My fiancée and son have been getting cuts from Todd for a couple years now. Even having to follow him when he moved. We were always on time never missed an appointment always tip very well. But today we had an appointment we were running a little late because we are getting married in 2 days and everything is a little crazy. So we called Todd to tell him and he said that we always do this which is a complete untruth and then proceeded to tell us never to call him again. Super unprofessional! Things happen and we made sure to call as this is our last day to get haircuts before the wedding and we told him that, he did not care and hung up. I have never experienced anything like that in my life. One time running late. Especially since there were times that Todd was locked up and we had to wait for him to get haircuts and we did we waited weeks and he couldn’t give us 20 min considering we have a wedding in 2 days and everything is a little crazy now. Do not recommend

I stopped in to this place to show the owner a skincare product I make that would really be great there. He has a celebrity reputation and the place was packed with happy customers. He was still super welcoming and came out to talk to me. I appreciate that in a grateful business owner. If I lived closer and didnt cut my own hair, Id be there every few weeks.

The first time i tried them i have to wait a hour and a half past my appointment which is very annoying they have no regard for your time . The second time was more disappointing they told me they were making my appointment for 5 but to come in at 5:15 because he was running late. I came in a t 5:15 gave the guy at the front desk my name and sat down . He took multiple other customers and 45 min went by so i asked when is my turn he said i missed my appointment and had to wait longer . I did not miss my appointment i was there when i was told. If i did not ask i wouldve sat there without anyone even checking on me.Very unprofessional and disappointing establishment. Please do not go there unless you have hours to waste in your day

All i can say is by far one of the best haircuts ive ever had. i got a cut by joe and it was phenomenal. walking in the barbershop is very clean and has a fun energy to it. joe started out knowing exactly what i wanted and did not disappoint. the skin fade he gave me was probably the best ive ever gotten and took his time which is important to me. a clean cut on the top and and shape up of the beard and it came out perfect. i also did the black mask peel to cap it off. all in all one of the best haircuts ive ever gotten. and joe is a cool dude too

First off I have to say Adam V has the skill set that takes most barbers their entire lifetime to achieve. He has been keeping me fresh for almost 8 years and for 2 years I was driving almost 50 minutes (each way) to see him. And Im not the typical client, minimum 2 times a month but there has been occasions were Ive gone 3 or even 4 times a month to see him. If youve had a bad experience somewhere else give Adam a shot, you will not be disappointed. Secondly, Pedro runs one of the most clean shops, if not the cleanest, Ive ever visited hands down. His team consists of a great group of guys and girls and I never leave his establishment unsatisfied....

Wish I could give them more than 5 stars! My three year son’s hair was butchered at another place. We walked in and Adam was able to squeeze us in. He gave my son a great haircut and was able to fix the mistakes from the other place. He was patient and paid attention to detail. We got several compliments on his haircut within hours of leaving Jagged Edge! We will be going back to him as our permanent barber!

Recently moved out to the area and needed a new barber. Tried maybe 3 different barber shops and wasn’t a fan of any of them. These guys are awesome, been going here for the last few months now and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Go see Phil, he’ll do you right. 25 bucks for a cut but you get what you pay for.

First off the barbers and quality of work is top notch. However I feel they are under staffed maybe. They take online reservations for appointments which is cool, when it works. Made one and wasn’t in the system. Maybe it was my fault but after waiting 45 minutes or so I left. The receptionist tells you there will be a first come first serve on Sunday when they open at 10 I get there at 940 to make sure I can get in.... 1025 I leave after no one shows up. Maybe it’s me and should call ahead I don’t know. On the google search the store hours are Sunday 10-3. On the sign at the store this is not the case. Again it is not the quality of craftsmanship but the lack of staff to handle the volume. They are excellent when you actually get an appointment.

I live in Wall and travel to Toms River to get my haircut here! I have seen the owner of this shop mentor many young barbers that have joined his staff over the years. Not only is it mandatory that all of these barbers are licensed, but they can actually cut hair. I am a 37 yr. old professional that has rather difficult hair to maintain and Pedro has been my absolute go-to guy for the last 15+ years. The attention to detail of the cuts is only parallel to the cleanliness and upkeep of the shop. Some may review and say they get a Good cut at a little shop for $10 but these are also the same guys that their hair looks sub par on a good day; you get what you pay for. I also have a 7 year old son that has had every haircut since his first at Jagged Edge and I can say that when kids are present every barber is aware of that and pays the utmost respect with the conversations that take place.I look forward to seeing Jagged Edge being a fixture in the community for many years to come and even look forward to many more generations of my own family taking the trip down to Toms River for the best haircut around.

I went there cause my other barber was closed when I got there the guy seemed annoyed cause it was 2:30 and they close at 3 that wasn’t worst part when I sat down he just started cutting my hair no cape on me or nothing got hair all over me when I had to go somewhere than when he started to give me the fade he grab my head so hard it hurt pushing his fingers down so hard. That’s not all I asked for a hard part with my comb over he didn’t put in the right place also I asked for some off the top he started to kick me off the chair with out doing it. Worst ever I don’t know his name but he had a long ginger beard and short hair don’t get your hair cut from him he needs to be fired ASAP. Period
