Really good, nice people! They do very good nails there.

I recently moved to Pike County and so I was so excited to try A Nails and hopefully make them my regular nail salon. Unfortunately my first visit will be my ONLY visit here. I set my appointment for 5 p.m. on a Wednesday. When I arrived and checked in the gentleman at the front of the shop gave me a odd card with the number 24 on it, told me to wash my hands and where to sit. As I went to wash my hands I noticed the shop was hot, muggy and very cramped. After finding the station I was told to sit at I waited for 45 minutes. Not once did anyone stop to greet me, ask if I needed anything or let me know how much longer I would be waiting...and definitely not to apologize for inconveniencing me and running late. At the 50 minute mark I got up to leave. As I was walking out the man said You pay here I looked at him ad laughed then said Pay for what, wasted time? I had a 5 p.m. appointment, that was a hour ago. In the 50 minutes I sat here not one single person working here so much as looked my way or spoke to me after you told me to wash my hands and where to sit. He responded by telling me it was beyond his control because they got so busy and when I said thats why I made a appointment he simply said yea but they come before you get here I just shook my head said have a blessed day and left with a smile. I then went to nail luv down the street (in the same shopping center as Walmart). They had a cool, clean, spacious shop with a nail tech named Kim who got me seated right away and did a EXCELLENT job on my nails! Nail Luv will now be my regular nail salon!!

Last week one of the ladies didnt want to fill the bowl with water to do my feet and this week another lady went so fast on my eyebrows now they look a mess with an unnecessary gash in it. Im never coming back. Poor quality. I waited 30 mins to an hour to get my brows done just to receive trash service. I am displeased, to say the least.

I went here today for the first time. I loved it and will go back soon!

I love getting sns at a nails but on Monday i went and got some sns I sat down and a teenager started doing my nails and when I first got there I noticed her phone kept going off but I had no problem with that until she started to look at her phone while she did my nails,she didn’t pay much attention to doing my nails she kept doing things rong and not fixing it.Today is Thursday I got my nails done on Monday and my nails started to come off a little today and they didn’t look good anyways so I tryed to get them off but they won’t come off.Biggest wast of money,they lasted 3 days I am not happy!this does not mean I won’t go there anymore but next time I’ll make sure I get one of the older more professional workers to do my nails!

This was our first time in there. This place was very clean and the staff was very friendly. I failed to get the techs name that did my fiances manicure, but he was awesome. This was my first time watching someone get a manicure and have nails put on. If youve never been here then go in and give them a try. I think youll enjoy their services.

My daughter and I went in with examples of SNS nails we wanted. We left with exactly what we asked for. Great service. They’re always busy but they always do a great job.

Went yesterday for lashes and brow. Young lady did great waxing my brows. On the other hand, while I was getting my lashes did the girl was placing the lashes on Wrong. I had the mirror and was telling her she was doing them wrong she did not have enough glue and the lashes were thin cheap... While in the chair my right lash came almost off. She placed more glue on my real lash!!! Ughh!! By the time I got inside Taco bell in the same parking lot really. The cashier informed me that my left lash was coming off... I was so embarrassed just got them done.. so I went back today and after arguing with the young inexperienced girl she finally added my glue and glued it on my real lash its a gap in between the lashes and my lid... NEVER WILL I GO BACK FOR LASHES.

I waited outside for 20 minutes prior to their open time and then several people that came up after me was treated first. If I had not needed my nails done I would have walked out. Very frustrating.

The wait here is sometimes long because they are always busy . But that is a good thing.They are clean and always do a good job. I appreciate the COVID-19 precautions they are taking and the friendly staff. Also, Im always satisfied with my nails.Update : Im not sure what they changed . But the last few times getting my nails done was horrible. My finger was cut multiple times with the drill on one occasion, on another they tried to give my niece and I services we didnt ask for. There is no way to confuse paint on toes gel polish on nail for a manicure and pedicure for a child. The wait was ridiculously long and my last few visits I moved from chair to chair . It was chaotic and unorganized, then the last time I got acrylic when I asked for sns. They tried to take them off and ruined my nails . My nails were paper then and fingers tender from all the soaking and drilling to get them off. And that was two weeks after they were done . I also saw a Facebook post with two other people having the same issue. Where they received acrylic instead of sns.This place is definitely not what it once was. Which is unfortunate because I was a loyal customer.

I love everything about them. I have been using them for 2 years. They can do things with my nails SNS ombré that the average nail technician can’t do.

I have found my new nail salon...John is absolutely great...I needed my nails fixed from a previous salon & he did a great job & my nails look better than they ever have...Thanks John you will definitely see me back very soon...

Nice people, open late and its always crowded. I found it a little confusing the first time I went in, but overall I like it.

Always an amazing experience when I visit here. I drive over an hour to come here. There are several different pedicure options to choose from. They have plenty of options for your nails to fit everyone’s needs and wants. Everyone is so friendly and professional. The service is exceptional.

I wish I had the option to leave a ZERO star review!I’m new to the area so I decided to try this salon. After FINALLY being acknowledged after an HOUR of waiting, I then played musical chairs! 3 different nail techs were telling me to move to different chairs, which was annoying and unprofessional. The nail tech hurt me, burnt my fingers with the tools, and did the WORST paint job I’ve ever had. 3 hours and $45.00 later, (and after the nail tech took my polish off TWICE to “fix” it), I had to leave to pick up my kids from school. I couldn’t wait to leave this place. First and LAST time I’ll EVER go here. Please, save your time AND money.

My daughter and I went for our first time. My daughters looked good but mine not so much. I had to tell the guy twice they were not all close to the same length. And within 2 days you could see them coming up from my nails. Wasn’t happy about spending $35 and within days looked horrible

Great job on nails and ingrown toenails. Pleasant. Only thing is they speak in native tongue which makes me think they are talking about clients

I was told to sit in chair 1 & after 20 minutes moved to chair 5. Once there the nail tech, paused servicing me on 3 different occasions. One of the occasions to service another person. The shaping of my nails were uneven. Very unprofessional. Will not be returning.

I quit going and started painting my own nails! Its cheaper and a lot of the staff is SO rude. Now the owner and his wife have ultimate customer service! But the last time I went I got a Mani pedi and brows waxed. I felt like I was interrupting my nail tech because I was there. Then they waxed part of my brow on accident and I looked messed up. And the lady cut my skin under my brow with scissors. Lets just say I now also do my eyebrows too because I dont want to ever go through that pain again. And I was still charged full price and I had blood running while I paid. I hate to give a bad review because the owner John and his wife are out of this world! They are so nice and sweet! I also understand that nail techs arent lining up at the door to work either and they need help. Just be mindful when going.

Im new to this town, and this will be my favorite place to go for my mani pedi from now on. Read some negative reviews and wasnt sure about this place at first, but decided to try for my luck and it turned to to be a wonderful experience. John and his staff are so friendly, the place is clean. They santinize a lot after each customers and it makes me feel safe during this pandemic. Will come back again soon.

Fast friendly service. Always pleased. I get my nails, toes, and lashes done here. Anna does amazing lash work! Ive been going here since the place opened. Ive tried all of the other nail places in town JUST TO COMPARE..... and A nails is hands down THE BEST! I see people complaining about the wait time.... thats because everyone goes here. If you go into a nail salon and its empty or not very busy.... there is a reason! Ive waited over an hour before and sometimes Im there for 3 hours just to get everything done. I dont mind one bit! Why? Because you get what you pay for! Will never go to any other place

I used to come here for everything beauty related until they seriously started to disappoint constantly.It was so great at first, you would be greeted and asked what you needed and they would assist you pretty quickly. Now I walk in without being greeted or asked what I need done until I say something and even then they would give me the side eye. They catch attitudes pretty quickly when you ask for something to be corrected nicely. I loved a nails but now I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.No matter how good they do my nails being treated unfairly and not as nicely isn’t worth spending over $100 there.I have been going to Jolie’s now. And I recommend it there. Professional and nice!

Amazing nail salon! Nina did a perfect job on my SNS nails with tips, and Koi was amazing on my feet! They were very patient and took their time! Kois girlfriend even done my hubbys feet and did excellent! Will definitely be going back!

Last experience was pretty bad. Went in to get new SNS put on, the man doing them was very rough when filing & did six layers of powder on only the natural nail, which made them VERY thick. Seemed to me like he was new. My nails look awful and I paid $35 for them. Probably won’t be going back.

This nails salon unclean tool, fungus nails, hired lack staff working, the owner not sanitizer pedicure and manicure equipment,,, state board of G.A have to come and inspections this nails salon,, . Some of worker doesn’t have a manicure license... !

Worst experience ever getting my nails done. I was in there for 4 hours just for a full set and pedicure. Then the guy who did my nails half did them and didn’t take the time to properly buff them or file them so they were crooked. Not to mention many people were complaining that day. Many of the reviews here are old I’m just giving a update. Don’t waste your time or money here.

I was welcomed and told of different products they had for fill ins for fake nails. Prices were not expensive. I chose S&S. for 38$ will continue to go back to them.

No I won’t go back. Worst pedicure I’ve ever had. Didn’t get the basic I got the one up from that 31.00 I believe. The girl seemed to be in such a hurry. From start to finish I was done in 45 mins. She didn’t push back cuticles or trim them, she didn’t trim the skin around the nail either. She seemed annoyed I asked her to trim my nails as she just started filing them. So by the the time she finished painting with nail polish I provided because I don’t want to use polish used on everyone else. I noticed she practically cut my pinky toenail all the way down to the cuticle. It looked so bad. Didn’t hurt but just because you can cut it that short doesn’t mean you should. It looked like I barely had a nail at all. It’s going to take weeks for it to grow out.Thank you for responding I actually live in Gwinnett county so I won’t be back to Thomaston for another week or so.

Havent used them yet, but Ive heard great things.

Im not a regular here but have been a couple of times and it was okay. This time, however, the girl barely scrubbed my feet and kept putting lotion on my legs multiple times. Then I asked for black gel polish and she started painting just the tips black. Then she just walked off, didnt dry my toenails with the UV light and didnt assist me with my sandals or put on the disposable flip flops. Wont be going back there!

What is happening with this salon? It use to be a favorite. They must have new owners? Overall experience was not good. No one was friendly. Pedicure was substandard. My daughter didnt get the design she wanted because no one could do it. The ultimate kicker was the girl beside me dropped her sunglasses behind her chair. The attendant moved a rolling table between us and German Roaches came running out.q There were dead ones under there too. Over 25 total or more. That was it. I got out of there asap. Im so glad I held my purse in my lap the whole time!!!! I noticed the place just didnt look clean overall.
