David and his team were great to work with. We had to have an estate auction when my dad passed, because there was so much stuff. David was very helpful throughout the process and his staff was great to work with the day of the auction. At first glance, it looks like the auctioneer is going to charge a lot for what happens, but when you look closely at it, they put a ton of work into it and its deserved. Our first thought was that we wouldnt get as much money as we would selling the house outright, but here are a couple of things that encouraged us to use the auction: 1. There was enough stuff that cleaning out the house would have taken us a very long time and been overwhelming. 2. The house hadnt been updated for 30+ years. We had a realtor look at the house and property prior to deciding to have the auction. We got what we felt was a fair price out of the house taking into consideration both the realtors information and the bank appraisal that we had done prior to the auction. Overall, it was a very good experience with David and his team.

David Hayes wanted to make sure everything was just right when we had my Fathers auction after his death. Called and came over numerous times to ensure he had all materials correct. I would highly recommend Hayes Auctions

Mr. Hayes did come out often to make sure my AuntsWishes were met he told her to but post-a-notes on the things that she wanted sold. Which she did but on the day before and the day of the auction a lot of things were taken from the house and the garage that were not marked to be sold. When the day came for her to receive her check she received only half of what was made that day. Because she was charge for the use of his tents the renting of a portapottiThe hourly wages of each of his people(15.00 dollars per hour)and the the wages for one night for the security person. Not to mention all of the water and electricity that they consumed which also had to be paid by the home owner. Just be aware of all the costs before hiring this auctioneer.
