Took my Honda Element in for body repair. I was going to go through my insurance, but Gerber gave me such a great price, I decided to use them direct. They did a phenomenal repair job. I worked with Brian Kelly and he went the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied with the work done. I recommend for any kind of auto repairs. They are true professionals.
This is a shout-out to Katie, the customer relations representative at Gerber. My insurer required additional photos to complete the process and time was running short, but the estimator wasnt available. Katie understood the time crunch, and immediately came out to take the needed pictures and uploaded them on the spot. Its clear that Gerber have a client-facing representative who is engaging, friendly and professional. Theyre lucky to have her - she is an important differentiator for them when customers choose a provider.
I had minor damage to the front bumper on the driver side (someone hit it in a parking lot). It was more an anesthetic issue but the repair was well done, on time, and the price was where it should have been given the scope. Looks like nothing happened 😊
Someone hit my car and there was some minor damage to my driver side door. The damage was mostly aesthetic, but caused the door to catch against the fender every time it was opened. I dropped off my car in the rain on Friday and it was ready to pick up before end of business the following Monday. They worked with the rental company and sent me text updates to up to date with everything. I would recommend this shop to anyone!
Our van was vandalized and we had to get the sliding door window replaced, and we had a collision that needed repairs on the fender and bumper and side dents, as well. Our van looks brand new now! Just got my bumper/lights fixed after a tire was fired into my car. They did an awesome job fixing everything and it was all extremely easy. No waiting around and no hassle. Brian was on top of everything.

My daughter was hit by a hit and run driver. Damaged her hood, front and side of her car. Moe was extremely patient and explained everything to us. Since we were paying out of pocket he did everything he could to keep the expense of repair down w/o sacrificing safety or quality. The car was fixed and you can’t even tell that it was so damaged. Looks like a brand new car. They even cleaned it. This is the 2nd time we have used Gerber and I highly recommend them. We were so grateful to Moe and the mechanics at Gerber.
So my husband got into a car accident he had told them he didnt want the car to be totaled due to $$ amount being the issue but if the frames tweaked or is not repairable then he would just have to accept it as a loss. They fixed the car made it look nice pulls to the right bad and sometimes randomly starts drifting to the left so we took it back and had an alignment done. The car still randomly pulls left and some times feels like its swaying. The frame is tweaked i dont think it will pass visual inspecting because there is no fixing the car with the damage that was done to it. Now they fixed the car Im still having issues with and that they are not taking any more accountability the insurance wont total it out now. So I have a vehicle Im out of I have nothing to show for the accident and its like they only wanted to make money off the car not help me and my family be safe on the road I will never in my life go back to ANY Gerber collision and glass for as long as I live. Why would I support a business that likes to put money in their pockets vs making sure me and my family are safe on the road.

I had my 2019 BMW restored at Gerber on Priest. I dealt with Moe and Gaby. They were awesome people to work with. A car hit me on freeway 51 and left my car in pretty bad shape. The car looks line new now. All OEM parts and they were able to get it back to me in a timely manner. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND MOE AND HIS TEAM!!! GREAT JOB GUYS!!! THANK YOU!!!

I went in for an estimate and repair. My car was a total loss. I decided to keep the car so I called to be sure it was all together so I could pick it up. I was told yes. I got there and it was still in pieces.
Mo is the best to get the job done! He took care of replacing the driver side window of my Volkswagen Jetta with some obstacles involved because of a previous mechanic tearing it up. Mo got the job done of fixing everything up correctly with replacing the window and the electric running great!! Thank you guys so much! Best service!

(For reference I got rear-ended and I took my car in on Monday and had my car back on Wednesday!) I love using Gerber Collision. I have been taking my car to the location in Chandler, and recently moved and decided to take it to the Priest location this time. Both locations did a fantastic job on my car. I will say, however, that the front desk people at the Chandler location are a lot more friendly, and make you feel a lot more welcome. The Priest locations front desk people are okay, being a receptionist myself, they were not very attentive or had a sense of urgency to help you, when you are already stressed out or in a difficult situation with your car. They seemed apathetic, and front desk receptionists (no matter your real mood), we have to be welcoming and greet people with a smile. The Priest location’s front desk people could maybe use a smile every once in a while, but I know it can be hard sometimes in that role. With that being said, I got to meet the men who physically worked on my car and fixed it and they went absolutely above and beyond. They were standing outside when I picked up my car and asked me how it looked, if I liked it, and were so kind and friendly. I noticed a pretty bad black spot on the majority of my backseat (completely my doing, not Gerbers) but I didnt notice it when I had dropped my car off because it was hidden under some of my things. These guys immediately came over and looked at it and went to get their detail man and he came and tried to get the spot out of my seat!! It wasnt even their responsibility, their job was already done, and they were on their break! And they STILL helped me out and tried to make my car look the best that it could. They are an awesome team and I am so glad I got to meet them. Please give those men a raise! They deserve it!

I took my 2017 Honda Civic in for a scratch. When I got an estimate and quote they said I needed to remove my grill and get the part readjusted to look factory. I honestly didnt notice until they pointed it out. When I took it in to get repaired, they called me because they also didnt notice the part was in need of being readjusted. I had to point out what I was made aware of by one of THEIR staff. They did the repair with a few extra charges claiming they needed to replace some clips. I did not mind the additional cost since it was to be covered by the responsible party so long as my car was back to factory condition. When I got the car back and after a week the part was loose and looking worse than when I bought it in.I let them know and asked for it to be repaired back to factory issued condition as they claim on their advertising and also asking that they honor their lifetime guarantee. They looked it in again and said it could not be fixed because it was a manufacturers defect and asked me to look at other Civics because they all have the same issue. I have friends with the same car and it did not have the defect. In short they were trying to pass the buck. When I refused to take that as an answer they begrudgingly tried to fix it again.When I received it again, the part had a big uneven gap and guess what? The original scratch was still there. They just masked it and did not fix it.I called their District Manager to let him know and he said I would have to pay to have the repair done the right way. So what did I bring it in for except for them to not fix what they were supposed to fix and on top of that make my car look worse?Ultimately they tried to get out of their responsibility by just trying to refund me instead of fixing what they did not fix the first time. Also they left the part looking worse than when it came in and simply tried to blame their shoddy work on Honda. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT bring your car here!!!Update 10/12/19Response to my review is completely false as the only damage that was on the car was what they quoted for, charged to fix, and what further damage they did. I have pictures and quotes from their other establishment in Mesa to prove they are flat out lying. Not to mention the fact that they are now not returning my requests to get clarification on what they did to try and fix their mistakes, which caused more issues.The fact that they intentionally misrepresented the issue to cover a bad review is enough to label them beyond shady at this point.@Gerber in Tempe take responsibility for what your company neglected to do at first and then what they did, haphazardly to try and fix it which caused more damage. If you fail to respond in reasonable time legal action will be imminent. Dont test me.

Gerber. specifically Bill, really took care of me after an accident. My jeep wasnt the worse for ware but they really did take care of the details. there were some issues that I needed to get a second opinion for because they dont handle 4X4 vehicles as well (it is not out of the ordinary) but they even handled a break in situation that happened while the vehicle was out of my control. Very impressed. well done
I didnt have much to fix. All mechanics in workshop were great to talk and did a good job. But adjuster, Roger, wasnt a great in communication. After first meeting/analysis, I called and emailed to follow up but never got any response from him. He also didnt write exactly what we discussed during estimate.
It goes without saying absolutely nobody enjoys the process of having an accident, making an insurance claim and going the the process of getting it repaired. These people at Gerber truly make it 100x easier as they take care of you along the way with OUTSTANDING customer service and extremely fast repairs. Although I hope I never have to do business with them again...
I took my car here(2013 Toyota corolla) and I couldnt be more happy with the results. Someone rear ended me(05/29/2018) and there was printed licence plate, dents, scratches on my back bumper from the collision. I also had prior damage on my rear left side(someone scratched from work). I took my car at Gerber collision & glass @ S priest Dr Tempe AZ 85282 on 05/31/2018 and I got it fixed at the same day. Im very impressed because I remember before when I had to fix my car at the other place, It took them a week to get my car fixed. I honestly dont known anything about the car(because Im agirl) but Roger Seymour (Adjuster) explained me everything about the damages in details; what to repairs. Brian Kelly was my Estimator, he followed up with me. I had my car back in the same day. My car looks brand new now. Im very happy with my experience. Thank you again, very impressed. Update! This location is now under new management and contacted me after seeing my review. Im happy to report that my truck is no longer making noise and the headlight and door are fixed too! Thank you Feryl and Brian K!My truck was repaired here after an accident. Even after taking it back TWICE I still have noise from the front end and my passenger side headlight wont stay plugged in. Just gonna fix it on my own because its better than dealing with the clowns at this place.
Instead of using the phone number given to them, they decided an old number linked to an old insurance policy would be a good contact number. That went to my ex wife... They also said that they were fine to work on the car even though the tow truck driver dropped it off at their location and they were NOT assigned to work on it. One of the people there claimed that HE did the inspections on behalf of MetLife, not a MetLife inspector... The whole situation felt shady as hell.
Had my vehicle dropped off on 6/7 and was told my vehicle was going to be ready on 6/12. They actually completed my vehicle by the 10th and It looks like I was never side swiped. Great customer service as well as speedy but quality service as well. Thanks to Brian Kelly for explaining everything that was going to happen to my vehicle as well as keeping me updated with emails every time something was done.
They said it would take 8 days to fix my car. It took 5 weeks. When my car was “ready” I found body panel gaps, a light fascia that was not installed properly and the seats stained with grease or oil. It took another week to fix those issues. When I finally drove the car there were several odd noises. When I asked them to fix it they said I needed two front tires. They then lied to my insurance company about how they isolated the sound. Something they never told me. These people are dirty rotten scoundrels. Total crooks. Horrible customer service. Never take your car to any Gerber.
Brought my car here for some scratch work and odor removal. The panels they refinished look brand new and the odor is completely gone, my car feels like it did when I first bought it! They kept me informed throughout the whole process and everyone was genuinely kind.

This place was recommended by our Insurance Company for our collision, so I read the good reviews and thought this was the right choice for our vehicle. Well, here I am 2 months later and have had the worst experience. A month ago they sent us an update saying all they had left was to paint the front fender and we should have our vehicle ready in a week. That week turned into 2 weeks, which turned into 3 week, then 4 weeks. I normally dont like to write bad reviews but this is insane to have to wait this long.
Excellent service. I brought my car in for a missing piece of plastic but no job is too small for Gerber! They ordered the missing piece within a week and installed it before the coffee machine finished making my coffee. The price was fair.I highly recommend Gerber for everyone including for jobs that are not covered by insurance.
They done an excellent job with my Lexus! I was a bit weary of the mixed reviews but I seen others saying that this location is being ran by new manangement so i gave it a shot. And I am very thankful that I did.. they seriously went out of their way to make sure that I was satisfied with my repair and they done it a bit quicker than the estimated time which was great because I was beginning to miss my car lol. Overall I would definitely recommend.

This stems back to a car we had fixed there in July We have had issues getting a reimbursement for over a month now. The service provided was awful. Our car had issues that were over looked and Mike told us we had to continue driving out car with a broken part. We found out there were more issues because we took our car to Mini cooper and we have been told we are supposed to get reimbursed Per Monica since day one that we took the car back on 09/26/19 we told them about the car having issues back on Sept 15th when we actually drove the car. We had it sitting for a bit because we just had a baby and we were using our other vehicle. This as been the worst service by far. Mike didn’t want us to get an additional rental just told us to drive the car like that. We will not be returning to Gerber and as of today we still don’t have our reimbursement
Had to take my car in there after being hit. Within 30 min of arriving they assessed the damage and I was on my way. The staff was friendly a quick. I got regular updates on the progression of the work. When I got the car back, the repairs were done well and they blended the paint well. No criticism here, great job.
I came for an estimate for what I knew to be light damage on my bumper.Jared came out and inspected the vehicle. After he was done, I waited for about five minutes in the waiting room. To my delight and surprise, he asked me to come out to look at something. He had cleaned the damage and, underneath it all, was barely a scratch.He could have given me an estimate that wasnt necessary. He could have chosen not to take the simple step of cleaning the paint transfer and decided to write an estimate for work that wasnt required, which I probably would have paid.I will come back if I ever need work because of this experience because I now have trust that Gerber will do the right thing.

I just received my truck back from Gerber and I couldnt be more happy with the results. After being rear ended I was worried that my truck would never be the same, but the staff at Gerber Collision on Priest Drive in Tempe made my truck like new again and I am extremely thankful. Special thanks to the General Manager Bill Huffine. He really went out of his way, talked to me personally on the phone about my vehicle, and eased my mind about the difficult situation I was in. He showed compassion about my personal situation and that really showed me he cares about his customers. Jordan C. was my estimator and was great at keeping me informed step by step as they fixed my truck for me, worked with the insurance company of the man who caused the accident so I wouldnt be stressed. I will definitely continue to use them for any of my familys auto body needs and refer them to friends and family! Very happy with my experience!
DO NOT COME HERE!I was in a wreck, which is awful and stressful as it is, and the estimator here was awful. He was so rude that I was shocked, he was unresponsive, unprofessional, and honestly seemed to have no desire to fix my car at all.He looked at my car for 30 seconds and told me to bring it back in almost 2 weeks. I expressed to him that I was afraid to drive the car with the frontal damage and asked how he could know that it was drivable without even looking under the car or the hood.I told him I really did not want to wait that long to have it fixed and asked if there was anything I could do. He told me that it was up to me if I wanted to use them or not. It is what it is and walked into the building without saying anything else.My entire interaction with him was probably under 3 minutes. I was floored and that was the icing on the cake for me with that whole day.This estimator was horrible and clearly was not interested in my business. I have great insurance as well! USAA.I called my insurance and they referred me to Caliber Collission (two doors down). I went in the next morning, they were kind, thorough, and took my car right then and walked me to Enterprise to get my rental next door. Rick was my estimator and I will recommend him to anyone and everyone! He followed up with me daily and I had my car back in less than a week! It was painless and my car is perfect! Better than it was before I wrecked it! It made me week and Im so surprised at the difference in businesses and customer service. Night and day!Moral of the story- Dont go to Gerber Collision! Go to Caliber!

Hi,I went thru Gerber Collision in Priest Dr, Temp last month due to my car accident. My insurance was GEICO. They professionally fixed my car issue in due time and promptly updated the status.By the way I lost my garage door remote during the process (I have to rent a car) but they even refunded the fee for my new garage door remote.Their excellence service and extra mile convinced me to give them 5 stars. Horrible experience!! Find somewhere else to fix you car. I had a small wreck and it took them 2 weeks to fix it after they told me it was only gonna take 5 days. Very unprofessional. It might be faster to do it yourself at that point. Cost me more in rental fees than to fix my car.

If you own a Jeep Wrangler do not take it to this place. Yes the staff is friendly but the work is horrible. I emailed manager a week ago still no reply. First time my Jeep was here for 3 weeks I took it back after all the defects I notice . I got it back 2 weeks later with same defects and one repair, the fix looks worse then it was .
These guys are absolutely horrible. First they claim damage to my flair was not related to my accident, so now my insurance company refuses to cover it. Then they actually painted over rust, I can show that because the guy was so lazy he didnt even paint over all of rust. I wouldnt send my worst enemies beater to the shop.
Not impressed with the work . Paint has run downs .Door hanging, bolts on hinges pealing and loose hinge, door needs to be picked up to close. Door repair horrible air noise when driving . Door dont line up with the body . Including fenders . Puddle of paint on a door that wasnt even damage but was repainted for some reason . Jeep Wrangler was in shop for 3 weeks.
They were quick in getting to the repairs, but their calculations for how much your vehicle is worth are garbage.
This place is terrible.Theyve changed the estimated completion date three times because were waiting on parts.My insurance reccomend this place and i cant warn anyone in the same situation enough.Look somewhere else.
I actually have used this particular shop before about 5 years back...Quality was good, I had no question in going back this time in July 2016. Im assuming the young lady receptionist is new, and just needs training. She doesnt even acknowledge your presence. After standing there for awhile right in front of her, I seen a sign up sheet....so I signed in and sat down. Danny greeted me professionally, we took care of business showing him damages, chips and paint transfers to the grill. I was assured the truck would be detailed and all defects gone over with QA. He gave me all my info and handed me off to the rental car person. After a week of texts giving me status of my repair (which was pretty cool) the day before it was to be ready, Brian called and told me it may be the next day. No problem...I urged him not to rush. This truck is new, and the most expensive vehicle I have ever bought...I want it as perfect as possible! Next day...I spoke with Danny at 2:30 in the afternoon. Truck was to be ready at 4PM. He told me it may be a little later, the truck was clean, not detailed, and adding one part. No problem...again, I urged him DO NOT RUSH, I would rather wait! He explained to me it will be ready that day....5-5:30 at the latest. I told him I have to take time off of work to get there by that time...so please be sure it will be ready. I can wait until the next day. No worries Danny explained...it will be ready for you. Cool! I arrived at 5PM to find out not only was my truck not ready, but Danny had left at 4:30....no call, nothing on my end. Brian was very professional and apologized, explained it will be ready the next day. He will even have it delivered if I cant leave work. SWEET!! Next day came, I didnt receive a call or voicemail, so I called. After several attempts of getting the national Gerber office call center I finally got a hold of receptionist who transferred me to Danny. Yes, I upset, and after he told me the truck is ready and has been sitting out front, I told him I was not happy with how he handled the day before. Of course, he did nothing wrong...it was my fault for showing up at the time he told me to.I arrive to pick up my truck. Receptionist took my money, I was handed a folder, my keys, and that was it. No one goes over the cars repairs with you any more?? I wasnt expecting much at this point, so Ieft the office. While inspecting the truck on my own, I seen the paint transfer was still present. I do not know the gentlemans name, but when I came back in to request someone to talk to, this guy came out and met with me. Super guy...very professional....and he fixed the paint transfer problem on the spot. We shook hands, he apologized for all the prior problems (so apparently he knew about it since I didnt mention it) and was the only person professional enough to acknowledge it.It wasnt until I got home that I notice two large parts missing from under the wheel well. Two large mud and water shields. All my wires were exposed, and I was shocked that it was missed on both sides of the vehicle. On the damaged side, as well as the undamaged side. I returned to Gerber at 8:30 AM next day Sat. The same professional guy that I dont know his name but he helped the previous day, was there in the receptionists chair. I showed him the problem. I even gave him the part so he could get part numbers off the part to order. I showed him areas of poor quality assembly, the damaged side did not match the undamaged side, plus paint was scrapped off new parts during installation. He said he would order parts...fix the poor installation quality, touch up paint that was missing, and even touch up the chips on the hood. I left with my truck, in the hopes that things will work out.As a business man....I would like to know if my office was failing. To fail is one thing....to hide and not own it? Then find that the quality and QA was very substandard....leaving it up to the nameless guy to deal with the frustrated customer.....that gotta be the worst!!
Initially saw the mediocre reviews online and was in two minds whether I should go with Gerber or look for another shop. Geico offered paperless transaction + fast repair service thru them so went with it..I am so glad i did!!The car needed pretty much all of the drivers side repaired + repainted after a shopping cart side swipe incident.- Dropped the car off on a Monday afternoon.- Geico claims inspector was on site, went over the damage.- Picked up the car Wednesday evening the same week!- There is an enterprise counter on site, geico + enterprise had my rental ready, the drop off was shorter than a grocery run!These guys had me squared away in about 72 hours. Phenomenal.Brian Kelly kept me posted on the repair status, even had the shop run a free buff on the hood to take care of some scratches. I would highly recommend Gerber, especially if youre going thru Geico.
