I had been looking for a new place to get my Brazilian wax and was so hesitant to trying this place, but after reading the reviews I decided to make an appointment with Carol. I can sincerely say that she did not disappoint! Coming from using hard wax to strips which I wasn’t aware of until the moment of my service, I am very impressed with how painless and thorough she was. She was personable and efficient. I appreciated her friendliness and how comfortable she made me feel. She is definitely a professional and very good at what she does. Lunchbox Wax itself is a very clean and has a few perks I appreciated. They provide wipes and give you privacy to undress. Everything looks modern and they have great hours which are appreciated.

I’ve had a couple of visits with Maggy and she is wonderful! She is very thorough with her work and explanation. I have a low pain tolerance, so the wax definitely hurts, but I’m never in pain after the service. As for the salon, it is super clean. They also take extra precautions due to Covid. The salon has high standards and it shows. I would definitely recommend Lunchbox to anyone in the area.

Did my first Brazilian with Dani and it was amazing! She makes sure you feel comfortable and does a great job while waxing. The service when I first walked in was great! I was greater and attended to immediately. I would definitely come back again!

I’m bummed to write this because I did have a couple good experiences here. But following my appointment today I will not be going back. I went in for an eyebrow touch up and am beyond disappointed. One eyebrow was waxed near the eye way farther up than my original brow shape, and this was only done to the first one. I am hoping it was an honest mistake, but the waxer didn’t even acknowledge what had happened. It wasn’t until I left and saw in a mirror sitting up what she had done. Now I have to wait months for my brow to hopefully grow back to it’s original shape.

Not worth the price. The first time my eyebrows weren’t even, the second time I was content, the third time half of one of my eyebrows was nearly gone. I’ve had better luck waxing my eyebrows at nail salons.

Ive been going to lunchbox for a few years now. The staff is absolutely incredible. Brazilian waxes can be painful and scary but Maggie always makes for its quick and painless. I love this place. I just moved to Tampa and I have tried a few different places for eyebrow waxing and this is by far the best place. They are taking covud seriously and the location is very clean and nice. All of the employees were kind, but Carol did an amazing job on my brows! Carol is a waxing goddess! I walk in with icky eyebrows and walk out looking, and feeling, like a Queen!Today was my first visit since the pandemic and I am.so impressed by the efforts everyone takes to keep guests (and staff) safe.

To start with, I got the Manzilian (basically the bush and boys), Glutes, and (lower) back. This was also my first wax. Given my last (negative) experience being in a somewhat exposed position, I was looking to see if there were any male waxologists in the Tampa area as I was a little uncomfortable with the idea of a woman handling sensitive areas. But since the majority were female, I gave up and just went with it.So to start with, The environment felt very clean and professional, so it didnt feel even remotely sketchy. I had the pleasure of having Terri for my Waxologist, and Ill have to admit, it was definitely one of the unexpected highlights of my week. She was professional, and treated the whole process clinical (which is the mindset Id suggest going in for this). For me what could have been a very awkward and uncomfortable hour was actually very enjoyable (at least as enjoyable as having the hair ripped from your body can be). She was incredibly personable (for instance, you wouldnt have guessed first meeting her, but she knows how to make a few Puerto Rican dishes!) and knowledgeable about skin. We laughed half the time, and I just walked away pleasantly surprised, along with my hairlessness. They were good at reviewing what I should do after, and Terri went a step further to explain good lotions to use for new hair to grow in well.My bros out there, as someone who was very skeptical, its not as bad as you think. Even the actual waxing part wasnt as bad as I was expecting (I would describe it as more jarring and unexpected than painful - still painful - just not as bad as I would have thought) and youll feel fresh after.Thank you for making my experience a good one.

CAROL!!! Clean, professional, skilled! My eyebrows were so out of shape and growing in all the wrong directions. Carol took her time, was professional, and even stopped multiple times to show me with a mirror and use a straight edge to confirm my brows were even. I usually get my eyebrows threaded which is 1/2 the price, but it was so worth it to have a waxer who truly cares about her work and takes her time. If you are having eyebrow problems go to her!

I am normally not one to leave reviews however I MUST give a shout out to my girl Carol! First off, she is the best waxer in town, an artist that truly loves her work. Not to mention how dedicated she is. The salon had to shut down for an air conditioning issue just days before my wedding. I was in PANIC mode since I let my brows grow to get them done right before the big day. Carol assured me everything would be okay, drove 2+ hours and proceeded get me waxed in an over 90 degree salon without hesitation. Not only have a found the best waxologist around, I found a pretty awesome friend too :)

The owner of Lunchbox Wax in Tampa has shown to really care about her staff and clients. As a preventative measure she had our company, Force Shield Fog, come out as a preventative measure and completely disinfect the location with UVC lights and fogging. She wants to ensure the safety of anyone who comes through the doors so they have us coming back on a ongoing basis. As I like to put it, she has us keeping it clean, so they can help keep their clients clean :)

I have had the worst experience with waxing recently at a chain salon that has multiple locations It was horrible they wanted me to come in once a week for my underarms and every 3 for my Brazilian and my legs. I started to get bad bumps and I never had that in the beginning with waxing. The serum and everything I was using from there was making it worse.I went in today for the first time into Lunchbox and I got waxed with Kayla. She was so sweet, caring, and so professional. I will definitely be back. She took the time to ask if I was okay and did not pick at my skin. I would recommend her to anyone. I thought I had to give up waxing with my past experiences but you don’t when you find the right person. I have been waxing for over 2 years and never met anyone like Kayla. (:
