Jamie was such an amazing hairstylist! She was great with communication to make sure I got what I wanted. She took her time to ensure that what I wanted is what was on my hair! I really do recommend her, she is a very sweet person and will help you!

Please do NOT go to this salon at least not for a haircut. I got my hair cut by Jamie and thought everything was fine until I got home and brushed through my hair . I asked for layers but Instead the back of my hair is extremely short and the front is long it is not blended at all and is very noticeable. This salon offer NO REFUNDS so keep that in mind when going. Instead, they want you to go to the same stylist that messed up your hair and give them a chance to “fix” it.

TERRIBLE experience! I had a Keratin treatment done by one of their stylist ( who I was told is the best one in keratin treatment) a week ago and it was anything BUT smoothing treatment. My hair was so dry and fuzzy right after the treatment and I was told after 48 hours and shampooing, it will look smooth and treated. My hair is so damaged now that I have to get a short haircut just to get rid of the severely damaged hair. I was offered a full refund though, however what refund can make up for the effort that I have taken to grow a healthy long hair until it is so damaged by this salon? Please do your research before choosing them.

After having a HORRIBLE experience at another salon the previous day I came here looking for a saviour and I was blessed with Emily and her green hair glory. She saved my butchered hair and and I walked out feeling like a rockstar. I’d be comfortable seeing anyone there but she will forever be my hairstylist for as long as I’m in the area. (Oh and it was bargain 😩🖤). Can’t get over it. 10/10 will always look for reasons to get my hair cut to come here.

I was not happy with my haircut when I left. I went to get a haircut and specifically scheduled to get my hair done by Rachel because of all the good review I read on her. I was not impressed though. She was nice and seemed to care, however she didn’t give me what I asked for at all. I asked for layers and curtain bangs and even showed a picture of what I wanted and was very specific with what I wanted. She kept wanting to go against what I was asking and Kept asking me if I was sure so eventually I gave up and let her finish. This was my first time getting my hair done since moving to Tampa and it was not a good experience. What I asked for was nothing drastic and complicated so I’m pretty disappointed.

I’ve been going to Rachel for over 2 years and she never disappoints! After going from black to brown then black again she’s kept my hair to strong and healthy and always have great information on keeping it healthy! 10/10 would recommend she’s the best :)

This was my first time at Bangz and I absolutely loved it! The staff is inviting and friendly. I went in for a consultation about a week and a half ago and was greater by the polite receptionist and offer free mini donuts while I waited for my stylist. The decor and atmosphere was very boujee. My stylist- Courtney- and I spent about 20 minutes discussing our plan for my hair and pricing (which was crazy reasonable-especially for vivid sand correction).When I returned yesterday the receptionist recognized me (brownie points!) and told me to go right past her to Courtneys chair. Id like to make note that I do not have virgin hair, quite the contrary actually. She managed to pul almost all the color from my last style and then colored it and the results are absolutely gorgeous (pictures included) and Courtney was a blast to spend a couple hours with during processing! Will definitely return for my next color!

Anthony did a GREAT job. I am sooooo happy with the results. My previous stylist (different salon) REALLY screwed up my hair and damaged it. Anthony was so friendly, great conversation, and did an amazing job. He also let me know what he was doing throughout his process to keep me informed, which I thought was very helpful and nice. Since people like me, have no clue what’s actually going on when it comes to hair dye and the process. I will definitely be going back to him. Also- the receptionist/manager was very friendly as well.

Outstanding service and the biggest salon I had ever visited in this town. The products that they used was a high-end one. After the facial, I can see how my skin glowing instantly. I loved it here! Lucky did my hair and it looks amazing! it was my first time I came in for a color correction on a bad red hair coloring I hang gotten done 6 days before. Lucky was able to lift the color without damaging my hair and make it look natural again! I highly recommend going here.

Had Balayage done for the first time and Alexsis their color specialist did a superb job with not only fixing my existing color but keeping my tones subtle like I had requested. It has now been 4 months and my roots have grown into my balayage color in a way that doesn’t actually look awful, which I was told that with balayage, one can get away with not coloring as often as with regular color. Very satisfied with the friendliness and vibe of the whole salon. Thank you Alexsis for being really good at your job!

Recently started seeing Mary! I am a bleach blonde with dark, over processed hair. She got my color just right in half the time of my last hair stylist. I didn’t feel my hair was over treated when I left which is a huge plus.. after my color I trusted her to give me a sleek, blunt short cut that I also loved. Everyone knows us blondes are picky on who does our hair, Mary nailed it!

Getting my hair done is almost always a stressful experience filled with anxiety because I have had several bad experiences in the past. Its to the point where Id rather go months on end without a pair of scissors coming anywhere close to my hair... but this Florida weather has gotten the best of me, and my thick hair needed to go. I had breast length hair, and originally decided that a bob would be the best fit for me. I have had it before and it still allowed me to curl and style my hair. Cody was phenomenal. He did such a beautiful job on my hair. But I still wasnt satisfied. It was by no means his fault. There wasnt a single thing wrong with the hair cut. It was how I felt. So shorter we went and a cute, short pixie later, and I am feeling GREAT. SO yeah, long story short, I highly recommend Bangz Salon and Cody!

I feel awful leaving a bad review because Erin was super sweet and an amazing person however I went in for a color correction wanting to remove the red and lighten my hair but I left with my hair being just as dark as before with tones of orange and it is uneven some places are very dark and some are light and it’s like uneven streaks. I’m only 17 and have never gone to a salon without my mom and I felt too bad to tell the lady how much I hated it considering she was so nice. But it ended up being $240 that my mom had to spend plus the tip of money she doesn’t have and for a service I don’t even like and will have to get fixed when we have the money toThere’s no option of response but I did not reach back because she didn’t offer any way of help and although other salons had messed up she assured me she would be able to get the color to what I wanted and said it would be “easy” however after damaging my hair by color stripping I left with a darker brown then I originally had when I had asked her for light brown, now people think my hair is black. If I knew my hair would have turned out so dark and nothing like what I asked for I would have saved me and my moms money and just went and dyed it black.

Amazing! Esther gave me the best cut ever. I finally had the guts to cut my hair. They squeezed me in last minute and were very accommodating. I showed Esther a picture of what I had in mind and she exceeded every expectation by giving me the best cut ever. I cant wait to go back and get a trim because I am keeping the short hair- as long as Esther does it :)

Mary wright did a excellent job on my hair and was so pleasant. She listened to what I wanted and explained what she planed to do before doing it so that I felt comfortable. I moved to Tampa From Iowa and its hard to find a new stylist that you feel comfortable with and Mary may be my new stylist permanently.

The best salon experience I have had to date. The staff is amazingly attentive and Melissa is a great stylist. She made sure to solicit my input through every step of the coloring and styling process to make sure that I was satisfied. Half way through the process when I decided to change styles, which meant that the highlights that had already put in didnt quite work. Melissa told me to come in the next day and she would add in extra highlights free of charge. That is going above and beyond in order to make your clients happy. A great experience that I would recommend to anyone. And dont forget about the free wine and beer!

I got a smoothing treatment from Lucky and I am in love! I wish I had done this sooner. My hair feels so soft and its so shiny. When I wash it I just put in a few drops of a leave in and let it dry on its own and it almost looks like Ive ran a straightener through my hair. I will definitely be going back I only wish I had done this a long time ago

I went to the salon today to lighten my hair as it had layers of dark red and black in it. I was greeted by Chase. He had told me that lightening it may not be the best decision and he did something called a slice. I needed to get closer to my natural color and it worked very well with a toner on top of it. I have never been to this salon before but had a great experience. They have wine, beer and water at no additional charge. The owner was walking around making sure I was comfortable and she was very kind. The salon was a great atmosphere and plan to return. Chase was absolutely amazing and will be going to him for future visits, including taking my kids for haircuts. Thank you salon Bangz for this awesome experience.

She listened to my complaints about my hair (lots) and also asked me about my lifestyle (how much time I had to spend on my hair, etc.) and from there she gave me a great cut. Prices are reasonable. Made suggestions but no one was pushy. I will go again. Unpretentious-affordable and really good service. I enjoyed my visit very much.
