Im a loyal customer for years. When my husband died in 2004 you helped me through it all. Im eternally grateful. Unfortunately after an accident this year, Im no longer driving and had to cancel my auto policy. But once again, Still an Am Fam has been awesome through it all. I have and will continue to recommend American Family Insurance.

Waited a long time to get one small item completed to update my info. Heard the same lame excuse “it’s on her desk to do next week.” Then they never updated my info accurately. Probably on her desk to do next week. Been calling the 800# instead Of dealing with them directly. Looking for new agent.

I manage my aunts business affairs, and Ive always had excellent service from this agency. In fact, it was my experience with this agency and the national customer service line that convinced my husband and me to switch to an American Family agency in our hometown. Truly customer-centered.

They have been able to work things out with us so far. Finally got my car insurance reduce. It went sky high due to an accident (my one an only) and 2 speeding tickets in a three year period. Unbelievable! I am very much a senior citizen and never had this problem before. Now it’s back down to somewhat normal. Good thing we’re not poor!

We have been on car and house insurance with AFI for over40 years but it only took 1 incident to cancel us. My grandson got up early and took his moms car and had an accident. No dr license 15 yr old Mom has her insurance already canceled because she didn’t pay on time. Understandably you could cancel her but you also canceled my other daughter and me because of it. I didn’t think that was right but i went ahead and canceled ours early and got new insurances for all 3 of us. we got all three cars insured with full coverage and roadside services for a lot less with GeicoI do still have house insurance with American FAMILY i used to recommend it highly but it may be higher than some. i haven’t checked on it but i am almost done paying for my house. At that time I may switch insurance if I can get a better deal.Larry Shipman has always vouched for us a good customers. Now his daughter Elissa is presently the office head and she’s been nice to work with it doesn’t know of us as well as her Dad. Judy Rohr

I was surprised how affordable our car/home-owners insurance was! The office staff is great, and always very helpful!!

Been waiting over 6 months for claim to go thru arbitration and haven’t heard anything, login to website today and it shows my claim was closed. This is highly disappointing if AmFam did not fight for my claim because we had police report showing it was the other drivers fault.

Ive had American Family Insurance Inc. since I was a young teenager with my first car in Topeka High School. And back than Im thinking that Kenneth Willard was my first Agent. Since than, I have the Shipman and Associates upon SW 29Th and Topeka Blvd. And I just think the world of them.
