I visited on Monday! However, I did not have an appointment. I asked if I can get a haircut. I was told to take a seat and someone will be right with you. While I was waiting I was looking to see where the prices were posted. I did not see any prices posted. The barber came out and asked how do you want your hair cut. I told him I just want a trim on top and shorter in the back. I was given a good haircut and I was charge $25.00 and he informed me that was the basic cut charge! I thought for a basic trim. It was a bit pricey. Im not sure if I will go back.

I usually go to the $10 cut places and get a basic cut. I didnt realize what I was missing until I went to Signature in Toms River, a modern and trendy yet comfortable place. Jipso was my barber and the best compliment I can give him is that my girl says I cant ever go back to the $10 places because she loves the way he cut me. And shes right...definitely worth the extra cost to have a pro cut and style me.

This was my first time ever going to a barber. Jay Jay is the fricken man! I walked in with about 10 inches of hair and came out looking like a brand new man. I am very happy with the end result. I originally was introduced to SBL a few years ago. I remember Jesse as he was just getting into the game. After losing my original barber for some time, I became Jesse’s client. His growth, passion to detail, kindness, empathy and commitment has made me his client for a couple years now. This man is a genius, he has gone out of his way to accommodate me even in the most trying times. I would follow him wherever he goes should he ever leave SBL. My son asked to go here, as its popular with the teenagers in town. I would definitely recommend making an appointment! We loved Jay, very professional and gave a great cut. The last time we went we were in a rush and someone else cut his hair, we had a 4pm appointment and didnt get in the seat until 430 or so and was there till almost 6!! Seems like this one guy couldnt cut hair and talk at the same time... if not for the first experience from Jay I probably wouldnt have gone back if I had this guy the first time..

A little disappointed with my last haircut. I’ve been coming here for a few years and everything has been good. But my last visit the guy cut my forehead with the straight razor and also messed up my neck. I also asked for a fade and only one side of my head is faded.

Best haircut and experience I ever had, and my 8 year old too, he has a bunch of scars on his head form surgeries they didnt even blink they said we got this how do you want it cut... most people freak out they treated him like a real little man and gave him an amazing haircut for his first holy communion. Three letters... W.O.W... A small local shop ran by honest and talented gentleman. Very welcoming atmosphere offering all types of maintence ones hair could need. Heck I even got my brows trimmed up One day! I recommend this spot for all types of audiences, also the location is great for Toms River as a Township. Downtown needs more attraction and life. Super rushed, and super expensive for experience, no shaving gel for straight razor and kept doing services I did not ask for and gave me no time to say anything just continued, such as straight razor beard line up, beard trim and cut, he asked what I wanted and did what he think looked best and not what I asked. Although it is a great fade, he cut a lot off then what I had asked for and i left with my skin super irritated.

SBL is a great barber shop. The name says it all, its definitely a signature barber lounge. They have the nicest interior in a barber shop ive ever seen. The couches in there are very comfortable. Im from out of town and was on vacation with my family. Unfortunately it was a Sunday morning, so I was worried there werent going to be any places around that were open. I found this place and was not disappointed. I walked in asking if they were busy and if I should come back at a later time. They told me to have a seat and theyll get to me as soon as possible. I must have been waiting for a maximum of three minutes until they called me. JJ called me and sat me down. He made sure he knew exactly what kind of cut I wanted, and did an awesome job. JJ and the other barber(sorry I cant remember his name) couldnt have been nicer. I didnt even know these guys, and they treated me like Ive been going there for years. It was a great experience, and will definitely be getting a haircut here again when Im back in town. Thank you guys and thanks again JJ for giving me a great cut!
