I visited the store with my mom to buy new phones and transfer an old phone. Raul was extremely helpful, patient, and knowledgeable about all products. We walked away pleased and would recommend working with him to anyone needing a new phone!

Sarah Was a beyond accommodating and helpful. Being not terribly Tech savvy she got me through this process with a two phone purchase that will make both of my sons days. I had an issue with my new LG cellphone& replacement phone due to a google update gone bad. At the Ocean County Mall store Dave M, Ed and Justin were all very kind and as helpful as they could be at one time or another within my week long ordeal of not being able to text message or receive text messages. I have to say Dave M is the hero of this story . He went above and beyond to help me when he found out what caused the problem, he called me multiple times, had me come into the store and helped me resolve the issue. I am very grateful and totally recommend this store and Dave.

I was trying to buy the new iPhone 12. The lady that worked there stated she only stocks and the gentleman didn’t even acknowledge me, ignored me the whole time. I waited almost a half hour to be helped. Well he lost out on commission... I am taking my money elsewhere. I worked for customer service and this by FAR the worst customer service I have experienced.

I had an awsome experience at the ocean county mall verizon. Justin was a great salesman he spent alot of time with my family, from switching from our other carrier to setting up our phones . Very professional.

Over three years ago, I bought a phone from this place and had great service from a knowledgeable salesman. This past July, I decided to get another phone and of course I wanted to buy from this store. As my old phone was dying and I would certainly need a new one, I walked in ready to buy and knowing there would be a $40 upgrade fee. I also asked if the new phone was on promotion and I was told no, but I decided to proceed anyway knowing about Verizons two week return policy, in case it does go on promotion shortly after. As the new phone was being unpacked, the saleslady Colleen asked if she would like me to set it up without a mention of a $40 programming fee and I casually said why not. When everything was done, I looked at the bill seeing the $40 fee (thinking it was the upgrade fee) and I asked if this was all of the fees associated with the upgrade and I was assured that it was. Then I get the next bill from Verizon with a $40 upgrade fee, a double hit. After conversing with Verizon Customer Service, they said that Cellular Sales charged me a fee to program the new phone and that I should take the matter to the store since it is not a corporate store, (As far as I am concerned, they have your name on the store and they represent you!) and that they cannot see any receipt uploads from the store. After bringing my receipt and bill to the store three times and explaining that the programming fee was not disclosed to me prior to the phone activation and that I was assured all of the fees were paid upfront I am entitled to a refund, the salespeople refused and said I should send the bill to Verizon customer service to have it refunded. On top of all of this, I found out the phone was on promotion in a week after I bought it and there were no markings in the store showing that. I had checked inside the store within the next two weeks only seeing the same price as I paid. Apparently you have to ask about the promotions. Not marking them certainly seems to be a questionable business practice as it makes me wonder if I was not told the truth about no promotion at the time I bought the phone.

I just Upgraded my iPhone with Nate and the experience couldn’t have been better. He answered all my questions and was extremely personable. He seemed to really enjoy his job and it showed with how good his customer service was. I would definitely go back to him if I needed any help with anything.

One of the guys that works there likes to pocket peoples money. A friend went in to pay her phone bill because he couldnt understand her he decided to just pocket the money. Rather than picking up one of the hundreds of phones around him he took it upon himself to just put the money in his pocket. Her phone bill was like $40 and she gave him hundred dollar bill. He did not credit her account or give her change back.

I went into the store to upgrade my phone and was greeted by Matthew right away. He sat down with me and recommended I upgrade to the iPhone Xr and I couldn’t be any more pleased with the phone. He was such a big help and explained everything very clearly and had excellent customer service skills. He even called after a few days of having the phone to see how I liked it! I would recommend anyone I know to him and this store

Poor customer service along with inferior products make this a place to avoid.An auto rapid power charger for a Droid was bought on 3 Dec 2016 as a Christmas gift. It does not work as a rapid charger, that claim is bogus Their return policy starts from the day the item is bought, so if you are planning to make any purchase from this non Verizon Corporate Store as a gift, do not buy it until 3 - 4 days before you plan on giving it. But as it is their policy, so be it, I can live with it.However, what brings me here today is that they sell inferior products. I had bought a rapid power charger from an actual Verizon store for myself, and it worked, RAPIDLY. But the one that I bought from this store was anything but rapid. I did not realize at the time that I as buying a non standard item, even though I was told by the sales person at the time that it was just like the one I had from Verizon. And he was right to a point! It plugs into the vehicle and it plugs into the mobile phone. But that is where the simultaneity ends. It is about 40% slower than the one that Verizon sells, so due to that fact, it is worthless for what it was intended for.The item was exchanged for a replacement and is just as slow as the first one. It is too bad that this company only cares about sales and not about service.If you want true Verizon items that work, if you want a true Verizon experience, if you want true customer service, avoid this location. You will be better off for doing so.

I recently signed up with Verizon Wireless and I havent been happier. Mr. Jeff Lansing, of Verizon Wireless in the Ocean County Mall, was very impressive from the start. I was nervous to switch over to Verizon at first after so many years with my previous supplier, but his knowledge and professionalism gave me the confidence I needed to take the leap. Thank you Verizon, and Mr. Lansing, for providing great service! I could not be happier.

I have been to various Verizon stores in New Jersey and been disappointed with hard sells, long waits and surly salespeople. This is not one of them! I came in with a budget and was accepted without disdain. The experience was direct but also warm. If you have the chance to see Erica, she was amazing. Aside from that this store is well stocked, open and bright. Highly recommended.

We traveled from South Carolina to visit my parents and purchase a new phone for my mother. Erica was our sales person and she was amazing! Not only did she guide us to the perfect phone for her, she took the time to set it up and explain it to us, and we were in and out in under 20 minutes! I met him about 6 months ago when I stopped in the Ocean County Verizon store because I was having a problem with the function of my email. He took the time to help me figure things out. I didn’t feel rushed. A good sales rep and pleasant to deal with. Highly recommend. He knows what he’s doing.

My experience at this store was a breeze. My phone had been cracked and the screen had turned purple and black, Kara assisted me with picking out a new device and transferring my contacts which saved me tons of time. I must say Kara was very thorough and did an excellent job. I love my new phone!

Sprint wanted $100 to fix my phone....$120 for a new phone after having paid for my phone and insurance for about 5 years.... I explored my options and checked at Verizon ...Kara Creech was very patient with me not knowing any of my passwords etc....she took the time to help me find a phone that was good for me... transferred my number and contacts over... “bought” my old phone, found a case that works for me!...and explained everything!Overall she made the whole process so easy for me and I didn’t have to be up there all day!...

Erica is one of the best sales reps I have ever worked with – so professional, super knowledgeable, and personable. She so smoothly worked through what could have been a very frustrating and difficult situation. I tremendously appreciate her assistance and expertise.

Matt Rebetje was able to help me with my phone problem on 10/21. He was so accommodating and showed me a few important things to do on my phone, such as getting rid of advertisements that slow down u device speed and organizing pictures.

Shes very patient and took her time helping me chose the right phone and plan for me, even set up apps and showed me how to use my new phone. Considering this would be my first time having my own cell phone bill, I went into the store not knowing much about anything. Jeff was AMAZING ! I went to Verizon so upset and I left with a huge smile on my face !!! I went to 3 other Verizon / T-Mobile Store’s and no one went above and beyond as much as Jeff did or even cared about what my problem was. My phone was literally shattered to pieces and I had a bunch of work photos and photos of my mom and I who passed that I would like to keep forever ! He did whatever he could for me to transfer all my stuff onto my new phone . He was so accommodating, knowledgeable and PATIENT !!! His performance while representing your company should be bottled and sold to other companies where customer service and complete knowledge of product is so important to the consumer. Go to an actual Verizon Store. I got a phone here and they are expensive, I could not trade it in, I thought they said it was 30 days, but it was only 14 days to trade it in. I would have paid the restocking fee, and the upgrade costs.. But everything there is expensive anyway. I thought I would give them my business because they are close and convenient. but do yourself a favor and just get it online or at a real Verizon store.

Eddy and Jeff were unable to locate my order and unable to help in any way. Its been 3 weeks since Ive placed my order for an iphone 6s. I called and spoke with Eddy. He said hed look into it and call me back. Never received a call. Called back 1 week later after no response and no phone. I was put on contact with Jeff. An actual response I received from Jeff was Im not at a computer right now, I dont know what to tell you. Complete unprofessionalism. Will never return.

Got a new phone, did not disclose any of the fees involved, told phone bill was going up 32 dollars for new phone, went up $94, they added phone replacement which i didnt agree or ask for. Would not reccomend, just go to a real verizon store.

My mother went into this Verizon location with the intention of getting an iPhone 5S for $0.99 with a 2-year contract extension. Shes been eligible for an upgrade for years and just wanted a cheap iPhone to FaceTime/iMessage with the family. Instead of honoring this deal, sales rep Jon Durieux lied to her and said that deal isnt available anymore. He signed her up for the Verizon Edge plan and charged her over $350 for the iPhone 5S which she could pay over the course of several months.I was astonished when I heard about how shed been swindled into this plan that was definitely not for her. The Verizon Edge plan is aimed at people that want to trade in their phone early to upgrade to the latest device. There could not be a less appropriate plan for her.I had to contact Verizon to report this issue and had the purchase completely cancelled. Once it was cancelled, I made her an online account with Verizon Wireless and indeed saw the iPhone 5S $0.99 deal for a 2-year contract extension, and got that for her.My advice is to avoid these Premium Retailers as theyre not real Verizon Wireless stores.

I recently came in due to an issue with my phone, specifically my iMessaging. I explained the situation to Kimani, and he immediately knew the resolution and was able to clarify and fix the issue. He went above and beyond, even working to resolve the issue while the store was about to close for the night. Kimani has also helped me out numerous times and is a pleasure to work with, especially since Im in here often for one thing or another. He knows his line of work, and always responds to customers with a smile and willingness to help. I have recommended him to friends and family members a number of times and will absolutely continue to do so, as I know he will always rise to the occasion and provide a legendary customer experience.
