They use to be a great salon but my last experience was so disappointing. I went for a gel manicure, it was the fastest manicure I’ve ever gotten. My cuticles were not even pushed back just nipped. The water to soak my nails was cold. Left with gel still on fingers and looking just sloppy. The design was not what I wanted and did not look like the picture I showed. Sad because I went for some relaxing time and I could have done a better job myself. They seemed to just be rushing to get to the next person. Quality has dropped fior sure.

They do a great job with nails...if you have 3-4 hours to spend there. Had 2 appointments cancelled last minute. Beautiful work but not very organized. If they got it together, itd be 5 star

My nails are very damaged from a quarantine attempt at doing my own acrylics. Although I am local to toms river I have yet to find somewhere to completely satisfy my nail expectations. You can definitely tell this is a more to-date salon. If your looking for the most popular nail shapes and designs this is where you go. Eddie did my nails. We decided to take off my old acrylics and start with a fresh set of gel. He was super precise. Like, he very much cared that I was happy when I left. We were there way past closing time and he didnt seem to mind at all. I really appreciate the time he took to file, coat gel, and file and file and file to get an amazing coffin shape. I could literally kill someone with these babies!Aside from my personal experience, every artist there seemed to have amazing skills. Your eyes immediately gravitated to everyones hands when they walked by. My only real downside was the cost. I paid 70 for a new gel set and removal of the old acrylics, no design. but he said he didnt charge me for the removal. Im new to gel so maybe thats the cost these days, 🤷🏼‍♀️ he was really great and funny and personable and very detailed so its definitely a justified cost. If you want your nails done amazing and dont mind paying for quality work, I would def check them out!

Wow! I’ve never had a better first impression! I was loyal to a Philly salon for 6 years but I needed somewhere closer now that I’m not in philly daily and Vivians Nails did not disappoint. Kristin at sniptease suggested this salon and they’re incredibly talented, clean and was a perfect place to escape for a few hours! Vivian is amazing! Mimi does great work also but the entire staff is wonderful. I found my new salon! I’ll be coming here every 2 weeks for pampering and relaxation! So happy I found this salon full of talent. My only regret is that I didn’t start coming here sooner! Will be adding pictures soon.

I liked how my nails came out, but my the polish came off after only 3 days! I have never experienced that with acrylics before. I also paid $40 for a fill which I thought was expensive but since I liked the nails i just paid it. Very disappointed i paid $40 for nails that didn’t even last a week and were nothing special! Will not be going back here, save your money.

My fiancé wouldn’t let me pay for her manicure, so I volunteered to come with her and get a pedicure while I wait to spend some time together as we both have some hectic schedules. For the record, I only volunteered so I could sneakily pay for her service! (Or did I?)It is very clean inside and recently renovated. The staff is beyond friendly and reminds me of the barber shop I frequent, but a feminine version. Vivian always has something nice to say and is always diligently working on a client.The staff will make you feel at home and do a pretty good job and helping you leave your work week at the door. I will certainly be returning .... to pay for my partners manicure that is...

I’ve gone there three times in the past 3 months and each time my nails came out horrible. Two done by Steve and one done by Jonny, I don’t know if it’s just the males but I had uneven nails, bumpy gel polish, and the polish was not put on neatly or evenly. Never going there again.

Be careful with pricing. You might be sitting in the chair getting a pedicure then out of no where you are paying for a pedicure spa, including my daughters nails were over priced. One nail was crooked and charged for a different shape. Advise.. Make sure the wife is there managing the place.

This photo is taken 3 days into my gel manicure. You can also see how gross my cuticles look - and this was after I asked the gentleman doing my nails to cut the skin around them more. I left with gel polish all around the tops of my cuticles, as well, and at the free edge and on the corners of my nails. Truly disappointed by the lack of attention here. I usually get a manicure once a month and maintain my nails the rest of the month (cuticle trimming and all) so I always look forward to getting my nails (cuticles especially) cleaned up.

My 1rst time going here was a few weeks ago since my nail girl moved onto a new place to far away. I ment to review earlier lol. I actually had the owner vivian do my nails. She is amazing! Absolutely was what i was looking for. I am one of those girls who wants designs and jewels etc. Not an easy please. But this last she did for me with the snow tiger/ leopard mix with the coco chanel and jewels add on and stiletto cut (can find on her insta btw) was my favorite design i can even think back on. Its to die for!!!... Now it was pricey..alot more than my other nail place. Lol but i will be returning for my vday hook up!!! Thank you Vivian

After years of trying to find a decent nail place, vivians has exceeded all of my expectations! Vivian is so talented and can literally do anything to your nails you ask for.

I had a 11:00 appointment which started at 11:15 and I specifically asked for a MASSAGE like I got last time. This guy eddy massaged my LEGS ten times more than my feet HE DIDNT MASSAGE MY FEET AND MY GEL PEDICURE WAS $40! I am not happy with it and will never go back. Friendly nails much better.

Me and my friend has an appointment for 11:30 and they didn’t start my nails till 12:30 they were very nasty attitude the lady doing my nails was drinking tea as she did my naild they didnt clean the tools if i could give 0 starts i would. i left about 20mins ago and my nail is already chipping. under the arm rest there was nail dust and it was just a gross experience. never go there

I’ve been a super loyal customer here for about a year or so now, on my last visit while getting my nails done I was cut on my cuticle, it’s been infected for over a week now and the dr said it was from unsanitary tools. I will never go here again nor will any of the friends I’ve sent.

Pedicure done poorly, once I told Vivian of my dislike she told me she never got a complaint and nothing was wrong.

$35 for my fill...I have no problem paying more for nails if they look nice. Unfortunately I didn’t not notice in the salon but when I left ALL and I mean every single nail was crooked and uneven

No waiting...no wonder....botched job on pedicure and gel fingernails. Fingernails peeled same day. Toes were left with dead skin all around cuticles. Wont go there again.
