This place is great! Everyone was very friendly. I knew I wanted to bring my kids, so I called the day before and made a reservation. Great pricing as well. Kids are 5 and 13.

Did a quick nail polish black French tip. The person who did it was not good (owner?). I was in a hurry and didnt have time to really correct her. Took off all the polish the next day. Yes, I know how to do nails, owned my own salon, so Im very picky.1- the black French tip was to fat looking, with no feminine curve to it.2- didnt put a base coat underneath the polish. Shouldve because it could stain the nail.3- the clear part of the nail- you could still see some black stain from her trying to clean the tip.All in all, was not a good job. Very disappointed.

Had pedicures with my son after a long, rainy week& just having some boy time. The ladies were awesome & didn’t do any less for him just because he’s 12. They took their time, were gentle & give a helluva calf massage. Thank you Amy & Lily!!!

Danny took care of my nails, both hands and feet. The service and quality were AMAZING!! Beyond happy and satisfied with everything. Will definitely return in future and recommend everyone to give this gem of a salon a try!

So I’ve been coming here for about 4 years and I usually go to the older guy on right side for dip powder, today I went to whoever was available I really needed my nails today before work today. Everything was going well until I noticed the color I choose look extremely different then what she was applying on my nails and she knew as well. So we tried to change it and put a darker color ontop but it didn’t work she had to drill off old color and apply new color I made it clear that I wanted a light neutral pink and I choose that TWICE. Second time she applied the color and it still didn’t match what I choose and at this point I was annoyed and just told her to continue because I have to work. Finished my nails and I literally cried in the chair because it was so ugly and the color looked a old lady edlerberry purple and they had the nerve to still charge me full price for nails I didn’t even want. Not even give a little discount for the inconvenience I experienced and for having to sit in there for 2 hours which was way longer than I intended. I usually never write reviews but this experience was terrible and I don’t think I will return.

I really wanted to try this place after reading all the reviews. I usually drive to Clearwater to my nail salon, but wanted to find something closer and just as good. Unfortunately, I did not find it. I got gel polish. My first complaint is that I chose a light pink that wasn’t see through, but it was still streaky and the color was not solid on my nail. My first nail chipped the next day. 4 days later, I now have 3 chipped nails. Normally my nails last 3-4 weeks with gel. They also completely filed down the top of the nail, which I’ve never had anyone else do before applying gel. Another thing I didn’t like is that my technician didn’t even talk to me. She kept speaking in Chinese to all the ladies around. Didn’t feel welcoming. Won’t be going back to this salon.

I went in as a walk in this morning at 9:30 for a pedicure. They only had 2 workers and 2 clients. They said since I did not have an appointment they could not take me but it clearly says walk ins welcome on the door. They did not ask if I was willing to wait. They just said “sorry“. Please alter the info you have advertised on your door. I waisted my time driving from Wesley Chapel when I could have easily went somewhere else.

Idk his name but a tall man was just in a rush the whole time. Cut my cuticles a couple times and then put alcohol or something to where it was burning. Started working on my feet before they were in the water. I think the whole time I was here my feet were in the water for a total of 60 seconds. Not taking his time at all. Put a hot towel on my knees OVER my leggings so now I sat in an uncomfortable wet leggings...didnt even put the towel on any other part of my legs...just my knees over my clothes.

I traveled a but to get to Sherry for my pedicure, she did a great job, soothing and refreshing. Kind and competent.

Joe is an artist! Did my nails with the dip powder in an amazing ombré, I love it!

Just found this wonderful place! Very welcoming. Peter is outstanding! This is definitely one of the best nail salons around. I felt very welcome, even though they had alot of customers Peter got me in right away. Unlike another one i went to Peter actually talked and made me laugh! Kudos and i definitely found my new nail place!! I highly recommend . MY nails look outstanding! The music also was nice!😀

I got acrylics and they made me pay $41 before they painted the nails. Then they painted and dida terrible job. The paint is streaky and needsmore coats. They also got paint on my fingers and under the nail

INCREDIBLE! RELAXING! First time at this salon. New to Tampa. I called at 2pm on a Friday and was able to get an appointment for 4pm. I had an amazing lavender spa pedicure and eyebrow wax. The pedicure by lavender candlelight includes full pedicure, 15 min massage, a lavender paraffin wax, hot oil rub, and hot stone massage. Then, great job on eyebrows. As I was walking up to pay, Sharon had me sit for a quick neck and shoulder massage. Definitely found my new Nail Salon!

I’ve been around the block when it comes to salons in this area. I love Danny and appreciate how well my nails hold up. I always call ahead to be on the safe to know if I have a wait ahead or not. Never disappointed in the service I receive here. It’s not over the top fancy but the quality of my nails is what is key and I always get exactly what I want.

This place is hands down the best in the area. My nails are always perfect! They go above and beyond with neck and hand massages with each service and offer complimentary drinks.

They do a great job! Nice atmosphere, spacious enough, friendly people...So glad I left my other salon and went here. I dont plan to ever look for another one.

Very friendly and super meticulously! Peter did a great job on my fill and Lily did a super job on my pedicure. I got the lavender spa pedicure, it was fabulous! My boyfriend also got a pedicure and was very pleased! Lily also did my brow wax and was very thorough. Great prices too! Definitely will be returning!

They do such a great job! My gel polish doesn’t chip and lasts for like three weeks! Pedicures are great and they put your heels in this softening/waxy magical mixture which is included in the regular pedicure. Everything ends with a quick back massage!

I love it here! Nails are well done, complimentary water, free neck and shoulder massage while your nails dry, and hand massage once your nails are ready. Even for basic service, I leave feeling pampered. Best time to walk in is during the week, in the morning time, otherwise make an appointment... You may have to wait!

Best lash extensions EVER !! Peter did an amazing job with my lashes. They looked fabulous, yet TOTALLY natural. I have had lash extension services several times, at some of the top spas in the area, but they do not come close to my experience at Family Nails and Spa.

Peter did an amazing job with my eyebrow threading and Lilly couldnt have been sweeter or more relaxing while doing my pedicure! All for a very good price too! I will 100% be going back - Such friendly service is hard to find around Tampa.

This is a nice salon, and they do a nice job. Wei is my favorite manicurist, but Ive used others, and all are good. I highly recommend this salon if youre looking for a qualify manicure.

Wanted to get the design but young lady had a hard time with the magnet. Maybe next time. She took her time with my toes and nails. Being a diabetic I have to be careful.

This place USED to be good. But I feel like they rush your nails and/or pedicures. They really push hard for you to do dipped nails and not much else. They do talk about the customers as well, my friend who was with me, understood the language and that’s just unacceptable for a place of business.

I went in to get my sns off and the man just shaved it off and took my nails with it! My nails are so thin now I can’t use them and I’ve been in pain for a while. When I asked for a refund a couple hours after it happened the lady laughed at me when I was trying to explain and gave me $5 back out of the $15 I spent. I’m not mad about the money but by the way it was handled

Danny is an amazing artist for nails he does good nails on kids and adults and he also did mine and my cousins nails and it was amazing

Came in as a walk in, was told 10 minute wait for a a pedicure. A lady came in a good 5 minutes after, she was told 15 minute wait for a pedicure. After sitting patiently for a good 20 minutes, they take the lady who walked in after me back to get started. When I asked why she was taken back before me if I came in first, all the man did was point at another nail tech and told me to ask her. Needless to say, I left!

Requested a mani/pedi. Got what I wanted. Employees are friendly pleasant and knew what they were doing. I would recommend it.

I love this place! But live far away and still drive there! But had taken some time off due to some sickness but tried calling there several times on different days to make appointment and No answer? Did they close?

I when to this place today and a old man was doing a really bad pedicure, not massage, I made the appointment for my daughter and I and they forget about me complete for 20 minutes and after the disaster pedicure I was told the lady that the guy dont do the right job and she started to laugh in my face. I not recommend this place to any person. Also I am going to file a complaint with BBB.

Peter was AMAZING!! finally found a place that does REAL gel nails as in New York real!! Not the acrylic powder crap called gel. I tried the new technology powder french nails OMG super great.

After I paid and was ready to leave the manager was telling me to give tip! Is not a requirement to give tip I paid and their prices went up as well! Never should it be mandatory or forced. I’ve been coming here before they were even owners and all they have been doing is raising the prices up!

Ive been to almost every nail salon in the area. I want to say family nails is the best. Great customer service, clean location, soothing music. And they are always coming up with news ways so massage and make everyone smile.

My experience @FamilyNailAndSpa was a absolute disaster... For one there employees were making derogatory comments about clients as they entered the door, really not most people don’t care about that but I just couldn’t stand to see them laughing and giggling about people (and how they looked )as they entered the store.Also The employee who was doing my moms feet was terrible and didn’t do a good job on her nails. I’m my opinion I wouldn’t come here... Even though there rating is 4.4 you will never predict when they’re make your nails shine or make your nails look like trash.They call themselves Family Nail and Spa oh no they didn’t.... They don’t deserve to be even a store I rather do my nail myself then go to them!

I needed a fill in, pedicure, and an eyebrow wax. I got there tonight around 6pm straight from a long day at work. The male in charge told me it would be a 15 min wait. I waited. 5 people came in after me and all 5 went in ahead of me- three needed nail procedures and 4 got pedicures. Hmm- same stuff I was in there for. I asked the male in charge why were they ahead of me-Was this because they had an appointment and he said no- he said that he would be doing my nails because the others didnt know how to do a fill in?? Made no sense but I waited some more. 6:40 pm came- still waiting. 6:46 comes, another patron comes in for an eyebrow wax- she is immediately helped- hmm another service I was in there for. At this point I decided to leave. I called right away and asked the male in charge why I was still waiting and everyone else was still going ahead of me. He gave me the same spill and how he wanted me to get my fill in first - I reminded him that I also wanted the pedicure and the eyebrow wax, why couldnt I have gotten those things while I waited?? Every nail place I have gone to does it that way. I Told him my time was valuable and I had things to do. He offered me an appointment, I politely declined. He failed to see that as a black person, being asked to wait while everyone else who wasnt black came in after me and was serviced right away -6 in total made me feel or looked. Intended or ignorance - either way I will not be back and will take my business elsewhere.

Wonderful service always, and Ive never had to wait more than a few minutes as a walk-in. There are plenty of nail salons closer to my house but this one is worth the drive! Wouldnt go anywhere else for nails or waxing.

Have used all the salons from usf to wesley chapel areas. I drive 30 min just to come here for their service and hospitality. They are perfectionists and very friendly. I wouldnt go anywhere else... i recommend the lavendar pedicure and the gel powder.

I had a mani/pedi at this salon. Evan did my pedicure and Wei my manicure and it was absolutely the most thorough mani/pedi I have had. They were meticulous and I could tell that they took pride in making sure every step was done with precision. I have been getting my nails done for over 20 years and this was an excellent experience. Absolutely great pedicure.
