The best! I went to Diane and we spoke about how I was going to surprise my fiancé-to-be. I selected a setting as well as a nice Canadian diamond and asked if she could adjust the setting so it had a slimmer sleeker profile. When I returned to pick up the ring it was perfect. Diane is fantastic! Last year she made two rings to go on either side of my diamond engagement ring. The design is beautiful and they fit together perfectly. The three rings would slide around on my finger so they were not always lined up correctly. Diane joined the three together and sized them so what was three rings is now one beautiful ring!Diane also sized two other rings for me, and made drop earrings out of gold charms that I had. Together they designed a ring that is beautiful and has lasted without any issues even though we are very active. We went to her to get our wedding rings. He picked one out of her selection and it looks great! Diane and I came up with a custom celtic ring using his mothers diamonds. I had an idea of how it would look but he would not let me see it until the wedding day. It is everything I could have hoped for. The workmanship is spectacular. My Fiance and I decided that we wanted to design our engagement ring together since we dont like all the trendy stuff all the big box stores sell. We had an idea of what we wanted, and we also wanted an oval stone. After consulting a couple local jewelers, we met Diane and never looked back. Diane is flat out the best there is in Buffalo. She designed an absolutely stunning ring for my girlfriend from a simple idea and made it look amazing and very sophisticated. My wife and I stumbled across this gem of a jewelry shop while scouring the internet for a place to make our wedding rings. You are supposed to make an appointment but we just rang the bell and the owner Diana invited us up with open arms. Wedding ring shopping can be a daunting task, especially if you arent sure what you want but Diana made us feel comfortable and confident working with her right from the start. We met with her a total of three times and the entire process took less than a month. The first meeting was a get to know you type of deal and she asked us to send her some pictures to give her an idea of the types of rings we liked. The next time we met with her we brainstormed and gave her some ideas of what we wanted, what we didnt want, and she took care of the rest! The last meeting consisted of her presenting us with wax molds of our rings to get our final blessing before she had them made. The prices were very reasonable and Diana made sure to let us know that she could save us money if we needed to stay within a particular budget by tinkering with the rings in a way that wouldnt even be noticeable to the naked eye. She even upgraded the diamond on my wifes ring at no charge, and we also bought two necklaces from her to give to our mothers. I will most definitely go back to Melting Point for all of my jewelry needs in the future, and highly recommend them to anyone looking for an honest, trustworthy jeweler.

I worked on a custom Design with Diane and was very impressed with the entire process. The process began by working with me and my drawings, brainstorming some changes and being very flexible with the elements I wanted to incorporate. We moved from that point to see the wax version of the piece. It was done well, but needed a couple change which were addressed ending with an excellent result. The piece was cast but, to nobodies fault the sizing was off considerably.. It was a difficult piece to re-size with a detail element that needed to be removed and remade by hand. VERY DIFFICULT work, and done with skill and procession. Im extremely happy with the entire process and end result!

I had a fantastic experience working with Diane at Melting Point Jewelers and I could not recommend anyone more highly.My husband and I reached out to Diane a few months before our wedding after being disappointed by the engagement ring that we purchased from an online retailer. She did a quick, initial appraisal and advised us to demand a refund from the seller. She supported us through that unpleasant process and, with the weight of her expert opinion behind us, we were successful in securing our money back more than nine months past the original purchase date.She then helped us evaluate our options for purchasing a new ring, educating us about what kind of construction and support a ring should have to protect the stones it is holding. I love the delicate style of a halo setting but had never considered the structural ramifications, and those issues were what had caused several stones to fall out of my original ring. Diane reached out to a supplier she works with on pre-fab settings for information on how well they are holding up, since halo settings are a relatively new trend. I should mention that she did all of this for us before we ever gave her a cent. Ultimately she believed that she could build a sturdier ring from scratch while still giving me the delicate halo style setting that I loved, and the price she quoted us for this custom job was on par with what several retailers were charging for a comparable mass-produced ring, so the decision was a no-brainer.At that point we were only a couple of weeks out from the big day, and in spite of having a fully booked schedule, Diane committed to having the new ring built in time for our wedding day. She met the the deadline as promised and it is BEAUTIFUL. The quality is immediately apparent and the difference between the ring she built for us and the one we purchased from a retailer is like night and day. I can honestly say now that even if I had an unlimited budget, I would not change a single thing. A family friend recommended Diane at melting point jewelers. I had a picture of a ring that my wife loved from her Pinterest account. Diane took that picture and came up with a beautiful design which repurposed another ring that my wife owned and incorporated the engagement stone and two new sapphires. She even put a CZ in my wife’s original engagement ring while the work was being done. The ring turned out beautiful, my wife loved it and was completely surprised! It would not have been possible to pull it off without Diane’s great ideas. Diane was very easy to work with and did a great job keeping the cost under my budget. The engagement ring is an absolute work of art. Being that my fiancée is an artist and that I am an architect I had a great aversion to simply buying a standard engagement ring. From the beginning, Diane passionately embraced this idea and – through meeting countless times – helped to generate ideas for the design and craft every minute detail. Diane’s passion, expertise and artistry resulted in a ring that, as I can’t help but say again, is a true work of art. On top of it all, I paid significantly less for the ring than had I gone to any chain jewelry store. Having the ring made by Diane was also satisfying because it supports another phenomenal local artist here in Buffalo.Needless to say, my fiancée was awestruck by the beauty and significance of the ring and we will treasure it always.
