I’ve been coming to this place for years. Alicia is my favorite beautician. Unfortunately, the first time I called to reschedule due to an emergency situation, they refused to give me a break and said they will charge me 50% of the total price of services scheduled because I called less than 24 hours ahead. I’m not sure what part of emergency they didn’t understand, but today will be my last appointment here. To the management: you cannot treat your loyal customers like this!

Amazing, gets every last hair and is so comforting the whole time!

First time going to this place and I was highly impressed! The owner and staff made sure to make me feel very comfortable. I got the Brazilian Sugaring done and it was fantastic. Sugaring reduces ingrown hairs, only has to be done about every month, and leads to less hair growth in just a few sessions. I will never go back to shaving again.

BEWARE....they will take your credit card information and charge hundreds of dollars when they want! I cancelled my appt. a week in advance and they tried to say I did not and took card information that I used from a previous service to fraudelanty charge me! Horrible customer service! Refused to rectify the problem! This is not the way to run a business. They must be doing bad to resort to this!

My first time going was in August and it was also my first time getting a sugar wax in general, I had heard good things and its definitely true, Mirna is so nice and talked my through what it would be like and it was not as bad as I thought especially for the first time!, I just went for my second time a few days ago and I am so smooth and the pain gets tolerable the more you go and get comfortable. I have gotten sugaring Brazilians done for almost two years. I am new here, so I decided to try this place. I had Alicia, and she was very nice. But, if 30 minutes is blocked out for my Brazilian, I expect it to take that long. It took 5 minutes. She used the same piece of sugar the whole time, causing me discomfort. After she was finished, she did not go back and tweeze any missed hairs. She also did not give me a mirror so that I could see how it looked. It hasn’t even been two weeks, and I already have growth back. When I got off of the table, I was pretty stiff. I have never been stiff, or felt discomfort, even when I was new to this. I’m very hesitant to give a poor review, but I felt it’s necessary. I can’t justify paying $56 plus tip, for 5 minutes.

I’ve been going to this place for 3 years now and they are literally amazing! I trust every single one of them with my entire face! Angelica and Alicia are for me the best of the best!! I was hesitant to get my lashes lifted but once I got them done there my lashes haven’t looked better! I also get my eyebrows and lip wax and they always look stunning!! If you are like me that you don’t trust just anyone with your face, then I highly recommend going to them! If you are debating on trying sugaring, go! This is the place to do it. I was a regular waxer at a chain and after having a sugar wax, I will never go back to the old way. It was less painful and I don’t suffer from as many ingrown hairs. Definitely worth it!

This was my first experience with sugaring, and Im already a huge fan! Ive never had waxing or anything done before, and was looking for an alternative to shaving when I came across sugaring and the website for Angelica Beauty and Waxing. I booked an appointment with Mirna (who is absolutely amazing, 10/10 would recommend having her do your sugaring if you decide to go!) and it was a great experience. The sugaring was honestly not as painful as I had anticipated, which was a pleasant surprise. Staff were super friendly, the salon is very well maintained, and the place overall has a nice atmosphere. I will definitely be going back in the future!

I have been a loyal customer to Angelica Beauty and Waxing for well over 2 years. The team and staff have always been a pleasure to work with and I have always been more than pleased with their services. However I was concerned about my last four visits and the current health of my lashes.I went to two other lash boutiques for consultations. They confirmed – my worst thought – my eyelashes are burnt and the additional application of the extensions had only damaged them further. One suggested it could have also been a very poor lash lift. Due to the health of my lashes the 3rd boutique even refused the additional revenue on full lash extensions as they stated it wasnt fair to do with the lashes in their current condition.I emailed Angelica extremely politely even offering to write a great review AND continuing to be a loyal customer if they could please just refund me for the services. I paid for a lash lift of $80 end of May, $140 for a full set of extensions end of June and $100 for two fills all within 45 days as they continued to fall off due to the health of the lashes.Angelica asked for me to come in so they could see for themselves and take pictures. Although this was a hassle I understood and did so. After waiting over a week and following up via email this is what I am told:Good morning Vanessa,Thanks for coming back last week for the pictures to be taken. After seeing those pictures that Alicia took at the spa, I don’t see damage on the lashes. That is how lashes look in between lash lift treatments, some of them look more curled than others, some are straight and some are in the middle of the growth phase. They will look uneven until you shed all the lashes that had the lift treatment before. Unfortunately no refund will be made from services done in the past. We followed all standard procedures, all our Estheticians have years of experience, are certified and trained by the state of Florida and lash vendors.Best regards,Angelica MonroySpa OwnerI am sorry. But I completely disagree. Especially after another boutique wouldnt even take my business. This could have been resolved with even half the refund. There are so many great things that I can say can say about Angelica and all the women who work with her. The Salon is spotless and clean and everyone is so nice and professional. They are great for scheduling and you can call and make an appointment or schedule online. The products they use are fantastic and I always look forward to going there. I started going to Angelica almost 3 years ago for waxing and hands down they are the best for waxing. It has been really great to watch her business grow and grow every year. The facials are fantastic and Angelica is meticulous, I am actually shocked to see a negative review for her facials. I feel like I have a brand new face after one! I also get the lash extensions and I must say, and I swear I am not exaggerating, I get stopped on a regular basis and complimented on my beautiful lashes. About a month ago, I was at the makeup counter at Barneys on Rodeo Drive in LA and the salesperson could not believe that they were extensions, so much that he had sales people from the other counters come over and look at them. Angelica has built her business with great pride and works hard to pay attention to the details. I had my first wax ever here recently and I loved it! I had Angelica and she was extremely nice and answered any and all questions I had prior to waxing. Originally I wanted to try sugaring because I had done the research and thought that would be the better option for me, but as I had never had any type of wax done she convinced me to try a little bit of soft wax as well. I am so glad she did! I ended up using only soft wax the rest of the appointment and left feeling no pain and extremely satisfied with my results. The receptionist was also very nice upon arrival and overall I am 100% happy. I definitely recommend this salon for all your waxing needs

For the past 3 years Angelica Beauty and Wax is my go-to place when wanting to spoil myself. Angelica and her staff are always attentive and professional.  I expressed my concerns to Angelica about my fine lines, wrinkles and different tones in my face. She suggested a Micro needling treatment. After a couple of days, my skin looked radiant and fresh with definily less visible wrinkles or fine line, total change! Nice people with good customer service but will not be back. She trimmed my brows down to barely nothing where I had nice feathery brows on the inside. The hairs look so strange and uneven she trimmed basically down to the skin. Ruined my brows when I just wanted to up the lines.

Best place Ive ever been to get my lashes tinted, and at a low price

I have been getting lash extensions by Angelica for a little less then a year and I cannot tell you how amazing they are! She is very professional and courteous, and her studio is impeccably clean. She has strong attention to detail and takes her time during each service. She is very thorough applying each lash individually and the lashes look thick, full and clump free. The butterfly lash extensions she uses last up to 3-4 weeks and look very natural. I also get all my waxing and facials at Angelicas as well. Loved my lashes they stayed on for almost 2 months!! I didnt get them redone in between because I was out of the country. I will be back customer service was great, very clean office. i dont remember my techs name but she was great she had a great personality and I ended up falling asleep on the table.

My daughter actually referred me to Angelica for a facial a few years ago and since then Ive never had a facial done anywhere else. She is genuine and professional, I can always trust Angelica and her staff to address any concerns I may have for my skin. Over time I have experienced the classic and anti-aging facial, different fruit enzyme peels, and the microdermabrasion. The facials are so relaxing I always fall asleep and the smell of the organic Eminence creams and masks are incredible! If ever in need or just want to treat yourself to a facial, I HIGHLY recommend them.

I started going to Angelica as a last hope for my skin during pregnancy. I had been seeing a dermatologist but the prescription topical medications werent helping my breakouts and were drying my skin out horribly. Once I gave Angelica a try.... I noticed a difference immediately!!! My skin has cleared up completely and has never looked better! I am no longer going to the dermatologist or putting unnecessary chemicals on my skin. All of Angelicas facials and skin treatments are natural and organic and worked better than anything else Ive tried. As well as being very effective, her facials are extremely relaxing and luxurious! I have had facials at many spas around the country and Angelica rates #1 for me! She is so knowledgeable and professional and is definately the best I have found!

I have been a few times to see Alicia the eye lash tech. She is very sweet, but not very experienced. Does not understand the concept of layering lengths or lash by lash extensions. Repeatedly attached 2 lashes to one after I instructed her not to the first time. Made my lashes 3 lengths shorter than they were when I originally went in causing them to twist together and essentially fall out in clumps. I will not be returning nor recommend her to any one else.

I have been to Angelicas several times for waxing. Every time I have seen Salwa. I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is very thorough and professional and does a wonderful job. Not a good experience. My sugaring experience was less than ideal. The hairs broke off instead of being pulled from the root. Then she used a twizzer for about 15 mins. I dont thinking twining is as sanitary as sugaring. After the young lady finished there were so many hairs left. When I brought it to her attention she used the twizzer. I want someone who is more experienced and more professional.

Was visiting from out of town but defenitely would come back again when in town. Love the staff and service.
