Dentist have always made me nervous. Had alot of work throughout younger years with breaking some teeth. This place and all who work there make you feel at ease. The atmosphere the music and the kindness shown by staff makes me not dread going to a Dentist. My anxiety is better . Couldnt go anywhere else but to them.

Glenda was wonderful, my teeth feel so clean and smooth and my X-rays were not uncomfortable like they normally are. Also Dr Piña was so kind and truly took the time to not only look over my teeth and X-rays, but also held a conversation and welcomed me in.

I have visited twice both times for a very painful tooth ache, both times once with Dr. Piña and the other with Dr. Risk. The care and compassion they have for their patients is remarkable. When I checked in, I was greeted right away, clear instructions were given. The wait was very reasonable. The hygienist was nice gave me clear instructions as well. She took my ex-rays and cleaned my teeth, she was gentle and did a great job. The dentist talked with me as well, he told me what work I needed done on my teeth and he gave good recommendations. Checking out, procedures were explained including prices. Great visit.

Dr.Risk took excellent care while prepping me for crowns. I do not like the shots but she was so gentle that I had no discomfort with them.Her assistant Cathy is just as compassionate. They make a great team. I highly recommend them if you are in need of dental work.

I had Amber as my hygienist and she was fantastic. She explained everything she did and I actually learned a good bit during a simple cleaning and x-ray. She was very professional and fun as well. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. I just moved to the Temple area and had not chosen a dentist yet. I lost a filling (actually two in adjoining teeth that are highly visible) and Forest Trail Dental Care is close to my home, so I stopped by to see if they could help me. They got me in quickly and every one was extremely friendly and professional. When Dr. Procter finished the new fillings they were perfect. No one would ever suspect that there are fillings there. In addition, he and his assistant both made me feel so comfortable that I actually enjoyed the experience, which is a definite first for me when it comes to dental visits. Thanks much yall for restoring my smile. I look forward to seeing you again soon to finish up some additional work.

We were new to the area, a co-worker referred us to Forest Trail. The staff is always welcoming, friendly, and resourceful. Dr Pina is very thorough with his dental exams. He noticed my daughters tonsils were very enlarged and suggested I seek medical care, which resulted into surgery. If Forest Trail is not able to meet our needs they will refer us to another Dental office who is just as amazing as them. Forest Trail has been meeting our dental needs for over a year and will continue to do so.

Would really like to continue the work done on my mouth thru forest trail but what they suggested is beyond my budget. Dr.Risk suggested surgery again. But I dont want to go anywhere else they made me feel not scared.

Had a fantastic first visit! My hygienist was so gentle and comforting the whole time. Her name was Marina and I highly recommend her! She was encouraging and positive while I was nervous and scared. Then Dr Proctor came in and I knew I was in great hands. He fixed my issues and recommended a long term treatment plan for realigning my teeth to avoid further damage. I truly had a great experience and would highly recommend this office to anyone!

Today I visited Forest Trail Dental Care for invisalign. The entire staff was very nice and welcoming and calm at the same time (this is important for someone who has Anxiety), the whole visit was enjoyable and made me feel comfortable. My appointment was for an exam, cleaning, and one of my crowns needed to be shaved. Optimal service and an excellent experience. This was my 3rd dentist since moving to Temple 3 yrs ago. Obviously not pleased with the others and optimistic that Ive found a permanent dentist. The office was very professional and calming; what a dental practice should be. And the K-Love Christian radio station music was absolutely wonderful. My hygienist was one of the best Ive ever had.

I saw Dr. Risk as a new patient today. I broke a tooth, and needed to see someone quickly. I called yesterday and they got me scheduled for today.Yvonne was very nice, and took care of my X-rays. Dr. Risk did a thorough examination, discussed what needed to be done, and then got me out of pain quickly. I’ll be back next month to start on my treatment plan.

This is by far the best dental office I have ever been to. I came as a new patient today, and I was happy with my experience before showing up-The receptionist is extremely polite and was very courteous on the phone. She was very helpful about my insurance and made me feel welcome immediately, and at 7 am this morning! My hygienist, Marina, was very sweet and has been the only hygienist Ive ever had who made me feel comfortable and never once poked me. The doctor was also very gentle and explained my treatment plan without just saying okay you owe us this much and need this work done. Everything about this office was extremely professional and helpful and made me feel at ease. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone looking for a regular dentist!

During the Covid-19, its on an emergency basis only. I needed a root canal to stop the pain. Who falls asleep during a root canal? I did! They were so quiet and gentle, I fell asleep! Dr. Risk has got to be one of the gentlest dentists Ive ever had the pleasure. Bravo Forest Trail for getting her on the team!

I have been going to Forest Trail Dental for 30 years and they have always provided excellent service until the practice changed and moved. Sadly in the last year my experience has been different. My calls have not been returned, my insurance claims have not been filed correctly. I recently changed my dental insurance and when I called to verify if Forest Trail was an in network provider (they were not in the online provider directory) I was told that they would NOT call the insurance company to verify, that it was not their problem if they were not in the directory. The clerk said Come for an appointment and we will file the claim and if it gets rejected then we will know. In other words, leaving me with the additional out of network expenses. Poor customer service. Disappointing.The day after posting the 2 star review above I did receive a call from Forest Trail. Susan Procter contacted the insurance company and worked out the details so that Forest Trail would become an in-network provider for that insurance company (their website had them listed as a provider, but the insurance companys site did not, which was the reason for the original question). I am amending the star rating to reflect her hard work in resolving the issue and for keeping me updated on the situation. Thank you.

Absolutely love Dr. Proctor and his staff. The dental hygienist was very friendly and went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable after learning of my fear of the dentist office. Dr. Proctor has always been very understanding of my phobia, he doesnt make me feel bad for just going to see him when something hurts. I needed a crown which they made in their office so I was there a short time and left with a crown the same day Very accommodating. Very thorough. I went in after a surface filling popped off. The took a quick look and said it was infected and I needed a root canal and antibiotics. They dont have anyone working in this office that can perform root canals, so they tried to refer me out of network. I went and got a second opinion..turns out it wasnt infected and I was able to avoid a root canal...tread carefully with this place.

I was looking for a new dentist. I chipped a front tooth yesterday, so I had to hurry the process. Forest Trail got me in the same day l called. They did a temporary repair. Assessed my dental needs. Gave me what I thought was a very reasonable estimate. I think I found me a new dental home.
