I found Butchs Auto Repair years ago... they are hands down, the most trustworthy mechanic in town. I dont normally take time to write reviews, but because of the service Ive received here, I felt its the least I could do. Ive been to them at least 10 times in the past several years... and the service has always been top notch. Ive taken my cars to Butch for years. Its super convenient across the street from my neighborhood. Butch is honest and truly trustworthy. He thoroughly and professionally does what you ask him to do, but will advise you if anything else needs to be done. If so, he always gets your approval first. I like that he checks to be sure your car is safe and reliable as he works.

My family go almost exclusively to Butches. They are always very friendly, and have never once been shady. They are honest about the work they do, and what you will need to get done. They have never tried to upsell or nickel & dime us. I cant recommend Butches enough. If more businesses ran like them, this world would be a better place.

Im so glad my friend suggested Butchs several years ago. I own a 2001 Pathfinder and have needed a few repairs over the years. I couldnt be more happy with the service theyve provided. Butch, Shannon, and Roger work as a team to get the job done right and in a timely manner. Most jobs have taken no more than a few hours. On occasion, Shannon has been nice enough to drive me home and then pick me up when the work was done. Now I live about 30 minutes away, but still use their services because Id trust no one else. Butch gives it to you straight. Do you want to pay for repairs, or do you want to start saving for a new car? Right now I want to get as much out of this vehicle as I can, but he breaks it down for you, and makes recommendations that fit you, not the other way around. Ive got to laugh at some of these reviews. Youre really going to complain about Butch’s wife, Shannon, running the shop? It’s a family run business for God’s sake! And as far as high labor rates, you get what you pay for, and Butchs is very reasonably priced.

This is not a fancy place. In fact, it is very basic- an old, small, very used trailer as an office and waiting area, and then the garage or shop. However, everyone there is very friendly, they took the time to show me the issue(s) and let me decide what I wanted to do without pressure. I felt their price was reasonable (about $60 less than the dealer) and they were honest. I am happy to give my money to people like this. I will continue to go back as I need and update this if anything changes.

Tells you it’s fixed and charges you. It’s not fixed. This is an oil change mechanic. At best.Stay Away.

They always take care of the customer first, will thoroughly investigate the problem and always prce it fairly. If he cant do it, he wont pretend just to charge you. He will recommend other places that can be trusted. This is the best place to go if you dont want any worries about price gouging or dishonest work. My family has trusted him for years.

HONEST and Family owned and operated businiess. I have been patronizing Butchs for 22 years. Everyone that I have sent there has become a fan. There have been times that I have dropped off my car, only to have Butch call and say it is a simple fix, come back and there is no charge. I am not expert in auto matters and they could easily have said it is an expensive repair and I would have paid it.

I am very disappointed. They were not knowledgeable about the parts needed to complete the job. They held my vehicle for two days and ordered the wrong parts. Then they proceeded to convince me that they could repair my vehicle without the new part being unable too they called me to tell me that they could not repair my vehicle and charge me 140 dollars knowing that the repairs I need for my vehicle will exceed 1,000 dollars. I feel taken advantage of.

I had locked my keys in my truck and this nice guy helped me unlock it. Called the place to ask and he was out in 3 minutes!

My company van broke down a mile from his shop. My 2 installers were stuck an hour from my business location. I found him on google and contacted him. He stopped what he was doing, went down to get them moving so they could get to his shop. This kept me from having to pay for a tow. He determined it was a bad alternator, fixed it for a reasonable price and got my guys down the road. From beginning to end, he got it all done in about 2 hours and my guys were ready to keep moving the next day. Thanks a bunch!

Butch, Shannon, and Roger do a great job. Butch has always given me the best and most economical repair/maintenance advice. I have used and known Butchs business for the past 8 years; since the time they were called Butchs AAMCO opposite to (U-Save now Bravo) the BP gas station south of Hillsborough. Honest, hardworking and reasonable team.He did seem pricey to me initially, but as they say, you get what you pay for; I believe his charges are every bit reasonable. During one instance they inadvertently overlooked diagnosing an issue with my used car; when I went back, they fixed it for no charge other than the parts that I would have needed in the first place. I highly recommend these folks. NO overselling; NO fooling around; NO nonsense; very trustworthy;
