So ill say this. Just like me and alot of other people we never really fully read the instructions but i will say this. I had my monitor sent in and repaired and sent back in a timely manner which i was impressed about now here comes the part where it makes no sense. I sent in my monitor with both video and power cables and the stand. Now i get this huge box that a office chair can fit in all for a monitor and nothing but the monitor was returned. Everything that was sent should of been sent back regardless of what was in the instructions. I made a mistake but none the less this place couldnt find the stand and 2 cables with the monitor? Again the box is 3 times bigger than the original monitor box. Most likely will never buy another Acer product again

All the positive reviews are fake, I have been dealing with them for 2 months now trying to get my monitor fixed and every time they send me one I am convinced that they are just sending me someone else broken monitor. this is my forth time receiving a monitor from them and it is still broken.

I choose not to be economical with my praise here. I was there 10 minutes before closing time on a beautiful evening and the ladies there helped me register my case. 2 days later, I had my notebook repaired perfectly. The folks who helped me that day had so much love! I left as an inspired being

Not happy with their repair process. I own an Apple and it had to be repaired during COVID...Apple had my laptop done in 2 days. It takes acer 15 to 20 days to get it done. This is the 6th time I have sent this laptop in. They use cheap materials. The hinges keep breaking...Now my laptop wouldnt stay on if it was unplugged from the AC Power supply. I sent it in a month before this happened and it came back working for only a few weeks only to go back again in for service. I thought if I spent more money on a laptop it would be built better...but with Acer I guess its all about profits....I have thoroughly been impressed by Apples service and disappointed by Acer.

Laptop came back fine, was only kind of making the noise I had sent it away for. About three days later its back to making the same noise. No explanation as to what was possibly happening on the receipt they sent either. Just wish I had some answers.

Great experience!After putting in my serial number I see that it is still under warranty and Im so happy because it totally crashed hard and I couldnt start the laptop.Sent it in and received it back super quick.With shipping time, I was only out my computer for about a week.Very fast and easy process, super happy!

Sent my two year old, out of warranty laptop in for what I thought was an issue with the motherboard. After it had arrived, their email said it had been recieved and that it would cost me almost $700 to repair it. I asked what exactly the problem was and they said that they hadnt run any tests or diagnostics, but that it was just their best guess that it was, in fact, an issue with the motherboard. I then asked what was keeping them from running a diagnostic or test of any kind, and they told me that they wouldnt do anything without me making the payment, and that it would be at the discretion of the technician as to whether or not there were more parts that needed to be replaced, at an additional charge. At this point, about five days had past since my computer arrived in Temple, and I just had them send it back because I wasnt feeling like paying almost $700 to maybe replace the motherboard in a laptop that was already a little over two years old.I get that an out of warranty computer can be expensive to repair, but it seems ridiculous to me that they would try to charge me so much before even knowing what the problem actually is.Very displeased and disappointed with their customer service. A waste of time and money to ship my computer to Texas.

What a terrible company. Their support and return procedures are from the 90s and their support experts lack any real knowledge of troubleshooting or even understanding the very technology they sell. The runaround and wasted hours Ive spent trying to get my near $800 monitor issue addressed is absurd. Ill never, ever buy an Acer product again and recommend people stay away from this company and its products.

I am fairly disappointed with the acer repair service. I live in Houston and I mailed in my acer predator with a broken fan and a small crack on the bezel which took a day. I waited under the assumption that it was being repaired but they don’t communicate with you during the process. 8 days later from when they received it I got a call saying that the warranty was voided because of “drop damage”. This means that they weren’t even repairing it at all during this entire time and decided to look at it a week later. I don’t understand their repair process, but waiting a full week just to tell me its out of warranty is very disappointing. I also never even dropped the device. The crack developed from repeated use of opening and closing the computer since it has plastic bezels. Ive had a similar problem with one of there previous products a acer aspire. So I was like okay, maybe at least the fan is under warranty right? Nope. Since they found physical damage the warranty is voided for all components of the device. Even tho the physical damage had nothing to do with the broken fan they won’t even replace. Instead they try to charge $699 for a fan and bezel replacement which is borderline insanity. Thats $200 shy from the original price of the device. When I had a dell, the computer would be back in at least 3 days from when they received it and they would call you the next day if it was out of warranty and that was a decade ago. There whole repair process is slow, unresponsive, and ridiculously expensive compared to their competition. You’d be better off trying to repair the device yourself instead of wasting your time.

Terrible experience. What a scam they are running here. Bought an brand new and expensive laptop only to find it was defective. I sent it in to get repaired and they wanted another $400 to fix what should have been under the warranty. What a huge scam. Do not trust. At least I can fix myself for $35. Most people would just be out of luck.

Ive seen the reviews and they are low, and i i gave it a shot cause it was the only place to repair my computer and being under warranty, i got my computer today and im satisfied of how they manage my repair, and it only took 9 days from the day they received to the day i got it, im very happy!

If in warranty you dont have to pay for shipping. The case number helps the customer know the status of the repair. I sent my laptop and got it back on the 7th day and I live way back in New York. Excellent service!

I want to give them 5 stars....but when you mail in your laptop...it takes them forever to fix it. There is no expedited service. It takes them 7 to 10 days to get the laptop back to you. Keep in mind, I live in Houston and it takes one day to get to Temple. When I had a dell, they would typically fix within a day or 2 and have it back to me on the 3rd day. This is the 2nd time I have sent my laptop in, and it will be held again for a while--even for the most minor warranty repair.

Drove down to drop off my Xf270hua monitor. Had Flickering then finally monitor stop showing anything. They fixed and shipped it back to me by end of week. I happy to be back on a 2k 144hz panel. 1080p doesnt cut it anymore

Terrible experience dealing with this repair center. No communication or updates the whole 2 weeks theyve had my product. Had to pay $200 to ship my product to this repair center and back. Should have just bought a new monitor for almost the same price and never had to deal with this crap. Very unhappy with Acer.

I may be a bit prejudiced, but I worked at ASRC for four years. There was a very high level of expertise within the technician ranks. Every tech I worked with treated customers computers as though it was their very own. I have since moved on, but will always look to Acer and Gateway for great computer products, as well as customer service and excellent warranty repair!

Highly recommend avoiding Acer phones.Theyre well priced but unreliable and in my case did not honour their warranty. Claimed that because there was damage to their very fragile screen, they did not have to repair the faulty charging battery issue. Read your warranty carefully. It is virtually useless.

I sent in my Acer laptop in for repairs because it experienced some hardware problems centered around power and battery. I received it back a week later, rather than seeing a working laptop I RAN into more problems.This laptop came to me with random powering down problems and an undetectable GPU! I do thank them for replacing the motherboard and the card reader, but they dont work at all. Even though it seemed to work fine BEFORE the problem occurred.

To Acer i would like to thank them for fixing my laptop during the 1 year limited warranty other major companies dont offer that and leave you on the phone for hours and they dont resolve your problem fast enough unless you pay as for acer i had a great experience with your customer support and i am proud and will be a returning customer i would recommend their products to anyone.

Ive had excellent luck with Acer products, until I received my newest laptop. The speakers never worked, and eventually the charging port stopped working. I sent it in for warranty repair, and suddenly its cracked at the charging port (it was not before I sent it), and they want $289 to fix that before they would even look at anything else. After some research, its a $15 part that my husband replaced in twenty minutes, and the speaker issue was simply because they were never plugged in at the factory. This entire experience with this warranty claim has been ridiculous, and of course, none of it is their fault. Their rates for repair are robbery.

Sent my laptop to them to repair my broken screen, only had the laptop for about 25 days (Acer Predator Helios 300) bought it for about 1.1k and they wanted $699.00 to repair the screen only (warranty did not cover it, no prob I’ll pay if reasonable). Their 3rd party parts seller quoted me the screen for $300.00 and if I waited other company sold the screen for $140.00 that means at the very least acer was charging $400-$550 labor for a 10 minute screen change repair. That’s insane. I ended buying the part and fixing it myself, took me 15 minutes through a YouTube tutorial. Wish they were more reasonable with repair cost, whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth will definitely not be a repeat customer and definitely do not recommend this repair center nor acer laptops. You can make a profit and not charge extreme repair costs, this is just plain greed. Profits over your reputation. No thank you. Stay clear of them until they change their practices.

I sent my Acer R11 Chromebook in for a battery issue. Acer fixed it but damaged the right side of the case and left a hole. Very obvious. They paid for FedEx ground to return it. Turned it around in one day. Device came back good as new. Wish they had done it right the first time.

Typical H1B visa joint. Staff dont speak English. No email available. Sent computer back without motherboard, box, or accessories. Should have just returned the brand new computer. Wanted me to prove that the stuff is missing..... the Asian way! Filed a complaint with every single government agency.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I will never do business with Acer again. They charged $279 (plus I paid shipping) for diagnostic and repair. Got the unit back and it was doing the same thing. Sent in in again, was four separate times I was promised it would be expedited, and then told it would be FedExd the following day. That was 2 days ago and now their customer service is completely not helpful, not accountable, horrible English and frankly they just dont care.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. We had purchased 3 All in one computers from them less than a year ago. We have had to have them serviced several times in that period and each time they return it with a damaged screen. Trying to run a business without decent equipment is beyond frustrating, but having to resend equipment due to poor shipping on their part is ridiculous. Already replaced one with an HP.

My acer helios 300 died after two months of LIGHT use like no jon played minecraft after work. Fans stopped spinning and made an awful sound in addition it wouldnt turn on without being plugged in. Its been a week since i shipped it and no word back. Im worried because 1200 dollars isnt exactly a small amount of money for me. Im not sure the progress if theyve fixed it it they are able to fix it and if its on its way back to me. I wish someone could fill me in but no one seems to know. I like acer and I hope this isnt the norm for there products. Will change the rating when and if I get my laptop back.

Although I am not a fan of Acers phone tech support, I am a huge fan of the repair facility located right in the U.S. in temple Texas. I had some backlight panel issues about 6 months after purchasing my monitor and sent it to this repair facility. Around two weeks later a representative from the repair facility told me they could not source the part needed to repair the monitor and instead would send me a brand new monitor. One week later it was overnighted to my door. Not only am I happy with the level of service this facility provides, I am happy Acer employs Americans at a US repair facility, as I have had to deal with sending electronics overseas for repairs and it is always a nightmare. Thank you acer staff!

WARNING: THE WARRANTY ONLY PROVIDES FOR REFUND AT ACERS CHOICE.I purchased a Acer Aspire S7, their high-end ultrabook in July 14. The screen stopped working two months later (it still worked through an external monitor). I had to ship the laptop to Texas for repair. They would not ship a replacement, or provide a refund. So I will have to go and buy a laptop that actually works on my own dime, and will end up with two laptops. One of them will NOT be an ACER, nor will any future purchase.
