Even though I was told 30 minutes for my wait time and had to wait longer...Anna did a great job on my lashes and brows.

Upon arriving at the the store a little after 12, we told the man at the front desk we were getting nails done for two people. He pointed to the check in device and walked off. We proceeded to check in and sit down. We were ignored for around an hour before being told to sit down at the nail desk. We sat there for an additional 15 minutes or so minutes before someone handed us nail samples and walked off while we were trying to ask if they were gel or dip. My friend ended up shortly afterwards being told to change chairs. We ended up asking someone else working there how much longer and they said “soon.” Shortly after, we learn that the nail samples given were gel not dipped as we had asked. So, we got to waste more time choosing our colors all over again. Around 1:45, someone finally started working on my nails. However, while removing my previous polish, they told me to move over and let him do someone else’s nails (who was not at the at the store when we had first got there) that walked right in and sat down in middle of him doing my nails No explanation was given. All I was told was to move down. I would not have done so had I realized they were going to stop working on my nails. They then proceeded to make me sit with my nails dipped in a bowl full of acetone. My friend ended up finishing having her previous polish removed and asked that I go ahead of her as today was my birthday. By this point, my hands were COVERED in the black polish that had been being removed. The new person started to work on removing the remaining polish then asked the length I wanted of my nails. I said the same length as my shortest nail. He then clipped all my others. THEN, he asked what shape I wanted. After telling him oval, he said I should have told him that before he cut then because he cut them too short for that. I ask him about how to get all the black polish off my hands, and he finds it funny and half heartily removes some of it with even more acetone. He eventually asks us if we want drinks. I say yes, and ask for a coke. He walks off, and I never did get my coke. By the end of it, my nails were different lengths, multiple nails are very streaky. It’s around 2:40 by this point. I don’t have the energy to point out all the issues as I did have birthday plans and this was supposed to be a relaxing morning. My poor friend who treated me to this had yet to even have her nails done even though other techs were working on other customers who had arrived AFTER us. She’s frustrated and just told them to not worry about hers and let us pay. We originally decided to go because only two nail places in town are open on Sundays. As I don’t have a regular nail place I frequent, it was a great chance for them to earn a loyal customer. Instead, I will never go back. I will never recommend. And, even if it’s a Sunday and everywhere else is closed, it’s not worth it. Incredibly poor communication with customers. We had 0 clue what was going on the entire time because so little was said to us. I still don’t understand why one tech stopped doing my nails halfway through. The whole experience was 100% unprofessional. And, there were no apologizes or accommodations made because they genuinely did not see the issue. They even had the nerve to ask my friend if she’d come back tomorrow to have her nails finished. While the timing of it all was frustrating, I would not have minded waiting if I knew what I was getting into. The pure unprofessional way things were done and the lack of communication put a huge damper on what’s supposed to be a day of celebration. Even better was that the guy who checked us out told me I should have a birthday reward for 15% off and when I told him I didn’t receive a text with one he said oh, use it next time once you get it. Well, there won’t be a next time.

THIS WAS THE WORST NAIL EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD! The gel manicure I received was trash it had hair in it along with bubbles in it. The man got the nail polish all over nails and skin then proceeded to try and file it off the skin and doing so continues to file my nail to the point of pain and bleeding! I will never go back and hope no one else goes to this place!!!!

I went to get a pedicure last Saturday with gel because gel is supposed to last a month (per nail artist). On Wednesday, my gel polish was coming off. I went to get it corrected by Kandi — she did a marvelous job ; however, here I am on Saturday with the same job due to the incorrect install on last Saturday . I went in to have it fixed — called prior to going and the guy who originally did my toes corrected it with an attitude— told me to come back because they were busy . Just as bad as he didn’t want to fix my toes, trust me I didn’t want to return . You don’t purchase anything with intents that it will be messed up ! You want longevity out of it ! I won’t ever return & they will NEVER get a penny out of me again !

Staff is great and services are done exactly as I ask.

Came in to get my nails done sat there in hour with every one ignoring me when the lady finally gets to my nails I show her a photo of how I would like my nails and tell her acrylic not only did she put gel after I asked for regular polish but its only been two days and my polish is peeling and chipping almost all of my nails dont fit then she charges me 50$ I AM EXTREMELY UPSET and will not ever come here again this is crazy

Steven provided a good service. It wouldve been better had he not been playing a casino have on his phone while doing my nails. Then, I selected a color based on their samples but when he applied it, it was darker. When I expressed my disdain for the color, he continued as if he didnt hear me. Because I initially selected the color, I let him finish but I left unhappy. Yes, I voiced it. He didnt seem to care. The service was good, other people complimented it was pretty but I just wasnt happy. If he would have offered to fix it, I would have given a 5 because the customer is always right.

I will never go back to them. I got my nails done and 6 days later 3 nails were replaced(1 broken, 1 fell off and 1 about to fall off) due to being poor work...here i am 5 days later and i have another broken nail on the same hand...I will not be going back because the guy that repaired them...he and I didnt agree and this makes no sense...i have been getting acrylic nails for over 25 years and Ive NEVER HAD THESE MANY ISSUES...I also tried them despite 9 people telling me not too...

This place was terrible! it sucked! filed finger nails down very short and hurt and almost made them bleed. the gel does not even feel like gel and it is all over the finger nail and on the skin!

The people in here were so kind and did such a great job on their pedicures. I had my kids with me and they were so patient with them and had no issue that they were there. We will be back for sure!! You guys are awesome! Also the salon was very clean and modern. Would recommend!

Ive been going to Modern Nails for about 15 years. Lee Ann, the owner is friendly and treat me like family. Over these years, Ive seen a few customers whove walked through the door with bad attitude. They do not let one bad apple spoil the rest, they try their best to make the customer as comfortable and satisfied as they can.

I went here to get a simple manicure and pedicure. I waited too long and they put a customer who walked and after me in front of me. When I said something about it no one did anything. The whole time I was sitting in the pedicure chair I felt like they were just trying to finish me up to get to the next customer and they tried to push products on me. The woman working on my feet was on the phone the whole time. If you want a relaxing nurturing experience, dont go here.

Daughter had nails done they quoted $40 then charged her $60 and not even 30 minutes later one of the nails broke. She had to go back and have it redone.

Was very COVID safe. Only allowing a few clients at a time. Making it mandatory to wear make.

Never again! Eighty dollars, and eight days late my gel polish was lifting on my hand and toes. I called to have it fixed. He didnt even clean the polish off to reapply product, just painted over them. Left me in the chair while curing polish and walked out the door...not a word. Headed to another salon to have toes redone.

Today February 7, 2020 between the hours of 3 and 4 had the basic professional pedicure i would recommend this pampering service ! My feet are happy feet now !

If I could give more than 5 stars I definitely would!Upon arrival, I was real impressed by the cleanliness of the salon. It took about 2 minutes for them to get set up and started with me. Great customer service - Its an affonable price! High recommend!

Nails are ok not the best

We did have a wait because they were really busy but they did a great job and were really nice especially considering I had my two-year-old granddaughter with me to get a pedicure also. They were really patient with her and even fixed her nail when she messed it up before it had dried.

First time there. Cut my cuticles so many times and just kept telling me they weren’t bleeding. I felt that was a pretty low bar. Now a few days later one is infected and others still hurt. My friend said her pedicure was fine so maybe it’s just the one tech. Not okay.

My first time getting my nails done and I was very impressed on how they turned out!! The salon was clean and very friendly staff. Highly Highly Recommend!!!!!

Love Modern Nails and my technician is really gentle with handling pedis. Its great. Though I dont get dolled up often, my experience here makes me want to. Im coming back for sure.

I called ahead to see if they were busy. I was on my lunch break and short on time. (I had an appointment at another salon but they were backed up and overbooked me). I let the tech know my timeframe up front. He told me it was fine they could bring me in with no problem. I went in and sat for 30 minutes while 2 other people got started ahead of me. Not one word was said to me until I got up to leave and then he said he was almost finished and I was next. Out of time and full of frustration, I left and will never go back.

I took my daughter and a friend here for a last minute birthday mani/pedi and this place was just wonderful!!! The staff is top notch, they are friendly and amazing at their craft. I got my nails done as well and I can’t say enough about how pleased I am. I have two very happy little girls and I’m happy. We will be back for sure!!!

The color i got was pretty... but i asked for gel acrylic set and got a completely different set. nails looked horrible. the guy stopped at the beginning to get on his phone and mid way to take a smoke break. i paid less than normal but would have rather paid regular price than this!

Rushed on my eyebrows. Told her to leave them thick she waxed them super thin . She also went too far in on the middle. Horrible. She didn’t even apologize

Nice place to go people thier do an awesome job on your nails and they dont cut you and arent rough the place isnt the biggest but it isnt the smallest either.

Make sure you check your account and or receipt. I paid $45 for a service and was charged later for $65. I also went to reconcile the situation. I was told to call my bank or wait about a week, the extra should be returned, its my bank that did it, so they say. Lesson learned!!!!
