Spencer Auto Repair is a great! This is the second time I’ve taken my car to one of their shops and I have received nothing but great and professional services. Will absolutely be taking my car to them for future needs.

Great people but sketchy. Brought my vehicle in to refill freon, it was decent before or even tolerable but for it to completely not work after the fact is hard to believe.

It took a month to get to where that finished work on the head, had to go back twice because they didnt do the valves the first time. They said it was still leaking and with all the other things they wanted to do I decided to get a long block. There were no gasket marks on the refinished head and no gasket. They said they were returning them for a refund. Gaskets are a one time use and they should have used two. I have their word they did and the mechanics word they didnt. I dont know for sure, but it shouldnt have taken a month to get to that point that it would be better to replace the engine than fix it.

Had a major oil leak repaired here. I think I received fair pricing and my vehicle is running great! Staff was extremely professional and helpful. Anything I was unsure of was explained to me.

These guys are great!! Their prices are fair however if you include the friendliness, customer service value & professionalism, it is a tremendous deal. Plus it’s still half the price of the other “express shops” & more competent than what you’d get at W***art!! I take all 4 of my family’s vehicles there. I love the full reports that are emailed to you. This report (includes pictures), gives the customer a review of what was completed as well as what they might consider having done in the future. Some differed maintenance & some item awareness that may need to be done sooner than later. The difference is they give you the report. It’s up to you if you want anything done. They do not pressure you!! I highly recommend Spencer Auto!!

I TRUST this automotive repair shop for all my vehicles needs! How often do you hear that? I have a very good business relationship with the service manager by the name of Alonzo. He is very professional, personable and his integrity is what keeps me coming back as a customer.I also enjoy the pricing, which includes a 3-year 36,000 mile warranty. The subpar competition usually has a one year 12,000 mile warranty. I like being taken care of they send me home via Uber while I wait on my vehicle and also provide an Uber to take me back to pay for my vehicle.VIP treatment makes me feel confident that my best interests are being serviced.

I used to think this place provided honest labor, I was wrong. If your just coming in for some general hardware repair or diagnostics/tests, they might hook you up with a good price or normal rates...When I came in for engine work though, they seemed to jack up the prices 3x the normal going rate.Also they lost and did not replace or button up my undercarriage plastic retention bits.I’m not coming back here again.

Spencer Auto quoted me $2089 to fix my car. It cost me $5.82 to do it on my own. My car was overheating at idle. Im new to the area and based on reviews, I dropped off my car. During the initial conversation I stated it might be the waterpump, thermostat, or fan. Spencer Auto came back with a $2089 estimate, which included an AC recharge for $180 (which has nothing to do with the issue) and a replacement of the heater core for $1270. The quote did not include any pricing for the items I mentioned. The issues I was having didnt point to a heater core issue at all, so I paid the $119.49 diagnostic fee and got my car back. After a little research and diagnosis on my own, I replaced the radiator cap for $5.82. Problem solved! Car no longer overheats at idle. Temperature holds as it should. Why Spencer suggested starting with the most expensive fix to a problem and not the obvious, cheaper alternatives first... Ill leave that up to you to decide.

I live in Goodyear now but I still travel all the way to Scottsdale/Tempe to get my Mini serviced for EVERYTHING. They’re honest, clean, reliable, punctual, professional and very alert of what is happening with my car. They are in TUNE with everything and match/beat anyone else’s price within reason. Highly recommended!!

All I can say is WOW! I chose to bring my business to Spencers after looking at various social media review platforms and noticed a number of customers raving about not only the service they received, but the fact that Spencers was also fair in their pricing...and often times more competitive than the broader market. I set up an appointment to have my car diagnosed this morning and upon arrival I was greeted by name. I hadnt even met anyone yet! Off to a great start. The diagnostic process was then clearly explained to me so there wouldnt be any surprises. I received a call from Spencers about an hour after dropping my car off where they let me know they had already diagnosed and found the problem. I asked how quickly they could get the repairs done and was told they could have it all wrapped up before EOB tomorrow... Great! You can imagine my delight when I received another call about 2 hours later where I was informed they were able to secure the parts and will have my car done this afternoon! Love the under promise, over deliver approach whether intentional or not. Would highly recommend Spencers to any family and friends!

I had brought my truck, with 230,000+ miles on it, in because my brakes were not working well. They did a complete diagnostic check on the truck and found several other things that needed attention. It had been over 3 years since I brought my truck in for anything more than an oil change. Long story short, the things I needed repaired were going to be a little more than I had planned on spending, BUT they really needed to be done. Mark and Alonzo at the service desk told me about a payment option and I got instant credit to get EVERYTHING fixed!! Had to come back twice to get everything done, but both times, the service was great, friendly and informative! I definitely recommend Spencer Auto Repair for your auto care needs!!

Well I went to Spencer Auto Repair to get a oil change and a radiator flush the guy told me it would be around an hour and Im very open-minded and I know that things come up and they could be working on the car and it could be a lot longer than what they expecting. After a couple hours I called and asked if my car ready and he told me they were finishing up so I call back again in about a half an hour and explain to him that I had an appointment and to have the car service to come and get me by the time I got there they should be finished well when I get there he goes well were not quite finished yet but where finishing finishing app then he comes back 20 minutes later and tells me that they didnt do the radiator flush because there was no water in some part of the car and he went to make sure that he was not just going to radiator flush to be wasting my time well I had rust inside my tank and I knew that I need to be flush . Instead of telling me the truth he made it seemed like they were doing me a favor. By them not doing as i ask it continue to cause more problems for my car.

It was a drop off and pick up with a much appreciated transportation service while vehicle was worked on. All service was explained and detailed findings shown. Repairs were made and my vehicle was ready to go.

I dont like unsolicited advertisements from businesses Ive never done business with or ever given my info to. Poor form.

I talked to both Jose and Jeff on the phone and got a quote for a bad motor mount. I got set up with an appointment and they had my truck done in less than a day and $175 cheaper than the other shops I got quotes from. Extremely friendly staff, fast service and a very convenient location. Also thanks to the tech who did the repair, I only remember his last name was Flynn. This is definitely my new go to mechanic!

At Spencer Auto Repair, all of the staff were very hospitable, caring, honest and efficient in customer service and in repair. Spencer Auto provides video documentation of vehicle diagnostic inspection to reveal the true conditions of areas that need attention and to further educate the customer about the health of the vehicle. When I was faced with a number of issues that needed attention, Spencer Auto showed me a colorful, visual display that listed each issue and included itemized costs, to honestly show the projected cost of repair as well as each issues level of priority. A copy of this displayed info including diagnostic videos was sent to me via text/email for my records. In their care, there was no more confusion, outrageous or surprise costs, or feeling like information was hidden from me. Spencer Auto also provides a convenient free shuttle service to home and back.

I have been a customer at Spencer’s since they moved in and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Everyone there is super friendly and most importantly, they are are honest and upfront. Their shop is clean and comfortable. I love that they offer Uber rides to make having your car in the shop easier. I have sent a few friends there and they have all been happy. It’s never fun to have your car in the shop but Spencer’s makes the process easy.

I stopped by Spencer Auto Repair today to get an oil change. This auto shop helped me relax so much after the past month of my life I have been dealing with auto repairs. The technology with the inspection was so awesome to be able to see an actual picture of what was wrong with my car. I am thankful that I found this shop and feel confident that I can go to them in the future with my next auto repair. Went in for oil change and 2 specific concerns. Wait time was far too long for apparent service load. Oil change was not talked through, nothing special about the service. They provided a very nice report but never mentioned my two specific concerns that I had questioned. Likely will not recomend for anything other than general work. No real complaints but nothing stand out

This place has horrible customer service and wait times. 2 hours for an oil change, no thank you. Location is not great either, kind of a shady area of town. I would much rather pay 5 dollars more for an oil change and not waste 2 hours of my day. NOT WORTH IT

Spencers has got to be one of the best autoshops in arizona. The customer service is amazing. First they paid for my uber to work when i dropped of my car. I dropped off my car because getting a routine oil change, jiffy lube said the housing to my oil had cracks in it. I came to spencers because of the recommendation of it being a great family owned shop and my experience was satisfied to say the least! I got an email later in the day that nothing was wrong with my car, Jiffy lube had tried to hoodwink me and instead honest hardworking folks at Spencers saved my month and at no expense! just great folks.

Brought my suburban in for an oil change and these guys went above and beyond to let me know what else my vehicle all needed.
