I saw some really negative reviews about this place but was very impressed. The prices were a lot cheaper than any other place Ive been. The food wasnt 5 star but thats what I expect at a play place. That being said the food was good. The games were 99% working. I spent a little over $200 for 2½ hours unlimited everything. That was 4 people and includes the food. overall great experience for my 2 sons.
We celebrated my daughters birthday here. The prices are competitive compared to other places in the area. The staff is really nice and friendly. Some of the parents mentioned that the bar tender was awesome! Its a great place for the kids and the parents enjoyed the food and the bar. They also have different packages available. My host was Mikaela and she was very attentive as well. Great experience! My daughter walked out of there and thanked me for everything we did that day, detail by detail. Thank you!
I booked my daughter’s 1-year-old birthday party here. It was the perfect spot to keep all 15 plus kids entertained. They are in the process of moving and that was fine. I received a call informing me that the sky rope obstacle and bowling will not be available. I was totally okay with that too. The General manager made up for it gave me the basic birthday package price ( booked the eliminate 2 hour package) and we were allowed to stay in the room all night. So typically they do the pizza and cake first. We asked if we can do it backward due to so many kids and they’re ready to play. They said that was fine (this was at 5) gave to pizza and drink order to the party host. The General Manager took a payment over $300 and gave me the playing cards. We all had an understanding... Kids are playing having a great time but its past 8 pm still no drinks or pizza. Parents were upset that they had to buy their kids drinks and food. I was lost and embarrassed because our party host told me he put the order in. The host didnt do 1 thing for my party. I brought this up to the manager and they just gave me I holding the Deposit back and said sorry. They went on and asked me how come I didnt say something earlier and you did the cake first thats not how we do it. Excuse me but I asked if it was an option to do it backward and I was told yes. I wasnt in the room because I have 4 kids playing having a great time. Needless to say, they didnt care because they gave me back my deposit. I asked to speak with another manager and the General Manager said she was the only one you can talk to. I paid my hard earned money for the experience they said they would provide. Not even a pitcher of water was brought absolutely nothing was hosted. Horrible service, I should have went to Chuck E. Cheese or Main Event. The ball was dropped and I would never want friends/family paying for food when they were promised pizza with RSVP to the party.
My husband and I acted like kids today and went and played video games, and ended up getting silly little toys with our tickets at the end. Definitely a fun place to go. Obviously youre going to spend a lot of money. But worth it if you want to just have a fun time and feel like a kid again or if you actually have kids great place to take them. The only thing I would say is understandably the food is not all that great theyre nachos I wouldnt order again but yummy cheese sticks. Definitely would go again when we have money we could spare
I loved PKs! Today was my, my 4 year old nephew, and 2 other adults first time. My nephew is tall (over 48) so he was able to do most of the attractions which is what we went for. The ninja course was tons of fun but be prepared for some bruises! We got the unlimited attraction pass for 2 hours ($35) and loved every minute. I was sore leaving the place with all the activities .
The worse place in Tampa. Everything is dirty and doesn’t work properly. Also all games are setup to take out your points as quick possible. I understood that is a business but At least have the opportunity to enjoy the games.my daughter of 6 years old was so frustrating and she no wanna going back.
I would go to PKs over D&B anyday. Yes its a lil smaller, but the service with other attractions they have are way better! Theres laser tag, bowling, rock climbing, obstacle course and mini golf as well as games. The food was good and fair priced (as well as the drinks). I will definitely go again.
We LOVE PK! Had my sisters birthday party here and also my oldest son. Young friendly staff. Not bad pizza and snacks etc. The games are good like any other place. I love the toddler zone..we do miss the bumper cars but my toddlers enjoy laser tag and just being able to run free! Definitely looking to have my 3 year Olds party here!
Great place to take the family for a night of fun. Theres games, putt-putt golfing, rock wall climbing, laser tag, bounce houses and a rope course, I mean what more could you ask for in one place. There food and drinks available to purchase as well.
Loved this place!! Kids had a great time and so did we adults. Full bar and food was amazing. Not to mention its real affordable. Myself, wife and three kids spent just $100 and was there at least 4 hours. $80 would honestly be plenty including food and youll enjoy it all. Lots to do here. Well be back for sure.
Not many games. Staff was super helpful though. Drinks are great.
Great for kids im sure but less so for adults i really like arcade games but the game choices were not the best mostly ticket gambling games but the workers were super nice and laser tag looked fun!
I dont know if we just went at a bad time, but while on vacation with a couple of friends, we decided to stop in on a Thursday night around 7. I saw good ratings and stellar reviews, and expected a fun night out. Experienced just the opposite. All for a nominal price of 87 dollars, my friends and I got to partake in no laser tag, no rock climbing, no bowling, and no video games. We did get to play mini golf, that was it. Practically nothing was operational. We left PK Playzone incredibly disappointed, and our best experience there was probably signing the waiver at the entrance. Its a shame I have to give even 1 star, because it is wholly unworthy of even that.
Nice place. With a acceptable prices and the best pizza in the area. Party saloon. Laser tag room, bowling and a mini golf. Various electronics games. And a gift shop for the rewards. Update (01/25/2020) we celebrate my little son birthday at this marvelous place. Once again everything was great. Jose our party assistant was SUPERB !!! He was all the time at every detail. This our preferred place to have fun with the family.
Place has gone downhill. For the price you are paying to play the games and the options they DONT have in the store for children to choose toys from with their tickets is terrible.
Love it. So much to do. So fun a variety of things to do. Staff are amazing.
Awesome Place for the Family..Our number one spot when we do come to Florida
Place is great for kids ages 6 to 12. My 4 y.o. was not happy that he couldnt play much.Cost is reasonable based on the amount of things you can do for $35. My bigger kids had a blast and we stayed for 3 hours.Parents there is a full liquor bar for you to enjoy.
I have been here once before with my family we lived in tarpon then, That experience was great I dont know what happened.I took my family there yesterday it was a Sunday.Maybe bad luck. They should NOT call it a Grill their food tasted like it was fresh out the freezer.. They had other things the last time that they didnt have now.. Probably should bring in fresher food. Money wasted if not Js..The games didnt want to act right. Most of the workers were grumpy. Not a family place great for teens ... Maybe.
Total free for all. Definitely understaffed. Mini Bowling lanes dont work. Paid for the toddler bounce house area only to see kids just run in who were well over over 5 ft tall knocking over actual toddler. Took 15 minutes in a line to get the kids drinks. The place wasnt even that busy. Overall bad experience.
This is more for like kids thats bout 6yrs and up ots more games then anything in here. They have good adult dranks and food is good
Its was really empty, there was no one to play laser tag with, and the prizes was way to expansive.
Had birthday party here Sunday for my 8 year old son & was very disappointed in the place paid close $300 & all it did was pay for a room to sit in for 90 mins. lol nothing organized it was a mess...very disappointed and will not be going back we had better time at chuckie cheese than here way to expensive.& the kids only get a 5$ playcard and thats only like 2 maybe 3 games in this place....where chuckie cheese u get a 20$ card for hour of play time. ...like I said not worth it...
We thought this place was Awesome but expensive. On their web site they claim Ridiculously Low Prices. We didnt think so. Like a regular claw game was $2 per game when it should of been no more then a $1. The Mini golf was well decorated. The ninja courses and lazer tag were around $8 per round, per person. $100 went way to fast.
These place need to be removed from Google, its closed. Had paper on windows and is not in business at least not at the address advertised.
Went to a birthday party. It felt too warm inside! The bowling game was not working properly. Kids had alot of fun on the obstacle course.
Its not perfect, but its on its way to perfection! This place has it all - Arcades, rock climbing, laser tag, mini bowling, bumper cars, restaurant and full bar. Its an adult and kid fun zone! This is by far the cleanest and nicest arcade and entertainment center I have been to in Tampa. The hours are awesome and the food was amazing not your typical mediocre all Frozen all fried food you find at other similar places.I guess my only constructive criticism feedback would be to possibly have more of a manager presence. The second time we visited the entire mini bowling section was down and no one was around to explain why there was also some trash and items left behind that looked sloppy and not maintenanced, the restaurant closed early and we spent $60 and still only had enough tickets to buy $2 worth of candy I think there is a gap that needs to be worked in the gift shop area.Other than that it is a must-visit for sure!
Janky put put but fun laser tag. Ticket toys are trash.
We drove 45 minutes to find the new location closed due to a county violation working without a permit … I was hoping to have a fun birthday weekend for my daughter’s six birthday & now I’m so disappointed ☹️
Nice place the kids loved it.very clean .good food and bar
Very bright and colorful place! The laser tag was my favorite part. And the employees are really helpful and fun I hope I come back real soon!
Not as big as I imagined. Still a great time for smaller kids. They replied they are the largest but urban air new tampa head way more for kids over 10.
Great variety of activities, games and things to do. I look forward to visiting again!
Seemed kind of junky. The ropes course thing seemed legit, took my son to the mini golf and didnt feel it was worth it.
Play zone is great, Very family oriented but the food is definitely on the warm side it was almost cold when we received it. And it was almost 11 minutes before we got it. No reason the food should have been almost cold and no reason 2 small drinks should have coated 2.50 each. Got kids chicken tenders and fries and chili cheese fries and two drinks that where the size of McDonalds kids drinks for almost $25. That is expensive and to get pretty much cold food. Not worth it. But the arcade area is family fun definitely will go back with my kids but will not eat their again. Price not worth quality of food.
Super fun place to go with your kids and very friendly staff and for a Friday night was not busy at all!
Its terrible, I wouldnt recommend. Their not specific on what you are purchasing. Reading it seems to be one thing but its not what it seems, the manager partially refunded me which was fine because we did do some things. I went to the desk about 3-4 times I went back 5 minutes after my purchase and asked for something different because although they say adults can get on rides its really not appropriate unless assisting a child in my opinion. I was told no refunds so they gave me 60 bucks worth of game room time but I did not want to play games. The manager isnt very nice but she did end up refunding me a portion of money. Honestly their service is bad and if you can afford to do something else do it and believe me for what they charge you can go somewhere else and have more fun. You can be around people that are courteous and have manners.Trust me stay away.
Worst experience ever!!!!! Gave one star cause I’m not able to post only zero stars.... paid $300 for a small birthday party was rushed through laser tag and was refused other courses.. spoke to the manager and he brushed my family off... I do not recommend this place to anyone!!!!!
Very nice place for all ages. Good food good drinks and not too crowded
I worked here for not too long and Im glad I didnt. Communication in this job was terrible. The manager never contacted me directly for anything. Favoritism was a huge thing I noticed from the short time I worked there. Employees that had terrible work ethic and attitude were fine doing the bare minimum while others that truly cared about their position and worked hard never satisfied the manager enough. Manager would always blame workers for issues they either couldnt control or were her own. There was no trust in the employees and I felt like a child working there. They took phones away because of mistakes from the employees that were favored, however only enforced it on everyone else. Instead of treating everyone as if theyre children, why dont you just get rid of those that cant do their job properly and stay on their phones? This is a work environment with ADULTS, not elementary school. I didnt mind putting my phone away, but the idea was childish. They were also really suspicious with the tips at times, either losing them or not having any. The general manager knew less over how parties worked than the party manager, however, shouldnt she be aware of every position and aspect of the job? Back to the favoritism part, the same favorites would come in late and Id have to wait over 30 minutes most times for them to fill in for me at front desk. And when I had told the manager that I had to go and that I was going to leave at my scheduled time she then laughed and said I couldnt leave and to just wait for her. They called me out for always wanting to leave early, however they never said anything to the same girl who would come in late each time. It wasnt just a one-time thing, it was a regular. They could have fixed this issue by taking care of the front until she got there and letting me leave. I shouldnt be responsible for her being late each time. They seemed to care more about me wanting to leave on time than her being late because of the, as I said, favoritism. The job itself was just super funky and I wouldnt recommend working here. Some employees would also be under the influence sometimes or do inappropriate things at work. (not sure if they still work there). I rarely got to meet the owners, however they seemed nice. I think the major issue is honestly management. Long story short, if you decide to work here good luck. And if you decide to visit as a customer, the 2 hr unlimited is the best tbh unless youre not staying for long, because I promise you that you might spend more than you planned. (only $30) But honestly, just go to like Qzar (if you want to play laser tag) or Dave & Busters lol.
Place was clean No CDC guidelines please take your mask and hand sanitizer with you employees lack personality very bad attitude the girl who worked by the claming wall and mini golf it seems like she didnt want to be there when working with kids you need a better attitude and rest of employees same .
Not sure what other people see but honestly by far the best place ive been too in a while great customer service and friendly staff Will be back again !
Great alternative to Dave n Busters. But some of the machines didnt work. Do recommend going though. Great experience.
Good fun service could have been better
We played indoor mini golf, mini bowling, and the big assortment of arcade games and had a blast! The staff was also very helpful and friendly. But was bummed about no more bumper cars.
Nephew has a blast! Food could use some help but overall a good time.
Drove an hour for the place to be closed even though its been reading open for weeks. Learn how to manage your business please.
Cool place to have all kinds of different fun with your kids. I just can’t stand the snotty and unruly teenagers that are present - that run around crazy like they don’t have any sense and the staff do nothing about it.
Great place to let the kids have fun. Needs a bit more organization. Cheesesticks are good.
I really enjoyed myself and my kids also had an awesome time. Ages 7 & 2 the toddler zone was great and lazer tag was so much fun. The only down fall was the prizes and over all food options.
Arcade games are excessively priced. Lowest arcade price $1.. and goes up from there. Clean environment, tons of games. But wont get much for your dollar. If youre coming here, laser tag, mini golf or obstacle course only would be my suggestion. Establishment doesnt have an unlimited option. Arcades are just too much.
Only reason I put one star is because I’m not able to post no (0) stars. I had a birthday party for my step son and we had the worst experience ever. A small party of 16 ppl where I paid $300 and the party attendant told us she would accompany us to our different play packages that we paid for. Upon us continuously searching and being told she is on her way to place us into laser tag, an hour ltr she told us that they were closing in less than 45 min ltr. So we never utilized the ninja course, rock climb and our cards didn’t work for bowling. Spoke to the manager and pretty much was told so what!!!! Worse experience ever I would never recommend this place to anyone......
Steve is the best bartender ever this man took a picture of my family this man went above and beyond
The toddler section could have been better. Both of the bounce slides were deflating and the area could gave been alot cleaner.
I can only review the arcade/prize area since thats all I experienced this time. The young man who was working the counter was friendly, attentive and helped me out when one of the games didnt work after I swiped my card. I found the arcade here to be a bit lackluster. Pricing on game play was about the same as other arcades, that was fine. I just didnt find a lot of games that I enjoyed playing and a few of the games werent working. The prize center is not great and everything in it is overpriced. 900 tickets for a very small, unlicensed plush. Its cute, but you definitely get more bang for your buck at D&B and Main Event. Im giving it 3 stars just because the staff was good and it probably is better for younger kids, just wasnt for me.
Really not well Put together. Its cool with all the stuff but more for older kids for sure
Fun place, lots of games price was good. Laser tag was fun .lot of things to were the kids out. They even had a play area for small children. Staff was very good!
I went there on vacation and I would have to say it was really really fun! But the downside was the prizes, like you have to earn fifty tickets just to get some cheaply made plastic skate board and some random dirty candy in a box. Rule 3 had better prizes but the place was fun and thrilling most of the time.
I loved the variety of games. The facility is very large and gives patrons plenty of space to play freely without interference due to social distancing. I also saw an employee routinely walking around cleaning the machines. Only drawback- indoor bowling! Dont waste your money. The balls get stuck and by the time an employee retrieves them your game times out and there are no refunds.
Great place with lots of games and attractions but very pricey. I spent 30 minutes in there and wasted $60 in games. Originally I called before going and was told each game is a dollar on average. That was a lie on average each game was $2 non ticket winning games at most . I went with 4 kids And all they did was complain considering the fact my kids are aware of the amount of money Im spending and I didnt complain about it . I spend $40 at chucky cheese and get 2 hours of game play with a pizza . Great place but considering lowering your prices.
Most the attractions were closed. Games cost around 4-6 tickets.
Games are beat up, prizes are the absolute worst amd looks like its about to go out of business Amy day.
Went here with my toddler and 9 year old. He enjoyed the attractions the little one enjoyed running around. The manager stuck out she went above expectations for me every time she walked past us she put money on a game for my little monster. I didnt try the food it looked good tho. I didnt drink but I liked the fact there was that option. The floor was sticky but it looked clean in the establishment. Then when I went to get a prize I was told I couldnt because it exceed my tickets. I asked to buy it she then advised me I could not. Thankfully the nice manager bent the rules in my little ones favor. In my opinion money is money I think their lagging there and should change that policy. Anyways other than that we had an awesome experience.
Nice place, unfortunately don’t have any hand sanitizer.
We had fun! great for the family. Some of the games didnt work but the kids had a blast!
My son loves the bounce house
It was okay! Looked way more fun on the pictures before actually getting there. Pluses: Bar, food, place for parties, great for all ages. Better for kids that are 11 and under
Fun place, food is subbpar..
PK PlayZone & Grill has a huge selection of Arcade games, as well as pool tables, air hockey table so and bowling. Now they of course also have mini golf and laser tag. Even a climbing rig. Now the prices of the games are kind of high in my opinion and they made it pretty difficult to earn tickets. The good prizes are super expensive. The grill has some food options but it was all microwave food. So it was kind of disappointing. Overall, it was clean and everything looked to be maintained and functional.
Terrible experience. Will not go there again.
Observing covid19 cleaning and protocol. Great job!
This place is great so much to do !
Great place for a fun family night out.
The kids loved this place ... Much more to do then the traditional arcade places and they have age appropriate play areas from toddlers all the way up to adults... definitely worth the drive to Tampa for a new place to go with the kiddos.
Great for children parties or events!! The center & games is set up like a kiddie Dave & busters style.
We went to PKs today with our social group of special needs adults. Annette and the girl at the front counter were so wonderful and patient with all of our questions when we were trying to decide what we wanted to do. Throughout PKs, we continued to find happy and extremely helpful employees. The young man taking our food orders was especially kind. The girl operating the laser tag said she wasnt sure if the loud music would affect our group, so she took the initiative to turn the music down. I was blown away at her proactive thinking! It was a rainy Saturday, so PKs was pretty busy. Regardless of the crowd, the staff stayed happy and helpful. Such a great experience, our group will definitely be back! Thanks for a great day.
Fun place overall. Not experienced the putt-putt or courses, but the games vary. Like in most arcades, some machines dont always work that great. They are good about refunding lost credits though.Tuesday and Wednesday half price games are a steal. The little lady and I were bored and went up there. Didnt take us long to beat the shooters and still have the majority of our credits left over for another visit. Havent tried their bar service yet, so no idea on the prices.Check it out, its a good time.
Was fun lots of options for kids and the laser tag was a blast but alot of the games were not working properly.
Fun times with the family and friends. There was about 13 of us, and we paid for the Platinum cards that gave us unlimited attractions and some games. It was worth the money. Everyone had something to do: air hockey, bowl, laser tag, rock climbing, pool table, darts and lots of fun games. There was putt-putt golf and tight rope walking. There is also a food area that ordered wings, drinks and fries from. The prices are decent and competitive. The staff was super nice! And PKs was clean in every area. Definitely recommend for at least one time.
I brought my wife and kids and paid $135.00. As far as price goes it s somewhat in the median of all other family fun centers. I do not recommend the Family of four, two hour package. None of the attractions were amazing, but they were each a good taste of each activity. Definitely one of those places were you can have your cake and eat it too, but at the cost of limited entertainment. The arcade machines are far and few in between and are extremely modernized. Majority of them being games that you could play on your phone often times for free. I think they ultimately fell short and rather than having to classic arcade experience decided to go with the bigger money grabbers. It was a fun experience for my kids but I don’t think I’d go again. That being said if you’re coming here for laser tag I would recommend against it as it’s not the most enjoyable laser tag course. If I could give an age recommendation it would be between the ages 3 and 10. Anyone older than that will lose interest as there are other places you can go that are more entertaining, but are limited to specific experiences. As far as the staff goes they were pretty respectful and lenient. A lot of them will give you a tongue in cheek or wink of the eye answers, which is nice. For the snowflake parents with baby bumper children, it’s a relatively safe place. The staff monitors the smaller children areas to make sure that older children are not interrupting their fun or risking their safety..
Very hot on the inside, they need AC
