I took my 2018 Jeep Wrangler to Bullitt Automotive and was very pleased with the service received from Robert, Steve and their technicians. Professional shop and fair pricing. In addition to the oil change, they performed a thorough inspection of the vehicle and indicated services that will be needed in the next couple of months. I also had the opportunity to meet the shop owner Margaret and she was great too. Highly recommend this shop for your vehicle maintenance and repairs.

Great place to get your car fixed. I had a blown motor on my 2015 mustang and i bought a used motor and they replaced the whole engine on the car and got it running nice and smooth in about 4 days. If there is one mechanic shop i can trust with fixing my car. It’s gotta be this one. Great staff especially Todd for helping me out with my choices on how to fix the car. They are very reliable and honest with their work.

Im a busy guy, usually I try to solve my own automotive issues but its getting hot and both mine and my wifes ac both went out within a week of each other. No BS, figured it out fixed the problem fast and cheap. Didnt even charge me a full hour of labor on my ac, now that is out of the ordinary. I found this place because it was right next to my (former) apartments and have been pleased with the service, the speediness and the team. I mostly come to get oil changes but have had a headlight replaced too.

This place should get 6 out of 5 stars. I’m never going anywhere else again. We had car trouble and got our car towed there by a friends referral. They had the car fixed and ready for pick up the same day. I couldn’t believe how professional and courteous they were. They answered our questions so we completely understood what happened and followed up with progress throughout the day. I didn’t feel rushed like I was just a number. I always feel that way at dealerships. This could have been a very stressful experience and they made it run smooth. They were amazing!

Came here after going to two other mechanics for a knock sensor issue. Despite being slammed with other customers and faced with a challenging task of tapping a bolt thread in a tight spot, these wonderful people were able to help me out right away and for a great pricer. I have taken other vehicles to this shop to do balancing. This time I had my car get an alignment with balancing of course they charged me like any shop would. Previously they had explained that the reason other shops could not get the balancing correctly is bc all weights should be removed to do a correct balancing I noticed the vehicle didn’t change after I picked it up so I checked the weights and noticed all my tires had old weights on them. It also had new weights as well now they are telling me that old weights don’t have to be removed to do a balancing and if I wanted it redone they will have to charge me again plus charge me for the extra weights as well. When I called the first said he personally saw them removing the weights and adding the new ones when I showed up he said it only needed extra. Very disappointed I thought I finally found a place that is professional but I was wrong.Update: Steve called us back hours later and asked to bring the car back For him to take a look at it so I did. He did tell me that the balancing was definitely off but he fixed it to drive it and see if it was better for me. I am now pleased with the vehicle thank you for doing that! it’s just a shame I had to place a bad review for someone to acknowledge the error I know that there is no such thing as being perfect therefore I am retracting my 1 star to a 5 star review. I do wish you guys well!

I have taken my vehicle to Bullitt 3-4 times now and have always had superior service there! These guys are the best at what they do! I just had my front brakes done there today and the office man informed me that my front hubs were loose which i did not even notice, they went ahead and took the hubs apart and tightened them FOR FREE! This is 1 of the main reasons i will ALWAYS take my vehicle to these professional men who go above and beyond the call to make sure your vehicle is in tip top shape! I always go to Bullitt, because they are trustworthy and a family owned business. If they do not have a part, they quickly find someone who does and take care of you that same day. The waiting room is comfortable and clean and they have outside seating as well to allow for social distancing. Great place to take your “baby” if you love your car like I do. Highly recommend. :)

It has a very good service. Be sure to bring Costco coupon as well, with labor and parts 15% off. They will advise you first to have either labor or parts 15% off, which is not correct. So, be careful!

I have taken my car to Bullitt for a couple of years now and have always had great service! I consider myself a DIY person but got hung up on a project a few weeks ago and could not get anywhere with it. I took it to Bullitt to see what they could do. Not only did they fix it, they got TWO mechanics working on it so I didnt have to wait, despite them being busy that day. I was very impressed by their level of service and attention to detail, and will definitely be back for any automotive needs I have in the future!

I have a 2007 Prius and these guys are awesome, not just for my 5000 mile oil changes, but when things go wrong with my car as well. They always check to see if parts have recalls or warranties, and they make sure to fully explain and show me whats wrong with my car. I never feel patronized or brushed off like at some other car places. Clinton is always super helpful and I feel like he remembers my car each time I go in, which is awesome!

Bullitt Automotive was a sweet relief after having my vehicle in another shop and having no one so much as even look at it for a week. Here they worked on my van (super old btw) same day, called regularly with updates and explained the vehicle issues and process in detail. Professional, friendly, communicative, and timely. Robert and Quintin were the main ones helping me, great guys, highly recommend.

We have been taking our cars and truck to Bullitt (even before with Kens Auto) for years. They have proven themselves repeatedly to be honest and professional. Our cars and truck have a combined mileage of 490,000 miles. Youngest has over 150,000 miles. They have always worked with me to keep my expenses low and finish the work quickly. In fact, my only complaint has been that they finish the work before I finish my computer work that I bring to fill the time in the waiting room. Kudos to Clinton and Mike on my visit today for a motor mount replacement on my Scion 2012 (at 170,000 miles). I recommend them to all my friends.

Even though I live way out in Gilbert, I always take my car here for all its repair and maintenance needs. Clinton is a large contributing factor to this. He always lets me know when I call ahead of time if I can be seen so I dont need to drive down and wait for a long time or drop off my car. He works with me to make sure I understand everything thats happening with my car, be it something complex like replacing valves or as simple as an oil change. Hes also very friendly and tries to get everyone the best deal. No one likes having to pay out for car repairs, but I trust this shop to get things done correctly and not overcharge me. I enjoy coming here and would highly recommend them!

This place is great. I have been taking my car and truck here for 2 years and have never had a bad experience. Clinton at the front desk is extremely helpful and will do everything he can to get you in and out as quickly as possible. 10/10 would recommend!

We had all our car repairs and maintenance done at Kens Auto from the time he opened, probably in the early 90s. When my car was under warranty and the dealer recommended major maintenance, I always got a second opinion at Kens, saving me hundreds of dollars every time.When Ken retired and sold to Bullitt, his mechanics stayed, a vote of confidence in new management. We get the same outstanding service at Bullitts as we did at Kens.

Normally I am a do it yourself kind of guy, I was unable to diagnose the cause of cylinder 5 misfire after attempting replacing components like the coil pack and the spark plug. I swallowed my pride and looked for a shop which had good reviews and seemed to have good diagnostic capability. Not only did they get the car in the next day, they correctly diagnosed a near broken/shorted wire in the coil pack plug feed and I picked up the E150 van shortly after lunch and test drove it on way home and all is good with the 4/6L engine!

Brought in my truck for an oil change and to have my a/c looked at and it was done within 2 hours, I didn’t even make an appointment. My a/c is finally blowing out cold air. These guys know their stuff, are very friendly, and have very affordable prices. I defiantly recommend coming here.

Always quick and accurate, they actually care about their work and make sure that your car is safe to drive. They will never try to make you pay extra and will not try to trick you into extra repairs. Never taking my car anywhere else.

Outstanding service, honest and reliable. I have been bringing my older Volvos to BULLIT for over 3 years and cant say enough good things about this business. It reminds me of the old days when you knew your car was in good hands. If your reading this, please bring your car there for servicing and repairs as we need to support locally privately owned businesses. They have a nice waiting room and usually have a driver to get you home and back.

They get the work done quick and at a reasonable price. They have even worked (price-wise) with me on some additional repairs in order to fix a transmission fluid leak. They have become my preferred shop in Phoenix.

Bullitt has always been incredibly professional, and they’ve never upsold me on anything. I live in Scottsdale but I come down to Tempe just for these guys. They might not be the friendliest or want to chat, but their work is A+.

I visited Bullitt last fall for a brake problem, which seemed difficult to fix the problem as it involved multiple parts, but they found the problem at once. I got a replacement for the power brake vacuum hose as per their advice, and the problem was completely resolved.But unfortunately, I had the same problem a few weeks ago. I visited Bullitt again to report the problem, and they determined that the replacement part was bad. Since Bullitts service have a warranty for one year, I replaced them free of charge and fixed all the problems.The problem was in a new part of Ford, and they were happy to find it and fix it within Warrenty.I have already introduced Bullitt to my friends. You can try too. You can get the perfect service and you will be happy.

Clinton and the Bullitt team took great care of me. I went in for a routine oil change, and it was just that — routine. I stayed in the waiting area while it was completed, and was in and out. While waiting, another customer’s car finished up, and Clinton gave her the lowdown on the additional issue that was found. He was transparent and caring in delivering the news, and he and the other talked for a few minutes casually — there wasn’t a rush to get them out, and any question they raised was answered. While that’s not always the case wherever you go, it does seem to be here. Bullitt and Clinton will continue to have my business for the foreseeable future.

Everything went great and would recommend it to anyone who is having car problems staff is great,friendly and reasonable price.

I found Bullitt on Google maps and decided to go there for my first time to change a brake light for my 2013 Nissan Altima. I brought my own bulb from Walmart which cost me $6. The team changed my bulbs in less than 15 minutes. Robert and Clinton were super nice. I was shocked when these guys, whom Ive never met, told me that I didnt have to pay for anything! Their act makes our community proud.By the way, Autonation was gonna charge me $50 for the bulb and $50 for labor for only one side of the brake light. Glad that I found Bullitt today.

So many great things to say about the shop Im not even sure where to start. First and foremost they actually really do care about you and your safety! LOL my husband and I work different schedules so its often left to me by myself to deal with any car issues I may have. I cant tell you the number of times Ive gone in there and told them I thought I needed a brake job and they told me that I didnt.they could have easily told me I needed a $500 brake job and I wouldnt have known any different. I feel comfortable going up there by myself and I know that theyre not going to take advantage of me! Theyre always able to get me in at the last minute. Because you know car troubles never happen when its convenient! On top of all that theyre just nice friendly decent people. Had a great experience here with Clinton. Came in for oil change, tire rotation, and to get car checked out before a long trip. They checked everything out and found what looked to be a big problem with bearings that turned out to be a simple seal replacement and charged me less than originally quoted. I really felt taken care of and would recommend everyone to come here to get your car taken care of!!

I live in Queen Creek and will always make a point to go to Bullitt Automotive when I need repair work on my vehicle. I dont want to drag out a long story and bash a certain mechanic by my house. So, the certain mechanic shop said I needed some serious work done (I always went to these guys and trusted them....or thought I did) So I got a second opinion and dropped it off at Bullitt on my way to work. Todd was so helpful and honest. Said it was nothing and would cost pennies to what the other guys said. Todd told me he runs a business based on return customers, if he lies to them then they do not come back. It seemed like he was truly genuine in his responses to me. Saying my car has a lot of issues would be the understatement of this year and the last. Its only a 2011, but the parts within it were poorly made and thus, break often. Bullitt Automotive though has always been there to not only help me, but explain everything about what broke and why in a clear, concise manner to someone who knows next to nothing about cars. Clinton in particular has a very professional and friendly way of interacting with customers, so that even when I get bad news, its somehow less terrible when its coming from him. The mechanic who last worked on my car, Jr., also went above and beyond to service my car even when the shop was very crowded. We only take our car here because they are so honest and always do an amazing job. All the reviews raving about their honest good workmanship are not exaggerating! Just today they had a mechanic who happened to have a spare part from one of his own cars and they happily gave it to us and saved us 80 dollars! Bullet and their staff are amazing! I drove in at 9:00 a.m. without an appointment and I walked out at 9:40 with my oil changed.

The other day I had my wife bring my car in for a simple routine oil change. No chips no scratches or dings in the vehicle. I get home from work and walk past my car and saw a dent. I asked her what happened. She didn’t hit anything. We called bullitt automotive to ask did they damage my vehicle. They all gave me the short answer. So I asked for the manager they put me on hold for 20 mins and when he got on the phone I explained what happened and all he could say is sorry and not our problem. I will not be using them again in the future.

I took my truck in for some differential issues I was having. Instead of trying to just change out parts and charge me an arm and a leg, they recommended another shop that could help me better.

The Bullitt Automotive team has taken exceptionally good care of my cars for years now and I highly recommend utilizing their services. They have your best interest in mind and they arent here to inflate prices on you. I feel comfortable coming here as a single young woman and I know that they arent going to rip me off.I recently had an AC issue and I (very regrettably) took my car to Brake Masters on Mill before I took my car to these guys that Ive had a long-standing relationship with. While Brake Masters took 2 hours to diagnose the same issue that took Bullitt 30 minutes, Brake Masters also intentionally tried to deceive me and say that parts were broken that were not, and it would be $500+ to fix the issue. I told them a fat HELL NO and took my car to Bullitt, the most genuine and authentic mechanics around. Turns out, this issue was incredibly simple- the motor for one of my engine fans was loosely fastened, causing it to come on intermittently. Instead of emptying my wallet, Bullitt snapped the plug back in place and sent me home with perfectly functional AC and even a new headlight (which ORilleys said would be $100, which was also a lie!).The Bullitt Automotive team has always been consistent and theyre just good people. I recommend coming here for any service, whether you are trying to buy a new car and want it checked out by a mechanic, need an oil change, or have any other issues, this is your place. I especially recommend this mechanic for all the colleges kids out there trying to find a dependable mechanic at a fair price!

I have two Volvos, a 98 & 08. I recently brought my 98 in for a repair due to my own doing (stupidity). I spoke with Todd who had Steve look at my car. If there’s a Great Lake named Volvo, Steve walks on that water! He knew what he was doing, quickly diagnosing and repairing the problem without charging me an arm and a leg. They were honest, fast and SO reasonable. There is nowhere else I will bring either of my cars for any repairs or service. Oh, I have a Honda Odyssey as well. It too will be coming here for service.I was originally referred to Bullitt Automotive by a friend and I recommend them now to anyone. My car is now running smoothly!Bullitt is the best! Yay Steve!

I was referred by a friend for an alignment. I was so impressed with this shop, I took my old pickup with a worn out engine that was sitting on the side of the house collecting dust because it wasnt running, in. They are now rebuilding the engine for me. They have been great communicating with me the whole time and have explained everything that was wrong so even I could understand.
