Reserved my truck online. Day of pickup I was in and out of the office in no time. Dropping off truck at end of day even easier! Great place to rent truck! Will use this place again definitely!

I believe I was helped by an Alexa and her manager. They were extremely polite, understanding and helpful. They truly made my whole experience with U-Haul amazing.

The staff is so professional helpful and upbeat. It’s so nice to see smiling faces as moving is so stressful. I went multiple times for supplies. Each employee is so kind.They will give you a refund for any unused supplies!

Things were great until i was charged an additional $300 4 days after we dropped off the truck. Hopefully Ill be able to update with a happy solution.

Atrocious. Booked a “reservation” last night for a cargo van to be picked up at 10am today. The confirmation had an error in the time that I would be utilizing the cargo van so I called the 800 number to fix the error in timing. I was told by the very kind agent that I did not, in fact, have a reservation. Hmmmmm, then why did I enter all of my information including credit card info, location of pick up, time of pick up, expected mileage, etc? Nope! I had a “pending reservation”....Mind you, my plan was to take two buses to the location IN THE RAIN to pick up this cargo van. Had I not made this call to fix this timing error I would never have known this. When I asked why Uhauls wording regarding Reservations and Preferences, etc was so completely ambiguous the kind agent had no answer. Not really her fault...I blame corporate. Will NEVER do business with a company who doesn’t know how to KEEP a reservation only TAKE a reservation (channeling my inner Seinfeld and furiously writing in the air on a chalkboard that doesn’t exist) LIVID!

I reserved a truck with Budget because my online quote from U-Haul was a lot higher. But as the old saying goes you get what you pay for! On the day before my move to Key West I went to a Budget agency to pick up my truck only to find out they didn’t have one for me, nor did they make any effort to make it right even though I had a reservation. Frantically, my wife and I called this U-Haul location and Pamela Eckert went above and beyond to not only find us a truck but also a car trailer! Needless to say Pamela saved our entire move and we are forever grateful!

U-Haul is the best!! Every staff member that I have come in contact with the last several years is so accommodating, helpful,professional and friendly that I highly recommend them for rentals, moving and storage!

So happy I get to rate this place. Its the best best uhaul or any rental place Ive ever used. And Ive used a few. Its because the owner Athena was wonderful beyond words. There was a little issue with a couple of things that she more than made up for. Excellent customer service. She would make sure I left there a happy customer and I was. She went above and beyond. You cant go wrong there. Theyll treat you right.

Very helpful staff. Made sure I had everything I needed for a long move to FL. Even put new windshield wipers on the truck.

From my initial phone inquiry to my pick up and drop off, the staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful. They placed me in an appropriate vehicle and discussed pricing given my need.Not only do I strongly recommend that a potential customer use the services here, I will certainly be back. Huge number of storage units. Easy to get there. U-Haul Store on site for any related supplies you might need. Hours for outside access units are 24/7. The unit rental prices were a little higher than the other storage places in the area though. PLUS you have to purchase their padlock! They did give a Veterans discount of 12% on the unit and everything else.

If there was a no stars button it would have been selected! BEWARE OF THIS SCAM....when you rent a uhaul on line there is a box asking where you are picking up. We put in the Toms River location. There is also a box that says (OPTIONAL)and if you leave it blank they got you! Not only do we not have the option to drop it off at a location near us, we have to drive it back 100 miles and pay for the mileage on that trip! Apparently, if you do not choose a drop off location at the time you rent, they consider it an in town contract and the truck needs to go back to the same location. Spoke to customer service at uhaul. The first representative had the attitude of a contract is a contract. We called back while driving the truck back to Toms River at 10:30 at night and turned around 20 minutes into the trip because the second supervisor said she physically could not revise the contract but call the store and they can make the revision. So we turned around and came home. Today we called the store and the guy we spoke to said sorry truck has to come back and yes you will be charged for the mileage also. Not only did we freeze standing outside with a face mask and gloves because they do not provide counter help, but we did all of this on a cell phone. Had somebody helped us at the counter maybe things would be different. So we are returning their INTOWN truck with Arizona plates today.PART 2....drove an hour and a half to return the truck. The guy said do not check the truck in on the phone, I put a hold on the contract so Athena the supervisor can discuss the situation with you tomorrow. So the next day no call from Athena and I was charged an additional 294.00 for the mileage back to the store. When I called her she said she never got a message to call us and she is not revising the contract because my husband signed a contract and we are legally binded to pay her and she hung up on me!!!!

Good people but the truck I rented was not a very good one!

Those people are taking peoples money, someone has to read their receipt carefully. I rented a truck Saturday, they charged my card 80 dollars first, then I used the truck for about 4 hours then I returned it. Then they charged my card 93 dollars which was okay . Then after 3 days they went and charged my card again 80 dollars, they telling me it was for deposit. They are stealing people money. They telling me i have to wait 3 to 4 days before reimbursing the money. Why, i did not own them, they had their truck same day. It is really disturbing.

I have used this location alot in the last few weeks. Athena and the rest of the staff have been EXTREMELY helpful with everything. I Highly recommend using this location for any and all of your moving/storage needs!!!!!!

This rental this time was horrible first I reserved a 26ft truck ended up having to take a 20ft then I said I wanted it for 24 hrs I was informed that I had to have it back earlier ( rented it at 1030am had to have it back before 8am ) had to empty truck all over at peoples houses just so I could get truck back returned truck at 830pm then next morning got a phone call accusing me of stealing the truck they said they dont see the truck in the lot and couldnt find the keys which all the needed to do is open there eyes and look and they would have seen it come on its over 20ft long I have rented trucks from them many times a year and they are getting worst than ever I will never use uhaul again I get better deals with budget and Penske my advise is dont use uhaul and save time money and stress and false accusations

First time renting a 6x12 cargo trailer the staff very friendly and helpful

Called ahead to reserve my truck. Everything was ready and waiting. The woman was very prompt and courteous and answered all my questions. I hope i dont have to move for a while but will definitely call them again when i do. Reasonably priced as well.

These professionals helped me above and beyond .I rented a motorcycle trailer, and when I went to attach it I couldnt switch the hitch out due to a rusted trailer hitch pin. Their team cut the hitch pin off, and offered me a replacement. I was impressed by there eagerness to assist me. I am very pleased with this team!

Helped my cousin load and unload. The door was broken and you cannot see inside the units bc there is no lighting. Also there is a HUGE dip that you canNOT avoid when bring stuff in or out. Why is this not fixed at a storage place where people are making trips in and out all day?

My husband and I recently got a hitch installed on our Jeep at this location and I would recommend this location to anyone again and again. The man who installed it for us was nothing but extremely friendly and helpful.

Giving 4 stars because the gentleman that worked with me throughout my rental was very professional and hard working, where this location loses a star in the women I talk on the phone almost seemed annoyed with me on more then one occasion. Thank you for the rental. All in all I would return to this location.

I got a hitch installed at this uhaul. Only three stars because of the headache caused by the U-Haul corporation. Everytime I called I was directed to the call center .. after 40 minutes on my first call I was given an appointment date, time, and price. All of that information was wrong when I went for the installation. I made a new appointment with the actual people who work there for the following week. When I got there I found out that the price quote I received was also wrong. The workers did a good job and fixed the price for me but what a headache.
