Personnel at front desk is very welcoming. The techs are efficient and knowledgeable. Dr Hendershott is top notch. She took great care of Kitty Marie and kept her primary care vet in the loop.

Dr. Hendershott, Mr. Ben and the staff are always caring and compassionate!! They truly love all the animals and it sure shows. My girl’s’ babies, Bear & Spencer request Mr. Ben. He’s their favorite since the very first visit!

Dr. Hendershott and her team are always so sweet and considerate. My dog, Beverly, practically begs to go to the vet nowadays. They treat her so well and give her so much loving attention that sometimes I think shed rather stay there than come home.

Yesterday was the first time I ever had my sons dog groomed and hair cut done professionally, I specifically informed the grooming manager that I did not want his dog hair shaved completely. I was very disappointed when the dog was picked up. He looked like he had a mohawk.

My family just adopted two perfect little (big!) puppers, so I needed a reliable vet for them. I saw that PG Animal Hospital had great reviews and was just down the road. I was NOT disappointed! Everyone was friendly and professional, and the vet and tech put my nervous pups at ease instantly. Their vaccines were quick and painless, and it was overall a wonderful experience. I definitely recommend this place for your pets.

I LOVE Pleasant Grove Animal Hospital! When I first got my puppy I wasnt sure which vet would be the best! PGAH was at an event and they answer all questions that I had with a smile! That spoke volume to me as I had called other vets and didnt receive the same customer service. I had over 10 questions and they didnt get annoyed with me at all! My pups name is JACK and he loves them and thats whats important to me!

My husband and I recently moved to the area and this clinic had been recommended to me, well Pleasant Grove Animal Hospital did not disappoint! All staff was extremely pleasant and professional. She was an 18 year old pug who was blind and deaf but still full of energy. I would never hesitate to call. Amazing people along with hours on Saturday which is great.

Took my injured cat and they saw and tended to him quickly. The vet was very professional and did a great job. Bosco recovered successfully. Very fair with their charges and didn’t try and over charge for anything.

Everyone was SUPER NICE AND FRIENDLY. I had received some sad news in regards to one of my fur babies. Dr. Hendershot got word that I was taking the news hard and she ended up calling me to not only check in on me but to reassure me that things were going to be OK. The other 2 vets in the clinic have also bent over backwards to help me in my times of need as well. Would not trust my fur babies with any others!

We have used this clinic for 12 years and couldnt be more pleased. The doctors are all great. Knowledgeable, friendly and compassionate. The entire staff is wonderful...receptionists, vet techs, groomers, all fantastic. Our Abby and Gibbs never mind going to the doctor, and that is great for us!

I had to board my monstrosity of a puppy here for 2 months, and after returning to get her she was a completely different dog. Completely well behaved and have not had anything torn up since. Just goes to show you the love and care they put into every animal that walks through their doors. Amazing customer service day in and day out. Friendly staff, all the vets have been very good with Bella. I started going to PGAH because of a couple of parakeets. Petsmart recommended Dr Hendershott, she was so helpful that I moved my dog, Bear, to her. That was 6 or so years ago. Still happy with her and staff

Were in the area temporarily, and happened to find an injured/abandoned puppy. I took her into PGAH because they were the only clinic with openings that day. The care that poor little puppy received was excellent, and very fairly priced. They even itemized all of the expenses and brought them to me for approval before they began so there wouldnt be any surprises. I was able to afford to give her everything she needed, and I have also since brought my older lab in for a checkup. I really appreciate their combination of skill, professionalism, compassion and affordability.

After a year of trying to find a veterinarian who could help my Maltese, Matea, Dr. Hendershott suspected Cushings at first visit and confirmed with testing. Now 1 year later, Matea is still with us and feels great!

My dog was having trouble breathing, trembling, and I couldnt figure out what was going on. So, I went to Pleasant Grove Animal Hospital Saturday morning and tried to get some help. After standing there prob 5 mins without even a hello from two staff at the front desk the person on the phone finally found the time to talk to me and asked me if I have an appointment. Which I did not. I then told the receptionist what was going on said she would talk to the veterinarian there. When she came back she told me they couldnt fit me in and to look elsewhere. I saw another review to see that this has happened before. Only to get a reply from the owner to their review that they shouldnt have made the review. Poor professionalism all around.

We have been taking Betsy my bulldog to Pleasant Grove Aniaml Hospital for a while now. The care that she received there was TOP NOTCH!! The staff is always friendly and helpful! I am very picky on who I let take care of my dogs and this aniaml hospital has went above and beyond my expectations and will continue to use them! Go check them out you wont be sorry!!! :)

They even work Saturdays for animals that need to see a vet sooner... Friendly, professional, and my kitten came back out relaxed and happy... Playful even! Not the least bit freaked out or upset. That tells me everything I need to know.

Serious thanks to the vet there! There was a serious injury to my daughters pup. She was mangled and I really didn’t know what to expect. I called them distraught because they are closest to me. They told me to bring her on in. Within no time they had her all stitched stapled and tubed up... I am impressed with the service and care these ladies give. I called several times and they let us go visit and console ourselves and our pup. They let us take all the time we needed. Then they even kept her a couple extra days while I finished my pens and made a sterile place for her away from the others in our home. They were a dream through the entire process.

PGAH is the absolute best. My pups are truly my babies, and they always put my mind at ease, and get my girls right back on track. So thankful for them!!!!

They got us in for a neuter on Thanksgiving break while our vet (also fabulous) was out of town. They were polite, friendly and took great care of our Malshi. Extremely pleasant experience.

I have finally found the best place for my pug Penny! This place has the best staff everyone is so sweet and kind. They treat Penny so well, and I really appreciate it. I have to go normally once a month for Penny to have her allergy shot which works wonderfully and this is the only vet clinic I’ve been to that was able to figure out something to manage her allergies. Why I am writing the review is because recently Penny got sick and this is a major thing for her. She was throwing up and diarrhea which are of course extremely unpleasant for any pet, they got us in the very next morning. The entire staff was wonderful! We are working on getting Penny back to her normal self which I am forever grateful that they have her feeling better already. If you need a clinic that honestly cares for your pets this is who I would recommend.

This is the only place I will take my fur babies to! Dr Stacey Hendershot and her crew saved my little Pom “Missy”. She was misdiagnosed by two other veterinarians and sent home to die. What was worse was their no care attitude towards my Missy. By God’s Grace we took Missy to see Dr. Stacey and she saved our Missy. She had so much compassion for our Missy and took all the necessary steps to save her. Missy’s uterus had swelled to over a pound filled with poison fluids and was pushing against her pancreas. Dr. Stacey operated and removed it and kept Missy under her care until she was able to come home. It is a miracle the uterus didn’t burst inside her, killing her! Dr. Stacey and all her wonderful staff kept us updated on Missy’s daily progress, they took the time to show her love each day. I cannot express my gratitude enough to Dr. Stacey and all her staff, not only for saving Missy, but sparing our family the heartfelt grief and tears we would had to endure if she had died. A 5 Star rating is the highest on this website but will never be high enough for saving our fur baby and giving Missy years of life to enjoy.

Although ongoing, Lulu is finally looking so much better. Your determination, compassion and patience with Lulus mom is amazing. Lulu is never easy and your patience and determination to figure out the nature of her problem was so reassuring and is working. Thank you for not giving up! PG is the best!

I recommend Dr Hendershot and her awesome staff to EVERYONE! They treated and cured our fur-babys ear problem with just one visit after having a very, very difficult time for over a YEAR with another vet in town. Some time ago our dog Roosevelt got straight up mawed by a German Shepard at the dog park. He had some really scary gapping wounds. The staff here were very thorough in a treatment plan for our poor dog. Including antibiotics a wound drain and stitches. Their professionalism put us at ease as our dog healed.I am happy to report that Roosevelt has made a full recovery. We are satisfied with the care he received at this clinic.

By far the best vet I have been to!

We had an awesome experience with this facility. The vets are among the most knowledgeable that I have known, and the entire staff is friendly. They made me feel comfortable and took special care with my sweet dog.I was impressed that ultrasound equipment, x-ray machines, and a full lab are on site, yet a two night intensive care stay after extensive testing didnt break the bank.

I wouldn’t take my little yorkie Ellie anywhere else. I highly recommend this clinic. I feel like I’m in a pediatrician’s office! The staff is great & their prices are more than reasonable.

I have used PGAH for 8 years. They have treated my own animals and animals I have fostered. I have seen them save dying puppies and kittens. They have also taken care of my Maltese that has on three occasions been very sick. Ive had an experience with a kitten with a heart defect living through surgery and continuing to live today (3 years later). They care about the animals and do not over charge. Animals and owners are treated with care, and the staff make sure animal owners understand what they need to know. They also share their limits to their ability to treat animals. For example, I have had two pets they recommended to specialists outside Texarkana. I trust them completely with my pets, and I think you should, too.

We had been taking our dogs to another Vet in town, it became enough when they tried treating everything with progesterone, and basically treated us like an inconvenience. So we started taking our dogs to Pleasant Grove, our only regret with that switch is that we didnt do it sooner. If I move out of town I will still bring my dogs here, they are that good, and I trust them that much.

I have always heard wonderful things about this place but today we had a emergency with my dog. My dog ate something she wasn’t suppose to so I called to see if someone could help me. I was told they are full and they can not see my dog. The person I talked to over the phone told me to try some place else. I totally get that you are full but I would think for emergency situation you would have to make accommodations or something. I won’t ever try to go back. Luckily we found a place that was welcoming and helped us with our dog’s emergency.

Jerry actually took Liberty to this appointment. He thought everything went easy and pleasant. He regrets that Liberty made such a noisy spectical of herself both in the lobby and in the exam room. Entirely unbecoming of a Saint! All of you all were great!

Dr. Hendershott is an AWESOME Dr and loves my Lydia, a Basset Hound. She has worked with me an some very complicated issues with Lydia for her to have the best outcome without surgery. She LOVES what she does & you can see it when shes with your animals.

This is my choice veterinary for the Texarkana area. Great staff & Doctors that are very proactive for my furbabies health. One of my dogs is a bit boisterous & they accomate/put up with her shananagins/constant talk. This alone is gold to me.

Not only is Pleasant Grove Animal Hospital among the most affordable vet practices I have used, I have found that these guys also have the best bedside manner of any practice that has treated my Shiba Inu (a very dramatic and vet-anxious dog, indeed!).
