First time that I had went here to Firestone but hands down no complaints here from me. Although I only went there for a brand new tire for my truck I was very satisfied with the service I received and not to mention they were very professional honest and time efficient. If you end up choosing to go to Firestone in Toms river on rt 37 ask for Bill.

My daughters car was having difficulty starting. She was in desperate need for her car to be repaired. She called many places to try and get an appt to look at her issue. The closest was 4 days. Called Firestone in Toms River, NJ and Bill Jackson was able to at least take a look. He and his team were able to repair her car the same day. Thank you Bill.I was a long time customer of Firestone of Toms River until there was a staff change. Stopped going. However, once Bill Jackson took over as store manager, things changed for the better. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

I drove over a pothole and got a flat around 6 p.m.. I called in Firestone and luckily they had the tire. Kevin let me know he is there till 7 but was going to tay1y later if needed. As soon as we got there he greeted the tow truck with a friendly smile . As soon as the car was on the lift he assured me he would be able to fix it in a timely manner and then walked me through the steps of what he was going to do.Long story short, Kevin is awesome at what he does and was willing to work overtime just to get my car on the road. Thank you Kevin, you were super helpful and I appreciate your time and patience.Firestone is the place to go if youre in a rut and need something done immediately and done the right way. Again, Kevin, I cant thank you enough!:-)

I pulled in off the parkway on the way to work with a flat. Asked if they could swap the flat and put the spare on so I could leave the tire to get patched and get to work. The guy behind the counter told me that they “ had a lot going on” and that they weren’t able to change the tire. I asked if he could please help me out because I was stuck there and he said “sorry the world doesn’t move for you”. I called for help and about an hour later while I was setting up the hand jack one of the mechanics, who was a really good guy, came out with a hydraulic jack and helped us out. To whoever owns this tire shop, the guy behind the counter on 6/23/21 at 8am really needs some help with his customer service.

The online scheduling system is useless. Every time I schedule an appointment the slots I pick are not available. This time was the last straw. I initially called to schedule an appointment but no one answered so proceeded to schedule online. Tried twice to schedule an appointment and both times received an email a few minutes later stating someone tried to contact me without success. No one every called me. I sent a complaint to corporate. I then received a phone call from Bill who stated he tried to call but got a voicemail. I had no missed calls and even if he got voicemail why not leave a message like he did in response to my complaint? He also stated there is nothing he can do about the online system. If your online scheduling system doesnt work then do away with it. Its frustrating when appointments are showing as available but the store claims there are no appointments available. In the 1-1/2 to 2 years I have been going there the online scheduling system only worked once.

I made an appointment online to have my oil changed and received a confirmation email within the hour that my appointment was excepted. When arriving at the facility the next day to have the service rendered they told me that they canceled my appointment because they only make appointments at the top of the hour my appointment was for 1230 again confirmed.Terrible customer service I would never recommend anybody to go to that facility.

1st time there and they were all courteous and solved every issue I had. They even took care of a tpms light I have not been able to solve. Will definitely be back and reccomend them.

Kings of the upsell. Will sell you products (especially tires) that you dont need. They will say you need new tires when you have twice the minimum recommended tread amount. Plenty of other places on 72, dont waste your time here.

Typically are fairly knowledgeable and helpful. Sometimes its pretty packed inside. Occasionally run into a know-it-all that just thinks youre clueless, but otherwise, pretty good.

My recent visit to Firestone for a serious car repair, of an older car, was amazing. Mr Kevin made sure everything was done to perfection, even added an alignment at no cost because they thought they might have put the car out of alignment. The diagnostic fee was only $99 and they knew exactly what the problem was, as opposed to another place I had been to was going to charge me $300 and no guarantee they would know. I highly recommend going to firestone, tell Kevin I said hi 😉

Horrible, slow, and no estimateSame process In NC that took 45 minutes took 3 1/2 hours here. Just a simple alignment, oil change, and replacing two back tires.This is ridiculous, saw employees on phones talking and texting.. Some employees taking a stroll now and then. Young employees obviously need to be let go.Never coming to this Firestone again.. Going to try at the one on Route 70 Calling corporate for asking a rebate. Again dont go here.

Firestone Complete Auto Care Center has been my saving grace on more than one occasion! They are not only open 7 days a week, but the employees are all knowledgeable in all aspects of their positions. You are definitely a 5 Star outfit, but I like to keep you on your toes and reaching for the stars. There is always room for improvement. I hope you have an awesome 2020!

Beware of this Firestone and the sales guy at the front desk John. I have a lifetime alignment with Firestone. I work in the area and it’s convenient to have my car serviced during lunch at the Toms River location. I usually use Firestone in West Long Branch. I have to say I have never had a issue with this location. I took it in to have the service done and waited a hour in a half before I got up and asked how much longer would my car be. John told me they had a issue with the car and they could not do the alignment. This is after waiting a hour and half. He told me the car needed front Tie Rods and quoted me 650 dollars. I have a good mechanic that use close to my home TLC in long Branch so I told him I would take it to them to have it fixed. During my wait I over heard one of the other sales guys say to John a lady called trying to find out if you ordered her part. John told him I have not had time just tell her it’s on back ordered. Very dishonest. I took the car to the mechanic and they told me that I did not need Tie Rods. Please beware of service you are receiving at this location and working with John at the front desk. Do not trust them, I can’t imagine how many people they have ripoff.

Had a screw in my tire and went there for a repair. Dude tells me its not fixable but i know that it is. It was on the tread not the sidewall and tried to convince me it was not repairable, hinting that I need a new tire. I just bought these tires! Took it elsewhere and got my tire fixed easy peasy. Will never use this place nor do I recommend them especially if you are female.

The staff is amazing and have patience of the Saints. I had to go with my three year old nephew need I say who is a handful they had an awesome toy box full of the greatest toys which kept him busy for the most part.Anyone who has a 3-year olds nose what I mean 😂But in a timely fashion they got my car in and out and we were back on our way!!

Walked in on a great sale today! The manager there quoted me a price on a set of 4 Firestone tires. Then knocked off $100 for the sale; another $50 off since he didnt have the initial ones I wanted, then another $40 for signing up for their credit acct, which I was able to charge the job done on. Plus, if I pay the bill off within 6 months, its all interest free.

Their service is just very professional and great.

Great place, good service John (manager) is awesome. Good rebates as well, just got breaks and new tires from them 2 days ago. They even were able to bring me home as I was able to leave the car all day, but had no ride back home, seriously great customer service as I know other garages that no longer do that. Firestone Complete Auto Care on RT. 37 in Toms River NJ does all my tire work. Besides that I have had oil changes, filter changes, and my front end realigned after a deer made me swerve into a curb to keep from hitting it. The work has always been top notch! Keep up the good work guys!

Got a flat while vacationing in NJ. The guys at Firestone were about to pull up all my info from the location I use in CT with no problem. Their price was the best to begin with but they still added a coupon I didnt know about and got me on and out super fast. John and all the guys were awesome, funny and friendly. Thank you!

The very next day after picking up my truck from Toms River location, it wouldnt start again. Took it to another Firestone in Paramus where the truck was disabled. They found that the starter that was put in was defective. Had to wait hours for it to be completed a second time in two days .

I was more then a hour away from home and my brake caliper went on a Sunday. Called the manager Bill and he was very helpful and honest. They got me in and out so I could catch some of my sons championship baseball game. Very happy with the service price was a little high but I was in a jam and they were there to help.

This place used to be very reliable and trustworthy. Lately, been very disappointed in my last 2 visits. There are a couple of great guys still on the service desk, one of which I believe is the Manager Pat. Good guys to deal with. The rep I dealt with my last 2 visits, maybe needs more training or needs to get another job of his interest because he clearly dow not seem to show any kind of interest towards his job or the customer. I would say go ahead and try them out still, giving them the benefit of the doubt from my previous visits. Hopefully you get a better experience than the my last 2. But I have decided to go look for a new shop for now. Hoping to hear good review for them in the future.

Excellent work. Trust worthy. Dealt with Travis and Keith. Theyre are a bit like a dealership wanting to do every possible test and repair that might not be necessary. They are also expensive but you get what you pay for. When I drive my truck out of theyre parking lot I know the job is done right. Its easy to get an appointment with them with in a day. If they werent so expensive I would have given them 5 stars.

Ive been going to this Firestone for the last year or so and had nothing but good experiences. They did great work with my car, fixing it as quickly as possible, even putting in coupons for me when paying for it. Today, however, was not good. I took my car in to get a simple oil change. I also asked if they had time to see why my service engine light keeps going on and off. After about 4 hours I get a call not really giving me a straight answer. They said they were going to replace my gas cap and ran a couple diagnostics and couldnt find an exact problem, but it would be ready in a couple minutes. I gave them another 20 minutes before I went back to get it. Three employees were outside smoking while one of the mechanics was sitting next to my car, which was still on the lift, playing on his phone. The employee inside said that hell tell them to finish up with the oil change. Another 15 or so minutes and the car was finally done. When I heard the total ($197 and change), I lost my breath a little. I didnt say anything, just thinking maybe all the test and stuff cost more than I thought they would. When I got home and looked at my invoice and saw that my oil change was $99.99!! I couldnt believe it! how could my oil change be $100 when last time I brought it in it was only $20-25. Needless to say, I will not be bringing my car to this or any other Firestone again!!

Besides being extreamly busy, these guys fit me in and explained everything to me. They were respectful and kind. Jack my tire guy was awesome .i watcjed them work like a team and get people in and out despite the heat and demand. Smooth and effective team work. I highly recommend this shop.. The bathroom was the nicest I ever saw in a service shop. Their pros from the front desk to the garage

I called to see if I could get a valve replaced in my tire if I brought it in right then, he said sure bring it in now. Well I sat for 40 min before they took it in, then after another 20 said I needed 3 valves, but they couldnt get it done within an hour, so I made an appointment to come back in in the afternoon. I went back and he said it would be an hour wait or more. The older gentleman was rude and really unfriendly. When I got home, I called to confirm what 3 valves were bad. He put me on hold and never came back on. I called back twice and no answer. I had a feeling he was doing it on purpose. I called from my home phone and he answered right away. He muttered the answer and hung up. I called this morning like an idiot to maybe go and get it fixed, they are open but wont answer my call. Im at Mavis and now having a great experience. Shame on you you grump over there at Firestone, you put me in a bad mindset for my whole day, Dont go here!

We have been using Firestone for years with several of our cars and have always been very happy with them, however this was our first time at this location and were not happy at all. Brought our old honda element in and was told it needed a new alternator which we got and paid over 500.00. The very next day we had to take it back and was then told we needed a new transmission. I spoke to the manager to see if we could get any type of credit for the 500.00 we just spent and he said there was nothing he could do but he would check with his boss and get back to us which has not happened. Guess we will be taking all of our business elsewhere.

All the work I ever had done there was good. However, my car was returned to me with an unexplained scratch on it? First scratch or dent ever in two years!

Too long for oil change with appointment. But coupons coffee comfortable waiting room clean toilets and a tv.....you know the price. Service always good.

Very horrible mechanics and people my car got ruined the next day after giving them my GMC to change just oil. The oil started pouring out everywhere and also my wheels was hard to drive.So plz I advise y’all to look else where because this is not recommended for anyone 🥴I wish I could give them a zero star. If I have enough money I will really sue them for damaging my car.

Took my truck in for an inspection required by the goshare app, which took an hour and a half, truck comes out of the shop with cylinder 1 misfiring. Had no prior problems with my truck until these hacks touched it. Avoid this shop before they try scamming you out of more money too.

I dealt with Travis. Used them for tires and alignment. Sales associate went above and beyond to have our car safe to drive. Car was pulling to the left after alignment. he had me come in next day for them to redo alignment. Car was still pulling and he had them check my brake system. Found out one of the calipers is sticking. Recommend to call ahead of time and ask for Travis.

Wish I could give it 0 stars .Waited an over An hour For them to Fish for Potential work and sell me things I did not need .Go to get my tire plug on a new car To come out with a $1100 estimate for new tires and new battery .And on top of all that they straight up lied to me .Said they had a hole in my side wall which I did not I used a spray bottle With warm water and dish soap To find the nail that I had in my tire tread Which can be easily plugged .lies.. lies..lies..

Stay Away - Dishonest ScammersWent for just an oil change. Told me I had a nail in my tire. I told them the tire was literally only 3 months old and asked them to patch it. Sean said it could not be patched and I needed to buy a new tire. I told Sean to just put the spare on and finish the oil change. He then said let us see what we can do. After saying they couldnt patch the tire, they did patch but then charged me a whopping $40 when all other places charge no more than $20. Sean then actually tried to sell me 4 new tires I didnt need. I walked out of there with a quote of nearly $1,500 for a 2013 car with just 25,000 miles on it. They are a ripoff and literally lied about my tire in order to get me to buy a new one. I will NEVER go back there again.

Firestone in Toms River, NJ did my Oil Change, and went Above, and Beyond with some Cosmetic Issues that have been apparent for 6-7 Years, and now my Vehicle is better than New.

The manager, Bill, and all the mechanics are a great bunch of people. Theyve helped me out so much over the years. I tell everybody I know to go see these guys.

Do NOT give Firestone on Rt.37 Toms River any service. These people charged my son a service 2 years ago that was never done that created a bigger problem later. He had to have his heater coil replaced by Lube Express because the antifreeze was never flushed nor replaced. It looked like mud before the heating coil was replaced and we have a receipt that states that the transmission fluid and antifreeze was flushed and replaced 2 years ago this Jan by Firestone. There is no way that this fluid would look the way it did if this service was done. There are cars out there that can go years before having this fluid changed!They also put synthetic oil in his car during a regular oil maintenance change without his permission that he now has to continue using. Shame on you Firestone for taking advantage of a young man like this.

I wish I could give zero stars. Ive been coming to this location for over a year, theyve been pretty good. However, the last two visits, not so. First, I had an 8AM appt, why my oil change took an hour and a half, I dont know. Second, I took my car again for an oil change, Im waiting almost two hours. My wife gets a call at home that the car is ready. She calls me saying, where are you? Im at Firestone, why? They called here, why, I dont know. I was waiting in the shop. Two hours for an oil change? I went back this AM, why I gave them another chance, Ill never know. Waiting an hour, they tell me that the mechanic double gasketed the oil filter, they back the car out and oil is shooting out from all over. They had to get a heavy duty degreaser, empty and refill the engine, let it run for 15 mins to be sure all is okay. Two hours total for an oil change is unheard of. Will I bring my cars back here again? Sorry, 3 strikes youre out. Hell NO..

I cant believe people give negative comments regarding this shop, then I experienced it myself. Im suprised that the shop is almost empty compared to other shops that I have been before that day. The machanic told me that he needed my social security (smells fishy), for what? So I told him I am paying cash. Then he scares me with repairs that I dont need. They really prey on people that looks stupid and ignorant, they probably need income because customers who need their service is decrementing. I dont know maybe because of THIS NEGATIVE COMMENTS that people read before going to your shop. Please firestone auto care give customers the best experience including Honesty, you will find out its better to do business that way.

I would like to congratulate Patrick Cunningham the manager on a fair handling of a difficult situation that resulted in their refunding me $57.03 in the cost of diagnostics.I brought the car to the shop for engine clicking noises that I suspect may be valve issue. After diagnostics. I was told it was valve issues but they do not deal with engine issues. I was given a discount for the diagnostics fee since they dont repair engines. After paying my fee, it occurred to me something was not right. I should have been told, the shop does not do engines. I went back to the shop to discuss my thoughts. After both sides discussed our opinions, even though Pat did not agree with me, he did the right thing by refunding me back my $57.03. I respect this as a show of integrity. I will certainly return to this shop and would recommend the shop for their excellent handling of a difficult situation.Tony Chu MD, FACC, FSCAI

Fixed a flat on short notice. They easily could have upsold me a tire but were honest and just fixed the tire.

Bought 2 new tires both worn out after 2 months on a front wheel drive car with them on the rear. Tire exploded on side of road i was then told they wouldnt be replaced without paying another 100$ (the same cost as a new pair) despite road hazard gaurantee. Outright theft. Will not ever come back.

3 hour wait for an oil change even with an appointment. Staff was relatively friendly but it doesnt make up for all the other shortcomings.

I just took my car there for an oil change. Waited 2.5 hours. After the guy stalled my car 3-5 times before getting it in the garage. Once it was finally done he pulled the car out then stalled it again. Then took off down the road (im outside) my car is pretty modified, hence me being able to hear my External Wastegate dumping which means my car is in full boost. After he came back I approached him asking him since when was a joyride part of the oil change? Then told him I saw and heard him floor my car. He looked at me and said I have no idea what your talking about. Ok no problem just lie to my face instead of addmitting you did wrong at my expense!! I spoke with the guy inside and he said he will tell management which I hope he does if not its on here. Finally I get in my car to see my accessport hanging off of the dash. Safe to say I hope no one goes here ever again.
