I went once. Horrible attitude, bad service worst haircut. The barber i went to after said it was chopped in different lengths that did not make sense. I was polite and still tipped. I hope they do better in the future. I wont return

Groom Barber Shop is great. Its a very busy place. I would suggest you make an appointment. The last time I was there four barbers were on board and all were totally booked.As for the actual haircut? Got my haircut by Michael and he did a fantastic job, typically most barbers and hair stylists butcher my hair but Mike didnt. So thats really good LOL

I’ve been to this barber shop several different times and every time the many professionals on the staff have cut my hair, I have had a great experience every time! The atmosphere was light and the professional. I have had a different barber every time I went and I was more than pleased with every outcome! Clearly run by a well organized team that is concerned with the experience of the customer. It’s usually hard to go to a new barber but this was a welcoming and easy experience. Highly recommended!

I went into the shop based off of a recommendation and had an amazing experience. At first, the shop seemed kind of old but the atmosphere is very family-like. I went to the kind lady towards the back. She treated well and the result of the cut was great. I got exactly what I asked for, and she even checked on me throughout the cut, making sure everything was going well. I can see what the negative reviews say about waiting, but it was a walk-in so I didn’t expect quick service. Despite this, I was out of the shop in less than 45 minutes with an absolutely satisfactory haircut. I’m definitely coming back.

Don’t waste your time anywhere else. I have never had a better hair cut in my entire life. Besides the fact that I look like a million freaking bucks, Derek was extremely meticulous with his straight razor edging and the whole experience makes me want to come back even sooner than I’ll need to just for the pick me up.

I have nothing but good things to say about this barbershop and the employees who work here. I refuse to get my hair cut anywhere else because the time they take and the attention to detail when finishing up the hair cut is second to none. Unfortunately with my work schedule it’s difficult to make it down, but I called in today and they said they would be more than happy to take me in around closing time. What other barber could you say the same things about?

I was pleasantly surprised by this barber shop. At $15 for a haircut, they are competitive with the commerical barber shops. They have an attention to detail, and are very good at what they do. Be advised. They are cash only! They were nice enough to let me go to an ATM and come back though, no questions asked.

This is one of the best Barber shops I have ever been to. The place is very nice and clean, they always have good music playing, its a fun atmosphere. I have been coming here for a little while now and everytime I am always more than pleased with the way my hair looks when theyre finished. They always end with a straight razor shave, a cold towel and aftershave. The people who work here are very friendly. I definitely enjoy coming back here every month for a great haircut...... and Ive already recommended this place to alot of my friends. Thank you guys!

Ive tried most of the barber shops/salons in downtown Torrington. Most are acceptable, some are terrible (e.g., Cost Cutters). Groom the finest in town. The staff knows how to barber, not merely how to cut hair, and that makes all the difference. Highly recommended.

Called to ask if they accepted walk ins. The guy I spoke with says yes and asks me for what day and time. I say today, in the next 45m or so. He says yes. (2+ hours til closing time) I then tell him my husband only wants a shape up and that he has semi kinky, curly-ish hair. He says ok and then tells me hes going to put someone else on the phone...? Ok... A lady picks up and asks the same questions the guy asked me and i answer with the same replies as before and she goes no we dont have any available appt. today. Were booked. Said goodbye and hung up. Didnt even have the courtesy to try to fill him in or schedule another day.Really? Makes me wonder if they were really booked/busy or because he has different features then their normal customers... Either way, they lost our business completely. 🤔😒Id give them 0 stars if i could.

My friend needed an emergency groomers appointment for new years so he could look presentable for his girlfirend. We walked in to this Barbershop by chance and without an apointment but were seen very quickly. My firend needed a hair trim and a shapping for his beard. The man that worked on my firend was very friendly and professional. He listened to what my firend wanted even though it was a simple service he took the time to take make sure that the trim came out symmetrical and looked flattering with my firends face shape which showes a level of profetinalisun. Overall a comfortable, friendly and fun Environment. The hansome guys woking here are a plus as well.😳

Only place my 15 year old son will go. Here now without and appointment an they took him right in. Hands down best barber shop.

Says it’s open until 6 on Sundays but when I arrived at 5PM it said closed on the door and the barber inside cutting another guy just showed a “no movement” with his hand
