I’ve had nothing but great experiences going here. I’m a frequent visitor, I try to aim for at least once a month. It’s clean the staff is professional and everyone is nice. Uniqicia is an massage therapist and I recommend her she truly has healing hands and does her job with her best. Zara is great too.

Received a relaxing and wonderful facial with some extras. Loved it! I havent had a facial in so long and the difference in my skin from entering and leaving the place was amazing. Lauren was very gentle and thorough with the steps and process before we started to see what was best for my skin. Amazing experience. Will be coming back.

A little late in sharing but I had a wonderful experience as a new client at Essentials Massage & Facial Spa. I saw Lisa a month ago. She was friendly and personable. I had the microdermabrasion facial with a detox cleanser. It was so relaxing and Beneficial for my skin. My skin was breaking out consistently for a little over a month and I believe it was from the stress ofMy move, new job and environment. My skin immediately felt clean, less irritated and blemish free within a few days. It was Glowing! Minor peeling of dead skin post-facial (which is expected) but I couldn’t believe how clear it looked and how nice my makeup would apply. I will definitely be back :-) Thanks!

I came to the Essentials Spa of Westchase looking for help improving my skin issues, and thats what I got over the past three months. Ive seen Lauren once a month so far for facials, and Ive seen an improvement with my skin. Shes really helped to target my problem areas and focuses on what needs attention when I come in. Lauren takes her time with you, explains everything shes doing and why, and makes sure her recommendations will work with your budget. The spa itself has affordable prices, a nice atmosphere, and the staff is helpful.

Really wanted to give this a good review because the message was great - I just don’t appreciate getting shorted. Took me back at 6:40 and I was out the door by 7:20. When I asked the front desk why it was so short she claimed consultation time. We literally talked for less than a minute the entire time I was there. Once again, the message was great! Just don’t sell it as a 1 hour message.

I got a Groupon. I was excited to book the appointment so I call and Alissa answers.. first of all not friendly at all. I tell her I want to book an appointment she asking me questions and then Finally asks me for my debit card info. I told her I actually don’t have it I had to order I new one and I haven’t gotten the replacement in the mail yet. Since I ALREADY paid for the massage on Groupon I expected she could make an exception or maybe get my Groupon voucher but nope. Said she wouldn’t make the appointment. I then told her to call the owner and let her know the situation, Jen the owner apparently told her I could give them the card info or she can refund me the Groupon. I told Alissa I would be writing a review about this and she laughed. I’ll take my money back! Just terrible customer service.Update: called back because the girl said Jen would process my refund. I was telling her how I felt, JEN was no help, she would not let me talk, yelling and just rude. At this point It’s not even about the card it’s about there nasty attitude!I will be telling everyone I know and everyone I don’t know to never come to this place.

I was just in for a massage and facial. I would like to say that this was probably the most aggressive massage I had ever had in my life & I have had MANY.. I have bruising all up and around my neck and shoulders... I asked the therapist to release some pressure and she suggested I breathe it out... again never have I ever experienced this kind of bruising even my last deep tissue. I am also about 110 pounds so that much pressure was entirely to much.She also stated at the end (STOP tensing up! how can you relax if youre tensing up?????) GIRL - YOU ARE HURTING ME for the 100th time!!! Also, she used so much lotion.. I nearly drowned in it, it was kinda gross.Anyways, I also had a facial and that was nice. No complaints there as it was my first one.

I came into Essentials Massage with horrible sciatica pain and Marja was able to work it out of my hip, leg, and foot. I plan to return each month for a tune up! The building is beautiful, smells amazing, and very clean. The receptionist is charming and resourceful. She makes it easy to get your appointment set up. I have been going to Lauren for several years for my facials. She is very knowledgeable in her field, makes recommendations to you based on what she thinks will help your skin and really takes her time and and is gentle with extractions and applying products to your skin. She is also very kind and truly makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. I highly recommend her and you will not be disappointed. She also has a beautifully decorated facial room. I can not say enough great things about her service.

Best massage Ive ever had. This is my go to place! I try to use Mayra or Zara when I book because they really know the body. When they arent available, Ill go to anyone, havent had a bad experience. The staff and every single masseuse Ive had are professional and really want you to leave the place feeling good.

I left this place in tears very upset. My face was very oily it felt worse. The lady was nice but kept trying to up sale me the WHOLE time she was working on me. I gave in so she can leave me alone so I can relax. But when she was done and I looked at my face. It felt and look bad $100 for what????? I was told if I use mirowhatever it will get take away drak spots etc...nope not at all. I still had blackheads and a bunch of Whiteheads on my face. I couldve done better at home. I will never pay some to talk over me and do nothing for $100 again. Im very disappointed and sad this ruined my day........

I purchased a couples massage and my boyfriend and I were given excellent massages from Daniel and Keysha (I could be mispelling their names or be botching them a bit...). I often get massages at a different provider nearer to my house, and though I love that offices work, I felt even more relaxed during and after my treatment here. I liked how often both therapists checked in to see if we wanted more/less pressure in a given area, etc.I bought my visit on Groupon, but it looked like their prices were very reasonable.My boyfriend and I highly recommend them!

I’ve going here for massages and facials over six months now. All my experiences have been great and I absolutely love Lauren. Her facials are amazing! However I was just there on Tuesday and treated my fiancé for his birthday with a couples massage and a facial for him. Gina did my massage for the second time and she was great. However, it was my fiancé’s first time and he had Grace and he was dissatisfied with his massage. He said she barely massaged him and when she was massaging his neck her nails would dig in his skin. I was telling him how Gina was massaging me and he was like, Grace barely massaged him. And my friend recently got a massage from Grace, she was dissatisfied as well. My fiancé of course enjoyed his facial with Lauren. Overall I’d recommend this place however, get your facial from Lauren forsure and massage with Gina.

I had a massage done by Marya and it was by far the best massage I have ever received. I have a lot of knots in my back making massages very uncomfortable. Marya was able to working on my back in such a way that I was not uncomfortable at all. It was the first time I actually enjoyed a massage. I wish I lived in Tampa and could have go to her regularly. She came highly recommended by someone local.

The massage was nice. The couples massage was awesome. Hit all points on my body. Beautiful relaxing environment. The only thing I didnt like was, disrobing and getting dressed again cuts into the 60 min massage. Seems like I only get about a 45 min massage. Other than that, it was great.

Amanda is the greatest. Because of COVID-19 I had a special request for my Relaxation massage today. As a 69 year old woman with diabetes, I merely wanted to exclude face up and hands. The original therapist informed me that I would have to upgrade to a Therapeutic massage for $5 more. She was not the least bit compassionate or understanding of my fears. Its not the money, its the principle that I just wanted a Relaxation Massage with minimal exposure to possible infection. COVID-19, for me has caused a lot of stress resulting in Neck, Back and Shoulder pain. I just wanted to relieve some tension. Amanda was the complete opposite from the original therapist and has amazing hands. Ive been going to the Westchase location since its opening. The BEST experience Ive ever had. Highly recommend Amanda **********!!!!!!!!!!

My husband and I did the Groupons special couples massage with Lindsey and Amanda. They were absolutely great! My husband got Lindsey and did the upgrade to deep tissue for an additional $10 charge, not bad at all! We also got a nice foot scrub. The atmosphere was relaxing and cozy! I purchased a European Facial with Neck and Shoulder Massage, Pineapple Hand Exfoliation, and Aromatherapy deal on Groupon. I was late for the appointment because I was in the plaza driving around for several minutes trying to find it. I called and I was given better directions to locate it by the receptionist. I arrived at about 7:03, filled out the intake form, and was taken back around 7:07. The therapist came back in the room after undressing at about 7:10. She was very pleasant and nice. However, I was not given the neck and shoulder massage, and at the end I was given a very dirty mirror to take a look at my skin after the service. When I sat up on the table to get dressed, it was 7:49. I completely understand that I ran late, but to skip part of the service was super disappointing. I would have rather been given the choice between the hand treatment and neck/shoulder treatment instead of just omitting one completely with no heads up. I didnt expect her to extend the time to fit every thing in, I just would have liked to be offered a choice or just been informed that because of running late, shed have to cut into my time and she would not be doing that part. Regardless, ending a service 11 minutes early is just poor business. And as far as the facial itself, I left with scrub/grainy material all over my face/eyelids and I have no idea why she did not remove it properly. It felt like I had sand on my face. Though her and the receptionist were helpful and very nice, the service itself was poor and I dont plan on returning. I am glad I used an inexpensive Groupon and that I didnt pay full price.

I’ve been coming here for over a year now. I give Essentials of Westchase 3 stars for these reasons. Starting with the good: the price is excellent for the quality of treatment that you receive. If I were rating on that alone, I would give 5 stars.But for the not-so-good: I have been here many times, and I don’t think I’ve ever received a full 50 minute massage. Normally I am greeted exactly on the hour, I am left a few minutes to undress, and then the massage usually starts 5 to 10 minutes past the hour. But one thing is for certain- it always ends at 50 minutes past the hour. So what is advertised as a 1 hour massage, while explained to be 50 minutes to allow consultation and dressing, always ends up between 35 and 40 minutes.I will continue to come here because I think for the price and quality, 40 minutes is still a great deal. But don’t expect 60, or even 50 minutes.I would recommend that the business revises how it advertises for treatment length because simply put, it is false advertising.

Great experience. The massage was very well priced, and the massage therapist did an excellent job so I made sure to take care of her. Every Tuesday massages are only $25, so I will absolutely be returning. The only down side was that it was kind of hard to find because it wasnt where all the main businesses are, so I had to call to make sure I found it.
