More than a review, a warning!Safety means nothing to super shuttle, and Karmel transportation.We booked and paid for an 8 passenger van. We were sent a six passenger van with not enough room or seat belts for all passengers. So, with no other choice but to miss our flight or to ride, the hour-long trip to LAX was precarious at best. Safety was not concerned for this company.

On August 18th 2021 I arrived at LAX. I was informed that they had no driver to pick me up. I am disabled, so being left stranded 50 miles from home was a very stressful event. After failing to pick me up, I paid 2 weeks in advance, this company offered no assistance whatsoever!!! Never, ever again!!!

Im done. The last time was a disaster. Stinky sham van that was late. Worst ride ever. And this was after paying $150 for an executive ride. Pffft! It was a fat slob in a t-hirt that smelled like a mobile locker room!

DO NOT BOOK! We booked a round trip shuttle to and from LAX a month in advance of our trip. The day before we flew home and needed the shuttle home they CANCELED our return trip and said take an Uber... for they return trip! They left us stranded at the airport and left us with the stress of trying to find a ride home after we’d booked and paid for a round trip. We may as well have driven ourselves!

Stay away from this company.On October 28th, I arrived at LAX knowing I and 7 other passengers will have a ride with my reserved van from Super Shuttle just to wait for 2 hours, then notified by the dispatcher that he does not have a van for me. No option or solution offered other than told me to cancel my reservation.If there is negative stars, thats what they deserve.

This was my first time using super shuttle and wishing it wasn’t the last. Making reservations was simple from the website. At the airport I received texts which were super easy to follow and which connected me to my ride with no difficulty. I can’t say enough good things about super shuttle. I’m really sorry it’s no longer in business after the new year as I would wholeheartedly use it again.

Excellent Service with a very nice driver who was caring and also a good conversationalist. These are owner operator vans so they take special care of them and great interest in how they are perceived by the passengers. I would definitely recommend using them.

I’ve always had great experiences going to LAX! That alone says it all! It’s always beneficial to have a driver who knows the in and outs of a “crazy traffic area” airport! Extremely satisfied every time!

Had a great experience with the shuttle pickup and drop off. Driver was nice and knowledgeable. We did get stuck in traffic on the way to the hotel, but not much you can do about that. Driver arrived early to pick us up, but communicated with us before pickup so it wasnt a surprise. Recommend. Will use again in the future.

Using the Super Shuttle App is awesome! You can track your driver live on a map, get a head shot of what he looks like and know his name before he arrives. You get confirmation text messages anyway if you dont use the App. With the App you can let your driver know exactly where you would like to be picked up or if you are going to be irresponsibly late for pickup which of course then holds the other ride share passengers up. Dont be Late!For reliable easy to use service to and from the airport Super Shuttle has the system down!

Excellent service. Contacted me when driver was on his way and kept me posted. When landing at destination there was a little bit of a wait but to be expected. I was given very specific and easy to follow instructions. I would highly recommend and I would use it again.

Great service if you don’t want to rent a car. They kept us very informed at every step of the process. Hardly any wait time at the airport and picked us up on the return when they said they would. Also kept us informed with recorded messages about what time the driver would be there to get us. Drivers were friendly and helpful and the prices were very reasonable. We would definitely use this service again in the future.

We used SuperShuttle between John Wayne Airport and our hotel near Disneyland and back. Highly recommend booking the round trip if required. They keep you updated via text on your pick-up day if they anticipate being late due to traffic and when they arrive at your hotel. Great service, reliable and friendly. Have used them in the past and will continue to do so. No disappointments.

I payed for my shuttle from LAX to Hollywood at 1am and the app said someone was coming and nobody did. Super Shuttle left me stranded at LAX in the middle of the night with no number to call. When I sent in my complaint they never contacted me or refunded me. Will never use Super Shuttle Again. DO NOT RECOMMEND

First time users travelling from LAX to our hotel in San Juan Capistrano. Our driver was safe & courteous (but could have driven faster to keep up with traffic flow). With two drop offs & traffic, it took twice as long, but okay with our flexible schedule. Return trip to airport was better with a driver who used the express lanes and got us to airport quicker even with two other pickups. Driver updates and notifications were helpful. Not sure how it compares with other ride services, but will most likely use again.

I would definitely recommend Super Shuttle. They were in contact through email and text letting me know who my driver was, his van number, and how far away he was. It was so easy to check in when I arrived at the airport and my wait was minimal. The driver was friendly and drove very safely.

Good service however the shuttle service is not available 24 hours as it is stated on the app (FAQs). It would be nice to have a notification saying that for flights after certain hours, the service will not be available so the customer knows before hand. It says that for some airports this is the case, but it is the case even for LAX - a super busy airport- so I assume the shuttles are generally not available 24 hrs for MOST if not all airports. I gave it 5 stars because I asked them to call me through the app, they did call and did not charged me for the trip, so I did not even have to ask for refund.

My driver was Serge and he was very pleasant and played the best music during my ride. He was helpful with my luggage and explained when and where my stop would be. It was an easy process from booking online to following the detailed text messages of where to meet the van. It was an improvement from previous experience. I recommend giving them a try.

SuperShuttle is a great way to get to LAX. They are prompt to pick us up, and they always get us to the airport in plenty of time. When we arrive back at the airport after our trip, the quick self-check in makes it convenient for the van to be on its way to pick you up when you get to the curb. They will always be our transportation to the airport! Great customer service, courteous drivers, and vans are comfortable and safe.

Excellent $, Reasonable travel time at rush hour and the new shuttle, uber traffic control at LAX. Driver relaxed and in control at all times. Tired travelers were quiet, except my partner who enjoyed describing the passing surroundings. Would definitely book again

Reasonable prices, for what you’re getting .($38, including gratuity, for 2 people, from LAX to our hotel near Disneyland).5. There really was no waiting. As soon as I arrived at pick-up area, the employees got me on a van, even though I hadn’t been assigned a vehicle just yet. They made a call, and got me assigned to that vehicle, and we were off.

I love the app! It is very easy to order a ride and to change arrival time for the plane if it is delayed. It shows where your driver is on a map so you know when they will be there to pick you up. I definitely recommend it to anyone using SuperShuttle!

I was nervous about booking through Super Shuttle because of reviews I had read. The limo was $100 more so we tried it. Couldnt be happier, so easy. Brandon was our driver very courteous and professional and friendly. We got an email when he was on the way and everything went smooth, will not hesitate to use again.

The process was affordable and efficient. We were impressed with the service for how cheap it was. Will definitely use this shuttle service again next time I’m visiting LA and need to get around from the airport.

We found the pick up station easily. Our pick up time was a little longer than we would have liked as the van was already at the airport, but we were the last pickup at the last terminal, so it wasnt bad considering. The van was nice, the driver was nice, and we had a very pleasant conversation with the young passenger we were sitting by. All in all, for a shared ride, I have no complaints and would recommend them to others.

My ride from the hotel to the airport was perfect. The driver was super nice. He had customers move so my husband and I could sit together. The respect for marriage piece is priceless in this day and age.That ride from the airport to the hotel on the other hand was terrible. There was 2 drivers and neither could get the drop off locations correct for anyone.

I used SuperShuttle from LAX to my Airbnb and back to LAX the day I left LA, and I couldnt be happier with my choice. Drivers are super friendly, staff was helpful at the airport. The vans were clean and the trip was smooth and fast. I had to wait a little when they picked me up in the airport but I understand: especially with international flights, you never know how much itll take you to go through customs and they cannot assign you a van before you get to the stand. But it was a short wait anyway and I was always informed via staff, email and text messages. The picked me at the right time the day I had to leave, the driver was very punctual. I will definitely choose them again when Im back in LA.

Comfortable, Easy, and Reliable is how I describe SuperShuttle to my friends and family. Ive been using them for 2 years now and it gives me peace of mind knowing they are around. Its easy to book, and the confirmation and follow up process is upfront and gives you all the details of whats happening. You can see a real time map of where your driver is so you have the option of not rushing out the door with one sock on. The customer service is also great but I already feel like Ive written a novel here, so Ill just say that Ive had only the best experience in every aspect so far with this company. You can also get mileage points with certain airlines when you travel with SuperShuttle.

Excellent service and reasonable prices with door to door service for south Orange County. Were repeat customers and have never had a problem.On a trip to LAX (on 6-9-19, early am) our driver got us there in plenty of time despite the 405 AND the 22 freeways being entirely closed due to road repairs and a fatal accident. He was ready early and their app showing his location worked perfectly.On our return from LAX (on 7-1-19, late evening) our driver was fast and friendly. The wait at LAX wasnt long and he made great time getting us home despite 3 other stops.

A bit pricey...$65 from John Wayne airport to LAX. but ride was timely and safe, door to door. Note that if you are not coming off a flight...I live in orange county and just went to John Wayne to get the shuttle...booking online is confusing. Whatever time you want to be picked up, just note that under flight arrival time, and ignore the details they ask about the arriving flight .

The driver was on time, Courteous, friendly and helpful. The van had enough room for our 6 luggage. The ford 350 was comfortable and had enough space for two passengers, my wife and I. Would recommend just make sure you schedule it so you take in account of the check in time. For us it was an international flight that leaves at 11 so I made my pickup time to 6 pm.

We used SuperShuttle for transportation from LAX to LGB and were very satisfied with the service! The ride was shared with other passengers so we were able to experience other parts of the city than just our own destination. The bus was full but did not feel crowded. The driver was courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. The ride was smooth and delivered us right to the front door of our destination. We will use the service again in the future. Thank you!

Booked executive service. Driver nowhere to be found. Called and after 1 hour of frustrating calls no progress. Finally I walked all over the area and found my driver. No apologies. On the trip from the airport the van showed many signs like: tip not included and I unwitting (after a 14 hour flight) paid another tip. On the way back the tip not included signs did not exist.I raised the tip issue with SuperShuttle via an electronic survey. They replied quickly. On that reply I upped the rating to 5 stars.The service itself is great. SuperShuttle are very responsive to changes in plans both on the telephone and via their app.

I can’t say enough positive things about this service. We pre-booked and ended up having troubles with our flights being delayed causing us to miss our connecting flight and miss our first shuttle. We were able to easily re-book for a different time. We had to change our time a 3rd time because our luggage was lost which took more time than usual at the airport. This service was so accommodating and helpful. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this service!

SuperShuttle was perfect for getting to LAX from Anaheim. Lowest cost and didnt have to worry about surge pricing! Since SS typically has more than one passenger, it can use the HOV lanes so we zipped by lots of cars. I booked in the morning for an afternoon ride.

Upon arrival at LAX I received a text message about exactly where to go. The message also included the van number making it easy to identify. They dropped us off at our relative’s home no problem. Upon leaving they sent me a text confirmation and a map with where the driver is so I knew when to be ready. Safe driving and he brought us right to the terminal. Really worst at lax you just book and wait for ever . This will take forever I waited 2 hours for even dedicated shuttle no cursory call, customer care and staff is very rude after 2 hours wait they said it you cant wait cancel .Request you all please dont get frustrated forever waiting booking at lax airport .If you land 11 am and your hotel doesnt have room till 3 pm go for super shuttle they will easily make you spend 3 hours at there counter

I was quite pleased and surprised at the service of Super Shuttle from LAX to home this morning. I only had to wait about 20 minutes for the shuttle and there were only two of us, so I got home quickly and safely. Cant beat the price!

Gave this company a 1 star because of discrepancies between charging people. After entering the car and speaking to the other customers, we quickly realized we had all been charged significantly different prices for going to the same place. One person was charged an extra $15 for the exact same service. However, since theyre the cheapest option I decided to give them another try. This time they texted me an hour and a half before my scheduled pick up time and canceled the service. This was at 2 in the morning with a flight to catch at LAX... pretty rubbish company all in all.

After receiving a cancellation text (with text slang) about 1 hour before pick-up time, I called SuperShuttle to verify the status of our reservation and was on the phone for over a half hour with countless transfers and multiple hang ups. When I finally got a hold of someone they offered only a refund and no solution to get us to the airport. We ended up having to get a Lyft ourselves which turned out great because they came within 10 minutes and were $10 cheaper. I will never choose this service again or recommend it to anyone.

Weve used SuperShuttle numerous times (both in Los Angeles and other cities). Their prices are competitive and weve never had any problems being picked up or dropped off regardless of location or time. I have no qualms recommending them to others.

We booked a shuttle to pick us up at LAX in booking we had to put in our flight info. I check in via the mobile app, was told what Pilar to meet our driver at and NO ONE SHOWED UP! We called dispatch (after calling 3 different numbers off various answering services) to find out it would be 3 hours before a van would be available and they could refund my money. I don’t want my money. I want a ride for me and my family home not sitting a LAX until 3 AM trying to get a ride. Never again and I will always discourage using this service that isn’t guaranteed even when paid in advance.

The app makes it really easy to check in at the airport and track your shuttle to/from the airport.The ability to pay online and include a tip also makes it easy arriving if you have no small notes or US dollars.I’ve always experienced great customer service and never had a problem using SuperShuttle.

We take the SuperShuttle from John Wayne airport to our hotel and return. I like that you give them your flight number and they are waiting for you. They tell you when they will take you back to the airport depending on traffic. We had to change hotel pick up 3 times this trip and it was no problem. I did it all on my app. Got the refunds and charged new ride to my cc on file. We had to go clear to LAX this time from Disneyland.

They have updated the process since I last used about couple of years ago. The online checkin process is great help as it gives you very precise info of you pick up location and the shuttle number. Very convenient, and great service. Highly recommend it.

Driver was 15 miles away at the end of my pickup window. They booked me for a time later than I selected putting me much closer to missing my flight. I ended up driving myself. I called to complain and got passed around from reservations to dispatch without being able to get a refund. I dont trust that the online complaint form will get me one either. This has happened twice in a row now.

I put in 15% tip and they charged 18% to credit card. I have been waiting a week for a response to Ticket submitted. “Update” After waiting 6 minutes this number is not customer care and they are not open for 2 more hours - funny the owner responded within 40 minutes ago, seems owner should know this pertinent information.

I used the shared-ride. It was time and cost-effective for my trip to Anaheim, CA. The amount I paid for my round-trip, to and from the airport, was almost the same amount as that for the one-way trip from the airport using Uber and Lyft. Also, I had mistakenly included the wrong arrival time and was able to change it 5hrs before my scheduled pick-up time with no additional/penalty fees. The boss driver arrived on-time and politely attended to me and other guests.

While checking in at LAX is easy waited over an hour for a ride. Dispatch is basically no help. I think they need to refine how they schedule shuttles. If you can avoid it would never take Super Shuttle.

SuperShuttle was awesome. I received a text to confirm my trip, another to let me know my shuttles vehicle number, another when my shuttle arrived and another as a reciept for my cash payment. The van was on time and delivered us on time to the airport. The ride was clean and safe and the driver was friendly. I couldnt ask for more.

I was new to area, service was recommended, so I tried it for the first time. It was so easy to setup a pickup and the driver was so nice and helpful. He actually called me to verify where I was located, which was just a bit down from where I thought I was! Haha... my mistake. But he was so helpful directing me to where he was waiting for me. You dont always get that kind of service anymore. And it was much appreciated!

Directions on navigating from baggage claim to shuttle stop were clear. The dispatcher sent text messages promptly. There was an attendant available to answer questions. The ride was safe and driver was courteous.

Once in the van, it went very well. The driver and the ride were just fine. But at LAX, locating the shuttle area was a total nightmare. I got lost, confused, anxious, and in despair of ever being able to locate my shuttle. There were no signs anywhere in or out of the airport. It took me over an hour to finally locate the area thanks to the kindness of other travelers.

They made traveling so easy and so cheap! I recommended to many others and they had never heard about it. Very great service! So much less than Uber and better on the environment to use shuttle vs individual Uber car.

This was my first time using SuperShuttle for my trip to the airport, then from the airport to the hotel and then from the hotel back to the airport. Their service is great, it cost a bit more than using uber or lyft, but you know there is plenty of room for your luggage and the plenty of leg room in the van for all passengers. The drivers know the airports really well so they drop you off exactly were you need to be. Overall great experience.

Unfortunately, the occasions for my using SuperShuttle have been to attend a memorial or funeral. The drivers have been prompt, efficient, and courteous. Due to the nature of my travels to Los Angeles, my trips have usually been in and out on the same day and, while I would prefer not to have used SuperShuttle for these reasons, I have been extremely pleased.

I booked through Shuttlefare which was a mistakes of its own... When I did get to the kiosk at LAX I found the staff dismissive and demeaning not only to myself but also to others. The driver took his hands off the wheels to talk on the phone while driving and while the van was not a wreck it definitely needed a good cleaning. Tack on it took 35 minutes to get a ride even though I booked in advance and you have a bad experience.

We were asked if we were ready to be picked up as soon as I powered up my cell phone while the plane was taxiing to the unloading but never in a pushy way. I felt like I was receiving vip service all the way around and it was super easy with the smart phone app to know exactly where to go to be picked up. Javier was our driver and was most helpful.

Not satisfied at all! I had booked a private van (i think it is outsourced to ExcuCar) from LAX to Anaheim. When landed i received a text message that my driver was waiting for us outside. But, not true! We waited about 30 minutes outside, very tired of a long flight. Called the driver 2-3 times. When i called the their dispatch, an answering machine asked me to stay on the line. After 10 minutes, i hung up since it was still beeping!

Easy to use. Reasonably priced and especially usefull when travelling to get from airports to hotels and back if you dont need a car.

We use super shuttle every time for airport drop and pickup,.. more over we use executive one too.. but this time the person was not at all co operative,. We were four(2 adults and 2 kids) with 5 check-in baggage and 2 carry-ons. The person who drives told us we cant sit in the front and I have to squeeze myself along with the baggage at the back,.. it was painful and no room for your legs too,. It takes about 1 hour to reach the airport,... even after requesting him too he didnt listen,. I dont know what the real reason is,. This is the first I am disappointed with super shuttle,..

I had booked a super shuttle service for a pick-up on 11/18/19 from LAX to my home. This was done about three weeks ago. When I arrived at LAX after 48 hours of very tiring journey, I called the super shuttle driver who did not pick the phone. I could not leave a message as his voicemail was full and wont accept any more message. Then, I called the dispatch service center. After listening to music for 10 minutes, someone came on line and told me that they did not have a vehicle for me, but will work on finding one for me. They said that they would call me within 15 minutes. I didnt hear from anyone, so I called again and entertained myself with another 15 minutes of their lousy music. Someone came on line and said the same thing that they were working on finding a vehicle for me and that they will call me in 15 minutes. This went on for another 30 minutes. I waited for a total of 1 hour and then could not wait any longer. So, I took the service from Lyft and went home.Please note that this reservation was made about 3 weeks ago and payment was made ahead of time.This service is a total fraud. The dispatch service center representative was rude and of no help at all. I will not recommend this service to anyone. Stay away from Super Shuttle ExecuCar.

We had 2 shuttle s booked. One came on time a the other was 2 hours late. We called and called and got in a big loop, no answers. We asked other drivers to help and were dismissed. When he finally came, he dropped us off at the international terminal at LAX. We had 6 of us including 2 small kids and 1 handicapped adult. Luckily Delta let us check our bags, but we had to walk some distance to get to the right terminal. Very bad experience. I will never book with them again

Great, great experience from LAX to our hotel in Anaheim!! Efficient and so affordable!! Great communication in all forms, emails, text messages and phone calls when necessary! Drivers were great! Thank you so much!

The share a ride Super Shuttle worked very well for me this evening. Drivers are helpful. I am happy to use them again in the future. The phone app works great too.

Worst company! Waited for an hour for my ride at LAX & called multiple people and numbers only to be told no one was in the area. After an hour of trying to get a van, when I had paid extra for a solo ride, they said it would take another hour to get a driver. When I said forget it & just refund my money, he just said good and hung up. Unbelievable.I wish I read the reviews before booking. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT USE!!!

Great experience. Uber wanted $45 for a ride to the airport. Im glad I was able to do it for half the price with these guys. Neal was my driver, and he was excellent and very friendly.

The driver was quick and courteous. The pickup and drop was on schedule. I use them all the time.
