Awesome place! Needed a utility trailer, called a few days early, and they had it prepped and ready as soon as I arrived. Staff is extremely friendly and courteous. I dealt with Mark Blue who was a very honest and straight forward salesman. Guided me through all the steps, and gave me all the information I needed to know about purchasing my Big Tex 30SA 10 trailer. Even threw in a couple of discounted accessories with my trailer purchase. They are stocked with all kinds of accessories for all your trailer needs. I would definitely recommend this place...

I been a parts customer for years. When I needed a new trailer Hecht was my first stop. I knew the pandemic made new trailers hard to get but Mark Blue at Hecht checked with the factory and got me the EXACT trailer configuration I wanted in LESS THAN A WEEK at a price lower than I expected. I expected to wait months!

The lady who works the parts counter is terrible, bad attitude most of the time, i now drive 45 minutes to mount holly to get my trailer needs and i live near the toms river store, she must be related to the owner since anybody else would be fired.

I was needing a brake controller to allow my truck to be able to work with electric over Hydraulic breaks and everyone else said it wasnt possible, but they knew what I needed. Hecht trailer installed E-Track on my Brand New High End Bravo Trailer walls (both sides). Used screws too long and put screws into 6 panels. After giving them 4 months time to fix it like to new condition, they used damaged panels and scratched the adjacent panel.Tracy the service manager promised it would be repaired like new and lied about it. Would anyone like to hear her lying mouth on video or all phone calls? Stay away from this company!!

Rented an enclosed trailer from Hecht and everything from the helpfulness of the staff and the quality of the trailer was great. The trailer had e track along the walls and the floor allowing me to secure everything (something uhaul trailer do not offer). I did not have the right size ball to pull the trailer so not only did they let me borrow one they installed it for us as well. They had a huge selection of trailer parts and accessories in the showroom as well. Overall great experience. Will definitely be back sometime in the future

After dealing with Campers World in Lakewood and not having them be able to put tires on my RV for 2 days, I decided to go to Hecht Trailers. Best Decision I have ever made! Price was good and service was perfect. They got my tires on within 30 mins!!!

They are the most crooked business in the area. They change their prices several times during the deal. Buyers be aware. Dont deal with them, especially scummy salesman Bill.

Every dealing Ive had with Hecht Trailer has been great. There was no pressure in buying and all the available options between choices were explained, making decision making easy.Cant say enough about the service department. Called late in the afternoon with a non-working taillight and told to come in the next day. Billy was fantastic, fixing my problem quickly.I would definitely purchase from them again in the future. If you need a trailer, theres only one place to go and thats Hecht.

Had to change from 5 stars to 1 star. I was happy with the service I had been getting, spent a lot of money there, and they got me financed on a new trailer.Had a hit and run by a Tractor Trailer that totaled the trailer friends rented from Hecht, now Hecht is trying to make me pay more than twice what the 2005 trailer was worth. My insurance paid them a grand so they made out. Lost respect for them, and it looks like I wont be doing business there any more. Looks like I will have to get a layer since they are threatening legal action, and Ill be turning over the harassing voice mails left on my cell number.

Owning a company that owns & operates close to 1/2 a dozen trailers, I can tell you between Heather & Bill in parts and Garrett and his team in service Hecht Trailers is far above the competition. I have just recently completed spring service on all of my equipment and knowing the folks at Hecht Trailer have given everything a once over and ensured my trailers were ready for the busy season is a huge peace of mind. I visted this this location in Toms River recently. They had a great selection and options. The sales man i talked to was nice but there where a few issues. Customer service was lacking i was told to go look on my own... okay. Was told wouldnt discount or negotiate cause the units i was looking at where brand new.... brand new from okay. Prices where pretty high compared to when i asked a friend to do a Factory custom order... All in all i came all the way down there on a raining day to look for a unit on site cause i really didnt want to wait for an order unit. I guess ill just keep looking around order one direct.

Loved the trailer...delivery and pick up was smooth. Returned the trailer and then 3 months later they charged my debit card in error. Now I am still trying to get my money back since 11/10/17 today is the 13th...still no $$. They said it was a billing error...now I have to file theft charges against them. Make sure if you pay by debit or credit card they delete your info from their billing system.

Pretty much the only local place for trailers. I was disappointed when I brought a hitch in to get a tab welded for an anti-sway attachment. Not only did they not weld, the guy behind the service counter didnt even know what it was for.

Oh my god the most annoying phone experience of my life. They have ads plastered all over craigslist and the call service is extremely frustrating. Ive called all the numbers and have gotten no where. I wish they had a real number with a human to talk to.I wish they didnt plaster all over craigslist and then not answer their phones.

Went to Hecht Trailer on August 30, 2017, to see about getting a hitch receiver for my Audi Q7. Gentleman there was was helping a woman with the purchase of a bike rack, several employees walking around ignoring my presence while I was only other customer in the building. Finally asked a guy for help and was told I had to see the gentleman helping the woman with the bike rack. During this period of time there was a woman wandering around (some kind of boss, probably related to the owner) doing absolutely nothing. It ultimately was my turn (more customers were now waiting for help) and I asked the guy if he could install a hitch on the Q7 and he said he didnt think they install hitches on foreign cars despite the fact that the woman before me had just made arrangements to have a hitch installed on her Subaru Forester on Friday at 1pm. I guess Subaru is made by Ford.In any event, the employee was nice enough and said that he would check on the computer. As he is looking he is talking out loud in front of other customers about the Q7 and an installation of the hitch and the fact they may have to remove the bumper, he then asked the beefy lady who I referenced before if they install hitches on the Q7, very rudely and in front of 3 other customers she said we are not doing it if we have to remove the bumper.A simple no would have been better, I have arranged to have the job done at U-Haul.I think the nasty beefy lady needed a snack.

I was in Hecht facilities end of August 2017 when I experienced a very rude wise speaking gentleman..oh wait..he was far from a gentleman. More like an impatient rude imbecile. First off hes commenting on a woman and her having work done. Mr know it all compared what he wanted done and just had to be rude!! This pete z had no idea the full cicumstances of the service she needed. Its called selective hearing. In his case being nosey..secondly he was completely making judgement calls on someone walking on the floor. Obviously he didnt know TWO people were on hold as one employee was walking to find exact information. Pete Z referred to an employee as beefy. REALLY?? HOW DARE YOU!! Ohhh thats right pete z thinks hes perfect. Trust me people..far from it from all appearances..I was there that day and im saying he was a liar! No other way to put it.Ive been using hecht trailers for a long time. Everyone has always been helpful..polite..and respectful. Anyone reading this please do not judge from one RUDE person compared to thousands. There are days when you must wait your turn. Its called PATIENCE. Also him being rude and totally out of place in his remarks was so unjust. I can honestly say the woman working has always been pleasant and hard working. Im very pleased with her help and knowledge. We found this store in the internet because the trailer hitch was letting the front jack of our storage trailer drag. The gentleman quickly analyzed the issue with our hitch and fixed it.

I dont usually write reviews ....but I really feel that this situation and experience that I had today deserves one ..... Im originally from north carolina ...and I pull an enclosed trailer back and forth .... from there to brick nj ... I needed two tires ... first off I couldnt even find rim and tire combos in brick .... so I called here and the nice lady gave me a quote ...well ...I knew it sounded like a cheap price ....so I went right away and picked up two ....Bill helped me ..and was very helpful on some questions I had about the trailer .... when I got to the counter to pay ...he gave me another price ...I said to him that wasnt the quote she gave me ..... well he made it right ....he HONORED the quote eventhough it was much less ....it was his cost ....so he added a little to it and let me have them for that ...... goodness is found wherever you go ....and I found good there today .....and I will shop there again ...... thanks to both of you, Danny .
