This is by far the best auto repair shop. If its out of your way, I still suggest you have your work done here. I was expecting to shell out at least $1000 for a repair but it turned out to be a different issue that cost 1/4 of that. John, Sal and the Technicians are all knowledgeable, honest, courteous and patient. My car is running better than it did when I first purchased it. I will say he was nice to me BUT he will lie for the guy you bought a car from. Candor did say he pays on point mechanic WAY too much money which is why im assuming he lied for him! Took my truck 3 times with clanking noise problem and they couldnt find the problem VERY dangerous for me to be driving with my ONE year old daughter in the truck! Do NOT lie for other people for money!! Its not worth it. Take my advice!! especially lying when i have a baby cmon thats not right. What if we got into a deadly accident? You would feel guilty right? Not nice. Heres the pictures of my BROKEN cv joint how dangerous this could have ended. Thought nothing was wrong though? Lol

Sal and the guys are a great bunch. Knowledgeable and quick. Oil change was in and out with no appointment in under 30. Always give me a heads up on potential problems and no pressure to get it done immediately. Highly recommend on point.

I have a BMW X5, I was having some trouble with it. Having a 9 year old son, driving quite frequently and far-I was very concerned for safety. I love my suv and want it to be in good hands when needed . After searching for shops and listening to the phony bs, I finally found “on point” . Thank God I did . I stopped in for a free estimate/diagnostic check and ended up having work done by them. They’re extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The entire staff is very friendly and they get the work done super quick! The estimate varies on what troubles you may have but for a BMW, I thought the price for repairs were great. The shop is clean and they handle all sorts of vehicles and make/models. I will definitely be a returning customer when needed . I trust them 100% . The woman at the front desk is so nice and the owner is welcoming and truly cares. He isn’t looking to rip you off like most places . The name of this business fits . I have a classic Mustang other mechanics couldnt figure out or just ripped me off. Sal, John and staff got it right the first time. I dealt with a gentleman named Budd guy is an absolute legend helped me figure out my issues with my idle on my 89 Mercury as we all know this day and age its hard to find mechanics that are familiar with older vehicles.

I recently bought a car from The Used Car Factory. A few days after purchased, the check engine light came on. The dealer sent me here (and picked up the bill) I am so happy they did. On Point fixed the car same day. They heard a squeal from the tire, went ahead and took the tire off and fixed it so the the noise has stopped. I am new to the area, so happy to find a great shop. Completely unethical and looking to take advantage. They quoted me $600 for what I later found out we’re made up issues when the problem was simply coming from my rotors being on the wrong sides. After quoting me their high rate I decided to call and tell them I’ll take my car elsewhere and they made me wait an extra hour to pick up my car to do diagnostics and charged me $100 without telling me! Never once did they mention a fee until I walked in to pick up my car. Went to the original shop I got my brakes done at and they switched my rotors to the correct sides with no problems at no cost. ON POINT claimed something was bent and parts needed replaced which was why the quote was so high and the shop I went with saw none of these issues.

I have been taking our vehicles to On Point since they opened in 2016. The staff explains everything to you before they do any work and actually give you options if available. Waiting room has a big flat screen TV, WI FI, and a coffee bar to top it off. Great work !!!!

Lost my brakes on my Lexus GS300 while driving home from Trenton. I had the car towed to them that evening and called them the next morning around 730. I was happily shocked someone answered because it was too early to be open but I was grateful to get headstart on my car. They told me theyd look at it and call me back. Now I was confident because the tow truck company already told me they were good guys but when they called me back so quick with my problem and other repairs that needed immediate attention I was amazed. They gave me the best price around Brick, Lakewood and Toms River for brakes & rotors, synthetic oil change, serpentine belt and a left cv axle And believe me I called around since Im new to the area. They had my car finished around lunchtime. It just doesnt get any better. They are my new mechanics . Men that I know my dad would trust and use.
