Called for a tow for my mom. She had a flat, folded over tire :( Grangers had someone out quick! Fairly priced also. I recommend!
Just asked dude to check my clutch he said my clutch is perfectly fine I give this man a five-star because of how he handled his self with his customers...
Great service graet work on the vehicle
The owner is horrible talks to you crazy the last that answers the phone she is nice but I will never ever ever ever take my car to them.
Graingers does a wonderful job I have been a repeat customer there I think two times I have been 100% satisfied with the work gun on my automobiles. They help set up the rental for me along with the insurance company they were able to work well. There was a discrepancy in price between the insurance company and Grangers but between the two of them they worked it out. I would give them a 10 star rating if I could I was very very satisfied. Great job Grangers keep up the good work
Mike and his staff are local friendly and just plain honest on how they can help. I was very pleased with my experience!
I hadnt even had my car 2 months and my neighbor backed into the drivers door.I just got it back today and you cant tell anything ever happened! They had said they cant perfectly paint match, but they did!Highly recommend!
Giving them 5 stars because not only did they fix my vehicle, to make sure that me and my children were getting around safety they donated the two tires I needed but couldnt afford at the time! Thanks guys it was greatly appreciated. I will be a returning customer and I will recommend your shop.
The service was quicker than expected and everything they worked on looks beautiful.
I had such a great experience here! My car died at 12:30 on the night before MLK day and I had it towed to Grangers. Someone called me back that night to ensure it would be taken care of the next day. I spoke with someone the very next day about what was wrong with my car, what it needed, and total cost. They were quick, efficient, and very friendly! I am happy to have found a good mechanic in the area!
I took my car to get fixed here because they are the only shop in Toledo approved by Esurance for their E-star rating. After dealing with Grangers, I would have rather paid out of pocket for a job well done than keep coming back across town to try and remedy shoddy work and deal with a crybaby owner. He is only in charge because his father started the business.Keep in mind here that I had my infant son with me for a more vivid picture of the owners moral compass. The rental had a cracked windshield, no rear view mirror, under-inflated & dry rotted tires, and half way home I realized the brakes were getting worse by the minute. Why? Because of a gaping hole in the brake line. My son & I were both almost killed, so I parked the car until mine was done, hoping that if I didnt complain, they would do a good job on my car. Similar to why I dont send food back at a restaurant.I had no such luck. The body panels were just as crooked as when they went in, and the paint color was not even close. I very politely asked him to make things right. He wasnt happy about it, but admitted that things were done improperly so he kept my vehicle to make things right. I should have just kept the wrong color and crooked bumper, because it actually looked worse after their second botched attempt. Steer clear of this hack.
They are the worse people to deal with. I called them, a very nice woman said they would be on the way. An hour and a half passed no one called or notified me that they would not be coming. Then after SIX phones after they were hanging up on me. They decided to tell me that they were not doing the tow.
I had my vehicle repaired at Ganger’s in October 2014 and after my experience I would NOT recommend this repair shop.As to the entire story of why I am unhappy with the way I was treated at Granger’s:My vehicle was flood damaged and Granger’s was the repair shop that my insurance company recommended. The first time I was at Granger’s I had some interior components replaced and I dealt with Sean throughout the process. First of all Sean was excellent, he was very polite and easy to work with. When I got my vehicle back I was very pleased with the quality of the work done and had no complaints. So everything was fine, my vehicle and been repaired nicely and I was on my way. A few days later I found another problem with my vehicle related to the flood damage and had to add additional repairs to my insurance claim and take my vehicle back to Granger’s for the additional repair work. For the additional repair work I worked with Mike and here is where my experience and quality of the repair work started to decline. As I started working with Mike I immediately was put off, Mike’s customer service skills were not great- he was not very polite and he did not call and give me updates on the repair of my vehicle which I specifically asked him to do (Sean gave me updates on the status of the repairs of my vehicle which I thought was very courteous and professional). When I confirmed with Mike that my vehicle repairs were complete I came into the shop to retrieve my vehicle. I had to come right at 5:00 PM (closing time) and they basically took my money and shoved me out the door. I got into my vehicle and immediately noticed that the entire driver’s seat area was FILTHY. My vehicle has very light gray leather seats and there was grease all over my seat where I presume a mechanic with grease on his clothes sat in my seat. There was grease all over the backrest of the seat, all over the steering wheel, all over the center console area, all over the side door pillars, and the center console cup holders and plastic cover around the gear shifter were not re-installed correctly. At this point I am very angry- I have given Granger’s now over $2,800 worth of business and this is how I am treated! Very unprofessional. So I drove home disgusted about how my vehicle was returned to me and immediately called the shop. Mike took my call and started apologizing and taking responsibility for the issue and assured me my vehicle would be fully detailed the next day and that Granger’s would provide me with a loaner car.So the next day as discussed (although it was huge hassle for me) I brought my vehicle back to Granger’s to be detailed. The loaner car they gave me was pathetic, as a loaner I received an early 2000’s Kia Optima that was seriously in rough shape. There were several cigarette burns on the cloth seats, the car smelled heavily of smoke, the door panels were mismatched, the exterior of the car was severely scratched, and the car was not mechanically sound as the brakes felt like they badly needed replaced and it vibrating horribly while accelerating. So luckily I only had to drive the crappy loaner for the day and was called that my vehicle was ready late that afternoon. At this point when I came back to the shop I was expecting to receive an in-person apology from Mike and to receive my vehicle back in a perfectly clean condition- unfortunately neither of these things happened. The shop was a busy when I came to pick up my vehicle and Mike didnt even bother to speak to me. And here’s the kicker, so after all this I open the door and inspect my vehicle – everything looked clean until I spot a freaking grease spot on the driver’s seat head rest! SERIOUSLY?! That was just unacceptable, if Mike cared at all about keeping my business he would have inspected my vehicle himself to make sure that everything was right. I didnt even bother to go back into the shop and talk to Mike, at this point Granger’s has lost my business forever and I would not recommend this repair shop.
Definetly recommend these guys to anyone needing body work!! Excellent work, friendly.. Just great all around service!
Good people,
My car came back perfect, good, honest, hardworking shop. Theres a reason they are known and trusted in the community.
This is the worst experience I have ever had. They told me to drop my car off before 10, i was there at 930. I was told they would call me around 1, to pick up my car. I called at 2:30 because I never heard from them. When I asked if my car was ready I wasaid pasted to the owner he answered ya, what do you need? I asked if my car was ready and he told me he just received my window at 12:30. When I asked why I wasnt contacted to know it would be later he said i guess i could have called but I was busy, ill call you in 30 mins. 1 hour went by, after hearing nothing I went to pick up my car. It was sitting out side, ready and they keys where inside. No one bothered to call me to let me know that my car was ready. I went out to my car and the glass they where supposed to clean was still all over the dash board. I asked for the owner he literally walked out and said now what? Never in my life have I ever dealt with such a rude customer service. This young man obviously doesnt understand customer service or how to work efficiently because it took him 6.5 hours to change a broken passenger window. I dont recommend his service.
Called to confirm a tow at noon, told me there would be 1.5 hour wait. Called at 1:30 and he told me it was a 4 hour wait and to call someone else. Then he hung up on me! Badly organized and rude customer service.
I called for a tow around 1 oclock in the afternoon. I mistakenly told the gentleman on the phone that my fiancee was broken down at corners dental at Madison and north superior but he was at Owens corning, on madison and superior. It could not have been more than 10 minutes before I called him back and gave him the correct name of the business that my fiancee was at, and I really do not understand what the big deal was considering I gave them the correct streets just wrong company name, but I was told that after driving around for 2 hours the tow truck driver returned to the shop. Now my fiancee was broke down at owens corning and the security there gave him from the time he broke down, 1 hour before they were going to call their own tow and have our car impounded. So after 2 hours of waiting and owens corning calling their own tow, I called Granger back and thats when I was told the driver could not find my car.Now I would think instead of driving in circles someone would have called me but...No, they didnt. By the time the truck ended up getting to my car, the impound truck already had it hooked up. So I had to pay the impound driver $80 to pull over and put my car down. That driver and my father in law exchanged some words because that truck had ripped the whole exhaust off the car. Finally its time for Granger to tow my car to the shop and he says he cant take it because the address I said and the address the shop gave him were different and if we wanted it taken there we needed to give him another 50 bucks on top of the 50 we already paid. So I call the shop. The guy on the phone tells me, no he is supposed to take it there and that he will call the driver. 15 minutes later my fiancee calls and says the guy is still refusing to tow the car. So I call the shop back again. The guy says he will take care of it.I get off work 3 hours later and my car is still in the same spot! So what do I do now..... I call again. At this point there had been so many problems I just wanted the guy to explain to me what happened and why it was never towed. But this time it was someone else I had not talked to and he starts going on and on about not being able to find it and how they waisted all their time trying to find the car in the first place and blah blah blah, all of that which was not my fault. Not my fault he couldnt find the place, not my fault they didnt call and ask where the car was. Then he tells me that they will come back for 50 bucks after already changing me 50 bucks to do absolutely nothing! So I try explaining to him that when I hung up the phone with the shop I was told everything was fine and it would be towed and again asked him what happened that now it wasnt towed. He starts screaming and cursing at me about everything that he and I already agreed had happened but still could not tell me what happened from the time I was told everything was fine to 3 hours later my car still in the same spot. So he curses at me some more and tells me to take my business elsewhere. I called back 13 times before the first guy I talked to got on the phone and talked to me. Every time I called the guy picked up and hung up without saying anything. So they ended up after about 6 hours total trying to get my car towed tell me well, Ill just refund your money but Im not doing it tonight, Ill do it in the morning when I get to it. Really? This is how you treat your customers after your tow driver cant find the corner of madison and superior and drive around for 2 hours instead of calling someone, causing my car to be almost impounded, not to mention the 80 bucks I had to pay that guy, and then when after all that you just want to know what happened you get cursed at and hung up on by some guy that sounds like hes got something stuck in his nose and then told well you have to wait until tomorrow to get your money back because you have already inconvenienced me enough today because I missed 4 tows while my guy was trying to find you! F#*&ing Really? Wow. Ok. Yes I will take my business elsewhere.
