Store is under remodeling, cant wait to see the improvements.This location is just one of the few places to recycle ♻️ your motor oil. I believe the community needs a engine coolant recycle point.I hope the improvements pep boys is making to this location will consider recycling ♻️ engine coolant.Or prompt the City of Thousand Oaks to research more locations within the city.
Just went to pep boys and Robert helped us out. He was absolutely amazing. Got everything taken care of extremely well and fast. He is extremely professional and extremely knowledgeable. I will def be back. Especially because of Robert. He was amazing!

Pep Boys has been here for decades. I dropped by here because I was back in the area visiting a friend and my battery died. They had all their bays filled but took me in nearing the end of the day by just parking in front of one of the stalls. They tested the battery, swapped out a new one, had me pay, and back on the road in 30 minutes. I miss the days when they had a full store you could browse while waiting but now I have a smartphone so all good. They were courteous and helpful the whole way. Thank you Pep Boys!

I want my car back right now. They said I can pick my car up now at 5:44pm I said I’ll be the around 6 depending on the traffic. I got there 6:15. They are closed. No contact, no communication. And the schedule says closes at 7pm both on their website and on google. I’m loosing my earning tonight and tomorrow morning. Can’t drive my 3 kids to their 3 different schools. Loosing my client. And I’m very stressed.

I would only give it a 2 star but some new staff have earned 3. I wouldnt recommend getting car done here only because they looked at my air filter and kindly forgot to put a new one in or even old one for that matter. 2 weeks later I find out while driving . Awesome. Honestly I would recommend autozone. Sorry but really ........
Horrible customer service very rude. Couldnt even give customer a call to let then know there car is ready and as I walked in there was employees just hanging out they looked at me and didnt say anything I literally had to ask for assistance worst place to take your car

Beyond rude. Emails had reported that my tires were in. Store counter person rudely claimed that they had not received them. No attempt made to get to the bottom of it. Out of $400 right now with no other alibi than FedEx who claims that they delivered the tires to Pep Boys
Very honest!Carlos and the rest of the crew have taken care of my car problems multiple times, and I feel confident that Ill get a fair quote and fast service anytime my car has an issue.I knew this location prioritizes honest workers since the first time I came to them, they admitted my cars issue was the fault of a different Pep Boys location and thus fixed the problem at no charge for me. It wouldve been very easy for them not to tell me the details and charge me a couple thousand dollars for the repair, but because of their honesty, theyve gained a customer for life.Give Carlos a raise, please! :)

This is an example of a business that would rather not deal with customers.They gave me such service that they hated I was there.I asked for the manager to try to fix things, but it was the manager who was servicing me.I do not know how they stay in business, they won’t see me again!
This pepboys has never disappointed me. The have great prices for car parts. They even honor online discount prices at the store. I will be changing the rear brakes on my car and they had all the parts in stock.
Really good service and all were friendly and attentive towards the guest & their car needs. We went for a tire fix because there was a screw in the tire. The men who helped my dad and I were great, super friendly and understanding. Would definitely recommend going and they’re pretty quick too!
Great, honest auto service/parts store. Just had car towed in due to battery issue where car wasnt starting. Just purchased the battery the same day and installed it. After car was towed to Pep Boys they came in to tell me I forgot to take off the plastic cap on the negative post! No charge. Out of there in 5 minutes.

I stopped into this Pep Boys to purchase new wiper blades. I know rain will come!After purchasing the blades, I asked if they could be installed. No sooner did I drive around to their work bay, did a gentleman come ask how he could be of help. In the blink of an eye, the blades were on the car! Amazing!Only reason not 5 stars is I was quoted a lower price for the blades when I called.
How person can took my money and didn’t do the work! If store can’t do the alignment on that Saturday store could just tell me. Please come back other day. I will not drive for hundreds miles risk my life on the road.I forget you. Please when do the business, consider the morality, honesty, and other people life. Other people life is on the tires on your hands.
Carlos did an excellent job in customer service and showing that he actually cares to earn our business. He applied so many discounts and priced match to ensure that we didnt have to sacrifice our level of care to save a buck. Amazing job.
Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Im rating the service. My car is rubbing like its brand new! Carlos was really helpful and did a great job of explaining what I needed for my car! I believe the mechanic who did the work was named Manuel. That guy is a machine! He was working on 3 cars at once including mine and still did an excellent job! That being said I do miss the old layout of the store. It feels like there is not as large of a selection of parts/accessories to browse while waiting for your vehicle.
They are shorthanded and not the best in customer service skills.

Pep Boys consistently saves me money on car repairs! The Jeep dealer wanted $250 for a tail light PLUS labor. Pep Boys only charged $67 for the same part. Michele at the repair counter is always super helpful. Repairs and oil changes are always completed quickly. I highly recommend this Pep Boys for any repairs!

My girl stopped by at 6:30 PM with fast leak in her tire....they said they could not patch it because it was by the sidewall. And it was too late to put on a new tire, she ask begged please can you put the spare on for her. She lives in Fillmore and was scared to drive that far .they told her no. Not one man in that whole shop.

Made an appointment online. Received an email confirming the appointment. Six minutes later received an email Sorry you couldnt make your recent service appointment with us — do you want to set another time?I didnt do anything to cancel the appointment. The only clue i have is when I made the appointment online I checked a box requesting that someone contact me to discuss additional details.
The guys and girls in here are very helpful. Pep Boys always has a great selection of car parts that are actually in stock! They have an auto bag outside with multiple mechanics to work on your car as well.
I went in to pick up brakes and brake rotors for my Sons car, as l was getting it ready to ship to Guam, where he is currently serving in the U.S. Air Forces. I also picked up brakes for my wifes Chevy Malibu and for my Chevy Avalanche. They had in stock everything that l needed. So, l didnt have to make any other stops to get these parts that l needed. The Manager Joseph was very helpful!
They scratched my car on purpose because I asked them to check my brakes. The manager let their employees drive off with my car and do god knows what. I came here because a few years ago I had a good experience but never again. I even tipped them and the Mexican manager greedily took it.
I am always able to find the parts for my old car, that l needed. The staff always helpful and knowledgeable. I like that they move the parts desk to the front as this got, staff to be more responsive :-) when backlogged.Nice ppl always!!

Not very happy with this place. I went there for an oil change. I had called and made an appointment. They said that I had no appointment. They said they would rotate my tires and then they didnt. When it came time to return my car, nobody knew where it was. They said that they put in a certain amount of oil but put less. Of course, they took payment in full. Never going here again, ever.
Frank was the best! I was going to purchase a brake light with the part number right from my truck. He looked up the information and redirected me to the correct part. The cashier was very friendly. Great Customer Service!!!

Customer service was knowledge and on top of things. I wish there was WiFi in the waiting room. Also the windows to the car bays are blacked out so you cant watch your car being worked on.
Went specifically for 5 gal oil w a rebate . Tried to submit next day system was unavailable . Called in manager was not avail and they said try tmrw . Never going back there. Autozone, Napa, and Oriellys within spitting distance . PB always been Back of the pack . Next oil jug was purchased online, went str8 to their manufacture site submitted rebate and got it in a few weeks . I shouldnt need to try several times online and call in repeatedly.

I went here for a conventional oil change and my engine light was on. I already knew what was wrong. The mechanic changing my oil came to me and said he knew what the problem with my car was, that he had the parts to fix it and asked if I wanted him to fix it for me. I had plans to fix it the next day myself, so I thanked him and said no thanks.Regardless, the guy fixed the small problem with my car anyways (He said it didnt take any time), and my car has never run better.Im so thankful I could cry. The worst possible place to buy anything relating to your car or servicing your car. Products and services sold here can often be found for 50% less at just about any other retailer. My absolute last choice for anything automotive related. Look elsewhere.
Inside customer service sucks they ignore you dont offer much help you end up standing around not confused. But on this particular day one of the mechanics was actually really nice and saw I needed help while at my car and helped me out when he didnt have too. Nice guy but everyone else here is useless.

The technicians that worked on my car screwed up a simple tire rotation and alignment. It took them 3 1/2 hours and all they did was an oil change. When I asked to speak with a manager they then sabotaged my vehicle by swapping the tires on the right side with the tires on the left so they would then be rotating in the opposite direction they had been - something every single person in the shop knows is absolutely wrong, and will ruin your tires. They intentionally did this in about 5 minutes after I asked the manager why it took 2 hours longer than they estimated. It was obvious they did this because my rims have scrapes on them and I know which tire was front right and which was front left - they moved them from right to left but not front to back. This is such a simple process an error is not really possible - it was definitely deliberate. Go ANYWHERE else. These guys are either completely incompetent or they are causing criminal vandalism. Nobody wants/needs either of those options. Negative 5 *

I am always willing to support local business and rarely give one star to local business, but I had to on this one. I had service multiple times with this location, and I think management really need to step up and train employees. Pricing fairly without quality service leave customer feel very bad at the end. I keep getting empty promises, nothing was follow through. You really have to be a mechanic yourself to talk to these people

Today I had a most wonderful experience at Pep Boys. Outstanding service. I am a Senior in WLV the place was packed with cars being worked. I spoke to Manager Ivan. I said I can come back tomorrow. He insisted he could work me in, so he said, just go pick up the part and he would take care of me. He personally did the job in 15 min himself. If I would have taken anywhere else it would cost this Senior 3 times as much. So thank you Ivan Angelino. You were my ANGEL or I would be driving with no head lights. I will be back and I will recommend your place to friends. The staff inside was also extra nice to me.
Wow this place is a world within itself. No consistency in how the product supply will be but tons of stuff you. Don’t need at a premium price. Always junk on the ground in the parking lot and if you get your car services done here well you reap what you sow. The staff is kinda nice but overall it’s like you want to avoid pep boys.
They managed to replace all 4 tires in about 30 mimutes and the price was great too. Wow.

I scheduled Lyft Car Inspection appointment in this place. When I come nobody knows how it works and send me to get inspection form from nowhere. So I couldnt get that form. Terrible customer service. If you accept Lyft drivers for theirs car inspection please train your staff to do so! I just wasted time here!

Had my oil changed at Pep Boys... I made an appointment online days in advance, yet still waited in line when I got there. When they pulled my appointment up on their computers, it came up with the wrong information. I thought.. no biggie, computers screw up. Then they told me it would be at least an hour - even with an appointment?? It ended up taking 2 hours before I could pick up my car. When they called me to let me know my oil was done, they were AGAIN looking at the wrong paperwork and started talking about an electrical diagnosis that I hadnt ordered. I had to tell them 3 times that I didnt write that on my order form. Then, they tried to tell me my power steering fluid was low, and it would ONLY cost 50 DOLLARS to fill. fyi power steering fluid is like $5. Then they tried to sell me a fuel system cleaning for ONLY $90. A bottle of fuel system cleaner is $10. Apparently because Im female, I must know nothing about cars or car maintenance, because thats how they treated me.
Appointment at noon. Arrived a few minutes early. Took almost 1 1/2 hours for a conventional oil change. The waiting room is right next to the garage and you can hear everything the employees say even complaints about their job. And the cussing is unbelievable!!!

Walked in and asked how long the wait would be for an oil change, and was told it could take up to two hours. I was told to make an appointment the following day, and would be in and out in 45 minutes.The following day, I came in about 15 minutes before my scheduled appointment, and ended up sitting in the waiting room for an hour before they even took the car into the shop.Theres no point in making an appointment, youre still going to wait two hours.
Dont bother. I made an appointment online, and when I got there I showed my email confirmation and was told, Oh I dont use that. I use my system. If you arent scheduled when I printed this sheet out first thing in the morning, your appointment gets cancelled. If this is the case, appointments should not be listed as available online. Waste of time - wont go back.
Over priced...the 5 qt jug of motor oil is nearly double the price that I found on Amazon for the same stuff. I want to change my oil Saturday and thought it would just be easier to pick it up...but not at that price.

[Strike #1] When I arrived for a scheduled appointment for a routine alignment & tire rotation/balance the Service Rep claimed my appointment was not in his system & put me last in line, so I had to uber to other appts instead of waiting for what is normally a quick job.[Strike #2] When I returned [at the time I was told to] nothing was done, except my car was driven for 4 miles & had been reset from valet mode to race mode.[Strike #3] When I asked the service rep why it was not finished they told me the tires were at zero & needed to be replaced. The problem with that; I am a retired NIASE/ASE certified master automotive tech, repair shop owner, & B.A.R. member that inspected & measured those high-performance tires before making the appointment. I did not ask them to replace the tires because they were not worn down to the wear bars, did not measure at zero, were evenly worn, & will not need to be replaced for many thousands of miles.[Strike #4] There was/is no reason not to align it.[Strike #5] I should have been called by a Service Rep before I returned
Horrible service had a1 ocock appmnt for my daughter she wasnt out of there till 4 occlock and still wanted to chrge her for full synthetic after we made a apmmnt for conventional !! nvr again going there !!!

I had an 8am appt was out of there at 804am, they were very fast and professional with dealing with the issue at hand. I am a very reasonable individual and I prevuously gave this location a 5 star rating. I had to come back and edit my rating because I felt confident bringing my car back to them for a oil change however, when they performed the oil change they forgot to follow procedure and clear the oil service code on my car, which leads one to believe 1 or 2 things, did they even change the oil or are they too lazy to follow procedure and clear the code aftee performing work?!? Understand, clearing the code should only take max 5 min unless they are not knowledgable of what to do. So, I came back to the location after noticing that the code had not been cleared, only to be given attitude by the mechanics about them fixing an issue they caused because of 1 of the 2 issues previously discussed. I went inside and spoke to the manager, Michele (I believe) she remembered me and when I told her I just needed the code cleared, she immediately said lets go outside and get that code cleared. As I met her outside and she requested one of the mechanics clear the code, I was witness to the disrespect and attitude the mechanic to the manager who said, Im the only one that can clear the code, so it will have to wait because, Im busy, and 3 cars to deal with. Maybe Im being inconsiderate or pessimistic but thats no way to talk to a manager and for a problem caused by their lazy work that doesnt take long to remedy, I find the attitude by the mechanic to be piss poor. I DO NOT recommend you bring any vehicle to this shop.

Took 4 hours for an oil change even though I had an appointment. Then they lost the paperwork and key and they werent sure if they actually changed the oil, so they had to put it back on the rack to verify. No apologies. Must be the norm.
I dont like the store remodel. They dont have nearly as much product to purchase. I am more loyal to Autozone because they always have what I want. I would go to Pepboys because a mechanic I know who has worked for Conejo school dist. had preference for Pepboys. Also at Pepboys, even though it was a large selection, it was a lot of random bs and not the products I expected them to carry. Like they wouldnt even usually have Valvoline High Mileage oil. Its a very common motor oil...
