I was visiting Gallardos for scheduled maintenance frequently during COVID and found them to be professional, kind, and they provided amazingly quick service. There was even one day when my battery wasnt working so I called them and they verbally instructed me and then let me come by for them to check on it that same day. Im very grateful for the care that they have taken in providing me the very best of service!

Very friendly! My power steering went out and I was 3 hours away from home. I brought my car here and they got it in to have a look and diagnose the issue right away. I wound up driving the car home to have the repairs done by my regular mechanic since the part was not in stock and I wouldve needed to stay in the area overnight, but they were still very helpful and understanding. 10/10 would definitely use this shop if I happened to break down here again! XD

I was passing through TO on a 4 day drive to Colorado, where I was moving with my two dogs and we had to drive through Death Valley later that day, when my AC goes out. Panicked, I called around to 4 different auto places and Gallardo’s was the the only one willing/able to take me on such short notice. They were very friendly and efficient and got me out within an hour. Cold air blowing strong! Lifesavers!

Had a water pump changed for over 400$ was adivsed I should replace the belt along with it to prevent any future issues. One day before christmas ( 3 weeks after pump and. Belt change )I was driving and what do you know ths serpentine belt broke and I was out of a car . Had to sit on the highway with my car screeching and rubber burning ... Do not trust this place wish I never went alone and brought a male with me. Young females watch out for this place!!

I dropped off my vehicle and only a few days later was near complete repair. The conversations that I had with the shop involved very professional inarticulate way a framing a problem and delineating the various attempts to address it including finding a hard to find part to avoid having to buy a larger component that included that part. Ultimately they were very forthright and honest and their work ethic and highly communicative it was a pleasant experience all around very impressed and glad to have them in the local community.

I have been to many mechanics because I travel a lot and Gallardos was THE BEST! Everyone was so nice and they even asked if I needed a ride somewhere while the car was in the shop. As someone who doesnt know anything about cars, I am always a little worried. When the inspection was done, I got an email/text with the results. There were photos, explanations and test results so I could understand what we were dealing with. When I got back to the shop and spoke to the mechanic, he took the time to explain everything, answer all my questions, and not pressure me to do things that he felt could be done at a later date. I truly felt like his motivation was making sure the car was safe, setting the car up to run a long time, and saving me money. He even had a new license plate light brought over from a nearby shop and installed it for me free of charge. I would go out of my way to go back to this shop!

I had previously taken my vehicles for the last 40 years to the local car dealer because I thought they knew my vehicle and needs best. After my son took his truck with 50,000 miles on it and was very happy with it. Gallardos has been knowledgeable with the vehicles I brought to them. They provided comprehensive diagnostics and always thoroughly explained the repairs but then suggested the severity of the need. The dealers ALWAYS said everything was needed. This was my second visit to Gallardo’s in six months. I needed two parts replaced on the first visit but just didn’t have it in my budget. They gave me no pressure. When I scraped the money together and came back, the price had not changed. In fact, it was actually a few dollars less than their original quote. While I was waiting for my car to be repaired, I commented that I needed to replace the battery in my remote key. I didn’t even buy the battery there but without skipping a beat, they replaced it for me on the spot.Anyone can have a good experience on a single visit but I think that I’ve actually found a gem here. I will be happy to recommend Gallardo’s to anyone who needs an honest, reliable mechanic.

I went to the Ford dealer first and was not happy with the estimate they gave me or the customer service experience. I went to Gallardo’s for a second opinion. They were much more thorough in their diagnostic and estimate. Top notch customer service. I felt their pricing was fair and that they really took the time to educate me on my options. A friend referred me to them and now I will be referring others. My expedition is driving better than it has in years.

I have a 2014 Ford C Max . I realized my horn was not working . Realizing that this is a safety hazard, they had me bring in my car first thing the next morning . My truck broke down on the 101 on center divider at 7am on a Saturday and the tow truck driver recommended Gallardos so I took their advice. I had probly the best experience I’ve had with a mechanic. They took a look at it and were able took fox it that morning even though they were busy. They were polite, efficient, and able to explain clearly what was going on. I would highly recommend them and I will definitely use them again if I need something.

My truck broke down on a Saturday afternoon driving from Northern CA to Palm Springs. I am fortunate that I found Gallardos to repair my truck. They are very competent, caring and efficient. It was a big expensive repair, but surprisingly reasonable for the amount of work.I had the truck towed to Gallardos on Saturday afternoon.. The owner, John, checked it out quickly hoping that I might get back on the road that same day. Unfortunately it needed the rear end replaced. The part was not available on Saturday but early Monday John was able to locate a used rear end assembly (which saved me a ton of money and was faster than a rebuilt part) and they had me on the road Monday evening. John and his wife kept me informed on the progress of the repair, and kept the shop open late on Monday to finish up.When you have a auto breakdown in a unknown city, you must rely on the kindness (and competence) of strangers. I was fortunate to have stumbled on Gallardos. If I lived in the area I would definitely have them care for my cars.

The Gs have been servicing our familys 4 cars since the early part of Barrys White House days. And now, though weve all had to put up with hot stormy weather in ways and places that we didnt see coming, Gallardos has remained rock steady in continuing its honest, dependable, affordable, and top-notch service to repeat/regular customers like me. Plus hospitality is a strong suit--hot coffee and pastries are served in their customer/TV room while you wait, or theyll drive you where you need to be if you cant, then take you back when the jobs done. Now, thats what I call excellent customer service!

I have never before received such great customer service from an auto repair shop or any other service related industry. I was treated exceptionally well at Gallardos. Prior to the visit to Gallardos I went to Silverstar Chevrolet where I encountered a multitude of problems, especially with customer service and communication. I left Silverstar Chevrolet with a 300+ bill and unfixed car. After this experience I brought my car into Gallardos for testing. The employees at Gallardos were extremely impressive. They went above and beyond to ensure that I was a happy customer. They would call morning and night to ensure that I was aware of the situation and give me updates about the car. I left the car there for 5 days due to abnormality of the car’s problem. However, during this time the mechanics were unable to definitively without a doubt figure out the problem with the car. The mechanics explained to me the situation in detail and were unable to fix the car. My car was in the shop for 5 days, I was not charged a dime because they couldnt provided the service I had hoped for. I was and am very impressed with how this business is operated. After a short period of time my car began to show more definitive signs and symptoms and I brought the car into Gallardos again. They were able to solve the problem almost immediately this time and I was charged a super competitive rate that I was very happy about. I can not recommend this auto shop enough. They were extremely helpful in a time of stress. Thank you to the Gallardos team!
