Company refused to cancel policy as customer request and when I called they hang up the phone. Procedures where followed and still didn.t cancel resulting in an over charge to my bank. Customer service very poor and unprofessionally. Be careful with this company that are not for services just for money. Complaint to CA department of insurance filed.

This is a review of the Insurance Company as a whole, not this specific shop.We have full coverage on our car and it was recently wrecked. We had it towed to a body shop and Mercury is refusing to pay for the storage fees. They are required to cover storage fees with our coverage but are refusing because they say the body shop charges too much. However, instead of taking this up with the body shop, they are saying we will just have to pay them ourselves. We finally got the body shop and Mercury insurance on the phone and they are now arguing with each other about the costs while the body shop has actually offered to refund us the costs if Mercury continues to refuse because they say Mercury ALWAYS does this to their customers and they hate seeing people get screwed by Mercury Insurance. The BODY SHOP is offering to help us while the INSURANCE COMPANY WE PAY FOR EVERY SINGLE MONTH is refusing to help.Mercury is trash.

Jennifer was very helpful when I called for an auto and home quote. She was able to save us money on these policies. I added two vehicles and a home and saved around 30%. She updated me with information through the process and returned my calls quickly.
