest opinion and tell you which parts are needed or to hold off on replacing certain parts until the next oil change to save you money. Ive have been going to them for four or five years and always enjoyed their level of service without any problems. Two weeks ago, I was experiencing an oil leak after they had serviced it which turned out to be because an overtightened part had caused a crack. Without any argument, they looked at the part, owned their genuine mistake and paid for the part on the spot. Its so rare to find a company so eager to look out for their customers rather than their bottom line and I will continue recommending them as the best oil change place in town for years to come. Well done!

Wow! I travel and get oil changes all over the US and Ive never been compelled to write a review of one. Northwest Oil Express is so impressive, from the exemplary service to the cleanliness and waiting area replete with an array of snacks and coffee.While waiting, and watching the entire process, I had more than one staff member come over and give me a breakdown of issues, even showing me the very dirty air filter (which, sadly, they dont carry) and advising me to have it changed the next time I have my oil changed, wherever that may be. I really cant imagine finding a better oil change place anywhere. I may make it back one more time before I leave (Ill make sure to pick up a new air filter on my way there).

I have been going here to get my oil changed for years. I decided to only go here because of the consistently great service and honest advice. I never feel like they are pushy with trying to sell me things I dont need. Staff is friendly and the owner makes a point to remember people.
