I have been searching all last night and half a day today for auto insurance for my upcoming move. After receiving multiple quotes from the big contenders in the industry, I decided to go with State Farm. Mind you, I have been with Geico for the last 10.5 years and my wife has been with them the past 6 years, but I was getting tired of their lack of customer service, getting the runaround, and ridiculous price quotes for this move, so I decided to look elsewhere. Like others, my State Farm Account and I were assigned to Brent Holtz with the passing of my agent of 35 years. Because we no longer live in DFW, I considered changing to a Hill Country area State Farm Agent. Because of the way the Cindi Moreno handled my request file an appeal of cancellation of 1 of the 7 policies I have with them, I will be staying with this agency. Having an agent to go to when there is an issue is reason enough to stay with a company with this business model. Additionally, they cover all my insurance needs, whereas other companies could not cover rental properties as well other coverages we require, any where near as economically. Claim issues have been handled perfectly.And yes.... once they realized the policy they wanted to cancel was tied to 6 others, they saw the big picture and we are have that coverage again.

I just moved from Los Angeles and my current insurance company wanted to charge MORE THAN DOUBLE of what I was paying in California with a perfect driving record. So I typically go to the physical thearpy office next door. As I walked by the State Farm building, which is next to it I noticed a noticed a sign in the front door that read “Free Quote”.So I decided to go inside. I am very disappointed with the service I have received here. I have an issue Ive been trying to get resolved since April and it is still unresolved. The staff here has been inattentive in helping me, I have had to call multiple times a week to try to get things resolved and have been given excuse after excuse. I definitely would not recommend State Farm after this experience.
