More than half hour late picking me up from scheduled body shop. Then had to go back to the location since the tablet was broken. Then no paperwork to go over damages and scratches. I then notice damage not seen at pickup took by to show them they denied the damage I pointed out I had just gotten the vehicle. Then told it wont be that expensive to fix again I pushed this is not new damage. The young lady said she didnt see the damage. I stood there while the young man looked up vehicle history and said there is hisory reported. High prices and then nickel and dime to make more money. I have an idea fix the vehicles and clean them before you check them out.

This is the worst experience in a rental I have ever had. There was minor scratches on the vehicle upon return. I am unsure how they got there but they were there. Enterprise then charged my card for $500 without a word to me whatsoever. I fully understand I am responsible for the damages but to not tell me and not send me a bill or any type of notice is unacceptable. I found the charge on my card and had to call to understand what it was. They have not sent the vehicle to a shop yet and do not even have an estimate for damages, yet still charged my card ahead time without informing me as a customer. I will never use enterprise again for shady business practices.

The gentleman that picked me up from caliber collision was very polite and wonderful. I had 1 small issue while i had the vehicle and the other guy that i dealt with when i took it back up there was not very interested in helping to handle the problem.

I have rented from many different Enterprise locations and have spent a small fortune renting vehicles through the years. The employees that helped me were very friendly and took care of my needs. At the time I rented it was during a holiday and I was lucky enough to get a vehicle at all. In the future Ill definitely rent from this location again.

Been renting cars thru enterprise since 2005 never had problem with this company intel I moved here. Been here now 5 yrs and every time we get a car thru temple office there a problem they dont remember the vehicles they give you try to charge you for days you dont rent. I know most places in Temple have no customers respect seem like this city can go thru a Big make over.

Service was great. Friendly and knowledgeable. The service gets a 5 star. The vehicle stunk, was dirty even though it had just been washed, pulled to the right and had a lot of warning lights on. It never broke down, but there was always that worry.

Well at first I was placed in a Van to hug for me to get into to drive but 3 days later was placed in a small car as I had asked for now still awaiting on the return of my money for gas for car when it was only half full. Other than that i enjoyed the kona I was driving

The team at the Temple location are always extremely polite, courteous and knowledgeable. Deducted 1 star for mechanical issue of steering vibration at highway speeds with my last rental of a Ford Expedition this month 2/21. Pretty disappointing when the vehicle doesnt reflect the great service provided by the staff.

This is the absolute worst rental experience Ive ever had. They called me the day before to tell me they would deliver the vehicle to my repair shop. Instead they sent a shuttle because thats what was convenient for them. So I got to schelp my stuff onto a van like a school kid.Then they needed a whole bunch of information including a secondary phone number AND MY EMPLOYER NAME. When I told the manager I didnt have a secondary number and I didnt feel comfortable giving my employer name, he flatly said I cant give you the car without it, its our policy.Waiting until a customer arrives and then demanding information you were not required to put in online is absolutely unethical. You do not need my employer name. Ever.Lastly, I was told if it hailed that I may want to come back to get the insurance from them because I would be responsible for hail damage!When I am given a choice of rental company in the future, it will never be Enterprise. I will also be forwarding my concerns to USAA.Update: the replies to all the comments here give the impression they care about your experience and will look into. They wont. Dont bother emailing them.

Contrary to their slogan, they didn’t pick me up. I had to get an Uber to and from there. They have a policy at this Enterprise that limits them to 10 minutes. I live 8.9 miles away but their system said it was 17 minutes. They refused to pick me up or drop me off. I’ve used enterprise traveling in San Antonio and Las Vegas and never had this issue. If you need a ride I’d avoid this branch if you’re outside 10 minutes.

The staff was extremely rude and arrogant. They tried to give us this filthy vehicle!! When my husband said it was unacceptable, the worker said, you take what you get if you dont have a reservation. the manager informed us that the competition would not have anything for us. We had already called and saved a nice SUV at Hertz where we received excellent service. I would encourage anyone to go there instead!

I have used this location several times in the past for when my vehicle needed long term repairs. They were always able to get me a vehicle when I needed and gabe me an option to swap vehicles if the one I got was not too my liking. Friendly staff made the process smooth and as quick as the were able. They do get busy and giving them a heads up when you can is appreciated.

I give two stars simply because the staff were not friendly, it was a name, sign here, here and here without a recap of the rental, how to return it after hours if needed. I had to call back later to find out about this. I guess Enterprise assumes everyone has rented from them and what to do. The car came out wet from a wash and we did an inspectionof the SUV...more like the rep hurried around it and I played catch-up. NO paperwork given to me with what existing damage/scratches were already on the SUV, just a youre good to go.When I drove home to load up to leave out of town, there were all kinds of dings, scratches, and marks on the truck and doors. Customer Service is the heart of any business. Having to wait for my rental, hear and see two young ladies gossiping behind a divider, the other lady and gentlemen reps assist others, while I get nauseous from the perfume used in the shop to mask their water damage...not cool.

Great customer service and friendly faces. Its perfect if youre a trucker and need to rent a vehicle to get to Fort Hood. From the time I arrived, I was in my rental in 10 minutes...thats leaving the parking lot. I will rent from this location again...heck, maybe in a few days because Im headed that direction. Location is perfect for going to the local theater and shopping.

To start off when we got there it was cold and raining!! They made us stand out side to fill out the paperwork in the rain and cold!! When we got the car the check engine light was on and it smelled of cigarettes. They told us that they would note it on the account and to not worry about it!! No way I would ever rent from them but it was with are insurance company!!

Rental experience was satisfactory except for the 200.00 deposit that you have to pay in order to rent a car. We found this out when we went to pick up the rental. Nobody, including customer service, said anything at all about this until it was time to run our credit card. We were charged for the number of days for the rental plus a 200.00 deposit (283.20). It was not a big deal, but it would have been nice to know this up front.

The staff is very friendly, but the service is VERY slow. We waited for an arranged pick up for over an hour and then had to wait for another half hour outside (due to Covid) before we were able to get a car. We had booked the cars for 9:15 and ended up leaving the lot at about 11:00. If you are in a time crunch, do not rent from here!

The day before Christmas, I made a reservation for a car and was late picking it up. The manager, Ms. Owens, said since I was late picking the car up, they had already rented out the car I reserved and since I had completed my reservation online, there was no guarantee of a vehicle to be ready for me. However she did offer me a vehicle that was $180 more. I explained to Ms. Owens that as with the majority of people on the holidays trying to get to their family, running late with traffic etc., its got to be more common than just me Im sure. She embarrassed me in front of other people standing around and made it out to me and everyone that I should just come up with more money. I wasnt in a position with Covid at this time to pay the extra and thats why I reserved online, as were instructed to do. I reserve online frequently to make sure I not only get the car that I need but also the price I need to pay. I also reserve cars from Enterprise for my clients frequently. In addition, the lot was full of cars, so much so that my ride that dropped me off couldnt park in the lot, only on a side street. Other people were getting cars around me. This made me feel that maybe I was the outcast here. I called Enterprise again while I was standing in the parking lot and reserved another car just to receive the same response from Ms. Owens even while the rep was on the phone saying there were plenty of cars available. Her unprofessional and unsympathetic attitude cost me a car and a trip to see my kids. The holidays were not what they should have been and this was not due to Covid. I am very disappointed in this location. I rent frequently from Enterprise and this has been my worst experience. This is time I will not get back and I was unable to spend the holiday with my family, eat with family, finish gift buying and giving, etc. I would like to ask the owner/district manager/ branch manager how they would feel if they were paralyzed in this way from accomplishing even the most basic tasks by a company who holds the monopoly on car rental after doing my part to reserve online as they instruct you to do. This is the way we stay safe with Covid by reserving online. I have been waiting now for over a week and still no call back from Customer Service. I wouldnt recommend this location. If you have the ability to get to the Killeen location, I would suggest that. They are more concerned with their professionalism and customer service. Obviously this Temple location is not! As for me, I will do my best not to ever rent from Enterprise again. They have definitely lost my business!

Picking up the car was great--around noon, basically no other customers and great service. I had to return my rental car about 4:30pm on a Friday. I went early, prepared to wait. Instead, I was entertained with the activity. I think there were 10+ individuals and groups returning and picking up vehicles. The Enterprise people were upbeat, friendly, hustling, creating a great atmosphere. With all this activity, I waited maybe 10 minutes, maybe less, to turn in my car and get in a shuttle to the garage to get my car.Completely satisfied came to mind, but it was even more than that--a totally surprising, great experience.

When we went to pick up the car my daughter had reserved, the car wasnt ready and was told it would be ready at noon. Wasnt going to wait 4 hours for the car. Was told a car would be at another location the next day. Their office is outside because of Covid-19. Had to stand in the sun and sign up. Would be nice if they would have a canopy to stand under in extreme heat.

I rented a car to take my mom to her doctor’s appointment. On our way to her appointment, we got a flat tire. We had just left the rental location about an hour ago. I stopped to put air on the tire, then proceeded to take her to her appointment. After her appointment, we stopped at enterprise to exchange cars. They claim they didn’t had any car available. Even though their lot was full of them. There was a gentleman waiting for a car too. He was offered a bmw, but didn’t qualify because he didn’t had a major credit card. They never made that an option for me, I have many major credit cards. Instead, they took my car to the tire shop where they said all 4 tires had nails on them. I didn’t only had to wait for them to fix them, but also for their insurance to approve the repairs. When I returned the car I only got $30 off for the inconvenience. Most of the staff aren’t wearing a mask either even after that same gentleman pointed that out.

Before you drive off with the rental car make sure there is a spare tire and jack or atleast a air compressor because If u dont and if you get flat tire there is a fee to get tow truck and enterprise does not pay for the tow truck service

A little disappointed with Enterprise...rented car for 2 days...when I go pick up the vehicle I was told a $300 hold had to be placed on my card...Whaaaa! Heres my issue...they can come up with bogus charges...or make an error and my money is lost...I dont like being forced into something where I dont have options when Im spending my money...dont tell me at last minute and dont give me fine print...BE OPEN!!!

I have a vehicle from this location and every time I turn the steering wheel theres a popping noise, I tried to get a replacement but, they found a rusted spot on the car and said I damaged the vehicle, the guy told me everything was good, but I didnt walk around the vehicle myself which I know better. I had to wait out in the heat, no awning or cover, for a car. After I got on the highway I turned on the air conditioner, very, very strong cigarette odor! Make me very ill. Didnt have time to go back and exchange then, so I called telling them I was exchanging the car in the morning. Had to make a 50 mile round trip back the next day without air conditioner on in Texas summer heat. Sat and waited 45 minutes for the exchange car. Very upset because Enterprise has a no smoking policy and the car should have been checked and reconditioned before renting to another customer. I still have a migraine and sinus problems a day later. Will never rent from them again

I did a one-day car rental with Enterprise in Temple, TX on 8/17/2020 & I was charged twice for the rental fee. The staff at the location are very nice, but its been extremely difficult getting them to follow-up with me & reimburse me for the double charge. Ive even provided the proof from my bank account. I think when we resolve this matter, well start using Hertz in Temple.

The car I rented was amazing. The process of getting the vehicle was embarrassing and a bit hurtful. I hit a deer and my insurance company made a reservation for me to rent a vehicle with enterprise. My insurance covered $50 a day. When I got to the location a woman greeted me and I inform her that I was there to get a rental and I would like to rent a Tahoe. She then replied well if we have one once I’m done with your paperwork everything should be good. She then asked for my drivers license. I gave her my drivers license and military I’d. I informed her that I was an active duty soldier stationed at Fort Hood and did not get a Texas drivers license because of COVID. She walked inside of the building and came out with 2 other women and a long paper for me to fill out. I notice no one else around me had to go through this process but I figured it was because of my drivers license. After I completed the paper she went inside and told me that the vehicle was being cleaned it takes about 20 mins. As I’m waiting I see the Tahoe go to the back to get cleaned. Other customers are recovering vehicle even people who got there after me. About 40 mins later a Caucasian male comes outside and tells me to walk with him. As I walk with him he takes me to a van an ask me to look for any damages. I politely told him that I did not ask to rent a van that my vehicle was a Durango and I would like to rent the Tahoe because it has a third row seat and maybe I would like to buy one. He went back inside the store and a black male came out and said Mr. Brown, this vehicle is $50 a day you would have to pay the taxes everyday out of pocket I told him that was fine. He walked inside and the Caucasian male came back outside. He asked me if I could afford 8$ a day. I looked at him with disbelief. I responded yes $8 for 5 days is not a lot of money. He then went on to ask me what happened to my vehicle and then ask me where I was from and basically started interrogating in front of other customers. I ask him why was he racially profiling me. I’m a black male in a hoodie on my day off trying to get a rental that my insurance company already reserved. He replied my boss is black. Sir that does not mean that your not racially profiling me. I told him that I was not trying to steal the Tahoe. I’m an active duty soldier who hit a deer on the way home from work. He then ask me to pay the taxes upfront and I did then he gave me the keys. Yesterday I returned the vehicle. I hope that they see that I was just an honest guy trying to get a rental. I hope that they will not do this to anyone else. I was really embarrassed and would like an apology. I probably would not get it but it just feels better to be able to post my experience here. If this situation never happened. I would have given them all stars.

I have rented quite a few cars from this place and never had any issues, until I went there this past Sunday to extend my rental. Ive already had the car for a month. The guy that helped me accused me of smoking in the car when I can clearly see the no smoking signs. He claimed that there were ashes and gar guts in the vehicle. I told him that I had not smoked in the vehicle and he wanted to argue with me. Told him to walk back over to the car to show me exactly what he was talking about. The guy then told me flat out no. If I didnt need the car for further use I would have just turned it in right then and there. I go back to the car to leave and im steadily looking for what he claims to be gar guts and ashes......well, it was leaves and tree bark from having trees cut down at our house and the stuff you scratch off lottery tickets. I have taken pictures of the car and my driveway and have filed a formal complaint with the cooperate office. This is the first time this company has ever tried to pull something like this on me. I was not very happy and they tried keeping my deposit.

The vehicle was ready to go at the appointed time. Pick up was easy and the service was friendly. There were no problems with the vehicle and it performed well. The drop off process was quick and effortless. Id rent from the Temple enterprise office again. There is a lack of parking, but the staff tries to pick you up in a timely fashion.

I needed to rent a car quickly when my personal vehicle ended up in the repair shop. I made an online reservation with my local Enterprise. When I went to pick up my rented compact car they upgraded me to a brand new fully loaded mini van. The staff at the Temple office were friendly, courteous, and professional. It had been a stressful day when my car broke down on the day after Thanksgiving and I walked to the Temple location cold, wet and frustrated. I was met outside, before I had reached the door by Jacqui, who was walking into the building, and she assured me that I would be taken care of quickly. Her kindness to me and her overall efficiency was all that it took to make my transaction an exceptional experience. All of the people in the office were warm and professional and Jacqui seemed to go above and beyond to help me. I sincerely appreciate the quality of service I was given at Enterprise in Temple. Renting a car at Temple Enterprise is quick and easy!! Lane, the new manager, is totally awesome. He was friendly and very helpful. I loved working with him. As the manager, he actually gets out there and meets the customers and does all the same work activities as everyone else. This is something I have not experienced with many other managers since I started renting frequently two and a half years ago. Great job, Lane. Thank you for a great experience.

I rented a Car made sure it was back on time the night before. Dropped the keys in the drop box. Waited two weeks for my refund of 88 dollars. Called today (2 weeks) after it was turned in and was told they took my deposit and said they took it cause it needed to be detailed. It smelled like marijuana well thats funny I dont even smoke. And instead of calling me they just took the money. Landon said he is the manager and he is the one who took my deposit. This is the most outlandish thing I have ever dealt with. No communication about taking my money. The vehicle was returned with gas and on time.

Me and my husband had this worst experience here at enterprise rent a car in temple tx. we came in to rent a car and were treated very poorly, Demarco was very rude to us, we are from SC and we live here because my husband is in the military. Demarco tried to tell my husband that his Military ID and his drivers license were not the same person and told us basically that we could be committing fraud. i expressed to demarco that i was very disappointed in how they treated us and that my husband serves this country and he flat out told us that he was not renting a car to us. Mind you Demarco is the manager and he hung the phone up in my father in laws face and he also ran me and my husbands information through a theft database without our permission and of course everything came back negative and he still came to say he doesn’t believe that my husbands ID was legit. This facility discriminated against us because we are young and they treated a service member with the utmost disrespect. I would not recommend this place.

It’s a late posting but I cannot NOT share my wonderful experience with this location. My car broke down right before Christmas Eve as I was getting ready to head out to see family. I came in very late, close to closing, but that didn’t stop Lane Garrett from helping me. This gentleman went above and BEYOND making sure I got a vehicle that met my needs. He found every way to help my in a dire situation, even when we had a few hiccups doing the signing. The car and establishment were pristine and perfect. I would recommend this location and Lane to any person looking for a rental in any situation.

Enterprise is great however certain sites are rude and unprofessional. Example: Temple, TX site manager is so rude and unprofessional. He should be fired just like the rest were. On the other hand dropping off the vehicle in Oxford, MS employess were nice and very professional. It was a quick knowledgeable process. He explained everything to me unlike Temple, TX General Bruce Dr. didnt give full details and on top I talked to the manager he want to debate with me like his employee did. Maybe thats why workers got fired there coming from a employee that works there. You know why Temple, TX on General Bruce lack of customers service and Unprofessionalism. I showed up 15 minutes before my pick up time. Was made to wait outside in the heat even though i had a mask on. At 2:45 someone came out to get me into a car. I reserved a small economy car. I was given a damn dodge caravan and told they had no economy cars. Very unhappy.

Be Prepared to just have a credit card, Active Duty military makes a difference if your Ret or a Vet. If you have a in state license, and paying with debt card, have 2 pieces of mail. Oh and specify the vehicle and TIME you will pick up. By any means if you can find another rental car place please go there. Enterprise doesn’t care for your business nor will they try and help

I frequently rent cars here for work. The team is very nice and personable. They always work hard to get me in the best car for my price range. Because its a smaller Enterprise location, I have learned when to rent and when to return to avoid the longer wait times.The will pick you up to get your rental and they will return you to your vehicle when your rental is checked back in. This and the friendly staff are the big reasons I wrote this review.

Terrible service. They took down the wrong information about the accident. They didn’t pick me up from the collision center when they said they would and wanted me to pay for the rental when the wreck wasn’t my fault. Finally someone from the collision center took me over to Enterprise but it was after 5:00 by that point and the insurance company was closed, so we couldn’t get the mess straightened out. They wanted me to pay a big deposit on the rental car. Their ineptitude got worse with every step. I had an insurance claim number and a rental car reservation number but none of that helped them. The collision center stepped up and said they would pay for the rental and get reimbursed from the insurance company. Then Enterprise had clean to the car I was renting. 2.5 hours wasted. Incompetence at its finest!

Never had any issues with this company at all. Last minute booking for business or pleasure has always been easy and hassle free. More often than not, I am upgraded to the next vehicle class for no extra charge and every single staff member Ive dealt with is exceedingly helpful and pleasant. I will always recommend this company for rentals.

I recently had a need for a larger car than my own again. Although I live in Georgetown and have made two reservations at that location since relocating there to live about a year ago, I only chose to follow through with one. That is because of a less than professional experience at the Georgetown location based on the fact I am fortunate enough to not need to use credit cards, and only use a debit card. I prefer to use the Temple location based on my experience when using a debit card. For the past two years, and I believe six rentals, the Temple location staff have always been on top of their game and ALWAYS courteous, professional, and expedient, under the exact same terms and conditions presented to the Georgetown location. Will continue to do business with the Temple location and Thanks for the great experience Temple management and staff!!

I made an online reservation 3 days and even called the day before to confirm my appointment, however when I arrived to receive the car I was asked to provide a utility bill to rent the vehicle. Mind you that no where during the online reservation did it ask for a utility bill to secure a vehicle.I had proof of residency, proof of pay stubs, proof of health insurance, drivers license and had the security deposit of $200 but all this information was not sufficient to rent a vehicle. When I registered online, there was no mention of this one minor detail, therefore I wasnt able to rent a vehicle.If this information was had been mentioned before I wouldnt have taken the time and effort to attempt to rent a vehicle.Thank you Enterprise for your poor service!!!

I have rented from Enterprise all over the country. I have rented from this location a few times over the last 10 years. Each time I find the staff knowledgeable and very willing to help. I love the way they are given so much leeway to work with me and my needs at any given time. I have had some great deals, nice cars and compacts at a great value. Other rentals are not bad, but at the end of the day they just cant beat the customer service I get from Enterprise. Their online deals are great, but if you have a chance work a good deal with the staff. Always ask for a deal when you pick up. Dont be disappointed if you dont get one, but they just might say yes. Its happened for me.

Amazing people, I was t boned on my way home from Thanksgiving with my family. Gaby was understanding, patient, and remarkably efficient. It was obvious she not only liked her job but shes talented and cares about people. The branch manager was equally skilled and the positive attitude was contagious in the office. The people at the Temple branch are amazing!!!! Devin, Erin and Megan have helped me for several months now. They are always friendly and so very helpful. I rent often for my job, and they know me when I walk in, and they do their very best to meet all my requests. They get me in and out of the office quickly even when it is CRAZY in there, and believe me, it does get crazy. They are kind to everyone that comes in, even those that are difficult to be kind to. They all deserve a raise!! They put up with a lot!!!! I am sure the others are just as great, but these three have helped me out more than a few times. Thank you for your great service!!!!

We confirmed our rental car 5 days before we needed it for an insurance claim. When we called to get picked up and get our rental car, we were told that there were no cars available to rent. If we had been notified before that day we could have changed the time and or date of our repair. Instead they left us stranded even though we confirmed our reservations.

Was upset that when I rented the vehicle I was not told anything about charging for milage after 150 miles I rent from here all the time and never been charged the manager apologized and stated he would take the charge off but now I know to look deeply at the policy before signing anything I was so upset they dont make it any better standing in the cold going over the policy on a small tablet.

This review is based on 2 separate experiences with Enterprise Car Rental. My first experience was very good: friendly staff, quick response times, and a clean and good running car. Easy 4/5 or 5/5 star review.However my second experience with this location was not good. Although the staff were once again friendly, the car I received had an overwhelming marijuana smell. Even worse the staff knew about the smell but still gave me the car without giving any notice. This is inexcusable as this could have caused some issues if law enforcement would have pulled me over for non-related reasons.

Was told to call 30 minutes before I needed a ride but they didnt mention I would wait 1 hour 40 min. had CC issue and couldnt rent car, even after it was resolved. a rep finally drove me to the other place in town ( hertz, took care of me quick ) but initially I was told it was just up the block and I could not face a ride, even though its on the service road and it was starting to rain. what a huge disappointment. would have missed my plans if Hertz hadnt saved the day
