After using Mikes foreign sports for the first time I was very pleased. The work done was excellent and in a timely manner. The price I feel was very fair. And Sean the manager was very polite and explained everything to me down to the smallest detail. I definitely recommend this place.

My 2007 Passat wagon is just shy of 200k miles and I am determined to squeeze every last mile out of it before buying a new car. Especially now with Covid driving car prices through the roof. Sean and the team at Mikes Foreign Sports have pulled a lot of miracles to keep my baby on the road, but this one tops them all. I had a leak problem and like everything currently, the part needed to fix it was out of stock. Sean stayed on the pursuit for TEN DAYS. He got the part, fixed the leak, the cars running great and all at a reasonable price. I love these guys. You just wont find better. Im a customer for life (my life not the life of my old wagon).

They are worth every star! I was recently making an out of area purchase on an older Porsche. Had lots of questions rgd this vehicle and ongoing maintenance etc. I stopped in and Robert spent time answering all my questions. After purchasing, I brought my new car in immediately to do a thorough inspection. I was absolutely blown away by the detailed report that they provided. All necessary items were addressed along with a game plan for ongoing service. If you are looking for an honest, fairly priced shop that does great work, look no further.

Great experience. Brought my 99 Boxster in with major electrical system malfunctions. They diagnosed and repaired the failed ignition assembly and solved the related electrical problems. Fairly priced and knowledgable about the issue. Even worked me in last minute while they were busy. Highly recommended.

We loved our experience with Mike’s Foreign Sports. We have a 944 Porsche that has had issues starting for the past 2 years. We took it in, and they called us a few days later saying it was ready. When we picked it up, it wouldn’t start, so they took it back and ordered a new part. When it was done, they told us we didn’t have to pay for the $480 part because of the inconvenience. We offered to pay 50%, but they insisted that it was free of charge. They were so courteous and made a stressful experience great. We will continue going to this business as we have for 25 years.

I have owned cars from pretty much every luxury brand over the years, utilizing a wide variety of dealer and independent garages while living in different cities in Europe and the USA. Mikes Foreign Sports is the best garage I have ever used, and I will tell you why:Technical Competence: These guys know what they are doing, they have both excellent mechanics and the latest equipment required to work on modern cars. Their work is to the same standard or better than any dealer I have used. They only work on brands that they are competent with, they would not work on a sportscar I own but recommended another garage which could.Price: Their price for labor and parts are consistent and fair. They charge considerably less than dealers for the same parts and same quality of work.Honesty: For me, this is the biggest factor in why I feel Mikes is such a great business. They are completely honest when it comes to getting work done on your car. If your car can do another five thousand miles before new brakes, they will tell you. They wont bill you for unnecessary work. I am a car guy, I know about cars, I got fed up with MB service dept recommending pointless and extremely expensive work for problems that didnt exist. These guys wont do that.I highly recommend this garage.

Ive been a customer of Mikes Foreign Sports for over 20 years. They have maintained all of my cars including my 97 Lexus SC400, wifes BMW 525, and several Hondas and Toyotas. Their service and repairs are excellent, and they are truly the guys you can trust for all car repairs. I have never been over charged in all these years and the repairs are done to my satisfaction every time. Quality repairs normally same day using dealer parts. The Lexus now has 300k miles and runs like its brand new. Theyre the best.

They are Professionals the moment you step in their shop, where Greg welcomes you with a big smile, and then informs you (in terms you can actually understand) on how best they can handle your needs. You drop off your vehicle, and not too long after, he will call you with his assessment after the geniuses in the shop troubleshoot the issues. My BMW Genius is Fernando...there are several others. Their estimates are accurate and their turn-around time is legit. Greg will offer alternative options with your repairs, just when you think there arent any. Youll get a concise breakdown of other issues with your vehicle you may not be aware of, and they wont pressure you for immediate repairs, but will take the time to educate you on the ramifications if you dont, and its all logged into their database for future reference. Listen, if these guys werent righteous, you think Id be going back to them for so many years? Give them a try. You wont be disappointed.

Went to them because my 07 bug wouldnt start. They tried running diagnostics and killed the battery. 2 days later the battery is charged and they tell me i need a part that apparently doesnt exist anymore. Because the car wont start. I found the part online ordered it and kept the car there so they can install it when it arrives. My husband decided to have it towed back home and when he went to get the car he jumped in the car and it started! It still needs work however I will not be taking any cars here and will find a more competant mechanic. 0/10 dont go here. And i wasnt offered a discount.

Our 2007 Mercedes needed maintenance (Oil change, etc.) so we took it to Mikes. They did a very excellent job. They recommended service items but were not pushy. The final bill was less than the quote. They were neat and professional both in person and the shop. We will return.

I relinquished a reservation for the Tesla Model 3 because of Mikes Foreign Sports. I have a 5-series BMW which I love and a great mechanic...why would I want a car that Im uncertain of each time I get into it? I didnt. Although at this point, my 2009 BMW requires maintenance, I trust Mike and his shop to keep me safe and my car purring with delight. This is a marriage made...well, in Thousand Oaks!

I have been a customer at Mikes Foreign Sports for 1.5 years. I moved from NY to the Thousand Oaks area in 2015. Needed service on my ML320, at first went to Silver Star Mercedes for a couple of years, competent service, but high prices. At Mikes you get excellent and honest service. Mikes knowledge and his staff not only give you excellent workmanship on all German vehicles, but all makes and models of vehicles. When I had my vehicle serviced at Silver Star for a door latch it cost me over $800, another of the door latches had the same problem. Mike did 0.5 hrs of labor and corrected the problem, a dealer would have replaced the latch with a new one, another $800+ nightmare. At Mikes Foreign Sports you get honest assessments and corrections, not gouging you for your hard earned money! If you want it done right, go to Mikes.

DONT GO HERE!!!!If I could give NEGATIVE stars - I would!This guy is the biggest scam in town! If I wanted to pay Dealership prices, I would have taken my BMW to the Dealership!My wife took our BMW 335i to check out a small oil leak. HE took advantage of her, just because she is a woman!!! He quoted $1,360 to replace 2 gaskets/seals in the oil filter housing, replace the upper radiator hose & oil and oil filter change! MY mechanic in Newbury Park quoted me $690 for all the above services!! Rusnak BMW in Thousand Oaks quoted $1,400 for all the above services!THE EVENT...My wife dropped off the vehicle on Wednesday evening at closing time - i was on my way to pick her up when she called and stated that Mike offered to take her home. (nice move dude)...So I turned around and was headed back home... several minutes later, my wife called and asked me to pick her up at the Starbucks on T.O. Blvd and Rancho Road, because Mikes tire broke off on T.O. Boulevard!! His truck was halfway in the entrance of the Starbucks!! (nice move dude... try the my car ran out of gas move next time).So I pickup my wife.The next morning my wife texted me asking me to get a price on the service (listed above) - I gave her the $690 quote and I asked her what Mike had quoted. She told me DOUBLE!!! And I said, NO, well take it to our regular mechanic - who works on my Mercedes S500, Toyota Corolla and Expedition (using only dealer parts)!! Then my wife told me that she gave him the OK to do the work.So I then called Mike immediately and told him NOT to do the work! He informed me that his guys had it torn-a-apart already. I told him that the his price is way too high... and a few other things. I then called the wife back and we discussed it. She then had to call Mike back and tell him to proceed, since he is already charging us for at least 2 hours labor ($120 per Hr) to take the car apart!! She respectfully requested that he do what he can to reduce his price significantly... (I would not be able to contain myself).I called the dealership to get a price. SAME freaking price!My wife picked up the car this afternoon. He charged her $1,340. Gee Whiz! He gave us a $20 dollar discount!!! Woweee!! What a guy!!Why not just take your car directly to the Dealership, if Mike is going to charge Dealership prices!!!The entire point of going to a private shop - is PRICE!!DO NOT GO HERE!!!
