AHR Mechanical has been servicing our home HVAC system for 2+ years. We have three units and whether we require annual maintenance or repair, they are always professional, good natured, and responsible. Nathan is part of their repair team and hes been to our house a few times. No matter the temperature outside he remains cool, calm, and friendly. We always know they have our best interest. As a repeat customer, I always feel like we get expedited and extra special treatment.

We had AHR come out and clean out years of dryer vent lint as new dryer was taking forever to dry laundry. Nathan was our technician and did a thorough job of clearing the line. He was professional and knowledgeable. Would recommend him without reservation.

After going through 9 days of pure hell with my home warranty company trying to get a reputable HVAC company to fix my A/C in 115 degree weather, I finally had to go out on my own and find someone that could successfully do the job. A colleague recommended AHR and strongly encouraged me to call them. Even though they were out of my warranty companys network, out of desperation I placed the call. Chris, with AHR, arrived at my home within four hours of the initial call (which itself was nothing short of miraculous) and he was the definition of pure joy. His professionalism, knowledge, and calm demeanor lowered the temperature not only of my home, but of my stress level as well! An hour after Chris arrival, he had the system up and running, had straight-forward conversations with me about the future issues my units could have, and a multitude of options available to me going forward. WHERE DID THIS AMAZING HUMAN COME FROM? From now on there is only one company I will EVER have come to my home for HVAC repair - AHR!

Had my HVAC system checked this morning by AHR mechanic Nathan. On time, polite, professional - Nathan checked everything and gave me the lowdown on my unit. Some issues he said I should take care of before too long. I told Nathan I had some recent large expenditures, and was unable to have any repairs done at this time. No pressure from Nathan, just advice...really a nice fellow! I will have AHR take care of the problems hopefully in the not too distant future.

Facing the Summer of COVID with an AC system that was almost 25 years old, I made the decision to seek replacement of my AC/Heating system. Although not the least expensive, AHR did indeed install an excellent system, and they worked with us to help my wife and me fine tune the system to our individual needs. Although we have lived in Scottsdale for 16 years, this has been our first summer season here in Arizona. I must say that the efficiency of the new TRANE system has helped us keep energy costs at a reasonable level. We must also recognize that Mike Jegoda was very helpful and understanding as we worked to achieve our common goals of installation and fine-tuning the new system. THANK YOU.

We had a duct separation at a T Junction in out attic. I tried to tape it up to get us though the summer, but my patch job wasnt hold. AHR gave me an estimate and came out and fixed it. They came in under the original estimate. Each time I have used AHR for my AC, I have been very pleased and happy with their service. They definitely have a loyal customer from me.

When we first moved here to Arizona 8 years ago - I checked out the reviews for AHR which were very encouraging. When they first came - we were definitely impressed with the technicians and service. After they came and said everything looked good, our next door neighbors had a different company come a day later to their house. Their technician said they would give us a free service inspection. After the inspection, they told us 3 different problems we had but they could fix them for a considerable amount of money. Thus, we have continued our service with AHR and continue to be impressed over the years.We were glad to see that our technician was Christian who came again this year. We highly recommend him and this very impressive family run business that does not have technicians that receive a commission.

AHR is a great company. I had a issue with my AC and had two companies that my Home Warrenty company sent out fix it. Both companies failed to fix the problem. AHR caame out and fixed it no problem. 2 years later I had to replace my unit cause it was 20 years old. I used AHR again for that and was very happy with their service and price for a new unit. Their Employees are very friendly and do great work. They even put on covers for their shoes when I told them it was not needed since my floors are wood. I also have them come out twice a year just for AC check ups. Great Company, use them and you will be happy with their service.

AHR is a life saver.Before a friend recommended AHR I had spent more than 2 weeks, on and off, waiting for repairs for a unit that never got repaired. Had Derrick out today, Nov 22, 2019, to determine e why the furnace would not turn on and why the thermostat had error messages. He tested the system and determined its was a faulty thermostat, which was replaced. Derrick was courteous, clean,listened and followed appropriate steps plus did various tests to assure the system was operating correctly. A good AHR representative .

I had Derek Franke out today to perform my fall maintenance....and what a pleasure it was having him here.He was very informative and showed pictures of concerns he had with my unit.He did a great job of cleaning my blower wheel and compartment (with before and after pictures) and also installed me a surge protector to help protect my electrical components. We have been with AHR for about a year and they are amazing! The first tech (sorry I forgot his name) who did the a/c tuneup offered (and thankfully did not push) suggestions for preventative maintenance. The second tech, Derek, did our heater tuneup this fall and he was nice and efficient and was great with our nosey dog.Today (12/30) we had Chris come out because something was wrong with our water heater. He was knowledgeable and patient with me while I asked all sorts of questions. He was able to show me what was wrong, and unfortunately it’s nothing that can be fixed so he called in a new unit right away so we could get it installed in the morning. We appreciate his concern for our baby (and toddler) not having hot water, so we are grateful for him putting this in as a priority.Thank you AHR!!!!

Chris Reeves came in and within 20 minutes had our problem identified. After studying it for a while found a Cap needed to be replace instead of a compressor! That was quite a remarkable savings to us. Also he suggested we have the drain pan replaced due to rust, install a float valve and level our unit in the attic. All that would not have had to be done if the unit would have been properly installed. We have not be in the house long and our house is only 3 & 1/2 years old. I would recommend these guys to anybody that asked.

Had Chris and Chris out today for an AC system inspection. I had been having difficulties maintaining temperature on the hot days. I told them that I was considering putting in a new system, so they kept there maintenance recommendations to a minimum with that in mind. They added refrigerant which seemed to have immediate results. They also provided me with alternatives should I decide to replace the system. Both Chriss were courteous and competent. I now consider AHR my AC guys.

After of having the same units work for our house for 27 years it was time to replace both of them instead of putting a band aid on them and waste the money I decided have them replaced. The other company said we needed to rewire the thermostat to the tune of $800!Leigh determined we could use the current wiring - not an issue! Service was fast, easy and professional. The Nest is operating as expected. We have been Cactus Club members for about 7 years - excellent, honest service. I would highly recommend them!!!

Came back to AZ in mid october to find my AC outside component inoperative. No fan, no coolingCalled AHR who have serviced our systems in the past. Same day service easily arranged. The guys soon found the trouble to be chewed wires inside the compartment. Once the wire repaired also noted slightly less than optimal cooling probably due to dirty coils and possibly low freon. They suggested to ride with the repair and leave a comprehensive service to the spring. They will remind us with a call in the spring.Good experience as usual. Thanks

AHR Mechanical did an inspection today and found some serious issues. Nate was our technician and I explained my mom just came home from the hospital and she wasnt doing the best and she has very strict rules on how things should go ...lol. He was extremely patient kind friendly knowledgeable and professional. He made a very difficult situation turn out extra great. Nate also gave us several options so we could afford the repairs and a great quote on a new unit should we decide to go that route. He called his office and I spoke with the manager and the accounts receivable person and both were so pleasant and nice to deal with. It made my mom very happy and she said they were very honest and honorable. She liked Nate a lot and said there are many companies who take advantage of seniors but she completely trusted Nate with his sweet and professional disposition. We have used a few companies over the 20 years because she likes to compare but we always come back to AHR because why use others when AHR always does the best and have the best people. Others in the past have not been honorable and took advantage of her with pricing and not being truthful. She said shes now comfortable never trying anyone else and will just let me call AHR. Everyone there we have worked with over the years have been great but I hope Nate continues with AHR!

This was the best experience ever during my 13 years with AHR. the technician, DARRELL was the best of the best. he was totally courtesious, extremely knowledgeable, when asked a question he responded quickly and intelligently and diagnosed my two a/c units perfectly . he even found a problem that shall be corrected which others have not found. We had an annual service done by AHR which was sponsored by SRP. The technician was thorough and let us know about the problem we were having with our unit without trying to sell us anything. He told us how we should best pursue the repairs as it was still under warranty and what type of costs we should expect. He was correct in all the information he gave us. I was really impressed with the time he took to explain the problem and give me honest answers.

Especially in the dead of summer. So much for customer service. Mike, who identified himself as the owner of this company could NOT have been more rude if he tried. We have ONLY used this company at our business for years and when we had an issue, because the cooler went out (that was replaced last summer)… With the type of industry we work in, its IMPOSSIBLE to run the business. We would have to shut down for the week which is not even an option.In a nutshell, the technician came out, said we needed a new motor and it would take a few days too order. Really? He said we needed to talk to Mike about this. We did so and he was very blunt, rude, arrogant and said he needs his tech out on other calls and cant help us today. I was pretty shocked. We even asked if WE went up the street to buy the motor could the tech put it in? Once again NO... I think the thing that disgusts me the most right now is just how he spoke to our owner. We MUST have air today. NOT NEXT WEEK or later in the week, but TODAY...and this was very possible, because we were even willing to do half of their work by going to a place and buying one.END RESULT: My guys went and bought a motor, stopped production on our business and installed it themselves. We are up and running cool air now, however my company, the entire industrial complex I work in and anyone we know, I will absolutely NOT recommend this place. Its actually very sad that they did that. Good luck!

Recently, my wife and I decided to replace our air conditioners (2) and heating units(2) so we called four prominent companies in the area to give us bids. We were impressed with A H R ‘s bid, products and personnel. A H R’s were on time, professional, efficient and courteous. Because my attic entrance way is very small, the area around the entrance suffered some damage due to lowering and raising equipment through this small space. After the installation job was completed, one of the installers returned and repaired my attic entrance way. A month after the installation, we discovered the air condition unit was running almost constantly. We call A H R Mechanic Services and a repair person was dispatched the next day. Again we got efficient and expert service for the problem was diagnosed and the repair part ordered. On the date scheduled, the repairman returned with the proper part, installed it, checked to insure that everything was operating properly.It is a pleasure doing business with A H R Mechanic Services.

He did a very thorough job, including inspecting all the vents, the handler and duct work in the attic, and the condenser unit outside. He took his time and explained everything he was doing as he did it. We were very pleased with the service and will definitely be using AHR in the future.

My technician Chris arrived a few minutes early, shoe protectors in hand. He was courteous, knowledgeable and diagnosed a few problems I was having. He gave me a few options to solve the problem..never trying to “sell me” on a perspective. He made sure that I had all of the info needed in order to go forward. I’ve used AHR for the last several years and I really trust them. Looks like I’ll be seeing more of them in the near future...thank you AHR for you integrity and competence!

We Have been using AHR Mechanical for several years. They are always professional, courteous and timely. Mike and Danold recently took care of us on a Saturday when my main A/C went out hours before out of town relatives were arriving. They had me up and running in an hour even though they had to order parts for the permanent repair the following week.

We have been clients for 30 years. AHR does quality work and stands behind their products. We would not consider any other heating and cooling service. The service we had this week was HVAC maintenance. The tech arrived early wearing a mask and shoe covers. He completed the work in less than an hour. Very professional and courteous. Would rate the service a 5 on a 1-5 scale (5 being exceptional).

I have to add this to my review below: Christian just came out to do a check up on my air conditioner and work on my evap that would not power on. I could not be more pleased with his expertise. He found the issue with the evap, ordered the parts and setup a service date. During his visit I encountered a medical issue, he was extremely concerned, went above and beyond to help me and reported my issue to management. Shortly after Christian left, I get a call from AHRs owner to check on me, not my air conditioner, but me.... how great is that???!This only adds to the reasons that I totally recommend AHR; they are not only technical experts, they are really great, caring people. I love you guys!*******************************************I found AHR Mechanical, almost 15 years ago, through a recommendation from Salt River Project when my old air conditioner finally died. I have been with AHR Mechanical ever since and would never think of using anyone else.I usually get the same technician that takes of my units. This is nice because they know the history of the units and the problems if any. I love their maintenance plan which includes bi-yearly checkups and discounts on repairs and services.I have 2 homes being serviced by AHR and they even take care of my evaporative cooler if it has problems.They are always on time, calling before they arrive. They never leave a mess and their technicians are always very professional and knowledgeable.I have recommended AHR to many and will continue to recommend them. Nate spent a lot of time cleaning our filters and adjusting our A/Cs. He also adjusted the vents in the master bath to even out the airflow. He was very courteous and friendly as well.

We needed to replace our air conditioner, we carefully searched out info on new units. We had service people come by with their presentation. We finally settled on AHR and Trane. They did a very quick and tidy install. They have been doing a checkup service for the last 10 years. We continue to be very pleased with their service.

After 17 years, our heat pump needed replacing instead of high-dollar fixes each year. That was OUR choice, not sales pressure from the tech who had come out a week before for an annual check-up of the system. We had a choice between heat pump brands & units within the brands, & were told the differences among them - again, OUR choice, no sales pressure. We really appreciated that approach. The install date was arranged, & 2 young men arrived within the quoted time frame. These technicians were very pleasant & considerate, as are ALL of the employees of AHR that Ive dealt with since 2005. At that time I was taken aback by AHRs prices until the owner explained that they were not the lowest nor the highest, but the quality & service were top-notch. After all these years, AHR has proved itself many times over & I trust them.
